1Anatomical and chemical characteristics associated with lodging resistance in wheat显示文摘Anatomical and chemical characteristics of stems affect lodging in wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars. Traits associated with lodging resistance, such as plant height, stem strength, culm wall thickness, pith diameter, and stem diameter, were extensively investigated in earlier studies. However, the solid stem trait was rarely considered. In this study, we measured a range of anatomical and chemical characteristics on solid and hollow stemmed wheat cultivars. Significant correlations were detected between resistance to lodging and several anatomical features, including width of mechanical tissue, weight of low internodes, and width of stem walls. Morphological features that gave the best indication of improved lodging resistance were increased stem width, width of mechanical tissue layer, and stem density. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that 99% of the variation in lodging resistance could be explained by the width of the mechanical tissue layer, suggesting that solid stemmed wheat has several anatomical features for increasing resistance to lodging. In addition, microsatellite markers GWM247 and GWM340 were linked to a single solid stem QTL on chromosome 3BL in a population derived from the cross Xinongshixin(solid stem)/Line 3159(hollow stem). 2Investigation of changes in properties of water under the action of a magnetic field显示文摘The properties of water and their changes under the action of a magnetic field were gathered by the spectrum techniques of infrared, Raman, visible, ultraviolet and X-ray lights, which may give an insight into molecular and atomic structures of water. It was found that some properties of water were changed, and a lot of new and strange phenomena were discovered after magnetization. Magnetized water really has magnetism, which has been verified by a peak shift of X-ray diffraction of magnetized water + Fe3O4 hybrid relative to that of pure water + Fe3O4 hybrid, that is a saturation and memory effect. The properties of infrared and ultraviolet absorp-tions, Raman scattering and X-ray diffraction of magnetized water were greatly changed relative to those of pure water; their strengths of peaks were all increased, the frequencies of some peaks did also shift, and some new peaks, for example, at 5198, 8050 and 9340 cm?1, occurred at 25℃ after water was magnetized. In the meanwhile, the magnetized effects of water are related to the magnetized time, the intensity of an externally applied magnetic field, and the temperature of water, but they are not a linear relationship. The study also showed a lot of new and unusual properties of magnetized water, for example, the six peaks in 3000-3800 cm?1 in infrared absorption, the exponential increase of ultraviolet absorption of wave with the decreasing wavelength of light of 200-300 nm, the frequency-shifts of peaks, a strange irreversible effect in the increasing and decreasing processes, as well as a stronger peak of absorption occurring at 50℃, 70℃ and 80℃, the existence of many models of motion from 85℃ to 95℃ in 8000-10000 cm?1, and so on. These results show that the molecular structure of water is very complicated, which needs further study. Furthermore, the macroscopic feature of mechanics, for instance, surface tension force of magnetized water, was also measured. Experiments dis-covered that the size in contact angles of magnetized water on the surface of hy-drophobic materials decreases, thus the surface tension force of magnetized water decreases relative to that of pure water. It is seen from the above results that the clustering structure of hydrogen-bonded chains and polarization effects of water molecules are enhanced after magnetization. 3STUDY ON CLIMATIC FEATURES OF SURFACE TURBULENT HEAT EXCHANGE COEFFICIENTS AND SURFACE THERMAL SOURCES OVER THE QINGHAI-XIZANG PLATEAU显示文摘Using monthly mean of surface turbulent heat exchange coefficients calculated based on datafrom four automatic weather stations(AWS)for thermal equilibrium observation in July 1993—September 1996 and of surface conventional measurements,an empirical expression is establishedfor such coefficients.With the expression,the heat exchange coefficients and the components ofsurface thermal source are computed in terms of 1961—1990 monthly mean conventional data from148 stations over the Qinghai-Xizang(Tibetan)Plateau(QXP)and its adjoining areas,and the1961—1990 climatic means are examined.Evidence suggests that the empirical expression is capable of showing the variation of the heatexchange coefficient in a climatic context.The monthly variation of the coefficients averaged overthe QXP is in a range of 4×10-3-5×10-3.The wintertime values are bigger in the mountainsthan in the valleys and reversal in summer.Surface effective radiation and sensible heat are thedominant factors of surface