Backfilling technology and strata behaviors in fully mechanized coal mining working face显示文摘Based on the principle of fully mechanized backfilling and coal mining technology and combined with the Xingtai Coal Mine conditions,we mainly optimized the coal mining equipment and adjusted the coal mining method in the Xingtai Coal Mine 7606 working face for implementation this technology.Firstly,we define the practical backfilling process as the ''(from backfilling scraper conveyor's) head to tail backfilling, step by step swinging up of the tamping arm, gradual compacting, moving formed backfilling scraper conveyor when the second tamping arm cannot pass and connecting the immediate roof by back material push front material movement''.Meanwhile, the stress changes of backfill body in coal mined out area was monitored by stress sensors, and the roof caving law was analyzed by monitoring the dynamic subsidence of à210 west roadway of this face. The site tests results show that using this new backfilling and coal mining integrated technology, the production capacity in the 7606 working face can reach to 283,000 ton a year, and 282,000 ton of solid materials(waste and fly ash) is backfilled, which meets the needs of high production and efficiency. The goaf was compactly backfilled with solid material and the strata behavior was quite desirable, with an actual maximum vertical stress of the backfill body of 5.5 MPa.Backfill body control the movement of overburden within a certain range, and there is no collapses of major areas in the overlying strata upon backfilled gob.The maximum subsidence and speed were 231 mm and 15.75 mm/d respectively, which proved the practical significance of this integrated technology. | Zhang Qiang Zhang Jixiong Huang Yanli Ju Feng | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2: | 55
Strata movement controlling effect of waste and fly ash backfillings in fully mechanized coal mining with backfilling face显示文摘A fully mechanized coal mining with backfilling (FMCMB) provides advantages of safety and efficiency for coal mining under buildings, railways, and water bodies. According to the field geological conditions, we analyzed the controlling effect of strata movement by the waste and fly ash backfilling in FMCMB face. Based on the key strata theory, we established the equivalent mining thickness model, and analyzed the action of the bulk factor of backfilling body to the equivalent mining thickness. In addition, we numerically simulated the controlling function of the strata movement by backfilling bodies with differ- ent strength. And the numerical simulation result show that the deformation of stratum and the subsi- dence of surface can be controlled by FMCMB. The result provides references to the effective execution of fully mechanized coal mining with solid waste backfilling in goaf. | Zhang Jixiong Zhang Qiang Huang Yanli Liu Jinwei Zhou Nan Zan Dongfeng | 2011 | Mining Science and Technology2011,21,5: | 27
An investigation of surface deformation after fully mechanized, solid back fill mining显示文摘The surface deformation after fully mechanized back filling mining was analyzed. The surface deformation for different backfill materials was predicted by an equivalent mining height model and numerical simulations. The results suggest that:(1) As the elastic modulus,E,of the backfill material increases the surface subsidence decreases. The rate of subsidence decrease drops after E is larger than 5 GPa;(2) Fully mechanized back fill mining technology can effectively control surface deformation. The resulting surface deformation is within the specification grade I,which means surface maintenance is not needed.A site survey showed that the equivalent mining height model is capable of predicting and analyzing surface deformation and that the model is conservative enough for engineering safety. Finally, the significance of establishing a complete error correction system based on error analysis and correction is discussed. | Li Jian Zhang Jixiong Huang Yanli Zhang Qiang Xu Junming | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,4: | 23
Green coal mining technique integrating mining-dressing-gas draining-backfilling-mining显示文摘Aiming to address the following major engineering issues faced by the Pingdingshan No. 12 mine:(1) difficulty in implementing auxiliary lifting because of its depth(i.e., beyond 1000 m);(2) highly gassy main coal seam with low permeability;(3) unstable overlying coal seam without suitable conditions for implementing conventional mining techniques for protective coal seam; and(4) predominant reliance on ‘‘under three' coal resources to ensure production output. This study proposes an integrated, closed-cycle mining-dressing-gas draining-backfilling-mining(MDGBM) technique. The proposed approach involves the mining of protective coal seam, underground dressing of coal and gangue(UDCG), pressure relief and gas drainage before extraction, and backfilling and mining of the protected coal seam. A system for draining gas and mining the protective seam in the rock stratum is designed and implemented