| 1 | Studies of benzyl hydroxamic acid/calcium lignosulphonate addition order in the flotation separation of smithsonite from calcite显示文摘Flotation separation of smithsonite from calcite is difficult due to their similar surface properties.In the present study,a reagent scheme of depressant calcium lignosulphonate(CLS) and collector benzyl hydroxamic acid(BHA) was introduced in the flotation of smithsonite from calcite.Microflotation tests revealed that the efficient flotation of smithsonite from calcite could only be obtained with the addition order of BHA before CLS,which was opposite to the widely-used order that adding depressant prior to the collector.The zeta potential measurements indicated that BHA selectively adsorbed onto smithsonite surface,then not allowed the CLS adsorption onto the smithsonite surface rather than calcite surface because of the steric hindrance,thereby the smithsonite surface remained hydrophobic while calcite surface became more hydrophilic after the addition of CLS.As a result,the calcite flotation was completely depressed while the smithsonite flotation recovery was still in high value,leading to the optimal flotation separation performance. | Cheng Liu Yuhua Zhu Kaihua Huang Siyuan Yang Zhian Liang | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6: | 2 |
| 2 | Experimental study on methane dissolved in surfactant-alkane system显示文摘A surfactant-polyalkane system is investigated using chemical reagents to dissolve methane and control coal seam gas from low-energy,high-efficiency,safety,and environmental protection perspectives.At different temperatures and pressures,a high-temperature and high-pressure reactor,gas chromatograph,and other related experimental equipment were used to perform methane dissolution experiments,and a single surfactant sodium oleate(NaOA)and n-hexane demonstrated superior results.The single-factor experiments of temperature,pressure,and NaOA addition were performed and fitted via a response surface analysis.The optimal conditions for methane solubility were as follows:temperature of 34C,pressure of 4.5 MPa,NaOA addition of 85 g/L,and time of 1 h.The optimal effect of the surfactant-polyalkane system in dissolving methane was achieved with 32.31 mL/100 mL.Meanwhile,the change in the surface structure of coal before and after washing with the system was compared using scanning electron microscopy.The results indicated that the gas after washing with the surfactant-polyalkane system dissolved,and the surface pore structure of the coal changed.Moreover,the specific surface area and pore size of the coal surface increased after washing.Hence,the desorption of gas from the coal surface into the system becomes easy,thereby reducing the gas content in the coal sample. | Zhian Huang Mingli Chen Jingjing Wang Yinghua Zhang Linghua Zhang Hui Wang Yukun Gao Yupeng Zhou | 2020 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,6: | 2 |

| 6 | Structural regulation chemistry of lithium-ion solvation in nonflammable phosphate-based electrolytes for high interfacial compatibility with graphite anode显示文摘With the booming development of lithium-ion batteries,safety has become one of the most primary focuses of current researches.Although there are various approaches to enhance the safety of lithiumion batteries,phosphate-based electrolyte holds the greatest potential for practical application due to their non-flammability.Nonetheless,its compatibility issue with the graphite anode remains a significant obstacle to its widespread use.Herein,an effective method is proposed to improve the compatibility of electrolyte with graphite(Gr)anode by rationally adjusting the proportion of lithium salt and solvent components to optimize the Li^(+)solvation structure.By slightly increasing the Li^(+)/triethyl phosphate(TEP)ratio,TEP alone cannot fully occupy the inner solvation sheath and therefore less polar ethylene carbonate(EC)has to be recruited,and the solvation structure gradually changes from Li^(+)–[TEP]_(4)to Li^(+)–[TEP]_(3)[EC]with the coexistence of EC and TEP.Simultaneously,EC molecules in the Li^(+)–[TEP]_(3)[EC]could be preferentially reduced on graphite compared to the TEP molecules,resulting in the formation of a uniform and durable solid-electrolyte interphase(SEI)layer.Benefiting from the optimized phosphate-based electrolyte,the Gr|Li battery exhibits a capacity retention rate of 96.8%after stable cycling at 0.5 C for 470 cycles which shows a longer cycle life than the battery with carbonate electrolyte(cycling at 0.5 C for 450 cycles).Therefore,this work provides the guidance for designing a non-flammable phosphate-based electrolyte for high-safety and long cycling-life lithium-ion batteries. | Chenyang Shi Xinjing Huang Jiahao Gu Zeyu Huang Fangyan Liu Mengran Wang Qiyu Wang Bo Hong Zhian Zhang Jie Li Yanqing Lai | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,12: | 0 |

| 8 | Highly Anisotropic Magnetism and Nearly Isotropic Magnetocaloric Effect in Mn_(3)Sn_(2)Single Crystals显示文摘Mn_(3)Sn_(2)has been proposed as an ideal material for magnetic refrigeration.It undergoes two successive ferromagnetic transitions(T_(C1)=262 K and T_(C2)=227 K)and one antiferromagnetic transition(TN=192 K).Herein we report,for the first time,the preparation of single crystals of Mn_(3)Sn_(2)from Bi flux.The resultant anisotropic magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect are investigated along the three principal crystallographic directions of the crystal.Significant anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility and multiple field-induced metamagnetic transitions were found at low fields,whereas the magnetocaloric effect was found to be almost isotropic and larger than that of the polycrystalline one.The maximum magnetic entropy change amounts to-ΔSM=4.01 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1)near T_(C1)under a magnetic field change of μ_(0)ΔH=5 T along the c-axis,with the corresponding refrigerant capacity of 1750 mJ·cm^(-3).Combined with a much wider cooling temperature span(~80 K),our results demonstrate Mn_(3)Sn_(2)single crystal to be an attractive candidate working material for active magnetic refrigeration at low temperatures. | Jianli Bai Qingxin Dong Libo Zhang Qiaoyu Liu Jingwen Cheng Pinyu Liu Cundong Li Yingrui Sun Yu Huang Zhian Ren Genfu Chen | 2023 | Chinese Physics Letters2023,40,12: | 0 |
