| 1 | Fission-track-age records of the Mesozoic tectonic-events in the southwest margin of the Ordos Basin, China显示文摘Based on the analysis of apatite and zircon fission track (FT), the FT age distribution and the peck-ages of the Mesozoic tectonic events in the southwest margin of the Ordos Basin (OB) were discussed. (1) The early event mainly occurred at 213-194 Ma with a peck-age of 205 Ma, and corresponded to the tectonic uplift and the mega-clastic deposit in the southwest OB during the Late Triassic. (2) The middle event included at least two episodes. One was at 165-141 Ma with a peck-age of 150 Ma, and the other was at 115-113 Ma with a peck-age of 114 Ma, corresponding to the over-thrusting and the mega- clastic deposits in the southwest OB during the Late Jurassic to the Early Cretaceous. (3) The late event mainly demonstrated the regional uplifting and included at least two episodes. One was at 100-81 Ma with a peck-age of 90 Ma, and the other was at 66-59 Ma with a peck-age of 63 Ma. | 2 | Effect of kidney-reinforcing,blood-activating and stasis-removing recipes on adhesion molecule expression of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells from chronic aplastic anemia patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of kidney-reinforcing,blood-activating and stasis-removing recipes on adhesion molecule expression of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) from patients with chronic aplastic anemia(CAA).METHODS:We used threeTraditional Chinese Medicine recipes,namely a kidney-reinforcing recipe(KRR),blood-activating and stasis-removing recipe(BASRR),and kidney-reinforcing,blood-activating and stasis-removing recipe(KRBASRR),and a normal saline control to prepare herbal medicine serum in Sprague Dawley rats.Thirty CAA patients were enrolled in the experimental group,including 17 kidney-Yang deficient patients and 13 kidney-Yin deficient patients.Ten healthy individuals were included in the control group.MSCs were isolated from bone marrow samples,and the cell density was observed to measure their proliferation ability by microscopy on days 2,7,and 14 after isolation.In addition,the expression of adhesion molecules of bone marrow MSCs(CD106,CD49d,CD31 and CD44) were detected by flow cytometry after 48 h of treatment with the four different herbal medicine serums.RESULTS:The proliferation of MSCs from kidney-Yang deficient and kidney-Yin deficient patients was weaker than that of MSCs from the control group.The expression of all adhesion molecules of bone marrow MSCs from CAA patients was obviously lower than that in the control group(P< 0.01).The expression of CD49d and CD31 in MSCs from patients with a kidney-Yin deficiency was lower than in those with a kidney-yang deficiency(P< 0.05 and P<0.01,respectively).For kidney-Yang deficient patients,CD31 expression in the KRBASRR group was significantly higher than that in the BASRR group(P<0.01),while CD44 in the KRBASRR group was significantly higher than that in both KRR and BASRR groups(P<0.01).For kidney-Yin deficient patients,CD106 and CD49d expression in the KRBASRR group was obviously higher than that in the KRR group(P<0.05),while CD31 and CD44 expression in the KRBASRR group was significantly higher than that in both KRR and BASRR groups(P< 0.05 and P<0.01,respectively).CONCLUSION:The bone marrow microenvironment in CAA patients is abnormal.The effect of KRBASRR may be better than that of KRR and BASRR for kidney-Yang deficient and kidney-Yin deficient patients by improving the expression levels of MSC adhesion molecules. | Baodong Ye Dan Chen Dijiong Wu Xiangping Wu Xiang Zhang Yuhong Zhou Yiping Shen Keding Shao Qinhong Yu | 2012 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4: | 12 |

| 4 | Arbitrary polarization conversion dichroism metasurfaces for all-in-one full Poincare sphere polarizers显示文摘The control of polarization,an essential property of light,is of broad scientific and technological interest.Polarizers are indispensable optical elements for direct polarization generation.However,arbitrary polarization generation,except that of common linear and circular polarization,relies heavily on bulky optical components such as cascading linear polarizers and waveplates.Here,we present an effective strategy for designing all-in-one full Poincare sphere polarizers based on perfect arbitrary polarization conversion dichroism and implement it in a monolayer all-dielectric metasurface.This strategy allows preferential transmission and conversion of one polarization state located at an arbitrary position on the Poincare sphere to its handedness-flipped state while completely blocking its orthogonal state.In contrast to previous methods that were limited to only linear or circular polarization,our method manifests perfect dichroism of nearly 100%in theory and greater than 90%experimentally for arbitrary polarization states.By leveraging this attractive dichroism,our demonstration of the generation of polarization beams located at an arbitrary position on a Poincare sphere directly from unpolarized light can substantially extend the scope of meta-optics and dramatically promote state-of-the-art nanophotonic devices. | Shuai Wang Zi-Lan Deng Yujie Wang Qingbin Zhou Xiaolei Wang Yaoyu Cao Bai-Ou Guan Shumin Xiao Xiangping Li | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,2: | 6 |