based on the geological conditions. This system helps in realizing pressure relief and gas drainage from the protective seam before extraction. Accordingly, another system, which is connected to the existing production system, is established for the UDCG based on the dense medium-shallow trough process. The mixed mining workface is designed to accommodate both solid backfill and conventional fully mechanized coal mining, thereby facilitating coal mining, USCG, and backfilling. The results show that: The mixed mining workface length for the Ji15-31010 protected seam was 220 m with coal production capacity 1.2 million tons per year, while the backfill capacity of gangue was 0.5 million tons per year. The gas pressure decreased from 1.78 to 0.35 MPa, and the total amount of safely mined coal was 1.34 million tons. The process of simultaneously exploiting coal and draining gas was found to be safe, efficient, and green. This process also yielded significant economic benefits. | Zhang Jixiong Zhang Qiang Spearing A.J.S.(Sam) Miao Xiexing Guo Shuai Sun Qiang | 2017 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2017,27,1: | 14
Mechanical analysis of roof stability under nonlinear compaction of solid backfill body显示文摘Based on the compaction characteristic test and the nonlinear compaction deformation characteristics of backfill material, this paper applies the theory of nonlinear elastic foundation of thin plate to establish a mechanical model of backfill body and roof in solid dense backfill coal mining. This study critically analyses the deflection equation of the roof by the energy method, derives the conditions of roof breakage and combined with concrete engineering practice analyses, determines roof movement regularity and stability in solid dense backfill mining. Analysis of the engineering practice of the 13,120 backfill panel of Pingmei 12# mine shows the theoretical maximum of roof convergence in backfill mining to be415 mm which is in significant agreement with the measured value. During the advancing process of solid backfill mining at the panel, the maximum tensile stress on the roof is less than its tensile strength which does not satisfy the conditions for roof breakage. Drilling results on the roof and ground pressure monitoring show that the integrity of roof is strong, which is consistent with the theoretical calculations described in this study. The results presented in the study provide a basis for further investigation into strata movement theory in solid dense backfill mining. | Li Meng Zhang Jixiong Liu Zhan Zhao Xu Huang Peng | 2016 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,5: | 13
Construction and stability of an extra-large section chamber in solid backfill mining显示文摘In solid backfill mining without gangue removal, the gangue is separated directly underground and backfilled into goaf. This necessitates the underground construction of an extra-large section chamber for separation equipments. For the construction of an extra-large section chamber in the Tangshan mine, we proposed an active support through a combination of bolting, anchor cables, lining, and a reinforced chamber floor by inverted arch pouring. ABAQUS software was used to analyze the surrounding rock deformation and the plastic zone development of the chamber under different excavation schemes. The best excavation scheme was determined, and the effectiveness of the combined supports was verified. In practice, the engineering installation showed good overall control of the movement of the surrounding rock, with roof-to-floor and side-to-side convergences of 154.6 and 77.5 mm, respectively, which meets the requirements for underground coal gangue separation. | Ju Feng Li Meng Zhang Jixiong Miao Xiexing Liu Zhan | 2014 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2014,24,6: | 10
Design and application of solid, dense backfill advanced mining technology with two pre-driving entries显示文摘New solid backfill mining technology provides unique technical advantages for ‘‘three-under'' coal mining which refers to coal resources trapped under buildings, railways, and water bodies. This technology has a much higher recovery rate and can effectively control the surface subsidence. However, successful application of this technology depends heavily on geological conditions. To avoid the disadvantages associated with downward mining and overhead backfilling with this new technology, a new advanced solid backfill mining design with two pre-driving entries is proposed here to ensure the backfill effect. Taking Huayuan coal mine as an example, this paper tests the double gob-side entries retaining with no pillar left scheme and optimizes an integrated technology setup for backfill mining and gob-side entry retaining. Field applications show that the recovery rate increased from 40% for strip mining to 85% for backfill mining. Moreover, the new backfill technology allowed for better control over the surrounding rock deformation caused by the gob-side entry retaining effect and better control of ground subsidence as compared to strip mining. | Zhang Qiang Zhang Jixiong Guo Shuai Gao Rui Li Weikang | 2015 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,1: | 10
