1Clinical characteristics and response to tyrosine kinase inhibitors of patients with non-small cell lung cancer harboring uncommon epidermal growth factor receptor mutations显示文摘Objective: To investigate the clinical features of patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) harboring uncommon epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) mutations, and the treatment outcomes of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) in these patients.Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data of 128 NSCLC patients pathologically diagnosed with uncommon EGFR mutation in the Department of Pathology, National Cancer Center/Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College and Beijing Hospital from January 2010 to December 2015, including 40 advanced patients who received EGFR-TKI.Results: Among the total 128 patients, 11 patients were non-adenocarcinoma, including squamous carcinoma(3.9%), adenosquamous carcinoma(2.3%), large cell carcinoma(0.8%), and composite neuroendocrine carcinoma(1.6%). Single mutations accounted for 75.0%(96/128), including G719X(29.7%), S768I(18.0%), 20 exon insertion(13.3%), L861Q(12.5%), De novo T790M(0.8%), and T725(0.8%). Thirty-two patients harbored complex mutations. Forty advanced patients received EGFR-TKI, the objective response rate(ORR) was 20.0%,the disease control rate(DCR) was 85.0%, and the progression-free survival(PFS) was 6.4 [95% confidence interval(95% CI), 4.8–7.9] months. The exploratory analysis of tumor response and PFS in 33 patients with G719X/S768I/L861 Q subtypes showed that ORR was 21.2%(7/33), the DCR was 93.9%(31/33), and PFS was 7.6(95% CI, 5.8–9.4) months. Patients with exon 20 insertion mutation and De novo T790 M experienced rapid disease progression with PFS no more than 2.7 months.Conclusions: Uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLCs are heterogeneous, EGFR-TKIs can have different efficacy in this specific subtype, and thus further individual assessment is required for each case.Yan Zhang Zheng Wang Xuezhi Hao Xingsheng Hu Hongyu Wang Yan Wang Jianming Ying 2017Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,1:19

3Surface-modified Zn_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)NbO_(4) particles filled polytetrafluoroethylene composite with extremely low dielectric loss and stable temperature dependence显示文摘Polymer-ceramic composites are widely applied in microwave substrate materials due to the excellent dielectric properties and simple preparation process recently.Polytetrafluoroethylene-based(PTFE)composites filled with Zn_(0.5)Ti_(0.5)NbO_(4)(ZTN)ceramic particles were fabricated by hot-pressing.The particles were modified by C_(14)H_(19)F_(13)O_(3)Si to enhance the interface compatibility between PTFE and ZTN powders,which was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and contact angle.The surface characteristic of particles transformed into hydrophobicity and tight microstructure as well as better dielectric properties were obtained after the surface modification.The microstructure,dielectric,thermal,mechanical properties,and water absorption of the composites concerning ZTN content were investigated.Modified ZTN/PTFE composites with 50 vol% ZTN particles exhibit excellent dielectric properties with a high dielectric constant of 8.3,an extremely low dielectric loss of 0.00055 at 7 GHz,and a stable temperature coefficient of the dielectric constant of-12.2 ppm/℃.All the properties show modified ZTN particles filled PTFE composite is the potential material for microwave substrate application.Hao WANG Fuming ZHOU Jianming GUO Yuanyuan ZHANG Hui YANG Qilong ZHANG 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,6:3
4Biosynthesis of clinically used antibiotic fusidic acid and identification of two short-chain dehydrogenase/reductases with converse stereoselectivity显示文摘Fusidic acid is the only fusidane-type antibiotic that has been clinically used. However,biosynthesis of this important molecule in fungi is poorly understood. We have recently elucidated the biosynthesis of fusidane-type antibiotic helvolic acid, which provides us with clues to identify a possible gene cluster for fusidic acid(fus cluster). This gene cluster consists of eight genes, among which six are conserved in the helvolic acid gene cluster except fusC1 and fusB1. Introduction of the two genes into the Aspergillus oryzae NSAR1 expressing the conserved six genes led to the production of fusidic acid. A stepwise introduction of fusC1 and fusB1 revealed that the two genes worked independently without a strict reaction order. Notably, we identified two short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase genes fusC1 and fusC2 in the fus cluster, which showed converse stereoselectivity in 3-ketoreduction. 