1A comprehensive review of bio-oil, bio-binder and bio-asphalt materials: Their source, composition, preparation and performance显示文摘To promote the application of bio-materials and provide a direction for their further researches,this paper comprehensively summarizes the research progress of biomaterials in recent years.The review results show that bio-oil is a mixture obtained from different biomasses through pyrolysis,alcoholysis,acidolysis,high liquefaction,etc.,and those biomasses mainly include wood fiber type,waste oil type and animal manure type.Biobinder refers to the product of bio-oil processed by distillation,extraction oxidation and polymer modification,and it can be served as a modifier,diluent or substitute material of asphalt;the main chemical components of bio-oil include ethers,esters,aldehydes,ketones,phenols,organic acids,alcohols and sugars.Bio-asphalt is obtained by adding biobinder into the petroleum asphalt for modification or blending,and the shear temperature and shear rate of bio-asphalt derived from wood fiber type and waste oil type are usually higher than that of bio-asphalt derived from swine manure.Compared with petroleum asphalt,bio-asphalt binder usually shows lower high-temperature performance as well as higher low-temperature performance and aging resistance.Also,bio-asphalt mixture generally exhibits lower high-temperature stability,higher low-temperature crack resistance and water stability than petroleum asphalt mixture.Future studies should be conducted combining with the source,composition,preparation,properties and oil production rate of bio-oil.First,how to raise the bio-binder content in bio-asphalt as much as possible while ensuring the sufficient performance becomes the focus of future researches.Second,the micro reaction mechanism between bio-binder and petroleum asphalt should be illustrated in depth.Moreover,developing a complete and unifying technical standard and application specification of bio-asphalt technology is necessary for future researches.Furthermore,determining the optimum bio-binder potentially used as the substitute of petroleum asphalt is also an interesting topic.Zhengqi Zhang Ying Fang Jianhua Yang Xinjun Li 2022Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2022,9,2:5
2Single-shot spectral-volumetric compressed ultrafast photography显示文摘In ultrafast optical imaging,it is critical to obtain the spatial structure,temporal evolution,and spectral composition of the object with snapshots in order to better observe and understand unrepeatable or irreversible dynamic scenes.However,so far,there are no ultrafast optical imaging techniques that can simultaneously capture the spatial–temporal–spectral five-dimensional(5D)information of dynamic scenes.To break the limitation of the existing techniques in imaging dimensions,we develop a spectral-volumetric compressed ultrafast photography(SV-CUP)technique.In our SV-CUP,the spatial resolutions in the x,y and z directions are,respectively,0.39,0.35,and 3 mm with an 8.8 mm×6.3 mm field of view,the temporal frame interval is 2 ps,and the spectral frame interval is 1.72 nm.To demonstrate the excellent performance of our SV-CUP in spatial–temporal–spectral 5D imaging,we successfully measure the spectrally resolved photoluminescent dynamics of a 3D mannequin coated with CdSe quantum dots.Our SV-CUP brings unprecedented detection capabilities to dynamic scenes,which has important application prospects in fundamental research and applied science.Pengpeng Ding Yunhua Yao Dalong Qi Chengshuai Yang Fengyan Cao Yilin He Jiali Yao Chengzhi Jin Zhengqi Huang Li Deng Lianzhong Deng Tianqing Jia Jinyang Liang Zhenrong Sun Shian Zhang 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,4:3
3Nested relation extraction with iterative neural network显示文摘Most existing researches on relation extraction focus on binary flat relations like Bomln relation between a Person and a Location.But a large portion of objective facts de-scribed in natural language are complex,especially in professional documents in fields such as finance and biomedicine that require precise expressions.For example,“the GDP of the United States in 2018 grew 2.9%compared with 2017”describes a growth rate relation between two other relations about the economic index,which is beyond the expressive power of binary flat relations.Thus,we propose the nested relation extraction problem and formulate it as a directed acyclic graph(DAG)structure extraction problem.Then,we propose a solution using the Iterative Neural Network which extracts relations layer by layer.The proposed