The Chinese carbon cycle data-assimilation system(Tan-Tracker)显示文摘In this study, the Chinese carbon cyle dataassimilation system Tan-Tracker is developed based on the atmospheric chemical transport model(GEOS-Chem)platform.Tan-Tracker is a dual-pass data-assimilation system in which both CO2concentrations and CO2fluxes are simultaneously assimilated from atmospheric observations. It has several advantages, including its advanced data-assimilation method, its highly efficient computing performance, and its simultaneous assimilation of CO2concentrations and CO2fluxes.Preliminary observing system simulation experiments demonstrate its robust performance with high assimilation precision, making full use of observations. The Tan-Tracker system can only assimilate in situ observations for the moment. In the future,we hope to extend Tan-Tracker with functions for using satellite measurements, which will form the quasioperational Chinese carbon cycle data-assimilation system.Xiangjun Tian Zhenghui Xie Zhaonan Cai Yi Liu Yu Fu Huifang Zhang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,14:7
A Preliminary Review of the Metallogenic Regularity of Nickel Deposits in China显示文摘The nickel deposits mainly distributed in 19 provinces and autonomous regions in China are 339 ore deposits/occurrences, including 4 super large-scale deposits, 14 large-scale deposits, 26 middlescale deposits, 75 small-scale deposits, and 220 mineralized occurrences. The prediction types of mineral resources of nickel deposits are magmatic type, marine sedimentary type and regolith type. The formation age is from the Neoarchean to the Cenozoic with two peaks in the Neoproterozoic and the late Paleozoic. The nickel deposits formed in the Neoproterozoic are located on the margin of the North China Block and Yangtze Block, and those formed in the late Paleozoic are mainly distributed in the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB), Emeishan and the Tarim Large Igneous Provinces(LIPs). Magmatic nickel deposits are mainly related with broken-up continental margin, post-collision extension of the orogenic belt and mantle plume. According to different tectonic backgrounds and main characteristics of magmatism, the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series types of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks can be divided into 4 subtypes:(1) the Ni-Cu-CoPGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in the broken-up continental margin,(2) the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in mantle plume magmatism,(3) the Ni-Cu-CoPGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in the subduction of the orogenic belt, and(4) the Ni-Cu-Co-PGE metallogenic series subtype of ore deposits related with mantle-derived mafic-ultramafic rocks in post-collision extension of the orogenic belt. We have discussed in this paper the typical characteristics and metallogenic models for Neoproterozoic Ni-Cu-(PGE) deposits related with broken-up continental margin, Cambrian marine sedimentary Ni-Mo-V deposits related with black shale, early Permian Ni-Cu deposits related with post-collision extension of the orogenic belt, late Permian Ni-Cu-(PGE) deposits related with Large Igneous Provinces(LIPs), and Cenozoic Ni-Au deposits related with regolith. The broken-up continental margin, mantle plume and post-collision extension of the orogenic belt are important oreforming geological backgrounds, and the discordogenic fault, mafic-ultramafic intrusion, high Mg O primitive magma(high-Mg O basaltic magma), deep magmatism, sulfur saturation and sulfide segregation are 6 important geological conditions for the magmatic nickel deposits.SUN Tao WANG Denghong QIAN Zhuangzhi FU Yong CHEN Zhenghui LOU Debo 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4:3
Vanadium metal-organic framework-derived multifunctional fibers for asymmetric supercapacitor, piezoresistive sensor, and electrochemical water splitting显示文摘Fiber-shaped integrated devices are highly desirable for wearable and portable smart electronics, owing to their merits of lightweight, high flexibility, and wearability. However, how to effectively employ multifunctional fibers in one integrated device that can simultaneously achieve energy storage and utilization is a major challenge.Herein,a set of multifunctional fibers all derived from vanadium metal-organic framework nanowires grown on carbon nanotube fiber(V-MOF NWs@CNT fiber)is demonstrated, which can be used for various energy storage and utilization applications.First,a fiber-shaped asymmetric supercapacitor(FASC)is fabricated based on the CoNi-layered double hydroxide nanosheets@vanadium oxide NWs@CNT fiber(CoNi-LDH NSs@V2O5 NWs@CNT fiber)as the positive electrode and vanadium nitride(VN)NWs@CNT fiber as the negative electrode.Benefiting from the outstanding