5FTIR Study of White and Green Broad Beans Based on Curve-fitting显示文摘Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy was used to study two kinds of broad beans with white and green cotyledons respectively.The results show that the infrared spectra of the two kinds of broad beans are similar and mainly made up of the absorption bands of protein,and polysaccharides.The second derivative infrared spectra amplified the differences and revealed that there were some obvious differences in the range of 1 800-700 cm-1and 1 200-700 cm-1.Hierarchical cluster analysis(HCA)were used for the discrimination of the two kinds broad beans based on the second derivative spectral data in the region of 1 611-1 100 cm-1,and yielded 88.9%accuracy.The spectra in the range from 1 700 to 1 600 cm-1were used to perform Fourier self-deconvolution and curve fitting,which obtained nine peaks.The ratios of relative areas of the bands atα-helix,β-sheet,β-turn and the unordered structure of protein in white beans were 67.71%,35.6%,35.6%and 21.09%respectively,while the ratios in green beans were 8.02%,31.59%,37.12%and 23.27%respectively.The results indicate that the secondary structure of protein was different in the two kinds of broad beans.Xiaohua WANG Gang LIU Quanhong OU Xingxiang ZHAO Jianming HAO Xiangping ZHOU 2013Asian Agricultural Research2013,5,12:2
6Defect passivation by nontoxic biomaterial yields 21% efficiency perovskite solar cells显示文摘Defect passivation is one of the most important strategies to boost both the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Here,nontoxic and sustainable forest-based biomaterial,betulin,is first introduced into perovskites.The experiments and calculations reveal that betulin can effectively passivate the uncoordinated lead ions in perovskites via sharing the lone pair electrons of hydroxyl group,promoting charge transport.As a result,the power conversion efficiencies of the p-i-n planar PSCs remarkably increase from 19.14%to 21.15%,with the improvement of other parameters.The hydrogen bonds of betulin lock methylamine and halogen ions along the grain boundaries and on the film surface and thus suppress ion migration,further stabilizing perovskite crystal structures.These positive effects enable the PSCs to maintain 90%of the initial efficiency after 30 days in ambient air with 60%±5%relative humidity,75%after 300 h aging at 85℃,and 55%after 250 h light soaking,respectively.This work opens a new pathway for using nontoxic and low-cost biomaterials from forest to make highly efficient and stable PSCs.Shaobing Xiong Tianyu Hao Yuyun Sun Jianming Yang Ruru Ma Jiulong Wang Shijing Gong Xianjie Liu Liming Ding Mats Fahlman Qinye Bao 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4:2
7Compatibility Evaluation between Direct Coal Liquefaction Residue and Bitumen显示文摘The compatibility between direct coal liquefaction residue(DCLR) and five kinds of pure bitumen(Shell-90,SK-90, ZSY-70, DM-70 and KLMY-50) was evaluated in this study. The rheological characteristics, glass transition temperatures(T_g), solubility parameters(SP) and SARA(saturates, aromatics, resins, and asphaltenes) fractions of DCLR,five kinds of pure bitumen and their blends(named as DCLR modified bitumen) were measured using the dynamic shear rheometer(DSR), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), viscosity, and SARA tests, respectively. And the compatibility between DCLR and pure bitumen was characterized with three approaches, viz. the Cole-Cole plot,T_g, and the solubility parameter difference(SPD) method. Since each method has its own working mechanism, the compatibility ranking for the DCLR and five kinds of pure bitumen is slightly different according to the three approaches. However, the difference is pretty close and sometimes can be ignored. The general compatibility ranking decreases in the following order: Shell-90≈SK-90>DM-70≈ZSY-70>KLMY-50, which is affected by the asphaltenes content and the colloid index(I_c) value in the pure bitumen. 