| 1 | Sponge spicules in phosphorites of the Early Cambrian Gezhongwu Formation,Zhijin,Guizhou显示文摘Phosphorites occurring at the bottom of the Cambrian system contain abundant small shelly fossils,which are the prod-uct of the first episode of life explosion in the Cambrian.It was previously reported that the small shelly fossils are dominated by hy-olithids,olivooids,zhijinitids,conodontomorphs,yubelichitids,camenitids and algae,with minor amounts of sponge fossils.Large amounts of sponge spicules,diverse in form,have been found for the first time in the Gezhongwu Formation phosphorites at Shixing,Zhi-jin County,Guizhou Province,of which such spicules as diaxon-triactins,diaxon-tetractins,pentaxon-pentactins and hexon-hexactins ac-count for30%.These spicules constitute the sponge clastic phosphorites made up of sponge clastics.Meanwhile,it is also expected that the radiation and diversity of sponge animals started as early as in the earliest Early Cambrian.Habit and burying environment of sponge animal are discussed in the paper. | YANGRuidong QIANYi ZHANGJie ZHANGWeihua JIANGLijun GAOHui | 2004 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2004,14,10: | 8 |
| 2 | Improvement of Strength in 2024 Al Alloy by Enhanced Solution Treatment显示文摘In present paper, the effect of enhanced solution on mechanical properties and aging behavior in a commercially available 2024A1 alloy were investigated using tension test and scanning electron microscopy. Differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) was used to measure the incipient melting behavior and then determine the technology parameter of enhanced solution heat treatment for high strength. The results show that an appropriately enhanced solution treatment can make final solution temperature higher than that of the conventional solution temperature and improves second phase solution without the formation of overheated microstructure. | 3 | Recent advances in mass spectrometry analysis of low molecular weight heparins显示文摘Carbohydrates are important biomolecules and promising novel drug candidates, but their structural complexity and heterogeneity hinder their study and application. Low molecular weight heparins(LMWHs) are widely used as anticoagulants in the clinic and are considered the most successful carbohydrate-based drugs. They consist of both natural structures inherited from parent heparin and modified structures derived from depolymerization reactions. Sophisticated analytical methods are in great demand to elucidate the fine structure of LMWHs. This review summarizes recent progress in mass spectrometry(MS) that facilitates the in-depth structural characterization of LMWHs. The strategies can be sorted into top-down approaches and bottom-up approaches. In top-down approaches, the intact oligosaccharides are analyzed directly by hyphenated MS techniques to reveal their distribution and composition. Bottom-up approaches provide complementary structural information by analyzing partially enzymatically digested fragments or exhaustively degraded disaccharide building blocks of LMWHs. Advances in the MS/MS sequencing of short oligosaccharides and bioinformatics tools are also reviewed. | 4 | Herbal formula of Bushen Jianpi(补肾健脾方)combined with sorafenib inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma growth by promoting cell apoptosis and blocking the cell cycle显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of an herbal formula of Bushen Jianpi(补肾健脾方,BSJP)combined with sorafenib on hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)in vitro and in vivo,and to study the underlying mechanisms of action.METHODS:BSJP,a mixture of 12 raw herbs,was extracted in 70%alcohol/30%water and freeze-dried into a powder.The in vitro effects of BSJP alone,sorafenib alone,and their combination on cell survival,apoptosis,and cell cycle distribution were evaluated in HCC cell lines HCCLM3,HepG2,and SMMC-7721.The expression of B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),caspase-3,and caspase-9 in HCCLM3 cells was measured using Western blots after drug administration.The in vivo effects of BSJP and sorafenib were evaluated in a tumor surgical resection model using 4-week old male athymic BALB/c nude mice injected with HCCLM3 cells.Immunohistochemical analysis of tumor tissues was performed to evaluate the effects of BSJP alone,sorafenib alone,and their combination on the expression of caspase-3,caspase-9,and Bcl-2.RESULTS:BSJP decreased the survival rate of HCC cell lines,and the combination of BSJP and sorafenib further decreased the survival rate.BSJP significantly promoted cell apoptosis and blocked cell-cycle progression in HCCLM3,HepG2,and SMMC-7721 cells in a dose-dependent manner.Furthermore,the administration of BSJP and sorafenib inhibited the growth of HCCLM3 cell xenografts in nude mice,with no reduction in body weight.In vivo and in vitro experiments showed that BSJP combined with sorafenib could significantly decrease the expression of Bcl-2.CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that the herbal formula of BSJP is a potential HCC antitumor agent. | ZHOU Zhangjie LIU Xinhua WU Tingting QUE Zujue WU Zhonghua WU Weizhong FU Shujuan ZHANG Shiqiang YANG Yun JIANG Haiyan XIA Xiaoting LV Junqiang DU Boqian LI Yun LU Tao ZHANG Zhihui ZHONG Yi | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,2: | 3 |

Constructions of defining functions of cheating immune secret sharing on Vn are given, where n is any integer greater than 5. | 7 | Effect of Heat Treatment on Microstructures and Properties of Near-Isothermally Forged TiAl Alloy Containing Minor Ni显示文摘The heat treatment, including two steps, was proposed to obtain Fine Fully Lamellar (FFL) microstructure on TiAl containing minor Ni. The first step was in (a+y) phase region to get Duplex (DP) microstructure, and the second step was in a phase region transforming DP microstructure into FFL microstructure. The effect of heat treatment on microstructures and properties was studied. The results showed that the static recrystallization kinetics in (a+y) phase region took the form of Avrami equitation, and the remnant lamellae in DP microstructure were detrimental to room temperature tensile properties.
