1Recent Progress on Al_(2)O_(3)-C Refractories with Low/ultra-low Carbon Content:A Review显示文摘This work intends to provide a comprehensive review on the development of Al_(2)O_(3)-C refractories with low/ultra-low carbon content.It covers three parts:carbon materials,microstructure optimization of the refractory matrix by ceramic phases,and application of metal Al as raw material.Carbon black,expanded graphite,and ultrafine microcrystalline graphite,as price-competitive carbon materials,can be chosen to prepare the low-carbon Al_(2)O_(3)-C refractories after some special treatment.Ni/Co/Fe-catalyzed phenolic resin contributes to improving the properties of the low-carbon Al_(2)O_(3)-C refractories.The performance deterioration of the low-carbon Al_(2)O_(3)-C refractories can also be improved by in-situ formed or pre-synthesized ceramic phases.Metal Al,characterized by plasticity forming,acceleration of sintering,oxidation resistance,and high reactivity,can be used as raw materials to completely replace graphite,and the prepared resin bonded Al-Al_(2)O_(3)based refractories are one novel development direction of the ultra-low carbon Al_(2)O_(3)-C refractories.ZHAO Chenrui YAN Mingwei LI Hongyu NIU Zhiwang LIANG Baoqing SHANG Junli 2022China's Refractories2022,31,1:4
2Multi-kernel dictionary learning for classifying maize varieties显示文摘The automatic classification and identification of maize varieties is one of the important research contents in agriculture.A multi-kernel maize varieties classification approach was proposed in this paper in order to improve the recognition rate of maize varieties.In this approach,four kinds of maize varieties were selected,in each variety 200 grains were selected randomly as the samples,and in each sample 160 grains were taken as the training samples randomly;the characteristics of maize grain were extracted as the typical characteristics to distinguish maize varieties,by which the dictionary required by K-SVD was constructed;for the test samples,the feature-matrixes were extracted by dimension reduction method which were mapped to the high-dimension space by muti-kernel function mapping.The high-dimension characteristic matrixes were trained by K-SVD method and the corresponding feature dictionary was obtained respectively.Finally,the test samples representing were trained and classified by l2,1 minimization sparse coefficient.The experiment results showed that recognition rate was improved obviously through this approach,and the poor-effect to maize variety identification from partial occlusion can be eliminated effectively.Hua Zhu Jun Yue Zhenbo Li Zhiwang Zhang 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,3:1
3An alternative construction of normalized seismic design spectra for near-fault regions显示文摘This paper presents a methodology for constructing seismic design spectra in near-fault regions.By analyzing the characteristics of near-fault pulse-type ground motions,an equivalent pulse model is proposed,which can well represent the characteristics of the near-fault forward-directivity and fling-step pulse-type ground motions.The normalized horizontal seismic design spectra for near-fault regions are presented using recorded near-fault pulse-type ground motions and equivalent pulse-type ground motions,which are derived based on the equivalent pulse model coupled with ground motion parameter attenuation relations.The normalized vertical seismic design spectra for near-fault regions are obtained by scaling the corresponding horizontal spectra with the vertical-to-horizontal acceleration spectral ratios of near-fault pulse-type ground motions.The proposed seismic design spectra appear to have relatively small dispersion in a statistical sense.The seismic design spectra for both horizontal and vertical directions can provide alternative spectral shapes for seismic design codes.Ni Shunhao Li Shuang Chang Zhiwang Xie Lili 2013Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2013,12,3:1

