| 1 | Petrology,Geochemistry, and Sr-Nd-S Isotopic Compositions of the Ore-Hosting Biotite Monzodiorite in the Luanjiahe Gold Deposit,Jiaodong Peninsula,China显示文摘The Jiaodong Peninsula is one of the most important Au ore provinces in China. There is an ongoing debate on the correlation between ore formation and magmatism in this province, because few intrusive rocks exhibit a clear association with ore deposits.A mineralized biotite monzodiorite(BM)stock, with disseminated ore, pervasive phyllic alteration, and no deformation, was found in a borehole in the footwall of the Zhaoping fault within the Luanjiahe Au deposit, which may shed light on this debate. The biotite monzodiorite contains explosion breccias, miarolitic cavities, skeletal and den-dritic quartz, and late-stage evolved aplite dikes, and the in-situδ34S values of the disseminated pyrite which is associated with Au mineralization are-1.7‰ to 7.3‰(mean=3.5‰),indicative of a magmatic-hydrothermal system. These findings, combined with the reported age of 123 Ma,show that the intru-sion has close spatial, temporal, and geochemical relationships with Au mineralization in the area. The biotite monzodiorite is metaluminous,high-K calc-alkaline and shoshonitic, with enrichment in light rare earth elements(REEs)and large-ion lithophile elements(LILEs),depletion in high-field-strength elements(HFSEs),and enriched Sr-Nd isotopic compositions. The intrusion may be the product of par-tial melting of enriched lithospheric mantle with a small lower crustal component. The hydrous,Au-bearing,enriched mantle source, and the strongly oxidized magma that was generated, created fa-vorable conditions for Au mineralization. | Xiaofeng Yao Zhizhong Cheng Zezhong Du Zhenshan Pang Yuquan Yang Kun Liu | 2021 | Journal of Earth Science2021,32,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Geologic,Fluid Inclusion and Stable Isotope Constraints on Mechanisms of Ore Deposition at the Datuanshan Copper Deposit,Middle-Lower Yangtze Valley,Eastern China显示文摘The Datuanshan deposit is one of the largest and most representative stratabound copper deposits in the Tongling area, the largest ore district in the Middle-Lower Yangtze River metallogenic belt. The location of the orebodies is controlled by the interlayer-slipping faults between the Triassic and Permian strata, and all the orebodies are distributed in stratiform shape around the Mesozoic quartz monzodiorite dikes.Based on field evidence and petrographic observations, four mineralization stages in the Datuanshan deposit have been identified:the skarn, early quartz-sulfide,late quartzsulfide and carbonate stages.Chalcopytite is the main copper mineral and mainly formed at the late quartz-sulfide stage.Fluid inclusions at different stages were studied for petrography, microthermometry, laser Raman spectrometry and stable isotopes.Four types of fluid inclusions, including three-phase fluid inclusions(type 1),liquid-rich fluid inclusions(type 2),vapour-rich fluid inclusions(type 3) and pure vapour fluid inclusions(type 4),were observed. The minerals from the skarn, early and late quartz-sulfide stages contain all fluid inclusion types, but only type 2 fluid inclusions were observed at the carbonate stage.Petrographic observations suggest that most of the inclusions studied in this paper are likely primary. The coexistence of different types of fluid inclusions with contrasting homogenization characteristics(to the liquid and vapour phase, respectively) and similar homogenization temperatures(the modes are 440-480℃,380-400℃ and 280-320℃ for the skarn, early and late quartz-sulfide stages, respectively) in the first three stages, strongly suggests that three episodes of fluid boiling occurred during these stages, which is supported by the hydrogen isotope data.Laser Raman spectra identified CH_4 at the skarn and early quartz-sulfide stages.Combined with other geological features, the early ore-forming fluids were inferred to be under a relatively reduced environment. The CO_2 component has been identified at the late quartz-sulfide and carbonate stages, indicating that the late ore-forming fluids were under a relatively oxidized environment, probably as a result of inflow of and mixing with meteoric water. In addition, microthermometric results of fluid inclusions and H-O isotope data mdicate that the ore forming fluids were dominated by magmatic water in the early stages(skarn and early quartz-sulfide stages) and mixed with meteoric water in the late stages(late quartz-sulfide and carbonate stages). The evidence listed above suggests that the chalcopyrite deposition in the Datuanshan deposit probably resulted from the combination of multiepisode fluid boiling and mixing of magmatic and meteoric water. | CAO Yi DU Yangsong PANG Zhenshan DU Yilun KOU Shaolei CHEN Linjie GAO Fuping ZHOU Guibi | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3: | 2 |