| 5 | Comprehensive Design of the High-Sulfur-Loading Li–S Battery Based on MXene Nanosheets显示文摘The lithium-sulfur battery is the subject of much recent attention due to the high theoretical energy density,but practical applications are challenged by fast decay owing to polysulfide shuttle and electrode architecture degradation.A comprehensive study of the sulfur host microstructure design and the cell architecture construction based on the MXene phase(Ti3C2Tx nanosheets) is performed,aiming at realize stable cycling performance of Li-S battery with high sulfur areal loading.The interwoven KB@Ti3C2Tx composite formed by self-assembly of MXene and Ktej en black,not only provides superior conductivity and maintains the electrode integrality bearing the volume expansion/shrinkage when used as the sulfur host,but also functions as an interlayer on separator to further retard the polysulfide cross-diffusion that possibly escaped from the cathode.The KB@Ti3C2Tx interlayer is only 0.28 mg cm-2 in areal loading and 3 μm in thickness,which accounts a little contribution to the thick sulfur electrode;thus,the impacts on the energy density is minimal.By coupling the robust KB@Ti3C2Tx cathode and the effective KB@Ti3C2Tx modified separator,a stable Li-S battery with high sulfur areal loading(5.6 mg cm-2) and high areal capacity(6.4 mAh cm-2) at relatively lean electrolyte is achieved. | Shouzheng Zhang Ning Zhong Xing Zhou Mingjie Zhang Xiangping Huang Xuelin Yang Ruijin Meng Xiao Liang | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,9: | 4 |
| 6 | FTIR Study of White and Green Broad Beans Based on Curve-fitting显示文摘Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy was used to study two kinds of broad beans with white and green cotyledons respectively.The results show that the infrared spectra of the two kinds of broad beans are similar and mainly made up of the absorption bands of protein,and polysaccharides.The second derivative infrared spectra amplified the differences and revealed that there were some obvious differences in the range of 1 800-700 cm-1and 1 200-700 cm-1.Hierarchical cluster analysis(HCA)were used for the discrimination of the two kinds broad beans based on the second derivative spectral data in the region of 1 611-1 100 cm-1,and yielded 88.9%accuracy.The spectra in the range from 1 700 to 1 600 cm-1were used to perform Fourier self-deconvolution and curve fitting,which obtained nine peaks.The ratios of relative areas of the bands atα-helix,β-sheet,β-turn and the unordered structure of protein in white beans were 67.71%,35.6%,35.6%and 21.09%respectively,while the ratios in green beans were 8.02%,31.59%,37.12%and 23.27%respectively.The results indicate that the secondary structure of protein was different in the two kinds of broad beans. | Xiaohua WANG Gang LIU Quanhong OU Xingxiang ZHAO Jianming HAO Xiangping ZHOU | 2013 | Asian Agricultural Research2013,5,12: | 2 |

| 12 | Multi-objective optimization of methane production system from biomass through anaerobic digestion显示文摘This work addressed the multi-objective optimization of a biogas production system considering both environmental and economic criteria. A mixed integer non-linear programming(MINLP) model was established and solved with non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ, from which the Pareto fronts, the optimal technology combinations and operation conditions were obtained and analyzed. It's found that the system is feasible in both environmental and economic considerations after optimization. The most expensive processing section is decarbonization; the most expensive equipment is anaerobic digester; the most power-consuming processing section is digestion, followed by decarbonization and waste management. The positive green degree value on the process is attributed to processing section of digestion and waste management. 3:1 chicken feces and corn straw, solar energy, pressure swing adsorption and 3:1 chicken feces and rice straw, solar energy, pressure swing adsorption are turned out to be two robust technology combinations under different prices of methane and electricity by sensitivity analysis. | 17 | Similarities and Differences of CT Features between COVID-19 Pneumonia and Heart Failure显示文摘Aims:During the COVID-19 epidemic,chest computed tomography(CT)has been highly recommended for screen-ing of patients with suspected COVID-19 because of an unclear contact history,overlapping clinical features,and an overwhelmed health system.However,there has not been a full comparison of CT for diagnosis of heart failure or COVID-19 pneumonia.Methods:Patients with heart failure(n=23)or COVID-19 pneumonia(n=23)and one patient with both diseases were retrospectively enrolled.Clinical information and chest CT images were obtained and analyzed.Results:There was no difference in ground-glass opacity,consolidation,crazy paving pattern,the lobes affected,and septal thickening between heart failure and COVID-19 pneumonia.However,a less rounded morphology(4%vs.70%,P=0.00092),more peribronchovascular thickening(70%vs.35%,P=0.018)and fi ssural thickening(43%vs.4%,P=0.002),and less peripheral distribution(30%vs.87%,P=0.00085)were found in the heart failure group than in the COVID-19 group.Importantly,there were also more patients with upper pulmonary vein enlargement(61%vs.4%,P=0.00087),subpleural effusion(50%vs.0%,P=0.00058),and cardiac enlargement(61%vs.4%,P=0.00075)in the heart failure group than in the COVID-19 group.Besides,more fi brous lesions were found in the COVID-19 group,although there was no statistical difference(22%vs.4%,P=0.080).Conclusions:Although there is some overlap of CT features between heart failure and COVID-19,CT is still a useful tool for differentiating COVID-19 pneumonia. | Zhaowei Zhu Jianjun Tang Xiangping Chai Zhenfei Fang Qiming Liu Xinqun Hu Danyan Xu Jia He Liang Tang Shi Tai Yuzhi Wu Shenghua Zhou | 2021 | Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2021,,3: | 0 |