6Hsa_circ_0036740 in familial adenomatous polyposis:Immune regulation and neutrophil effects in CRC based on highthroughput assay显示文摘Familial adenomatous polyposis(FAP)is an autosomal dominant disease with a high probability of becoming cancerous.Many RNAs potentially associated with FAP have not been identified.In this study,a circRNA(circular RNA)expression profile of FAP was established using a circRNA microarray,and differentially expressed circRNAs were verified by RT-qPCR.The effects of hsa_circ_0036740 on the malignant behavior of tumor cells(proliferation,apoptosis,and epithelial mesenchymal transition)and the levels of C3A complement protein expression were evaluated.Moreover,neutrophils were isolated and co-cultured with colorectal cancer cells(CRCs),followed by measurements of MPO-DNA,citrullinated histone H3,interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6,and IL-8 levels.Nuclear translocation of arginine deiminase 4(PAD4)was observed using immunofluorescence assays.Based on the high-throughput assay,238 downregulated circRNAs,and 38 upregulated circRNAs were identified.A Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analysis suggested that immune regulation might be involved in FAP.A total of 10 DECs(differentially expressed circular RNAs)were identified by RT-qPCR,and among them,hsa_circ_0036740 showed the highest fold-change in upregulation.Results of gain-of-and loss-of-function studies revealed that hsa_circ_0036740 enhanced the malignant behavior of tumor cells,such as metastasis,proliferation,and apoptosis,with an increasing level of C3A complement.Moreover,hsa_circ_0036740 also significantly increased neutrophil extracellular trap formation and inflammation in neutrophils,as shown by an increased expression of PAD4.In conclusion,this study revealed the expression profiles of circRNAs in FAP and confirmed the possible involvement of hsa_circ_0036740 in the immune regulation mediated by neutrophils.Finally,hsa_circ_0036740 was suggested as a new therapeutic target for CRC.ZHIWANG LI HAN YU YUPING LIU WEISHENG WU HAIJING ZENG EN LI 2023BIOCELL2023,47,11:0
7Visible-Light Photocatalytic and Photo-bactericidal Activity of Ni-CuWO_(4)/OTiO_(2) Composite显示文摘A series of nickel-doped copper tungstate/oxygen-rich TiO_(2) heterojunction-constructed composites of xNi-CuWO_(4)/OTiO_(2) were successfully prepared to demonstrate the enhancement of the visible-light photoactivity through promoting the photogenerated charge carrier separation efficiency.Of all these composites,0.2Ni-CuWO_(4)/OTiO_(2) exhibits excellent and stable visible light photoactivity for the photooxidative coupling of benzylamine to the corresponding N-benzyl-1-phenymethanimine(BPMI)in air atmosphere.The conversion of benzylamine and the selectivity to BPMI reach 97%and 99%,respectively.The catalyst shows good cyclability with the conversion of benzylamine decreasing just by 22%after being repeated six times with the well-maintained selectivity of BPMI.The composite also exhibits excellent photo-bactericidal ability,which greatly inhibits the reproducing of both the Gram-positive bacteria(e.g.,S.epidermidis)and Gram-negative bacteria(e.g.,E.coli).Shuangyan Meng Li Li Hui Xi Jing Yang Ting Xiao Rui Zuo Xueqing Xu Ziqiang Lei Zhiwang Yang Qunji Xue 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,22:0

9Dietary calcium supplementation promotes the accumulation of intramuscular fat显示文摘Background:In the livestock industry,intramuscular fat content is a key factor affecting meat quality.Many studies have shown that dietary calcium supplementation is closely related to lipid metabolism.However,few studies have examined the relationship between dietary calcium supplementation and intramuscular fat accumulation.Methods:Here,we used C2C12 cells,C57BL/6 mice(n=8)and three-way cross-breeding pigs(Duroc×Landrace×Large white)(n=10)to study the effect of calcium addition on intramuscular fat accumulation.In vitro,we used calcium chloride to adjust the calcium levels in the medium(2 mmol/L or 3 mmol/L).Then we measured various indicators.In vivo,calcium carbonate was used to regulate calcium levels in feeds(Mice:0.5%calcium or 1.2%calcium)(Pigs:0.9%calcium or 1.5%calcium).Then we tested the mice gastrocnemius muscle triglyceride content,pig longissimus dorsi muscle meat quality and lipidomics.Results:In vitro,calcium addition(3 mmol/L)had no significant effect on cell proliferation,but promoted the differentiation of C2C12 cells into slow-twitch fibers.Calcium supplementation increased triglyceride accumulation in C2C12 cells.Calcium addition increased the number of mitochondria and also increased the calcium level in the mitochondria and reduced the of key enzymes activity involved inβ-oxidation such as acyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase.Decreasing mitochondrial calcium level can