compatibility of the functional materials, the FASC with a maximum working voltage of 1.7 V delivers a high-stack volumetric energy density of 11.27 mW·h/cm3.Then,a fiber-shaped integrated device is assembled by twisting a fiber-shaped piezoresistive sensor(FPS;VN NWs@CNT fiber also served as the highly sensitive material)and a FASC together, where the highperformance FASC can provide a stable and continuous output power for the FPS.Finally, the S-VOx NWs@CNT fiber(sulfur-doped vanadium oxide)electrode shows promising electrocatalytic performance for both hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),which is further constructed into a self-driven water-splitting unit with the integration of the FASCs.The present work demonstrates that the V-MOF NWs@CNTderived fibers have great potential for constructing wearable multifunctional integrated devices.Jie Pu Yong Gao Qinghe Cao Gangwen Fu Xing Chen Zhenghui Pan Cao Guan 2022SmartMat2022,3,4:0
Approaching the upper boundary of driver-response relationships:identifying factors using a novel framework integrating quantile regression with interpretable machine learning显示文摘The identification of factors that may be forcing ecological observations to approach the upper boundary provides insight into potential mechanisms affecting driver-response relationships, and can help inform ecosystem management, but has rarely been explored. In this study,we propose a novel framework integrating quantile regression with interpretable machine learning. In the first stage of the framework,we estimate the upper boundary of a driver-response relationship using quantile regression.Next,we calculate“potentials”of the response variable depending on the driver, which are defined as vertical distances from the estimated upper boundary of the relationship to observations in the driver-response variable scatter plot. Finally,we identify key factors impacting the potential using a machine learning model. We illustrate the necessary steps to implement the framework using the total phosphorus(TP)-Chlorophyll a(CHL)relationship in lakes across the continental US.We found that the nitrogen to phosphorus ratio(N:P),annual average precipitation, total nitrogen(TN),and summer average air temperature were key factors impacting the potential of CHL depending on TP.We further revealed important implications of our findings for lake eutrophication management. The important role of N:P and TN on the potential highlights the co-limitation of phosphorus and nitrogen and indicates the need for dual nutrient criteria.Future wetter and/or warmer climate scenarios can decrease the potential which may reduce the efficacy of lake eutrophication management. The novel framework advances the application of quantile regression to identify factors driving observations to approach the upper boundary of driver-response relationships.Zhongyao Liang Yaoyang Xu Gang Zhao Wentao Lu Zhenghui Fu Shuhang Wang Tyler Wagner 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,6:0
One‑Pot Rational Deposition of Coaxial Double‑Layer MnO_(2)/Ni(OH)_(2) Nanosheets on Carbon Nanofibers for High‑Performance Supercapacitors显示文摘Constructing“nanoglue”between inorganic electroactive species and conductive carbon scaffolds is an effective strategy to improve their compatibility and binding interaction, holding a great promise for fabricating high-performance hybrid electrodes for supercapacitors. However, multistep reactions are usually required to obtain these multicomponent systems, thus giving rise to the complicated and time-consuming issues.Herein,we for the first time, demonstrate a green one-pot method to anchor coaxial double-layer MnO_(2)/Ni(OH)_(2)nanosheets on electrospun carbon nanofibers(CNFs)(denoted as MNC),where the intermediate MnO_(2)layer serves as the“nanoglue”to couple the vertically aligned Ni(OH)_(2)nanosheets and conductive CNFs.Benefiting from the unique chemical composition and hierarchical architecture, the resultant electrode delivers outstanding electrochemical performance, including an excellent specific capacitance(1133.3 F g^(-1)at 1 A g^(-1))and an ultrahigh rate capability(844.4 F g^(-1)at 20 A g^(-1)).Moreover,the asymmetric supercapacitor assembled by using the MNC as positive electrode and the CNF as negative electrode can achieve an optimal energy density of 35.1 Wh kg^(-1)and a maximum power density of 8000 W kg^(-1).The one-pot strategy that stabilizes electroactive metal hydroxides on conductive carbons using a MnO_(2)“nanoglue”to design advanced hybrid electrodes is expected to be broadly applicable not only to the supercapacitor technology but also to other electrochemical applications.Guangdi Nie Zhenyuan Zhang Yingqi Liu Jian Wang Chen Fu Haiqi Yin Juan Chen Lin Zhao Zhenghui Pan 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,5:0