9Extensive expansion of the chemical diversity of fusidane-type antibiotics using a stochastic combinational strategy显示文摘Fusidane-type antibiotics,represented by helvolic acid,fusidic acid and cephalosporin P1,are fungi-derived antimicrobials with little cross-resistance to commonly used antibiotics.Generation of new fusidane-type derivatives is therefore of great value,but this is hindered by available approaches.Here,we developed a stochastic combinational strategy by random assembly of all the post-tailoring genes derived from helvolic acid,fusidic acid,and cephalosporin P1 biosynthetic pathways in a strain that produces their common intermediate.Among a total of 27 gene combinations,24 combinations produce expected products and afford 58 fusidane-type analogues,of which 54 are new compounds.Moreover,random gene combination can induce unexpected activity of some post-tailoring enzymes,leading to a further increase in chemical diversity.These newly generated derivatives provide new insights into the structure-activity relationship of fusidane-type antibiotics.The stochastic combinational strategy established in this study proves to be a powerful approach for expanding structural diversity of natural products.Xiaojun Song Jianming Lv Zhiqin Cao Huiyun Huang Guodong Chen Takayoshi Awakawa Dan Hu Hao Gao Ikuro Abe Xinsheng Yao 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,6:1

16Variability of size-fractionated phytoplankton standing stock in the Amundsen Sea during summer显示文摘The size-fractionated composition of phytoplankton greatly influences the transfer efficiency of biomass in pelagic food chains and the biological carbon flux from surface waters to the deep sea.To better understand phytoplankton abundance and composition in polynya,ice zone,and open ocean regions of the Amundsen Sea Sector of the Southern Ocean(110°W-150°W),its size-fractionated distribution and vertical structure are reported for January to February 2020.Vertical integrated(0-200 m)chlorophyll(Chl)a concentrations within Amundsen polynya regions are significantly higher than those within ice zone(t test,p<0.01)and open ocean(t test,p<0.01)regions,averaging 372.3±189.0,146.2±152.1,and 49.0±20.8 mg·m^(−2),respectively.High Chl is associated with shallow mixed-layer depths and near-shelf regions,especially at the southern ends of 112°W and 145°W.Netplankton(>20μm)contribute 60%of the total Chl in Amundsen polynya and sea ice areas,and form subsurface chlorophyll maxima(SCM)above the pycnocline in the upper water column,probably because of diatom blooms.Net-,nano-,and picoplankton comprise 39%,32%,and 29%of total Chl in open ocean stations,respectively.The open-ocean SCM migrates deeper and is below the pycnocline.The Amundsen Sea SCM is moderately,positively correlated with the euphotic zone depth and moderately,negatively correlated with column-integrated net-and nanoplankton Chl.ZHANG Wei HAO Qiang HE Jianfeng PAN Jianming 2022Advances in Polar Science2022,33,1:0

19Discrimination of Five Citrus Diseased Leaves by FTIR Spectroscopy显示文摘In this paper,citrus brown spot,huanglongbing,canker,fuliginous,Cercospora sp. and healthy leaves were studied using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy( FTIR) combined with statistical analysis. The results showed that the spectra of the samples were similar,whereas there were obvious differences in the second derivatives of infrared spectra in the range of 1 500- 700 cm- 1. The correlative analysis were evaluated,results showed that the correlation coefficients were larger than 0. 918 between healthy leaves,and between the same diseased leaves. However,the values were all decreased between healthy and diseased leaves,and among different diseased leaves. The preprocessed original,first derivative and second derivative spectra in the range of 1 200- 700 cm- 1were chosen to evaluated principal component analysis( PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis( HCA),respectively. The performance of the overall accuracy of PCA was 92.5%,which were better than original dataset and first derivative dataset. HCA by selecting second derivative dataset yield about 90% accuracy. 20Study on Diseased Peanut Leaves by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the application of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR technology) in identification of peanut diseases.[Method] By using FTIR technology,combined with the methods of principal component analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis,the healthy leaves and three kinds of diseased leaves (cercospora black spot,cercospora brown spot and web blotch) were identified in the paper. [Result] IR spectra of both diseased and healthy samples were similar,but tiny differences in wave-numbers and absorption intensities of peaks were observed in the range of 1 750-800 cm-1. Significant differences were found in second derivative spectra in the range of 3 600-2 800 and 1 750-650 cm-1which were selected to perform principle component and hierarchical cluster analysis. Three principal components had the cumulative contribution rate of 94. 9%; the correct rate of principal component analysis for classification was 100% and the correct rate of hierarchical cluster analysis for identification reached 94. 6%.