alleviate lipid accumulation induced by calcium addition.In addition,calcium addition also reduced the glycolytic capacity and glycolytic conversion rate of C2C12 cells.In vivo,dietary calcium supplementation(1.2%)promoted the accumulation of triglycerides in the gastrocnemius muscle of mice.Dietary calcium supplementation(1.5%)had no effect on pig weight,but significantly improved the flesh color of the longissimus dorsi muscle,reduced the backfat thickness and increased intramuscular fat content in pigs.Besides,calcium addition had no effect on longissimus dorsi pH,electrical conductivity and shear force.Conclusions:These results suggest that calcium addition promotes intramuscular fat accumulation by inhibiting the oxidation of fatty acids.These findings provide a new tool for increasing intramuscular fat content and an economical strategy for improving meat quality.Zhiwang Zhang Tingli Pan Yu Sun Siqi Liu Ziyi Song Haojie Zhang Yixing Li Lei Zhou 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,2:0
10An efficient CuZr-based metallic glasses electrode material for electrocatalytic degradation of azo dyes显示文摘Metallic glasses have received a lot of attention on wastewater treatment due to their unique atomic structure,and the use of metallic glasses as electrodes has produced unexpected electrocatalytic degradation effects for many pollutants through combining with electrochemical technology.However,it still is a formidable challenge to find a metallic glass electrode material with both efficient and clean for the catalytic degradation of pollutants.In this work,the Cu_(55)Zr_(45)metallic glassy ribbons are used as an electrode to degrade azo dyes and show the excellent degradation effect,which can reach 95.6%within 40 min.In the degradation process,almost no additives are produced and Cu_(55)Zr_(45)metallic glassy ribbons have excellent effects under different pH conditions.Meanwhile,it exhibits good stability for degradation efficiency during the 8 cycle degradation tests of the amorphous alloy electrode.When the copper nanoparticles are exposed on the surface of the ribbons,the oxidized copper obtained synergistically produce activated radicals is the primary degradation mechanism,where the auxiliary degradation mechanisms include electron transfer and the promotion of active chlorine.This research develops a new type of electrode material for wastewater treatment,and the economy and high efficiency of Cu55Zr45metallic glass endow it the expandable functional applications.Zhiwang Deng Bowen Zhao Songtao Li Zhengkun Li Shiming Zhang Kewei Zhang Zhengwang Zhu 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0
11Sensory innervation of the anterior eye segment in rats: aretrograde tracing study显示文摘This study aimed to investigate the sensory innervation of the anterior eye segment in rats by retrograde tracing with 1,1-dioleyl-3,3,3,3-tetrameth-ylindocarbocyanine,4-chlorobenesulfonate(FAST Dil)injected into the anterior chamber.The sensory innervation of distinct elements of the anterior segment of the rat’s eye,i.e.the cornea,ciliary body,iris,and trabecular meshwork,were studied by retrograde tracing using FAST Dil as a tracer.FAST Dil was injected into the anterior chambers of the rat’s eyes.The animals were sacrificed at different time points,i.e.,2,3,4,and 5 days after the injection.FAST Dil localization in trigeminal ganglions was studied with afluorescent microscope.Two days after FAST Dil injection into the anterior chambers,the cornea,the ciliary body,the iris,and the trabecular meshwork were heavily labeled.Neurons in the ipsilateral trigeminal ganglion were also consistently labeled.The number of labeled cells increased over time until 4 days after FAST Dil injection.FAST Dil-labeled neurons could be divided into two parts.Most of the Dil-labeled neurons were concentrated in a sharp,longitudinal,spindle-like stripe,located in the dorso-medial side of the trigeminal ganglion,approximately two thirds of the dorsal portion.The other part of Dil-labeled neurons scattered laterally to the stripe,but just in one third of the dorsal region.Thus,with our preliminary results,we conclude that the primary afferent sensory neurons innervating the rat’s anterior eye segments aggregate in the dorso-medial part of the ipsilateral trigeminal ganglion.It is feasible to identify them using retrograde tracing with FAST Dil anterior chamber injection.Haixia LIU Zhiwang LI Min YANG Xiang TIAN Lei PEI Chaoying LI 2009Frontiers of Medicine2009,3,3:0