Vertical transportation system of solid material for backfilling coal mining technology显示文摘For transportation of solid backfill material such as waste and fly ash from the surface to the bottom of the shaft in a fully mechanized backfilling coal backfilling coal mining technology, we developed a new vertical transportation system to transport this type of solid backfill material. Given the demands imposed on safely in feeding this material, we also investigated the structure and basic parameter of this system. For a mine in the Xingtai mining area the results show that: (1) a vertical transportation system should include three main parts, i.e., a feeding borehole, a maintenance chamber and a storage silo; (2) we determined that 486 mm is a suitable diameter for bore holes, the diameter of the storage silo is 6 m and its height 30 m in this vertical transportation system; (3) a conical buffer was developed to absorb the impact during the feeding process. To ensure normal implementation of fully mechanized backfilling coal mining technology and the safety of underground personnel, we propose a series of security technologies for anti-blockage, storage silo cleaning, high pressure air release and aspiration. This vertical transporting system has been applied in one this particular mine, which has fed about 4 million tons solid material with a feeding depth of 350 m and safely exploited 3 million tons of coal. | Ju Feng Zhang Jixiong,Zhang Qiang | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,1: | 8
Deformation response of roof in solid backfilling coal mining based on viscoelastic properties of waste gangue显示文摘Solid backfill mining(SBM)is a form of green mining, the core of which is to control and minimize the deformation and movement of strata above longwall coal mines.Establishing a mechanical model that can reliably describe roof deformation by considering the viscoelastic properties of waste gangue is important as it assists in improving mine designs and reducing the environmental impact on the surface. In this paper, the time-dependent deformation characteristics of gangue under different stress levels were obtained by using lateral confinement compression, that reliably represents the compaction of goaf. The viscoelastic foundation model for gangue mechanical response is different from the traditionally used elastic foundation model,as it considers the time factor and viscoelasticity.A mechanical model using a thin plate on a fractional viscoelastic foundation was established, and the roof deflection, bending moment,time-dependent,viscous and other characteristics of SBM were included and analyzed.Compared with the existing elastic foundation model, the proposed fractional order viscoelastic foundation model has higher accuracy with laboratory data. The plate deflection increases by 50.9%and the bending moment increases by 37.9%after 100 days, which the elastic model would not have been able to predict. | Peng Huang Jixiong Zhang Xingjie Yan Anthony John Spencer Spearing Meng Li Shiwei Liu | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,2: | 8
Mechanical analysis of effective pressure relief protection range of upper protective seam mining显示文摘This paper analyzes the control mechanism of coal and gas outbursts and proposes the concept of an effective pressure relief protection range, based on the stress relief of the underlying coal-rock mass and the development of a plastic zone. Also this study developed a stress change and fracture development model of the underlying coal-rock mass. In addition, the stress and depth of fracture of any point in the floor were deduced with the application of Maple Calculation Software. The specific engineering parameters of the Pingdingshan No. 12 colliery were applied to determine the relationship between the depth of fracture in the floor and the mining height. The pressure-relief principle of the underlying coal-rock mass was analyzed while varying the mining height of the upper protective seam. The findings indicate that as the depth of fracture in the floor increases, the underlying coal-rock mass experiences a limited amount of pressure relief, and the pressure relief protection range becomes narrower.Additionally, the stress distribution evolves from a ‘‘U' shape into a ‘‘V' shape. A 2.0 m mining height of protective seam situates the outburst-prone seam, Ji_(15), within the effective pressure relief protection range. The fracture development and stress-relief ratio rises to 88%, ensuring the pressure-relief effect as well as economic benefits. The measurement data show that: after mining the upper protective seam, the gas pressure of Ji_(15) dropped from 1.78 to 0.35 MPa, demonstrating agreement between the engineering application and the theoretical calculation. | Yin Wei Miao Xiexing Zhang Jixiong Zhong Sijian | 2017 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2017,27,3: | 8
