1Mid-infrared optical frequency comb in the 2.7-4.0μm range via difference frequency generation from a compact laser system显示文摘We report on the generation of a mid-infrared(mid-IR)frequency comb with a maximum average output power of250 mW and tunability in the 2.7-4.0μm region.The approach is based on a single-stage difference frequency generation(DFG)starting from a compact Yb-doped fiber laser system.The repetition rate of the near-infrared(NIR)comb is locked at 75 MHz.The phase noise of the repetition rate in the offset-free mid-IR comb system is measured and analyzed.Except for the intrinsic of NIR comb,environmental noise at low frequency and quantum noise at high frequency from the amplifier chain and nonlinear spectral broadening are the main noise sources of broadening the linewidth of comb teeth,which limits the precision of mid-IR dual-comb spectroscopy.Lian Zhou Yang Liu Gehui Xie Chenglin Gu Zejiang Deng Zhiwei Zhu Cheng Ouyang Zhong Zuo Daping Luo Bin Wu Kunfeng Chen Wenxue Li 2020High Power Laser Science and Engineering2020,8,4:1

4Modelling of cantilever bank failure for peat-type meander bends in the source region of the Yellow River显示文摘Bank retreat involving a combination of fluvial erosion and bank collapse has been found to be a major contributor to sediment transport,lateral migration,and planform evolution of meandering rivers.Previous studies have largely examined the general mechanism of cantilever bank failure.However,the composite process of beam(toppling)failure caused by shear failure of the lower part composed of noncohesive soil remains poorly understood.The current paper investigates the diversity and coupling of this collapse process,which is the dominant pattern in the peat-type meandering rivers of the Zoige River basin in the source region of the Yellow River.For this purpose,morphologic and hydraulic measurements were done in the summers of 2016 and 2017.Moreover,a combined method of a theoretical model and numerical simulation was developed to be applied for a continuous meandering channel in the Zoige basin,focusing in particular on five typical cross sections of a highly convoluted bend approaching neck cutoff.Specifically,the theoretical model evaluating the stability of overhanging riverbank was based on static equilibrium theory considering the interaction between composite soil layers.In addition,the Bank Stability and Toe Erosion Model was used to simulate the retreat process of the silt layer based on field measurements including bank morphology,soil composition,and hydrological parameters.Thus,a calculation method for the occurrence of cantilever beam failure in the flood period is proposed,and temporal change and spatial variability in bank profiles caused by three consecutive failures is estimated at the five sections.Satisfactory results showed a relatively close agreement between the calculations and field measurements in terms of the width of the overhanging arms and the dimensions of the slump blocks.Hanyuan Yang Zhiwei Li Yongjun Lu Huaixiang Liu Liqin Zuo 2023International Journal of Sediment Research2023,38,3:0
5Banana-shaped electron acceptors with an electron-rich core fragment and 3D packing capability显示文摘The emergence of Y6-type nonfullerene acceptors has greatly enhanced the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of organic solar cells(OSCs).However,which structural feature is responsible for the excellent photovoltaic performance is still under debate.In this study,two Y6-like acceptors BDOTP-1 and BDOTP-2 were designed.Different from previous Y6-type acceptors featuring an A–D–Aʹ–D–A structure,BDOTP-1,and BDOTP-2 have no electron-deficient Aʹfragment in the core unit.Instead,there is an electron-rich dibenzodioxine fragment in the core.Although this modification leads to a marked change in the molecular dipole moment,electrostatic potential,frontier orbitals,and energy levels,BDOTP acceptors retain similar three-dimensional packing capability as Y6-type acceptors due to the similar banana-shaped molecular configuration.BDOTP acceptors show good performance in OSCs.High PCEs of up to 18.51%(certified 17.9%)are achieved.This study suggests that the banana-shaped configuration instead of the A–D–Aʹ–D–A structure is likely to be the determining factor in realizing high photovoltaic performance.Pengqi Li Xianyi Meng Ke Jin Zhiwei Xu Jianqi Zhang Lixiu Zhang Chuang Niu Furui Tan Chenyi Yi Zuo Xiao Yaqing Feng Guan-Wu Wang Liming Ding 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,1:0
