1Reduced graphene oxide aerogel decorated with Mo_(2)C nanoparticles toward multifunctional properties of hydrophobicity, thermal insulation and microwave absorption显示文摘Reduced graphene oxide(rGO)aerogels are emerging as very attractive scaffolds for high-performance electromagnetic wave absorption materials(EWAMs)due to their intrinsic conductive networks and intricate interior microstructure,as well as good compatibility with other electromagnetic(EM)components.Herein,we realized the decoration of rGO aerogel with Mo_(2)C nanoparticles by sequential hydrothermal assembly,freeze-drying,and high-temperature pyrolysis. Results show that Mo_(2)C nanoparticle loading can be easily controlled by the ammonium molybdate to glucose molar ratio. The hydrophobicity and thermal insulation of the rGO aerogel are effectively improved upon the introduction of Mo_(2)C nanoparticles, and more importantly, these nanoparticles regulate the EM properties of the rGO aerogel to a large extent.Although more Mo_(2)C nanoparticles may decrease the overall attenuation ability of the rGO aerogel, they bring much better impedance matching. At a molar ratio of 1:1,a desirable balance between attenuation ability and impedance matching is observed. In this context, the Mo_(2)C/r GO aerogel displays strong reflection loss and broad response bandwidth, even with a small applied thickness(1.7 mm)and low filler loading(9.0wt%).The positive effects of Mo_(2)C nanoparticles on multifunctional properties may render Mo_(2)C/r GO aerogels promising candidates for high-performance EWAMs under harsh conditions.Yahui Wang Minghui Zhang Xuesong Deng Zhigang Li Zongsheng Chen Jiaming Shi Xijiang Han Yunchen Du 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,3:2
2Oxidation Characteristics of the Reactivity Between Pyrite and Aqueous Arsenate显示文摘Natural pyrites contain high levels of adsorbed and structurally incorporated arsenic(As),which may simultaneously result in the release of As and affect the oxidation process of pyrite. However, the oxidation and electrochemical behaviors of As on the oxidation reactivity of pyrites are still not clear. In this study, pyrite was prepared by a hydrothermal method and applied to study the oxidation mechanism between pyrite and aqueous arsenate.Analyses of X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy demonstrate that the as-prepared sample is an octahedron-like pyrite with high purity and crystallinity. The interaction between As(V)and pyrite as well as the electrochemical behaviors of pyrite oxidation in the presence of aqueous arsenate were investigated under acidic conditions by an ion analysis method, cyclic voltammetry(CV),Tafel, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).The results of the chemical reaction indicate that electrons are transferred from S 22-to dissolved oxygen with the formation of SO 42-in the initial As(V)concentration range of 0–0.3 mmol/L.In the initial As(V)concentration range of 0.4–1.2 mmol/L,electrons are transferred from S 22-to As(V)with the formation of elemental S 0 and As(III).The CV,the Tafel plot and EIS analyses indicate that aqueous arsenate in an electrolyte promotes oxidation reactivity and passivation of the pyrite electrode. Moreover, the electron transfer rate increases with increasing aqueous arsenate concentration in the electrolyte.Yongling Liu Songhai Wu Shaoyi Jia Zongsheng Liang Xu Han 2019Transactions of Tianjin University2019,25,4:1
3Avian influenza viruses suppress innate immunity by inducingtrans-transcriptional readthrough via SSU72显示文摘Innate immunity plays critical antiviral roles. The highly virulent avian influenza viruses (AIVs) H5N1, H7N9, and H5N6 can betterescape host innate immune responses than the less virulent seasonal H1N1 virus. Here, we report a mechanism by whichtranscriptional readthrough (TRT)-mediated suppression of innate immunity occurs post AIV infection. By using cell lines, mouselungs, and patient PBMCs, we showed that genes on the complementary strand (“trans” genes) influenced by TRT were involved inthe disruption of host antiviral responses during AIV infection. The trans-TRT enhanced viral lethality, and TRT abolishmentincreased cell viability and STAT1/2 expression. The viral NS1 protein directly bound to SSU72, and degradation of SSU72 inducedTRT. SSU72 overexpression reduced TRT and alleviated mouse lung injury. Our results suggest that AIVs infection induce TRT byreducing SSU72 expression, thereby impairing host immune responses, a molecular mechanism acting through the NS1-SSU72-trans-TRT-STAT1/2 axis. Thus, restoration of SSU72 expression might be a potential strategy for preventing AIV pandemics.Yan Zhao Fengming Huang Zhen Zou Yuhai Bi Yang Yang Cong Zhang Qiang Liu Daozhen Shang Yiwu Yan Xiangwu Ju Song Mei Peng Xie Xiao Li Mingyao Tian Shuguang Tan Huijun Lu Zongsheng Han Kangtai Liu Yuqing Zhang Junbo Liang Zhu Liang Qingchao Zhang Jiahui Chang William JLiu Cong Feng Tanshi Li Michael Q.Zhang Xiaoyue Wang George FGao Yingxia Liu Ningyi Jin Chengyu Jiang 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,6:0
