1Understanding the“SMART”features of hematopoietic stem cells and beyond显示文摘Since the huge success of bone marrow transplantation technology in clinical practice,hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs)have become the gold standard for defining the properties of adult stem cells(ASCs).Here,we describe the“self-renewal,multilineage differentiation,apoptosis,rest,and trafficking”or“SMART”model,which has been developed based on data derived from studies of HSCs as the most well-characterized stem cell type.Given the potential therapeutic applications of ASCs,we delineate the key characteristics of HSCs using this model and speculate on the physiological relevance of stem cells identified in other tissues.Great strides are being made in understanding the biology of ASCs,and efforts are now underway to develop safe and effective ASC-based therapies in this emerging area.Shiru Yuan Guohuan Sun Yawen Zhang Fang Dong Hui Cheng Tao Cheng 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,12:2

4Sentence Similarity Measurement with Convolutional Neural Networks Using Semantic and Syntactic Features显示文摘Calculating the semantic similarity of two sentences is an extremely challenging problem.We propose a solution based on convolutional neural networks(CNN)using semantic and syntactic features of sentences.The similarity score between two sentences is computed as follows.First,given a sentence,two matrices are constructed accordingly,which are called the syntax model input matrix and the semantic model input matrix;one records some syntax features,and the other records some semantic features.By experimenting with different arrangements of representing the syntactic and semantic features of the sentences in the matrices,we adopt the most effective way of constructing the matrices.Second,these two matrices are given to two neural networks,which are called the sentence model and the semantic model,respectively.The convolution process of the neural networks of the two models is carried out in multiple perspectives.The outputs of the two models are combined as a vector,which is the representation of the sentence.Third,given the representation vectors of two sentences,the similarity score of these representations is computed by a layer in the CNN.Experiment results show that our algorithm(SSCNN)surpasses the performance MPCPP,which noticeably the best recent work of using CNN for sentence similarity computation.Comparing with MPCNN,the convolution computation in SSCNN is considerably simpler.Based on the results of this work,we suggest that by further utilization of semantic and syntactic features,the performance of sentence similarity measurements has considerable potentials to be improved in the future.Shiru Zhang Zhiyao Liang Jian Lin 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,5:1

6Intrinsically patterned corrals in monolayer Ag_(5)Se_(2) and selective molecular co-adsorption显示文摘Functionalized two-dimensional(2D)materials play an important role in both fundamental sciences and practical applications.The construction and precise control of patterns at the atomic-scale are necessary for selective and multiple functionalization.Here we report the fabrication of monolayer pentasilver diselenide(Ag_(5)Se_(2)),a new type of intrinsically patterned 2D material,by direct selenization of a Ag(111)surface.The atomic arrangement is determined by a combination of scanning tunneling microscopy(STM),low-energy electron diffraction(LEED),and density-functional-theory(DFT)calculations.Large-scale STM images exhibit a quasi-periodic pattern of stoichiometric triangular domains with a side length of~15 nm and apical offsets.The boundaries between triangular domains are sub-stoichiometric.Deposition of different molecules on the patterned Ag_(5)Se_(2) exhibits selective adsorption behavior.Pentacene molecules preferentially adsorb on the boundaries,while tetracyanoquinodimethane(TCNQ)molecules adsorb both on the boundaries and the triangular domains.By co-depositing pentacene and TCNQ molecules,we successfully construct molecular corrals with pentacene on the boundaries encircling TCNQ molecules on the triangular domains.The realization of epitaxial large-scale and high-quality,monolayer Ag_(5)Se_(2) extends the family of intrinsically patterned 2D materials and provides a paradigm for dual functionalization of 2D materials.Jianchen Lu Shiru Song Shuai Zhang Yang Song Yun Cao Zhenyu Wang Li Huang Hongliang Lu Yu-Yang Zhang Sokrates T.Pantelides Shixuan Du Xiao Lin Hong-Jun Gao 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
7Algorithm of sky-ground-wave signal separation in CDMA system显示文摘To solve the problem of the sky-wave interference in radio positioning system operating in CDMA mode, an algorithm of sky-ground-wave separation is provided. Based on the MLE (maximum likelihood estimate), and by estimating the amplitude and the phase of the sky-wave signal, the provided algorithm for separating sky-ground-wave is implemented. The mathematics model used for signal processing is established, and the possible solutions are provided. The structure and signal processing flow implementing the presented algorithm in the receiver are presented. A multi-channels signal searching idea is adopted, some of which process the sky-wave signal, and some of which process the ground-wave signal. Numerical analysis and simulation show that the proposed algorithm has higher accuracy, more rapid processing speed, and simpler implementation for the estimation of the sky-wave signal parameter, and can separate the sky-wave signal and ground-wave signal from the arrival combination signal effectively.Zhang Jingjuan Chen Shiru 2008Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2008,19,2:0
8Stability analysis of proportional delayed projection neural network for quadratic programming problem显示文摘At present,projection neural network(PNN)with bounded time delay has been widely used for solving convex quadratic programming problem(QPP).However,there is little research concerning PNN with unbounded time delay.In this paper,we propose the proportional delayed PNN to solve QPP with equality constraints.By utilizing homeo morphism mapping principle,we prove the proportional delayed PNN exists with unique equilibrium point which is the optimal solution of QPP.Simultaneously,delay-dependent criteria about global exponential stability(GES)and global polynomial stability(GPS)are also acquired by applying the method of variation of constants and inequality techniques.On the other hand,when proportional delay factor q is equal to 1,the proportional delayed PNN becomes the one without time delay which still can be utilized for solving QPP.But in most situations,q is not equal to 1,and time delay is unpredictable and may be unbounded in the actual neural network,which causes instability of system.Therefore,it is necessary to consider proportional delayed PNN.A numerical example demonstrates that,compared with the proportional delayed Lagrange neural network,the proportional delayed PNN is faster in terms of convergence rate.The possible reason is that appropriate parameters make the model converge to the equilibrium point along the direction of gradient descent.Xiehui Song Liqun Zhou Yu Wang Shiru Zhang Yuji Zhang 2023International Journal of Biomathematics2023,16,1:0
