1Laboratory tests on enhancing strength of cement stabilized organicsoil with addition of phosphor gypsum and calcium almninate cement显示文摘In order to improve the engineering properties oforganic soil, a new stabilization agent is developed by theaddition of phosphor gypsum and calcium aluminate cement.The artificial organic soil is applied in the study and a series oflaboratory tests were carried out to explore new stabilizationagents and determine the optimal dosage. Unconfinedcompressive strength (UCS) and the pH value of soil poresolution were measured. The influence of organic content,agent composition and curing time on the UCS of sampleswere also researched. The test results show that the UCS ofstabilized organic soils by a new agent achieves approximately800 and 1 200 kPa at 28 and 90 d curing time, respectively.The pH test results show that a high alkaline environment is anecessary and not a sufficient condition for high strength. Thestrength of stabilized soil is related to the hydration product ofstabilization agent. The mechanism of strength formation wasalso explored by X-ray diffraction (XRD), mercury intrusionporosimetry (MIP) and scanning electron microscope (SEM)tests. A large amount of ettringite is produced to fill the largepores of organic soils, which contribute to the high UCS valueof stabilized organic soils. 2Selective hydrocracking of light cycle oil into high-octane gasoline over bi-functional catalysts显示文摘Light cycle oil(LCO) with high content of poly-aromatics was difficult to upgrade and convert,which had hindered upgrading fuel quality to meet with the standard of automotive diesel for the purpose of sustainable development.The hydrocracking behaviors of typical aromatics in LCO of naphthalene and tetralin were investigated over NiMo and CoMo catalysts.Several characterization methods including N2-adsoprtion and desorption,ammonia temperature-programmed desorption(NH3-TPD),Pyridine infrared spectroscopy(Py-IR),CO infrared spectroscopy(CO-IR),Raman and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) were applied to determine the properties of different catalysts.The results showed that CoMo catalyst with high concentration of S-edges could hydrosaturate more naphthalene to tetralin but exhibit lower yield of high-value light aromatics(carbon numbers less than 10) than NiMo catalyst.NiMo catalyst with high concentration of Mo-edges also presented a higher selectivity of converting naphthalene into cyclanes than CoMo catalyst.Subsequently,the naphthalene and LCO hydrocracking performances were also investigated over different catalysts systems.The activity evaluation and kinetic analysis results showed that the naphthalene hydrocracking conversion and the yield of light aromatics for CoMo-AY/NiMo-AY grading catalysts were higher than NiMo-AY/CoMo-AY grading catalysts at same condition.A stepwise reaction principle was proposed to explain the high efficiency of CoMo-AY/NiMoAY grading catalysts.Finally,the LCO hydrocracking evaluation results confirmed that CoMo-AY/NiMoAY catalysts grading system with low carbon deposition and high stability could remain high percentage of active phases,which was more efficient to convert LCO to high-octane gasoline.Zhengkai Cao Xia Zhang Chunming Xu Xinlu Huang Ziming Wu Chong Peng Aijun Duan 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1:3

6Auroral Electrojet Event Associated With Magnetospheric Substorms显示文摘The auroral electrojet index is an important index in monitoring and predicting substorms.A substorms usually includes auroral breakup,auroral electrojet event marked by AE increase,energetic particle injection at geosynchronous orbit,mid-low latitude Pi2,etc.However the question whether an auroral electrojet event corresponds to a substorms remains unanswered.Using the auroral electrojet index in 2004,we analyzed five auroral electrojet events and studied their relation with substorms.The results show that there are three kinds of auroral electrojet events:(1) simultaneous rapid increase of westward auroral electrojet and eastward auroral electrojet;(2) rapid increase of westward auroral electrojet and almost unchangeable eastward auroral electrojet;(3) rapid increase of eastward auroral electrojet and almost unchangeable westward auroral electrojet.Most of auroral electrojet events correspond to substorms.However a few auroral electrojet events are not accompanied by substorms.This situation most often occurs for the auroral electrojet event in which eastward auroral electrojet dominates.Zou Ziming Cao Jinbin Li Yi 2010空间科学学报2010,30,4:0
7Garlic extract addition for soil improvement at various temperatures using enzyme-induced carbonate precipitation (EICP) method显示文摘Enzyme-induced carbonate precipitation (EICP) is an emerging technique to improve the soil and most studies are carried out at room temperature. However, considering some foundations are in high-temperature environments (>40 ℃), the higher urease activity at high temperature results in the solidification inhomogeneity, limiting the application of EICP. The higher urease activity at high temperature hampers the application of EICP because of solidification inhomogeneity. The garlic extract has been used as a type of urease inhibitor in medical science and food engineering. Here, we propose to use it to control urease activity for sand solidification at high temperature. The effects of garlic extract addition on urease activity and precipitation rates for calcium carbonate (CaCO_(3)) were studied. Extra tests were conducted to study the effect of garlic extract addition on the solidification homogeneity. The results showed that the garlic extract addition significantly decreased urease activity. To reduce the rate of CaCO3 precipitation at different temperatures, a suitable concentration of garlic extract was necessary to obtain a suitable urease activity. In the sand solidification test, garlic extract addition resulted in a smaller difference in sonic time values or CaCO_(3) contents at different parts of samples. The improved solidification homogeneity can achieve higher strength. The correlation between sonic time values and CaCO_(3) content was higher than that between CaCO3 content and strength. Appropriate concentrations of garlic extract were obtained at 35 ℃, 40℃, 45 ℃, 50 ℃, and 55 ℃. 