Huge thick conglomerate movement induced by full thick longwall mining huge thick coal seam显示文摘A discrete elemental method was used to study the thickness of conglomerate layer in a full thick seam mining activities under the influence of the law, pointing out the thickness of the conglomerate at different seam mining, and during the destruction and instability of existing state of laws. At 21141 thick seam mining, the face toward the direction of separation between the thick layer of conglomerate rock and the next bit after reaching its maximum capacity due to pull from the bottom of the plastic zone, formed a stratified and hierarchical down collapse. The shape of caving area is a ''triangular block'', the length of the plastic zone and face advancement from the linear fit between the height of the plastic zone and the advancing face is a quadratic function of distance, while the top layer of thick gravel layer is the overall bending subsidence trend. Tilting the direction of the face, a thick gob of collapsed conglomerate layer is formed in the coal gob entity on both sides of the thick conglomerate at the top of the overall fracture morphology performance, thus forming a mutual extrusion of articulated block structure. The instability, separation and balance of the thick conglomerate layer in the hinged block stope stress leads to abnormal occurrence of rock burst induced by face as the major factor in the accident. This research reveals the form of stress distribution in the destroyed layer of the thick conglomerate rock, analyzes the stope law of coupling for the pressure burst behavior law for the mining work face, and the choice of preventive measures to provide a theoretical basis and implementation. | Ma Liqiang Qiu xiaoxiang Dong Tao Zhang Jixiong Huang Yanli | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,3: | 7
A state‑of‑the‑art review on rock seepage mechanism of water inrush disaster in coal mines显示文摘Water inrush is one of the most dangerous disasters in coal mining.Due to the large-scale mining and complicated hydrogeological conditions, thousands of deaths and huge economic losses have been caused by water inrush disasters in China. There are two main factors determining the occurrence of water inrush:water source and water-conducting pathway.Research on the formation mechanism of the water-conducting pathway is the main direction to prevent and control the water inrush, and the seepage mechanism of rock mass during the formation of the water-conducting pathway is the key for the research on the water inrush mechanism. This paper provides a state-of-the-art review of seepage mechanisms during water inrush from three aspects,i.e.,mechanisms of stress-seepage coupling, fow regime transformation and rock erosion.Through numerical methods and experimental analysis, the evolution law of stress and seepage felds in the process of water inrush is fully studied;the fuid movement characteristics under diferent fow regimes are clearly summarized;the law of particle initiation and migration in the process of water inrush is explored, and the efect of rock erosion on hydraulic and mechanical properties of the rock media is also studied. Finally, some limitations of current research are analyzed, and the suggestions for future research on water inrush are proposed in this review. | Dan Ma Hongyu Duan Jixiong Zhang Haibo Bai | 2022 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,4: | 4
Overlying strata movement of recovering standing pillars with solid backfilling by physical simulation显示文摘To analyze the overlying strata movement law of recovering room mining standing pillars with solid backfilling.Physical simulation experiments with sponge and wood as the backfilling simulation material were tested. The results show that:(i) The covering-rock mechanics of the overly strata comes from 'two-arch structures + hinged girder + bend beam' to 'backfilling material + hinged girder + bent beam' by increasing the fill ratio from 0%to 85%,the beginning of overlying strata movement appears later and the total duration of subsidence velocity increased from zero to the highest value increases. The trend of 'single polarization' of the subsidence velocity curves becomes noticeable and the velocity variation trend becomes stable,(ii) The equiponderate aeolian sand was added to improve the anti-pressure ability of the loess, and the corresponding ground processing & transportation system was designed. | An Baifu Miao Xiexing Zhang Jixiong Ju Feng Zhou Nan | 2016 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,2: | 3
