Orthogonal-Gradient Measurement Matrix Construction Algorithm显示文摘An orthogonal-gradient measurement matrix construction algorithm is proposed for reducing the maximum and average mutual-coherence of sensing matrix. It shrinks Gram matrix based on equiangular tight frame theory. An orthogonal-gradient factor matrix is deduced. It obtains an optimized measurement matrix with the orthogonal-gradient factor matrix. The results of experiments show that the proposed algorithm effectively reduces the maximum and average mutual-coherence of sensing matrix. This leads to a better reconstruction performance for signals with different sparsities compared with Gaussian matrix, Elad's, Xu's, Vahid's and Li's methods. | TIAN Shujuan FAN Xiaoping LI Zhetao PAN Tian CHOI Youngjune SEKIYA Hiroo | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2016,25,1: | 5
Several Kinematic Data Processing Methods for Time-Correlated Observations显示文摘Time correlations always exist in modern geodetic data, and ignoring these time correlations will affect the precision and reliability of solutions. In this paper, several methods for processing kinematic time-correlated observations are studied.Firstly, the method for processing the time-correlated observations is expanded and unified.Based on the theory of maximum a posteriori estimation, the third idea is proposed after the decorrelation transformation and differential transformation. Two types of situations with and without common parameters are both investigated by using the decorrelation transformation, differential transformation and maximum a posteriori estimation solutions.Besides, the characteristics and equivalence of above three methods are studied.Secondly,in order to balance the computational efficiency in real applications and meantime effectively capture the time correlations, the corresponding reduced forms based on the autocorrelation function are deduced. Finally, with GPS real data, the correctness and practicability of derived formulae are evaluated. | Bofeng LI Zhetao ZHANG | 2019 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2019,2,4: | 4
Comparison and analysis of unmodelled errors in GPS and BeiDou signals显示文摘In Global Navigation Satellite Systems(GNSS) positioning, one often tries to establish a mathematic model to capture the systematic behaviors of observations as much as possible. However, the observation residuals still exhibit,to a great extent,as(somewhat systematic) signals.Nevertheless, those systematic variations are referred to as the unmodelled errors, which are difficult to be further modelled by setting up additional parameters.Different from the random errors, the unmodelled errors are colored and time correlated. In general, the larger the time correlations are,the more significant the unmodelled errors.Hence, understanding the time correlations of unmodelled errors is important to develop the theory for processing the unmodelled errors. In this study,we compare and analyze the time correlations caused by unmodelled errors of Global Positioning System(GPS) and BeiDou signals. The time correlations are estimated based on the residuals of double differenced observations on 11 baselines with different lengths. The results show that the time correlation patterns are different significantly between GPS and BeiDou observations.Besides, the code and phase data from the same satellite system are also not the same.Furthermore, the unmodelled errors are affected by not only the baseline length, but also some other factors. In addition,to make use of the time correlations with more efficiency,we propose to fit the time correlations by using exponent and quadratic models and the fitting coefficients are given. Finally, the sequential adjustment method considering the time correlations is implemented to compute the baseline solutions. The results show that the solutions considering the time correlations can objectively reflect the actual precisions of parameter estimates. | Zhetao Zhang Bofeng Li Yunzhong Shen | 2017 | Geodesy and Geodynamics2017,8,1: | 3

Block-Based Projection Matrix Design for Compressed Sensing显示文摘The objective of optimizing a projection matrix is to decrease the mutual coherence between a projection matrix and a basis matrix. In this paper, a novel block-based method is proposed to design a projection matrix in compressed sensing. Here, the projection matrix is divided into two blocks. The relationship between the two blocks was obtained by reasoning and proving. Theoretical analysis demonstrates that the mutual coherence between the whole projection matrix and the whole basis matrix keeps as good as the mutual coherence between the block matrix and blocked basis matrix. Experimental results show that the proposed method obtains better performance compared to existing methods. | LI Zhetao XIE Jingxiong ZHU Gengming PENG Xin XIE Yanrong CHOI Youngjune | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2016,25,3: | 2
A Delay-Aware Congestion Control Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks显示文摘In wireless sensor networks, congestion leads to buffer overflowing, and increases delay. The traditional solutions use rate adjustment to mitigate congestion, thus increasing the delay.A Delay-aware congestion control protocol(DACC)was presented to mitigate congestion and decrease delay. In order to improve the accuracy of the existing congestion detection model which is based on the buffer occupancy of a single node,DACC presents a new model considering both the real-time buffer occupancy and the average transmission time of packets.DACC uses the untapped bits in the IEEE 802.11 Distributed coordination function(DCF)frames header to carry congestion information.During the congestion alleviation period,DACC presents a channel occupancy mechanism which is based on the real-time buffer occupancy for the purpose of decreasing delay and preventing packet loss.Simulation results indicate that in terms of delay, packet delivery ratio, collision and buffer load,DACC has comparative advantages than those of 802.11 DCF,Priority-based congestion control protocol(PCCP)and Decoupling congestion control and fairness(DCCF). | PEI Tingrui LEI Fangqing LI Zhetao ZHU Gengming PENG Xin Youngjune CHOI Hiroo SEKIYA | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2017,26,3: | 2
Another Record: Ocean Warming Continues through 2021 despite La Nina Conditions显示文摘The increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere from human activities traps heat within the climate system and increases ocean heat content(OHC). Here, we provide the first analysis of recent OHC changes through 2021 from two international groups. The world ocean, in 2021, was the hottest ever recorded by humans, and the 2021 annual OHC value is even higher than last year’s record value by 14 ± 11 ZJ(1 zetta J = 1021 J) using the IAP/CAS dataset and by16 ± 10 ZJ using NCEI/NOAA dataset. The long-term ocean warming is larger in the Atlantic and Southern Oceans than in other regions and is mainly attributed, via climate model simulations, to an increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations. The year-to-year variation of OHC is primarily tied to the El Nino-Southern Oscillation(ENSO). In the seven maritime domains of the Indian, Tropical Atlantic, North Atlantic, Northwest Pacific, North Pacific, Southern oceans, and the Mediterranean Sea, robust warming is observed but with distinct inter-annual to decadal variability. Four out of seven domains showed record-high heat content in 2021. The anomalous global and regional ocean warming established in this study should be incorporated into climate risk assessments, adaptation, and mitigation. | Lijing CHENG John ABRAHAM Kevin ETRENBERTH John FASULLO Tim BOYER Michael EMANN Jiang ZHU Fan WANG Ricardo LOCARNINI Yuanlong LI Bin ZHANG Zhetao TAN Fujiang YU Liying WAN Xingrong CHEN Xiangzhou SONG Yulong LIU Franco RESEGHETTI Simona SIMONCELLI Viktor GOURETSKI Gengxin CHEN Alexey MISHONOV Jim REAGAN | 2022 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,3: | 1

