1Phylogenetic positions of two marine ciliates, Metanophrys similis and Pseudocohnilembus hargisi (Protozoa, Ciliophora,Scuticociliatia), inferred from complete small subunit rRNA gene sequences显示文摘The small subunit rRNA (SSrRNA) gene was sequenced for two marine scuticociliates Metanophrys similis and Pseudocohnilembus hargisi. The results show that this gene comprises 1763 and 1753 nucleotides in the two marine ciliates respectively. Metanophrys similis is phylogenetically closely related to the clade containing Mesanophrys carcini and Anophyroides haemophila, which branches basally to other species within the order Philasterida. Pseudocohnilembus hargisi groups with its congener, P. marinus, with strong bootstrap support. 2Characterization of marine microplankton communities of Qingdao coastal areas using randomly amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD)显示文摘Microplankton communities of three coastal sites of Qingdao,Shandong Province,China were investigated using RAPD(random amplified polymorphic DNA) molecular markers and morphological observations.Eight RAPD-primers were selected to amplify the DNA polymorphy.The genetic distances inferred from the pairwise similarities were calculated for the phylogenetic tree construction.Meantime,the traditional microscopic determination,a way of visualizing the species composition,was performed to detect the major taxa of microplanktons from all samples.Results showed that:(1) the band sharing index values were in the range of 0.504 2-0.763 2 among samples from the same sampling site at different time scales,while 0.406 5-0.685 7 among the samples from different stations at the same time scales,indicating that spatial variations of microplankton communities were more pronounced than temporal ones;(2) samples from the same station basically clustered together,corresponding to the geographic distribution of the sampling sites;(3) diversity derived from genetic and morphological data did not correspond with each other well.GAO Shan HU Xiaozhong CHEN Zigui XU Henglong YI Zhenzhen LIN Xiaofeng LI Jiqiu 2009Acta Oceanologica Sinica2009,28,1:2
3Applying blockchain-based method to smart contract classification for CPS applications显示文摘Smart contract has been the core of blockchain systems and other blockchain-based systems since Blockchain 2.0.Various operations on blockchain are performed through the invocation and execution of smart contracts.This leads to extensive combinations between blockchain,smart contract,Internet of Things(IoT)and Cyber-Physical System(CPS)applications,and then many blockchain-based IoT or CPS applications emerge to provide multiple benefits to the economy and society.In this case,obtaining a better understanding of smart contracts will contribute to the easier operation,higher efficiency and stronger security of those blockchain-based systems and applications.Many existing studies on smart contract analysis are based on similarity calculation and smart contract classification.However,smart contract is a piece of code with special characteristics and most of smart contracts are stored without any category labels,which leads to difficulties of smart contract classification.As the back end of a blockchain-based Decentralized Application(DApp)is one or several smart contracts,DApps with labeled categories and open source codes are applied to achieve a supervised smart contract classification.A three-phase approach is proposed to categorize DApps based on various data features.In this approach,5,659 DApps with smart contract source codes and pre-tagged categories are first obtained based on massive collected DApps and smart contracts from Ethereum,State of the DApps and DappRadar.Then feature extraction and construction methods are designed to form multi-feature vectors that could present the major characteristics of DApps.Finally,a fused classification model consisting of KNN,XGBoost and random forests is applied to the multi-feature vectors of all DApps for performing DApp classification.The experimental results show that the method is effective.In addition,some positive correlations between feature variables and categories,as well as several user behavior patterns of DApp calls,are found in this paper.Zigui Jiang Kai Chen Hailin Wen Zibin Zheng 2022Digital Communications and Networks2022,8,6:1