| 3 | Resource prediction and assessment based on 3D/4D big data modeling and deep integration in key ore districts of North China显示文摘The North China district has been subjected to significant research with regard to the ore-forming dynamics, processes, and quantitative forecasting of gold deposits;it accounts for the highest number of gold reserves and annual products in China.Based on the top-level design of geoscience theory and the method adopted by the National Key R&D Project(deep process and metallogenic mechanism of North China Craton(NCC)metallogenic system),this paper systematically collects and constructs the geoscience data(district, camp, and deposit scales)in four key gold districts of North China(Jiaojia-Sanshandao,Southern Zhaoping,Wulong, and Qingchengzi). The settings associated with the geological dynamics of gold deposits were quantitatively and synthetically analyzed, namely:NCC destruction, metallogenic events, genetic models, and exploration models.Three-dimensional(3D)and four-dimensional(4D)geological modeling was performed using the big data on the districts, while the district-scale 3D exploration criteria were integrated to construct a quantitative exploration model.Among them,FLAC3D modelling and the Geo Cube software(version 3.0)were used to implement the numerical simulation of the 3D geological models and the constraints of the fluid saturation parameters of the Jiaojia fault to reconstruct the 4D fault structure models of the Jiaojia fault(with a depth of 5000 m).Using Geo Cube3.0,multiple integration modules(general weights of evidence(Wof E),Boost Wof E,Fuzzy Wof E,Logistic Regression,Information Entropy, and Random Forest)and exploration criteria were integrated, while the C-V fractal classification of A,B and C targets in four districts was carried out.The research results are summarized in the following four areas:(1)Four gold districts in the study area have more than three targets(the depth is 3000 m),and the class A,B and C targets exhibit a good spatial correlation with gold bodies that are controlled by mining engineering at depths greater than 1000 m.(2)The Boost Wof E method was used to identify the target optimization in 3D spaces(at depths of 3000–5000 m)of the Jiaojia-Sanshandao,Southern Zhaoping, and Wulong districts.(3)The general Wof E method is based on the Bayesian theory in 3D space and provides robust integration and target optimization that are suitable for the Jiaojia-Sanshandao and Southern Zhaoping districts in the Jiaodong area;it can also be applied to the Wulong district in the Liaodong area using a quantitative genetic model and an exploration model.Random forest is a multi-objective integration and target optimization method for 3D spaces, and it is suitable for the complex exploration model in the Qingchengzi district of the Liaodong area. The genetic model and exploration criteria associated with the exploration model of the Qingchengzi district were constrained by the common characteristics of the gold fault structure, magmatic rock emplacement in North China, and the strata fold and interlayer detachment structure.(4)Based on the gold reserves and the 3D block unit model of the Sanshandao gold deposit in the Jiaojia-Sanshandao district, the gold contents of the 3D block units in class A and B targets of the ore concentration were estimated to be 65.5%and 25.1%,respectively.The total Au resources of the optimized targets below a depth of 3000 m were 3908 t(including 1700 t reserves),and the total Au resources of the targets at depths from 3000 to 5000 m were 936 t.The study shows that the deep gold deposits in the four gold districts of North China exhibit a strong'transport-deposition'spatial correlation with potential targets.These'transport-deposition'spatial models represent the tectonic-magmatic-hydrothermal activities of the metallogenic system associated with the NCC destruction events and indicate the Au enrichment zones. | Gongwen WANG Zhiqiang ZHANG Ruixi LI Junjian LI Deming SHA Qingdong ZENG Zhenshan PANG Dapeng LI Leilei HUANG | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,9: | 1 |

| 5 | Geochronology and Geochemistry of Early Cretaceous A-type Granites in Central-Eastern Inner Mongolia,China:Implications for Late Mesozoic Tectonic Evolution of the Southern Great Xing'an Range显示文摘The southern Great Xing'an Range is the most critical Sn-polymetallic metallogenic belt in northeast China. However, the tectonic setting of the Early Cretaceous magmatic-metallogenic”flare-up“event remains uncertain. This paper presents an integrated study on the occurrence, petrology, zircon U-Pb ages,whole-rock geochemistry, and in situ zircon Hf isotopes for Wenduerchagan granites of Xi Ujimqin Banner,central-eastern Inner Mongolia. These granites consist primarily of granite porphyry(with ages of 137±1 Ma and 138±1 Ma)and(porphyritic)alkali feldspar granite(with an age of 141±2 Ma),corresponding to the early Early Cretaceous. They are A-type granites characterized by high silicon, alkali, and TFeO/MgO contents while being depleted of Ba,Nb,Ta,Sr,P,and Ti.They show right-dipping trend rare-earth element distribution characteristics with negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=0.01-0.20)and weak heavy rare-earth element fractionation((Gd/Yb)_(N)=0.77-2.30).They demonstrate homogeneous zircon Hf isotopic compositions(positiveε_(Hf)(t)values from+5.3 to+7.1 and young two-stage Hf model ages of 851-742 Ma)and high zircon saturation temperatures(av.810℃).These geochemical characteristics indicate that Wenduerchagan granites originated from the partial melting of juvenile crust under high-temperature and low-pressure conditions.Wenduerchagan granites most likely formed in a post-collisional compression-extension transition regime caused by the closure of the Mongol-Okhotsk Ocean, when combined with regional geology.Such a transition regime can probably be attributed to the upwelling of the asthenospheric mantle caused by the break-off of a subducted Mongol-Okhotsk oceanic slab.Upwelling asthenospheric mantle provided sufficient energy and favorable tectonic conditions for magmatism and mineralization of the Early Cretaceous. | ZHANG Yanwen ZHANG Xiaofei CHEN Lixin PANG Zhenshan CHEN Hui XUE Jianling ZHOU Yi TENG Chao CHEN Guochao | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,4: | 0 |