Quality control for ocean observations: From present to future显示文摘The quality control(QC) of ocean observational data, essential to establish a high-quality global ocean database, is one of the basic data pre-processing steps in oceanography research, marine monitoring, and forecasting. With the introduction of various advanced instruments in recent decades, oceanographic surveys have expanded from coastal regions to open oceans. However, as ocean in-situ observations are obtained using different instruments that offer heterogeneous data qualities, it is paramount that bad data could be accurately and efficiently identified via QC to provide a reliable global ocean database. In this review, we briefly summarize the latest progress of QC for oceanic in-situ observations, and mainly focus on temperature and salinity data. The similarities and differences between QC schemes developed by various ocean organizations are introduced. We also discuss the performances of the various QC schemes and identify the key challenges. Based on the discussions, several recommendations are proposed for future improvements in the QC for ocean observations. | Zhetao TAN Bin ZHANG Xiaofen WU Mingmei DONG Lijing CHENG | 2022 | Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,2: | 1

Using UAV to Detect Truth for Clean Data Collection in Sensor⁃Cloud Systems显示文摘Mobile edge users(MEUs)collect data from sensor devices and report to cloud systems, which can facilitate numerous applications in sensor‑cloud systems(SCS).However, because there is no effective way to access the ground truth to verify the quality of sensing devices’data or MEUs’reports, malicious sensing devices or MEUs may report false data and cause damage to the platform. It is critical for selecting sensing devices and MEUs to report truthful data.To tackle this challenge,a novel scheme that uses unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV)to detect the truth of sensing devices and MEUs(UAV‑DT)is proposed to construct a clean data collection platform for SCS.In the UAV‑DT scheme, the UAV delivers check codes to sensor devices and requires them to provide routes to the specified destination node. Then, the UAV flies along the path that enables maximal truth detection and collects the information of the sensing devices forwarding data packets to the cloud during this period. The information collected by the UAV will be checked in two aspects to verify the credibility of the sensor devices. The first is to check whether there is an abnormality in the received and sent data packets of the sensing devices and an evaluation of the degree of trust is given;the second is to compare the data packets submitted by the sensing devices to MEUs with the data packets submitted by the MEUs to the platform to verify the credibility of MEUs.Then, based on the verified trust value,an incentive mechanism is proposed to select credible MEUs for data collection,so as to create a clean data collection sensor‑cloud network. The simulation results show that the proposed UAV‑DT scheme can identify the trust of sensing devices and MEUs well.As a result, the proportion of clean data collected is greatly improved. | LI Xiuxian LI Zhetao OUYANG Yan DUAN Haohua XIANG Liyao | 2021 | ZTE Communications2021,19,3: | 1

