1Clinical observation of Qushi Xiezhuo formula in reducing monosodium urate crystal deposition in patients with axial spondyloarthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate effect of Qushi Xiezhuo formula (QSXZF) on axial spondyloarthritis (AxSpA) with a high incidence of monosodium serum urate (MSU) crystal deposition.METHODS: In this prospective cohort study, 62 Ax- SpA patients diagnosed with MSU crystal deposition from October 2012 to July 2015 were recruited for follow-up observation for 1 year after discharge from the hospital. Patients were divided into a case group with QSXZF treatment and a control group without any interventions. X-ray and dual-energy computed tomography were used to assess structural damage in the pelvis and sacroiliac joint and the volume of the MSU crystals. The Wilcoxon rank-sum test and Fisher's exact test were used to compare the proportion and distribution between the groups. RESULTS: A decrease in C-reactive protein (CRP) level, relief from back pain, and an increase in MSU crystal depositions were found in control patients. Compared with the control group, QSXZF reduced CRP levels and back pain to a greater extent, as well as reduced erythrocyte sedimentation rate levels, serum uric acid levels, Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score, morning stiffness and MSU crystal deposition. CONCLUSION: QSXZF can lower progress of radiogrphaic grade at sacroiliac joint in AxSpA/AS patients with MSU crystal deposition by decreasing the inflammation response and reducing the serum uric acid and volume of MSU crystal deposition in sacroiliac joint. 2Achieving blue water-dispersed room-temperature phosphorescence of carbonized polymer dots through nano-compositing with mesoporous silica显示文摘Stabilizing triplet excited states is important for room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)materials to achieve multifunctional applications in humid environment.However,due to the lack of preparation strategies,the realization of RTP materials in water still faces challenges.Herein,a new design strategy was presented to achieve RTP in water by confining carbonized polymer dots(CPDs)in amino functional mesoporous silica(MSNs-NH_(2)).The as-prepared MSNs-CPDs aqueous dispersion exhibited blue afterglow,lasting more than 3 s to naked eyes.The triplet excited states were protected from non-radiative deactivation by the double-confinement effect including covalent bonding fixation and mesoporous structure confinement.The MSNs-CPDs inherited the structure of MSNs-NH_(2),so the stability of morphology and properties were superior to CPDs and even most of silica-based CPDs RTP materials.A water-related encryption technique demonstrated the promising application of MSNs-CPDs as smart materials in the field of information security.Besides,the possibility of potential application in ion detection was also explored.Chengyu Zheng Songyuan Tao Yang Liu Chunyuan Kang Bai Yang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
3Ultrathin wavy nanowires of high-entropy alloy as cocktail solution in methanol oxidation reaction显示文摘High entropy alloys(HEAs)with adjustable composition and diverse surface active sites show good catalytic performance of methanol oxidation reaction(MOR).However,the synthesis and morphology control of HEA remains a challenge.Herein,we use a fast co-reduction method to synthesize a series of ultrathin wavy nanowires(WNWs)with an average diameter of 3–5nm,including Pt-based and Pd-based binary alloys,and HEA with different pairs of immiscible elements.The catalytic properties of PtPdAgCuNi WNWs show that the mass activity and stability of PtPdAgCuNi WNWs is higher than Pt and Pd WNWs.Meanwhile we explored the cocktail effect among high entropy alloy elements through annealing.The cocktail effect among the metal elements in PtPdAgCuNi WNWs provided more active sites with increased metal-metal interactions,thus improving the catalytic efficiency.Songyuan Yuan Xiran Zhu Hui Li Zheng Hu Qianqian Ren Wenbo Zhao Xiangyang Tang Shi Hu 2023Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2023,33,2:0
4Confined-domain crosslink-enhanced emission effect in carbonized polymer dots显示文摘Revealing the photoluminescence(PL)origin and mechanism is a most vital but challenging topic of carbon dots.Herein,confined-domain crosslink-enhanced emission(CEE)effect was first studied by a well-designed model system of carbonized polymer dots(CPDs),serving as an important supplement to CEE in the aspect of spatial interactions.The“addition-condensation polymerization”strategy was adopted to construct CPDs with substituents exerting different degrees of steric hindrance.The effect of confined-domain CEE on the structure and luminescence properties of CPDs have been systematically investigated by combining characterizations and theoretical calculations.Such tunable spatial interactions dominated the coupling strength of the luminophores in one particle,and eventually resulted in the modulated PL properties of CPDs.These findings provide insights into the structural advantages and the PL mechanism of CPDs,which are of general significance to the further development of CPDs with tailored properties.Songyuan Tao Changjiang Zhou Chunyuan Kang Shoujun Zhu Tanglue Feng Shi-Tong Zhang Zeyang Ding Chengyu Zheng Chunlei Xia Bai Yang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,3:0