9Fly ash and zero-valent iron-based in situ advanced anaerobic digestion with emphasis on the removal of antibiotics and antibiotic resistance genes from sewage sludge显示文摘This study investigated the removal of antibiotics and antibiotic resistance genes from sewage sludge by using fly ash(FA)-based in situ advanced anaerobic digestion(AAD)under mesophilic conditions.Five antibiotics(sulfadiazine,sulfameth-oxazole,ofloxacin,tetracycline,and roxithromycin)and 11 corresponding antibiotic resistance genes(Ib-cr,qnrS,ermF,ermT,ermX,sul1,sul2,sul3,tetA,tetB,and tetG)were selected as the targets.Adding FA to anaerobic digestion to remove antibiotics and resistance genes allows waste to be treated with waste.FA-based in situ AAD of sewage sludge effectively enhanced the process stability and methane yield,and the optimal FA-added dosage was 50 mg/L.The cumulative methane yield could be well described with the improved Gompertz model.FA addition effectively increased the overall removal of ofloxacin,by up to 85.3%at 50 mg/L FA and 10μg/L antibiotics,and the combination of zero-valent iron and FA enhanced only the overall removal of ofloxacin to 92.4%and tetracycline to 85.6%.However,FA-based in situ AAD could not enhance the overall removal of other antibiotics from sewage sludge.Not all the same types of antibiotic resistance genes were strongly positively correlated with the concentrations of antibiotics.The removal of antibiotic resistance genes influenced by FA addition varied largely with the types of antibiotic resistance genes,FA dosage,antibiotic content,and the combination with zero-valent iron.FA addition could not be verified to enhance the removal of antibiotic resistance genes.The addition of FA or zero-valent iron and the antibiotic concentrations significantly changed the microbial community structure during in situ AAD,and the combination of zero-valent iron and FA significantly reduces the species diversity and microbial abundance.The most abundant bacteria were Methanogarcina,Methanoberium,unidentified_Archaea,Terrimonas,Methomethoxychlo-rovorans,and Candidatus_Cloacimonas in the ZVI-FA test.Minquan Zhang Yadan Wangjin Haidong Zhou Ziming Zhao Zhengcao Cao Zhenxi Ying 2022Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2022,4,1:0

116-17 Research Progress of High Energy Electron Radiography显示文摘High Energy Density Physics (HEDP) aims to study the properties of matter under extreme states of temperatureand pressure. The pressure in a high energy density sample exceeds 1 Mbar (100 GPa), thus the hydrodynamicresponse of the sample is a high expansion velocity in the range of km/s (m/ns). Therefore, diagnostics which arecapable of high time resolution (< ns) and space resolution (10 m) are needed. High Energy Electron Radiography(HEER) is a new method suitable for HEDP research that uses a high energy electron beam as a probe for timeresolved imaging measurements of high energy density processes in materials. The device uses an electron bunchtrain with a flexible time structure penetrating a time varying high density target. The electron bunch-lets, eacha few ps long and with charges nC is suitable, traverses the HEDP target where the electrons are scattered bythe nuclei. The angular distribution depends on the density and thickness of the target. The scattered electronsthen travel through the point-to-point imaging lattice with a suitable magnification. 12An Efficient Method for Identifying the Inactive Transmission Constraints in a Network-Constrained Unit Commitment显示文摘Network-constrained unit commitment(NCUC)is one of the most widely used applications in power system and electricity market operations.According to empirical evidence,some of the transmission constraints in a NCUC are inactive.Identifying and eliminating these inactive constraints can improve the efficiency.In this paper,an efficient method is first proposed for identifying the inactive transmission constraints.The physical and economic insights of NCUC are carefully considered and utilized.Both the generating costs and power transfer distribution factor(PTDF)are considered.Not only redundant constraints but also non-binding constraints can be identified via the proposed method.An acceleration method that combines relaxation-based neighborhood search and improved relaxation inducement is proposed for further reducing the computation time.The case study shows that the proposed method can significantly reduce the number of transmission constraints and substantially improve the efficiency of NCUC without impacting the optimality.Ziming Ma Haiwang Zhong Qing Xia Chongqing Kang Qiang Wang Xin Cao 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,6:0
