1The Expression of Manganese Superoxide Dismutase Gene from Nelumbo nucifera Responds Strongly to Chilling and Oxidative Stresses显示文摘A manganese superoxide dismutase(Mn-SOD) gene,NnMSD1,was identified from embryonic axes of the sacred lotus(Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.) . The NnMSD1 protein contains all conserved residues of the Mn-SOD protein family,including four consensus metal binding domains and a signal peptide for mitochondrial targeting. Southern blot analysis suggests the existence of two Mn-SOD genes in sacred lotus. NnMSD1 was highly expressed in developing embryonic axes during seed development,but appeared in cotyledons only at the early stage of development and became undetectable in the cotyledons during late embryogenesis. The expression of the NnMSD1 gene in germinating embryonic axes,in response to various stresses such as heat shock,chilling,and exposure to stress-related chemicals,was also studied. Heat shock strongly inhibited the expression of the NnMSD1 gene,whereas the NnMSD1 transcript level increased strongly in chilling stress treatment. An increase in expression was also highly induced by H2O2 in germinating embryonic axes. 2UV/H2O2 oxidation of tri(2-chloroethyl) phosphate: Intermediate products, degradation pathway and toxicity evaluation显示文摘Tri(2-chloroethyl) phosphate(TCEP) with the initial concentration of 5 mg/L was degraded by UV/H2O2 oxidation process. The removal rate of TCEP in the UV/H2O2 system was 89.1% with the production of Cl-and PO4^3- of 0.23 and 0.64 mg/L. The removal rate of total organic carbon of the reaction was 48.8% and the pH reached 3.3 after the reaction. The oxidative degradation process of TCEP in the UV/H2O2 system obeyed the first order kinetic reaction with the apparent rate constant of 0.0025 min^-1( R^2 = 0.9788). The intermediate products were isolated and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometer. The addition reaction of HO · and H2O and the oxidation reaction with H2O2 were found during the degradation pathway of 5 mg/L TCEP in the UV/H2O2 system. For the first time, environment risk was estimated via the 'ecological structure activity relationships' program and acute and chronic toxicity changes of intermediate products were pointed out. The luminescence inhibition rate of photobacterium was used to evaluate the acute toxicity of intermediate products. The results showed that the toxicity of the intermediate products increased with the increase of reaction time, which may be due to the production of chlorine compounds. 4GenMuNN: A mutation-based approach to repair deep neural network models显示文摘Deep neural network(DNN)models have been widely used in e-commerce,games,auto-mobiles,manufacturing,and so on.Improper structure,parameters,activation function,or incorrect loss function of the DNN models may cause defects in performance or secu-rity.As a result,there are some researches that focus on repairing DNN such as MODE and Apricot.However,the cost of repairing is high or the repair may lead to overfit-ting.In order to solve this problem,we propose GenMuNN,which is a Mutation-Based Approach to Repair Deep Neural Network Models.First,it analyzes the importance of the weights of the neurons in each layer of the DNN model to the correctness of the final prediction results,and ranks the weights according to the influence on the prediction results of the DNN model.Second,mutation is performed to generate mutants based on the rank of weights,and genetic algorithms are used to select mutants for the next round of mutation until the stop condition is touched.Experiments are carried on a set of DNN models which are trained with the MNIST dataset.The experimental results show that GenMuNN can improve the accuracy of the DNN models.Huanhuan Wu Zheng Li Zhanqi Cui Jianbin Liu 2022International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing2022,13,2:1
5Transcriptome Analysis of Monozygotic Twin Brothers with Childhood Primary Myelofibrosis显示文摘Primary myelofibrosis(PMF) is a chronic myeloproliferative disorder in human bone marrow. Over 50% of patients with myelofibrosis have mutations in JAK2, MPL, or CALR. However, these mutations are rarely detected in children, suggesting a difference in the pathogenesis of childhood PMF. In this study, we investigated the response to drug treatment of a monozygotic twin pair with typical childhood PMF. The twin exhibited different clinical outcomes despite followingthe same treatment regimen. The transcriptomic profiles of patient samples after drug treatment(E2and Y2) were significantly different between the twin pair, which is consistent with the observation that the drug treatment was effective only in the younger brother, despite the twin being genetically identical. Bioinformatics analysis of the drug-responsive genes showed that the JAK-STAT pathway was activated in the cured younger brother, which is opposite to the pathway inhibition observed in adult PMF cases following treatment. Moreover, apoptosis and cell cycle processes were both significantly influenced by drug treatment in the sample of younger brother(Y2), implying their potential association with the pathogenesis of childhood PMF. Gene mutations in JAK2,MPL, or CALR were not observed; however, mutations in genes including SRSF2 and SF3B1 occurred in this twin pair with childhood PMF. Gene fusion events were extensively screened in the twin pair samples and the occurrence of IGLV2-14-IGLL5 gene fusion was confirmed. 6Dynamic Fracture Analysis of Functionally Gradient Materials with Two Cracks By Peridynamic Modeling显示文摘In the research,the dynamic fracture failure problem of functionally graded materials(FGMs)containing two pre-cracks was analyzed using a bond-based Peridynamic(PD)method numerical model.The two convergence of decreasing the area of PD horizon(δ-convergence)and uniform mesh refinement(m-convergence)were studied.The effects of both crack position and distance between two cracks on crack propagation pattern in FGMs plate under tensile loads are studied.Furthermore,the effects of different gradient patterns on the dynamic propagation of cracks in FGMs are also investigated.The simulate results suggest that the cracks positions and the distance between them can significantly influence the dynamic propagation of crack in FGMs.Gradient mode also has a certain effect on crack propagation,but the effect of specific gradient variation patterns on dynamic propagation of crack is finite.Zhanqi Cheng Dongdong Jin Chengfang Yuan Le Li 2019Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2019,,11:1
7Strong dual-state emission of unsymmetrical and symmetrical thiazolothiazole-bridged imidazolium salts显示文摘A novel thiazolothiazole-bridged imidazole derivative(1) was found to exhibit blue fluorescence in gaseous state or in methanol and yellow fluorescence in solid state. The N-alkylation of imidazole subunit(s) in 1 using n-propyl iodide generated unsymmetrically or symmetrically alkylated thiazolothiazolebridged imidazolium salts with good water solubility and remarkably strong emission in solution. Furthermore, the replacement of iodide counter-anion by triflate or bis(trifluoromethane sulfonyl)imide achieved remarkably strong emission in solid state and in solution as well as good water solubility. 11An acid-base responsive linear-cyclic polymer rotaxane molecular shuttle with fluorescence signal output显示文摘The preparation of intelligent-responsive materials with controllable topology structure has long been a significant objective for chemists in the field of materials science. In this paper, we designed and prepared a linear-cyclic reversible topological structure polymer based on the bistable [1]rotaxane molecular shuttle. A ferrocene-functionalized [1]rotaxane and naphthalimide fluorophore group are introduced into the both ends of the polymer, which exhibit distance-induced photo-electron transfer effect. The structural transformation between linear and cyclic state of polymer is demonstrated by simple acid-base stimuli, accompanying visual fluorescence changes. The transformation process was characterized by 1H NMR spectra and fluorescence spectra.
