1Multi-timescale Energy Sharing with Grid-BESS Capacity Rental Considering Uncertainties显示文摘The growing number of distributed energy resources(DERs)in distribution networks brings new opportunities for local energy sharing.This paper proposes a multi-timescale en-ergy sharing approach among DER aggregators and distribution system operators(DSOs)considering grid-battery energy storage system(BESS)capacity rental and network operations.An energy sharing coordinator is created to manage the energy sharing with price determination.In an hour-ahead stage,the buying/selling energy and required grid-BESS rental capacity are optimally determined by the aggregators while the network operation is robustly considered by the DSO.In addition to renewable generation and loads,the power exchanges of the aggregators are treated as uncertainties.Then during each hour,15-min-ahead energy transaction and controllable DERs are optimized to track uncertainty realization.The uncertainties in the aggregators and the DSO are addressed by stochastic and robust optimization methods,respectively.To efficiently solve the proposed energy sharing problem,a distributed solution algorithm with step length control and step reduction techniques is developed.The simulation results verify the high efficiency of the proposed energy sharing approach.Index Terms-Battery capacity rental,distributed solution algorithm,energy sharing,optimization,uncertainty.Bo Wang Cuo Zhang Chaojie Li Xiangjing Su Zihang Qiu Zhao Yang Dong 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,4:0
2Wideband circular-polarized transmitarray for generating a high-purity vortex beam显示文摘In this correspondence,a wideband circular-polarized(CP)transmitarray(TA)in the Ka-band is presented for generating a high-purity vortex beam.The proposed element is composed of two identical combinations separated by an air layer.The subwavelength structure and double-resonance characteristics ensure the stable phase shift of the element within the 1-dB transmission bandwidth of 28.4%.A square aperture TA fed by a horn antenna is fabricated and measured.Owing to the honeycomb arrangement of elements,the mode purity of l=−1 is>0.93 in a wide band from 28.5 to 38 GHz.The measured peak gain is 22.3 dBic,and the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth is 27.6%.The performance of the proposed antenna demonstrates its potential for high-capacity wireless communication and high-quality radar imaging.Liangjie QIU Xiuping LI Zihang QI Wenyu ZHAO Yuhan HUANG 2023Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2023,24,6:0
3Charging-rate-based Battery Energy Storage System in Wind Farm and Battery Storage Cooperation Bidding Problem显示文摘Wind power has been proven to have the ability to participate in the frequency modulation(FM)market.Using batteries to improve wind power stability can better aid wind farms participating in the FM market.Battery energy storage system(BESS)has a promising future in applying regulation and load management in the power grid.For regulation services,normally,the regulation power prediction is estimated based on the required maximum regulation capacity;the power needed for the specific regulation service is unknown to the BESS owner.However,this information is needed in the regulation model when formulating the linearised BESS model with a constraint on the state of charge(SoC).This compromises the accuracy of the model greatly when it is applied for regulation service.Moreover,different control strategies can be employed by BESS.However,the current depth of discharge(DoD)based models have difficulties in being used in a linearization problem.Due to the consideration of the control strategy,the model becomes highly nonlinear and cannot be solved.In this paper,a charging rate(C-rate)based model is introduced,which can consider different control strategies of a BESS for cooperation with wind farms to participate in wind farm estimation error compensation,load management,energy bid,and regulation bid.First,the limitation of conventional BESS models are listed,and a new C-rate-based model is introduced.Then the C-rate-based BESS model is adopted in a wind farm and BESS cooperation scheme.Finally,experimental studies are carried out,and the DoD model and C-rate model optimization results are compared to prove the rationality of the C-rate model.Zihang Qiu Wang Zhang Shuai Lu Chaojie Li Jingbo Wang Ke Meng Zhaoyang Dong 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,3:0