12脑星形细胞肿瘤中FAK、Pyk2表达及其与血管生成的关系(英文)显示文摘Objective: To study the expressions of FAK and Pyk2 in human astrocytic tumors and their relationship with an-giogenesis. Methods: The S-P immunohistochemical method was used to measure the expressions of FAK, Pyk2 and VEGF proteins in 58 human brain astrocytic tumors, and microvessel density (MVD) was detected by CD31 staining. Results: In astrocytic tumors with I, II, III and IV grades, the positive rates of FAK were 20.00%, 26.67%, 44.44% and 50.00%, respec-tively, those of Pyk2 were 40.00%, 60.00%, 77.78% and 85.00%, respectively. FAK and Pyk2 expressions, especially Pyk2, correlated positively with VEGF expression and MVD. 13Water-cut rising mechanism and optimized water injection technology for deepwater turbidite sandstone oilfield: A case study of AKPO Oilfield in Niger Delta Basin, West Africa显示文摘Through the analysis of the reservoir connection relationship and the water-cut rising rules after water breakthrough in the highly volatile oil AKPO oilfield, a new model of water-cut rising was established, and the timing and strategy of water injection were put forward. The water-cut rising shapes of producers after water breakthrough can be divided into three types, and their water-cut rising mechanism is mainly controlled by reservoir connectivity. For the producers which directly connect with injectors in the single-phase sand body of the single-phase channel or lobe with good reservoir connectivity, the water-cut rising curve is 'sub-convex'. For the producers which connect with injectors through sand bodies developed in multi-phases with good inner sand connectivity but poorer physical property and connectivity at the overlapping parts of sands, the response to water injection is slow and the water-cut rising curve is 'sub-concave'. For the producers which connect with injectors through multi-phase sand bodies with reservoir physical properties, connectivity in between the former two and characteristics of both direct connection and overlapping connection, the response to water injection is slightly slower and the water-cut rising curve is 'sub-S'. Based on ratio relationship of oil and water relative permeability, a new model of water cut rising was established. Through the fitting analysis of actual production data, the optimal timing and corresponding technology for water injection after water breakthrough were put forward. Composite channel and lobe reservoirs can adopt water injection strategies concentrating on improving the vertical sweep efficiency and areal sweep efficiency respectively. 14Surface-rare-earth-rich upconversion nanoparticles induced by heterovalent cation exchange with superior loading capacity显示文摘Surface modification of different functional molecules onto NaREF_(4)(RE=rare earth)upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)impart their multiple functionalities.Functional molecules can be loaded onto NaREF_(4) UCNPs through the formation of coordination bonds between the surface-exposed RE^(3+) ions and the appropriate chemical groups of functional molecules.The density of surface RE^(3+) ions directly determines the loading efficiency of Na REF4 UCNPs.However,NaREF_(4) is a binary cation system,rendering the surface-distributed Na;and RE^(3+) ions remains a mystery.Here,we develop an effective strategy to significantly enhance the density of surface RE^(3+) ions,thus maximizing the loading capacity of NaREF_(4) UCNPs.This strategy is based on a heterovalent cation exchange(HCE)reaction in the surface region in which Na^(+)ions are replaced by RE^(3+) ions.The density of surface ligands enhances from 3.6 to 8.8 molecules/nm^(2) after reaction,suggesting that the loading efficiency increases by approximately 150%.Benefiting from the improved loading capacity,we demonstrate such surface-RE-rich nanoparticles have the ability to offer higher colloidal stability and more desirable photodynamic therapy(PDT)efficacy.This work not only advances our understanding of cation exchange reactions in RE-based nanoparticles,but also provides significant value for considerable applications such as sensing,bioimaging,and therapy.Meifeng Wang Yiru Qin Wei Shao ZhiWang Cai Xiaoyu Zhao Yongjun Hu Tao Zhang Sheng Li Mark T.Swihart Yang Liu Wei Wei 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,2:0