Cav3.2 channel regulates cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury:a promising target for intervention显示文摘Calcium influx into neurons triggers neuronal death during cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.Various calcium channels are involved in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.Cav3.2 channel is a main subtype of T-type calcium channels.T-type calcium channel blockers, such as pimozide and mibefradil, have been shown to prevent cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury-induced brain injury. However, the role of Cav3.2 channels in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury remains unclear. Here,in vitro and in vivo models of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury were established using middle cerebral artery occlusion in mice and high glucose hypoxia/reoxygenation exposure in primary hippocampal neurons. The results showed that Cav3.2 expression was significantly upregulated in injured hippocampal tissue and primary hippocampal neurons. We further established a Cav3.2 gene-knockout mouse model of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.Cav3.2 knockout markedly reduced infarct volume and brain water content, and alleviated neurological dysfunction after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.Additionally,Cav3.2 knockout attenuated cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury-induced oxidative stress, inflammatory response, and neuronal apoptosis. In the hippocampus of Cav3.2-knockout mice, calcineurin overexpression offset the beneficial effect of Cav3.2 knockout after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. These findings suggest that the neuroprotective function of Cav3.2 knockout is mediated by calcineurin/nuclear factor of activated T cells 3 signaling.Findings from this study suggest that Cav3.2 could be a promising target for treatment of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. | Feibiao Dai Chengyun Hu Xue Li Zhetao Zhang Hongtao Wang Wanjun Zhou Jiawu Wang Qingtian Geng Yongfei Dong Chaoliang Tang | 2024 | Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,11: | 0
AR-CNN:an attention ranking network for learning urban perception显示文摘An increasing number of deep learning methods is being applied to quantify the perception of urban environments, study the relationship between urban appearance and resident safety, and improve urban appearance. Most advanced methods extract image feature representations from street-level images through conventional visual computation algorithms or deep convolutional neural networks and then directly predict the results using features.Unfortunately, these methods take color and texture information together during processing.Color and texture are prime image features, and they affect human perception and judgment differently. We argue that color and texture should be operated differently;therefore,we formulate an end-to-end learning methodology to process input images according to color and texture information before inputting it into the neural network. The processed images and the original image constitute three input streams for the triad attention ranking convolutional neural network(AR-CNN)model proposed in this study. In accordance with the aspects of color and texture,an improved attention mechanism in the convolution layer is proposed. Our objective is to obtain the scores of humans on urban appearance in accordance with the prediction results computed from pairwise comparisons generated by the AR-CNN model. | Zhetao LI Ziwen CHEN Wei-Shi ZHENG Sangyoon OH Kien NGUYEN | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,1: | 0

Properties of multi‑GNSS uncalibrated phase delays with considering satellite systems, receiver types, and network scales显示文摘The Wide-Lane(WL)and Narrow-Lane(NL)Uncalibrated Phase Delays(UPDs)are the prerequisites in the traditional Precise Point Positioning(PPP)Ambiguity Resolution(AR).As the generation mechanism of various biases becomes more complex,we systematically studied the impact factors of four satellite systems WL and NL UPDs from the perspective of parameter estimation.Approximately 100 stations in a global network are used to generate the UPDs.The results of different satellite systems show that the estimation method, update frequency, and solution mode need to be treated differently. Two regional networks with different receiver types,JAVAD,and Trimble, are also adopted. The results indicate that the receiver-dependent bias has an influence on UPD estimation. Also, the hardware delays can inhibit the satellite-side UPDs if these receiver-specific errors are not fully deployed or even misused.Furthermore, the temporal stability and residual distribution of NL UPDs are significantly enhanced by utilizing a regional network, with the improvements by over 68%and 40%,respectively.It demonstrates that different network scales exhibit the different implication of unmodeled errors, and the unmodeled errors cannot be ignored and must be handled in UPD estimation. | Ping Zeng Zhetao Zhang Yuanlan Wen Xiufeng He Lina He Muzi Li Wu Chen | 2023 | Satellite Navigation2023,4,3: | 0
How Well Do CMIP6 and CMIP5 Models Simulate the Climatological Seasonal Variations in Ocean Salinity?显示文摘This paper includes a comprehensive assessment of 40 models from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase 5(CMIP5)and 33 models from the CMIP phase 6(CMIP6)to determine the climatological and seasonal variation of ocean salinity from the surface to 2000 m.The general pattern of the ocean salinity climatology can be simulated by both the CMIP5 and CMIP6 models from the surface to 2000-m depth. However, this study shows an increased fresh bias in the surface and subsurface salinity in the CMIP6 multimodel mean, with a global average of−0.44 g kg^(−1) for the sea surface salinity(SSS)and−0.26 g kg^(−1) for the 0-1000-m averaged salinity(S1000)compared with the CMIP5 multimodel mean(−0.25 g kg^(−1) for the SSS and−0.07 g kg^(−1) for the S1000).In terms of the seasonal variation, both CMIP6 and CMIP5 models show positive(negative)anomalies in the first(second)half of the year in the global average SSS and S1000.The model-simulated variation in SSS is consistent with the observations, but not for S1000,suggesting a substantial uncertainty in simulating and understanding the seasonal variation in subsurface salinity. The CMIP5 and CMIP6 models overestimate the magnitude of the seasonal variation of the SSS in the tropics in the region 20°S-20°N but underestimate the magnitude of the seasonal change in S1000 in the Atlantic and Indian oceans. These assessments show new features of the model errors in simulating ocean salinity and support further studies of the global hydrological cycle. | Yuanxin LIU Lijing CHENG Yuying PAN Zhetao TAN John ABRAHAM Bin ZHANG Jiang ZHU Junqiang SONG | 2022 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022,39,10: | 0