Research into stope roof control of compound roof by solid backfilling mining显示文摘Based on the analysis of the failure characteristics and backfilling effect of the compound roof at 1801 backfilling workface in Taiyuan coal mine,China,we propose a method of controlling the presubsidence of a compound roof by using pre-stressed bolts to improve the backfilling ratio of the workface so as to maintain the global stability of the stope roof.In addition,PHASE simulation software was employed to analyze the influence law of pre-stressing force, length, and interval on roof subsidence at the workface. On the basis of the numerical simulation results,a model for calculating the pre-stressing force and length of the bolts, the interval between the bolts,as well as roof subsidence at the workface, was established by using SPSS regression analysis software. Moreover, the research results were applied successfully to the 1801 filling workface.According to the monitoring data of roof closure,it was found that the final subsidence value for the goaf roof was 350 mm and the filling ratio at the workface was 86%,which could fully meet the demand for safety production at the workface. The safe and effective control of the stope roof was therefore realized, which achieves the goal of safe and efficient backfilling mining under a compound roof. | Gao Rui Zhang Jixiong Spearing A.J.S. | 15 | Research and application of schemes for constructing concrete pillars in large section finishing cut in backfill coal mining显示文摘Based on the technology of controlling surrounding rock deformation by constructing concrete pillars in large section finishing cut in backfill coal mining, the characteristics of vertical stress on concrete pillars and main factors influencing pillar stability are analyzed. By building a Winkler elastic foundation mechanical model for the support system constituted of coal pillar, backfill body and concrete pillars, mechanical calculation on stability of concrete pillar is carried out to evaluate the pillar stability and safety. Seven numeral models in three schemes with different pillar sizes, inter-row distances and compression ratios at the stopes were analyzed through numerical simulation according to width reduction principle. The practice of finishing cut at III644 workface at Yangzhuang coal mine shows that: when the actual compression ratio is 86.5%, construction size inside the finishing cut is 2000 mm 2000 mm and the interval between concrete pillars is 2000 mm 2000 mm, the pillars can be stable with the maximum movement of two sides of each pillar being only 83 mm and 54 mm, which achieves the expected effect. | Sun Qiang Zhang Jixiong Ju Feng Li Linyue Zhao Xu | 2015 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,6: | 3
A Numerical Gas Fracturing Model of Coupled Thermal,Flowing and Mechanical Effects显示文摘Gas fracturing, which overcomes the limitation of hydraulic fracturing,is a potential alternative technology for the development of unconventional gas and oil resources. However, the mechanical principle of gas fracturing has not been learned comprehensively when the fluid is injected into the borehole. In this paper,a damage-based model of coupled thermal-flowing-mechanical effects was adopted to illustrate the mechanical principle of gas fracturing.Numerical simulation tools Comsol Multiphysics and Matlab were integrated to simulate the coupled process during the gas fracturing.Besides, the damage evolution of drilling areas under several conditions was fully analyzed.Simulation results indicate that the maximum tensile stress, which occurs in the upper and lower of the injection hole, decreases with the increase of the tectonic stress coefficient(TSC).As the TSC increases, shear fractures increase,a crushed area is gradually formed and the seepage area increases rapidly. The influence of TSC on fracture expansion is concluded as follows:with the decrease of TSC,the relative width of fractures decreases whilst the depth increases. It indicates that thermal stress and pore pressure promote the expansion of tensile fractures but restrain the expansion of shear fractures. Therefore,a relatively lower injection gas pressure is required to obtain the same degree of fracturing with a coupled thermal gradient. | Dan Ma Hongyu Duan Qi Zhang Jixiong Zhang Wenxuan Li Zilong Zhou Weitao Liu | 2020 | Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,12: | 2

The Process of Bacterial Translocation in a Rodent Model of Biliary Obstruction显示文摘Objective:Obstructive jaundice promotes bacterial translocation from the gut,the process of which remains unclear. Methods:Obstructive jaundice was induced under sterile conditions by laparotomy, ligation and transection of common bile duct.Seven days after induction, animals were killed for transmission electron microscopy. Results:The direct invasion of the enterocytes by enteric bacteria was observed.Phagocytes (predominately macrophages) bearing bacteria were found in the intestinal lumen,in the fissure between the enterocytes,in the lamina propria, submucosa and subepithelial lymphatics. Conclusions:Enteric bacteria aggressively enter into the enterocytes rather than between them by a process different from classical phagocytosis.Meanwhile, macrophages appear to act as “carrier”of bacteria in their translocation. The lymphatic-systemic circulation might be a main route of bacterial transloscation to the extraintestinal sites. | Hu Jixiong Department of General Surgery,Second Affiliated Hospital,Hunan Medical University,Changsha,P.R.China Zhang Yangde,Liao Yongjun Hepato-Biliary-Enteric Surgery Research Center,The Public Health Ministry,Changsha,P.R.China | 2000 | 中国现代医学杂志2000,10,12: | 1
