| 1 | RGB WGM lasing woven in fiber braiding cavity显示文摘It is critical to realize woven and wearable red-green-blue(RGB) whispering gallery mode(WGM)lasing that is tunable and flexible in the fiber braiding cavity. However, it is still a challenge to achieve tunable full-color lasing with the large color gamut by a facile approach. Here, we design the braiding cavity to realize RGB WGM lasing with high performance. The braiding cavity consists of three optical fibers coated with dye-doped polymer. Each fiber therein serves as a resonant cavity to support multiple lasing modes. There is no interference owing to the air gap between them;therefore, we can achieve full-color WGM lasing. | 2 | Construction of hierarchical FeNi_(3)@(Fe,Ni)S_(2) core-shell heterojunctions for advanced oxygen evolution显示文摘The investigation of earth-abundant electrocatalysts for efficient water electrolysis is of central importance in renewable energy system, which is currently impeded by the large overpotential of oxygen evolution reaction (OER). NiFe sulfides show promising OER activity but are troubled by their low intrinsic conductivities. Herein, we demonstrate the construction of the porous core-shell heterojunctions of FeNi3@(Fe,Ni)S_(2) with tunable shell thickness via the reduction of hierarchical NiFe(OH)x nanosheets followed by a partial sulfidization. The conductive FeNi3 core provides the highway for electron transport, and the (Fe,Ni)S_(2) shell offers the exposed surface for in situ generation of S-doped NiFe-oxyhydroxides with high intrinsic OER activity, which is supported by the combined experimental and theoretical studies. In addition, the porous hierarchical morphology favors the electrolyte access and O_(2) liberation. Consequently, the optimized catalyst achieves an excellent OER performance with a low overpotential of 288 mV at 100 mA·cm^(−2), a small Tafel slope of 48 mV·dec^(−1), and a high OER durability for at least 1,200 h at 200 mA·cm^(−2). | 3 | Cosmogenic^(10)Be dating of the oldest moraine in the Hengduan Mountains显示文摘The Hengduan Mountains is in the transitional zone between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP)and the YunnanGuizhou Plateau in China,and a key area for elucidating the Quaternary environmental changes in Asia.The paleo-Daocheng ice cap was located on the Shaluli Hilly Plateau in the northeastern Hengduan Mountains,the oldest moraines in the Hengduan Mountains region were found in the ice cap area.Such glacial landforms provide key evidence to study the timing when this area entered the cryosphere with the uplift of the QTP.However,it is difficult to collect suitable glacial boulders from these moraines for traditional terrestrial in-situ cosmogenic nuclide(TCN)exposure dating because of long-term severe moraine degradation.Here,we collected clast samples from the moraine surface and depth profile to constrain the age of the oldest moraine in Kuzhaori(moraine E)using TCN^(10)Be dating technique.The minimum^(10)Be ages of five clast samples from the moraine surface range from 187.4±1.5 to 576.8±4.3 ka,implying that the moraine has been seriously degraded since deposition.Based on the TCN^(10)Be concentrations of the samples from a depth profile and simulations,the exposure-erosion-inheritance history of the profile was obtained.By fitting to the profile^(10)Be concentrations using the chi-square test,the simulations yielded a reliable age of 626.0±52.5 ka for the moraine.Therefore,the oldest moraine(moraine E)in Kuzhaori was most likely formed at about 0.63Ma ago,corresponding to the marine isotope stage(MIS)16.This glaciation represents the maximum Quaternary glaciation after the QTP was elevated into the cryosphere by the Kunlun-Yellow River Tectonic Movement. | Zhigang ZHANG Jiahong ZHENG Haitao CUI Zhijun ZHAO Xinggong KONG Chaogang ZHENG Hong ZHANG Fei GUO Zhiyang CHANG Xue YUAN Mingyang YAN Jie ZHANG Jian WANG | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,10: | 0 |

| 5 | Evidence of Glacial Erratic Rollover Revealed by ^(10)Be and ^(26)Al Concentration Variations显示文摘Cosmogenic nuclide exposure dating is one of the most intensively applied dating methods with which to study glacial geomorphology.Glacial erratics have been the major dating objective in many studies.Some research has proposed that glacial erratics may undergo rollover and re-transportation during the late exposure stage,which can affect the dating results.However,there is no direct evidence to confirm this possibility.In this study,we collected seven samples from a vertical section inside a glacial erratic in the paleo-Daocheng ice cap in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau,measuring their contents of the cosmogenic nuclides ^(10)Be and ^(26)Al.The results show that from the top to the bottom,the concentrations of 10Be were(1.21±0.05)×10^(6),(1.00±0.02)×10^(6),(0.88±0.03)×10^(6),(0.77±0.02)×10^(6),(0.75±0.03)×10^(6),(0.95±0.03)×10^(6) and(1.46±0.04)×10^(6) atoms/g.The ^(10)Be concentrations decreased from(1.21±0.05)×10^(6) atoms/g to(0.75±0.03)×10^(6) atoms/g and then increased to(1.46±0.04)×10^(6) atoms/g,which is not consistent with the theoretical prediction of a gradual decrease.This phenomenon indicates that the glacial erratic may have rolled over at least once.The lower surface of the erratic could have been on top at some time in the past.Therefore,its exposure age was greater than the exposure age that was expected,based on its current orientation.This study provides numerical evidence for an erratic rollover event. | ZHANG Zhigang WANG Jian XU Xiaobin CHANG Zhiyang CUI Haitao LIANG Zhong CHEN Xia SHANG Zhiyuan | 2022 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,1: | 0 |
| 6 | Insights into the size effect of ZnCr_(2)O_(4)spinel oxide in composite catalysts for conversion of syngas to aromatics显示文摘Direct conversion of syngas to aromatics(STA)over oxide-zeolite composite catalysts is promising as an alternative method for aromatics production.However,the structural effect of the oxide component in composite catalysts is still ambiguous.Herein,we investigate the size effect by selecting ZnCr_(2)O_(4)spinel,as a probe oxide,mixing with H-ZSM-5 zeolite as a composite catalyst for STA reaction.The CO conversion,aromatics selectivity and space-time yield(STY)of aromatics are all significantly improved with the crystal size of ZnCr_(2)O_(4)oxide decreases,which can mainly attribute to the higher oxygen vacancy concentration and thus the rapid generation of more C1oxygenated intermediate species.Based on the understanding of the size-performance relationship,ZnCr_(2)O_(4)-400 with a smaller size mixing with H-ZSM-5 can achieve32.6%CO conversion with 76%aromatics selectivity.The STY of aromatics reaches as high as 4.79 mmol g_(cat)^(-1)h^(-1),which outperforms the previously reported some typical catalysts.This study elucidates the importance of regulating the size of oxide to design more efficient oxidezeolite composite catalysts for conversion of syngas to value-added chemicals. | Yi Fu Youming Ni Wenhao Cui Xudong Fang Zhiyang Chen Zhaopeng Liu Wenliang Zhu Zhongmin Liu | 2023 | Green Energy & Environment2023,8,2: | 0 |
