2A synergy establishment by metal-organic framework and carbon quantum dots to enhance electrochemical water oxidation显示文摘Available online Integrating transition metal centered MOFs with conductive materials is a feasible route to enhance electron transfer efficiency of materials.Herein,a composite porous structure CQDs_(10)@NiFe-MOF-A was fabricated via introducing carbon quantum dots(CQDs)into porous NiFe-MOF.The CQDs would make partial loss of lattice in MOF during its growth,leading to the composite building block with the coexistance of crystalline region and amorphous region.The calcining treatment would produce an ultrathin protective layer as well as some lattice collapse.The synergy effect between NiFe ions effectively regulated electronic structure of metal active sites,and successful grafting of CQDs to NiFe-MOF significantly improved electrical conductivity.As expected,the catalyst exhibited outstanding OER performances with high mass activity of 91.6 A/g at overpotential of 300 mV and robust durability of 10,000 cycles in 1 mol/L KOH,which outperformed that of noble catalyst IrO_(2)of 25.2 A/g.The strategy paves a feasible and effective avenue for the non-noble metal catalysts.Qiuxiang Mou Xuan Wang Zhenhang Xu Pnur Zul Erlei Li Pingping Zhao Xinghai Liu Houbin Li Gongzhen Cheng 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1:2

4Creep deformation behavior during densification of ZrB_(2)-SiBCN ceramics with ZrO_(2) additive显示文摘ZrB_(2)-SiBCN ceramics with ZrO_(2) additive are hot-pressed under a constant applied pressure.The densification behavior of the composites is studied in a view of creep deformation by means of the Bernard-Granger and Guizard model.With determination of the stress exponent(n)and the apparent activation energy(Q_(d)),the specific deformation mechanisms controlling densification are supposed.Within lower temperature ranges of 1300-1400℃,the operative mechanism is considered to be grain boundary sliding accommodated by atom diffusion of the polymer-derived SiBCN(n=1,Q_(d)=123±5 kJ/mol)and by viscous flow of the amorphous SiBCN(n=2,Qd=249±5 kJ/mol).At higher temperatures,the controlling mechanism transforms to lattice or intra-granular diffusion creep(n=3-5)due to gradual consumption of the amorphous phase.It is suggested that diffusion of oxygen ions inside ZrO_(2) into the amorphous SiBCN decreases the viscosity,modifies the fluidity,and contributes to the grain boundary mobility.Bo FENG Zhenhang WANG Yunhao FAN Jinghua GU Yue ZHANG 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,5:1

7Higher-order assemblies in immune signaling:supramolecular complexes and phase separation显示文摘Signaling pathways in innate and adaptive immunity play vital roles in pathogen recognition and the functions of immune cells.Higher-order assemblies have recently emerged as a central principle that governs immune signaling and,by extension,cellular communication in general.There are mainly two types of higher-order assemblies:1)ordered,solid-like large supramolecular complexes formed by stable and rigid protein-protein interactions,and 2)liquid-like phase-separated condensates formed by weaker and more dynamic intermolecular interactions.This review covers key examples of both types of higher-order assemblies in major immune pathways.By placing emphasis on the molecular structures of the examples provided,we discuss how their structural organization enables elegant mechanisms of signaling regulation.Shiyu Xia Zhenhang Chen Chen Shen Tian-Min Fu 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,9:1
