2Catalytic oxidation of soot particulates over MnO_x-CeO_2 oxides prepared by complexation-combustion method显示文摘MnOx-CeO2 oxides prepared by complexation-combustion method were used for soot oxidation. The highest conversion rate of soot was obtained on a MnOx-CeO2 oxide prepared under mild acid condition of pH = 4, where the oxidation temperature corresponding to maximum activity was decreased more than 150℃ compared with that of un-catalytic soot oxidation. The structure and property of the catalysts were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and temperature programmed reduction (TPR). The results indicated that there were at least two kinds of Mn species present in MnOx-CeO2 catalysts, i.e. Mn ions within CeO2 lattice and high dispersion MnOx on the surface of CeO2. The presence of Mn ions in the CeO2 lattice improved the oxygen vacancy due to the charge difference, and the CeO2 considerably decreased the reduction temperature of MnOx. 4Genetic regulation by non-coding RNAs显示文摘Large scale cDNA sequencing and genome tiling array studies have shown that around 50% of genomic DNA in humans is transcribed, of which 2% is translated into proteins and the remaining 98% is non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs). There is mounting evidence that these ncRNAs play critical roles in regulating DNA structure, RNA expression, protein translation and protein functions through multiple genetic mechanisms, and thus affect normal development of organisms at all levels. Today, we know very little about the regulatory mechanisms and functions of these ncRNAs, which is clearly essential knowledge for understanding the secret of life. 5miRNAs modulate the drug response of tumor cells显示文摘Chemotherapy is one of the major treatments of malignant carcinomas. However,its efficiency is affected by both intrinsic and acquired resistance to anticancer drugs. The cellular mechanisms of drug resistance include the overexpression of energy-dependent transporters that eject anticancer drugs from cells such as p-glycoprotein and multidrug resistance related protein (MRP),the mutation of drug targets,the activation of DNA repair pathways,the defects in cellular death pathways and so on. The genetic and epigenetic changes of these genes can lead to cancer drug resistance. Among these mechanisms,microRNAs (miRNAs) which are critical and essential for many important processes such as development,differentiation,and even carcinogenesis have been reported to regulate the chemosen-sitivity of tumor cells. 6Effects of temperature and pressure on the structural and optical properties of ZnO films grown by pulsed laser deposition显示文摘ZnO thin films were deposited on fused silica via pulsed laser deposition (PLD) at substrate temperatures from 300°C to 800°C and ambient oxygen pressures ranging from 10-2 mTorr to 240 mTorr. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectra indicated that wurtzite ZnO was obtained in all cases. The highly c-oriented ZnO films were obtained for oxygen pressures above 11 mTorr. The room-temperature photoluminescence (PL) spectra demonstrated that all the films exhibited strong near-band-edge (NBE) emission, while deep-level (DL) emission was also observed in films deposited at oxygen pressures below 80 mTorr. 10Semibatch Emulsifier-free Emulsion Copolymerization of Methyl Methacrylate and n-Butyl Acrylate in the Presence of 2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate显示文摘The sendbatch emulsifier-free emulsion copolymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and n-butyl acrylate (BA) in the presence of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) initiated by K2S2O8 (PSP) was studied. The average palticle diameter increases with an increase of total solids content, HEMA content, PSP content, ionic strength of the system and monomer feed rate, and decreases with the monomer feed ratio from 3/1 (MMA/BA mole.) to 1/3. The stability of this reaction system is improyed by adding HEMA as nonionic comonomer. 