5Phylogenetic position of three Condylostoma species (Protozoa, Ciliophora, Heterotrichea) inferred from the small subunit rRNA gene sequence显示文摘The systematically poorly known ciliate genus Condylostoma was erected by Vincent in 1826.About 10 morphotypes have been reported, but any molecular investigations concerning this group so far are lacking.In this work, the small subunit ribosomal RNA (SS rRNA) gene of three marine Condylostoma species was sequenced, by which the phylogenetic trees were constructed by distance-matrix, maximum parsimony and Bayesian inference methods.The results show that (1) all the trees have similar topologies with high supports;(2) Condylostoma is mostly related to the genus Condylostentor;and (3) three Condylostoma species as well as Condylostentor auriculatus cluster together and form a sister group with other heterotrichs.This is moderately consistent with the assessment of phylo-genetic relationships of Condylostoma-related heterotrichs from the morphological information.The phylogenetic relationship of some other related heterotrichs, Peritromus, Folliculina, Stentor and Blepharisma, has been also discussed.Wenbo Guo Weibo Song Khaled A.S. 6Sedimentary characteristics and genetic mechanism of the giant ancient pockmarks in the Qiongdongnan Basin,northern South China Sea显示文摘In the late Miocene,giant ancient pockmarks,which are fairly rare globally,developed in the Qiongdongnan Basin.In this paper,to determine the sedimentary characteristics and genetic mechanism of these giant ancient pockmarks in the Yinggehai Formation of the Qiongdongnan Basin,based on high-resolution 3D seismic data and multiattribute fusion technologies,we analyzed the planar distribution and seismic facies of the ancient pockmarks and compared the characteristics of the ancient pockmarks with those of channels,craters,and hydrate pits.Moreover,we also discussed the implications of the fluid escape system and paleo-bottom current activity in the ancient pockmark development area and analyzed the influence of the ancient pockmarks on the paleoclimate in this region.Finally,an evolutionary model was proposed for the giant ancient pockmarks.This model shows that the giant ancient pockmarks in the southern Qiongdongnan Basin were affected by both deep fluid escape and lateral transformation of paleobottom currents.In addition,the giant ancient pockmarks contributed to the atmospheric CO_(2)concentration in the late Miocene and played a great role in the contemporary evaluation of deepwater petroleum exploration.Pengfei Xiong Cong Cheng Zenggui Kuang Jinfeng Ren Jinqiang Liang Hongfei Lai Zigui Chen Jiang Lu Xiaoyu Fang Tao Jiang 2023Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,2:0
7On four closely related hypotrichous ciliates(Protozoa,Ciliophora,Spirotrichea):molecular characters,interspecific relationships and phylogeny defined with multigene sequence information显示文摘In order to clarify the phylogeny and relationships of the most confused hypotrichous ciliates,Holosticha-complex,four closely related holostichids(five populations),Holosticha bradburyae,H.diademata,Anteholosticha sp.,and A.manca,were compared and analyzed using ITS2 secondary structures,ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region and SSrRNA gene sequences.The ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region sequences of these four species were first sequenced,and they shared sequence identities ranging from 68.0% to 90.1%,while two populations of Anteholosticha sp.differed in three nucleotides(sequence identity 99.8%).There were several minor differences among ITS2 secondary structures of these species,while two populations of Anteholosticha sp.had the identical secondary structure.Phylogenetic trees inferred from the ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region sequences of stichotrichs using multiple algorithms(Neighbor-Joining,Maximum Parsimony and Bayesian) revealed similar topologies.The results show that:(1) Holosticha bradburyae and H.diademata firmly clustered together with strong bootstrap supports,forming a sister clade with Anteholosticha sp.,(2) Anteholosticha appeared to be a paraphyletic assemblage,in which the morphotype A.manca was more closely related to Diaxonella trimarginata than to its congener Anteholosticha sp.Phylogenetic analyses based on the SSrRNA gene and the combined sequences of SSrRNA gene and ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region revealed the similar relationships between Holosticha and Anteholosticha,nevertheless their positions within the subclass Stichotrichia differed from each other inferred from different genes.GAO Feng YI Zhenzhen CHEN Zigui AL-RASHEID Khaled A S SONG Weibo 2010Acta Oceanologica Sinica2010,29,5:0