solution achieves 78.98 and 97.89 FI scores on two nested relation extraction tasks,namely semantic cause-and-efFect relation extraction and formula extraction.Furthermore,we observe that nested relations are usually expressed in long sentences where entities are mentioned repetitively,which makes the annotation difficult and error-prone.Hence,we extend our model to incorporate a mention-insensitive mode that only requires annotations of relations on entity concepts(instead of exact mentions)while preserving most of its performance.Our mention-insensitive model performs better than the mention sensitive model when the random level in mention selection is higher than 0.3.Yixuan CAO Dian CHEN Zhengqi XU Hongwei LI Ping LUO 2021Frontiers of Computer Science2021,15,3:2
4Chromobox homolog 4 overexpression inhibits TNF-α-induced matrix catabolism and senescence by suppressing activation of NF-κB signaling pathway in nucleus pulposus cells显示文摘Intervertebral disc degeneration(IDD)is featured as enhanced catabolism of extracellular matrix(ECM)in the nucleus pulposus(NP),in which tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)-related cell senescence is involved.Chromobox homolog protein 4(CBX4)exhibits anti-inflammatory effects and shows promising therapeutic potential.Thus,in the present study,we explore the role of CBX4 in IDD.Immunohistochemistry staining reveals that CBX4 expression is decreased in severe degenerative NP tissues compared to mild degenerative tissues,and real-time PCR and western blot analysis results show that CBX4 expression is downregulated under TNF-αstimulation in NP cells.siRNA and adenoviruses are used to knockdown or overexpress CBX4,respectively.The results demonstrate that CBX4 knockdown augments the catabolism of ECM in human NP cells,while CBX4 overexpression in rat NP cells restores the ECM degradation induced by TNF-α,as illustrated by immunofluorescence and western blot analysis.In addition,transcriptome sequencing results reveal the regulatory effect of CBX4 on the cell cycle,and further western blot analysis and senescence-associatedβ-galactosidase staining assay indicate that CBX4 overexpression alleviates cell senescence in the presence of TNF-α.Moreover,the phosphorylation of p65,which indicates the activation of NF-κB signaling,is measured by western blot analysis and immunofluorescence assay,and the results reveal that CBX4 overexpression reduces the TNF-α-induced increase in the p-p65/p65 ratio.In addition,the effect of CBX4 overexpression in NP cells is suppressed by NF-κB agonist.In summary,our results indicate that CBX4 overexpression can suppress TNF-α-induced matrix catabolism and cell senescence in the NP by inhibiting NF-κB activation.This study may provide new approaches for preventing and treating IDD.Yangyang Zhang Shuangxing Li Junmin Hong Jiansen Yan Zhengqi Huang Jiajun Wu Zhihuai Deng Tianyu Qin Kang Xu Wei Ye 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,7:2

12Anchoring Single Nickel Atoms on Carbon-vacant Carbon Nitride Nanosheets for Efficient Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution显示文摘Polymeric carbon nitride(PCN)has emerged as a promising candidate for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution,but its dependence on scarce and high-cost noble metal co-catalysts severely limits its extensive application.It will be of great promise to develop non-noble metal single-atom co-catalysts with low-cost and high atom utilization to improve the photocatalytic performance over PCN.Herein,single Ni atoms are successfully anchored onto carbon-vacant PCN nanosheets(CCN-SANi)via a two-step ammonia thermal treatment and photo-deposition process.Theoretical calculations and experimental results demonstrate that the optical absorption property and the charge transfer ability of CCN-SANi have been significantly improved with the introduction of single Ni atoms to form Ni-N3 sites.In comparison to carbon-vacant PCN(CCN)loaded with Ni clusters,the obtained CCN-SANi exhibits 11.4 times increased photocatalytic performance,with the highest hydrogen evolution rate reaching 511μmol/(g·h),which is even 1.7 times higher than that of CCN loaded with Pt clusters.This research proposes an inspiring and reliable strategy to design novel single-atom semiconducting polymers with electronic structures manipulated for efficient photocatalysis.LIN Zhi ZHANG Zhengqi WANG Yiqing PENG Zhiming WANG Xinxin WANG Ruizhe HUANG Yu-Cheng MENG Fanqi LI Mingtao DONG Chung-Li ZHANG Qinghua GU Lin SHEN Shaohua 2022Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2022,38,5:1