12High performance liquid chromatographic separation of thirteen drugs collected in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010(Ch.P2010) on cellulose ramification chiral stationary phase显示文摘The enantiomers separation of thirteen drugs collected in Ch.P2010 was performed on chiral stationary phase of cellulose ramification (chiralpak OD and chiralpak OJ) by high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) methods, which included ibuprofen (C1), ketoprofen (C2), nitrendipine (C3), nimodipine (C4), felodipine (C5), omeprazole (C6), praziquantel (C7), propranolol hydrochloride (C8), atenolol (C9), sulpiride (C10), clenbuterol hydrochloride (C11), verapamil hydrochloride (C12), and chlorphenamine maleate (C13). The mobile phase consisted of isopropanol and n-hexane. The detection wavelength was set at 254 nm and the fiow rate was 0.7 mL/min. The enantiomers separation of these thirteen racemates on chiralpak OD column and chiralpak OJ column was studied, while the effects of proportion of organic additives, alcohol displacer and temperature on the separation were studied. And the mechanism of some of racemates was discussed. The results indicated that thirteen chiral drugs could be separated onchiral stationary phase of cellulose ramification in normal phase chromatographic system. The chromatographic retention and resolution of enantiomers could be adjusted by factors including column temperature and the concentration of alcohol displacer and organic alkaline modifier in mobile phase. It was shown that the resolution was improved with reducing concentration of alcohol displacer. When concentration of organic alkaline modifier was 0.2% (v/v), the resolution and the peak shape were fairly good. Most racemates mentioned above had better resolution at column temperature of 25 1C. 14ADSORBENTS USED IN THE CLEARANCE OF ENDOTOXIN显示文摘A series of modified poly (methyl methacrylate, PMMA) resins were prepared and compared their adsorption abilities to endotoxin. The results showed that adsorbents, which were grafted with tertiary amine and long spacing arms, had the best adsorption capacities and good blood compatibility. It is hopeful to be used as adsorbent in hemoperfusion for clinical clearance of endotoxin. 15Structural modulation of Cd(Ⅱ) supramolecular frameworks with a versatile 2,4-dipyridyl-type building block and different dicarboxylate ligands显示文摘A series of Cd(Ⅱ) coordination complexes with an elongated 2,4-dipyridyl-type building block trans-1-(2-pyridyl)-2-(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpe) and different dicarboxylate ligands have been presented. Generally, bpe shows the unidentate coordination mode and serves as the terminal pendant, whereas the dicarboxylate ligands display various binding fashions to interlink the metal centers to form 1-D comb-like chain, ribbon, and fishbone arrays, as well as 2-D 44 and 4.82 layered networks. Notably, the bpe building block is also involved in secondary interactions such as hydrogen bonding and aromatic stacking to construct the resulting supramolecular architectures. 16THE PREPARATION OF CROSSLINKED N,O-CARBOXYMETHYL CHITOSAN RESINSAND THEIR ADSORPTION PROPERTIESFOR TRIGLYCERIDE IN SERUM显示文摘Crosslinked N, O-carboxymethyl chitosan resins which can selectively adsorb triglyceride, were prepared by the reaction of N, O- carboxymethyl chitosan with glutaraldehyde solution. Adsorption experiments were performed by adding the resins to the serum. 18Magnetic and Structural Properties in Co/Cu/Co Sandwiches with Ni and Cr Buffer Layers显示文摘The magnetic and structural properties in Co/Cu/Co sandwiches with Ni and Cr buffer layers were investigated. It was found that the coercivity in Ni layer buffered samples decreases with increasing Ni layer thickness, while that in Cr layer buffered ones increases with increasing Cr layer thickness, leading to a large difference in field sensitivity of their giant magnetoresistance (GMR) properties. X-ray diffraction and high resolution transmission electron microscope images exhibited that there is a strong fcc (111) texture in the samples with Ni buffer layer. But there are only randomly oriented polycrystalline grains in Cr buffered sandwiches. According to atomic force microscope topography, the surface roughness of Cr buffered sandwiches is smaller than that of Ni buffered ones. 19FKBP23 in ER binds to BiP specifically显示文摘FKBP23 was found in mouse endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in 1998. It consists of an N-terminal peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) domain and a C-terminal domain with Ca2+ binding sites. The fusion protein of mouse FKBP23 and glutathione S-transferase (GST), GST-FKBP23, and the fusion protein of BiP, a member of heat shock protein 70 (Hsp 70) in ER, and GST, GST-BiP, were subcloned in E. coli, expressed and purified. The fusion proteins were restrictively digested by Factor Xa (FaXa) to obtain the free cloned proteins FKBP23 and BiP. With the assay of adsorption of free FKBP23 or BiP with GST-BiP or GST-FKBP23 attached to the Glutathione-Sepharose 4B, the adsorbed FKBP23 or BiP could be detected by Immunoblot. It means that FKBP23 binds to BiP. Furthermore, BiP in leukocyte ER-extract can be adsorbed with GST-FKBP23 attached to the glutathione-Sepharose 4B. It shows that FKBP23 binds to natural BiP in ER, too.