total heat.In spring surface sensible heat is enhanced quickly,resulting in two innegligible regions of sensible heat,one in the west QXP and the other innorthern Tibet.with their maximums emerging in different months.In spring and summersensible heat and surface effective radiation are higher in the west than in the east.The effectiveradiation peaks for the east in October—December and the whole QXP and in June and October forthe west.The surface total heat of the plateau maximizes in May.minimizes in December andJanuary,and shows seasonal variation more remarkable in the SW compared to the eastern part.Inthe SW plateau the total heat is much more intense than the eastern counterpart in all the seasonsexcept winter.Under the effect of the sensible heat,the total heat on the SW plateau starts toconsiderably intensify in February,which leads to a predominant heating region in the west,withits center experiencing a noticeable westward migration early in summer and twice pronouncedweakening in July and after October.However,the weakening courses are owing to differentcauses.The total heat over the north of QXP is greatly strengthened in March.thus generatinganother significant thermal region in the plateau.赵平 陈隆勋 2000Acta meteorologica Sinica2000,14,1:19
4Differential hepatic features presenting in Wilson disease-associated cirrhosis and hepatitis B-associated cirrhosis显示文摘BACKGROUND Cirrhosis is a chronic late stage liver disease associated with hepatitis viruses,alcoholism, and metabolic disorders, such as Wilson disease(WD). There are no clear markers or clinical features that define cirrhosis originating from these disparate origins. We hypothesized that cirrhosis is not one disease and cirrhosis of different etiology may have differential clinical hepatic features.AIM To delineate the liver features between WD-associated cirrhosis and hepatitis Bassociated cirrhosis in the Chinese population.METHODS In this observational study, we reviewed the medical data of consecutive inpatients who had WD-associated cirrhosis or hepatitis B-associated cirrhosis from January 2010 to August 2018, and excluded patients who had carcinoma,severe heart or pulmonary diseases, or other liver diseases. According to the etiology of cirrhosis, patients were divided into two groups: WD-associated cirrhosis group(60 patients) and hepatitis B-associated cirrhosis group(56 patients). The liver fibrosis degree, liver function indices, and portal hypertension features of these patients were compared between the two groups.RESULTS No inter-group differences were observed in the diagnostic liver fibrosis markers,however, clinical features clearly defined the origin of cirrhosis. WD-associated cirrhosis patients(16-29 years) had lower levels of alanine transaminase,aspartate transaminase, and bilirubin, lower prothrombin time, lower incidence of hepatic encephalopathy, and lower portal vein diameter(P < 0.05), compared to cirrhosis resulting from hepatitis B in older patients(45-62 years). Importantly,they had decreased risks of progression from Child-Pugh grade A to B(odds ratio = 0.046, 95% confidence interval: 0.006-0.387, P = 0.005) and of ascites(odds ratio = 0.08, 95% confidence interval: 0.01-0.48, P = 0.005). 5Petrogenesis and its significance to continental dynamics of the Neogene high-potassium calc-alkaline volcanic rock association from north Qiangtang,Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Detailed studies indicate that the main rock type of the Neogene high-potassium calc-alkaline volcanic rock association from north Qiangtang is andesite, dacite and rhyolite. They belong to typical crust-generation magmatic system and originate from the special thickened crust of the Tibetan Plateau by dehydration melting. This group of rocks exhibits LREE enrichment but no remarkable Eu anomaly that shows their source region should be a thickened deep crust consisting of eclogitic mass group, implying that the crust had been thickened and an eclogitic deep crust had been formed during the Neogene period in Qiangtang area. 6A Deep Adaptive Learning Method for Rolling Bearing Fault Diagnosis Using Immunity显示文摘The extraction of rolling bearing fault features using traditional diagnostic methods is not sufficiently comprehensive and the features are often chosen subjectively and depend on human experience. In this paper, an improved deep convolutional process is used to extract a set of features adaptively. The hidden multi-layer feature of deep convolutional neural networks is also exploited to improve the extraction features. A deterministic detection of low-confidence samples is performed to ensure the reliability of the recognition results and to decrease the rate of false positives by evaluating the diagnosis of the deep convolutional neural network. To improve the efficiency of the continuous learning elements of the rolling bearing fault diagnosis, a clone learning strategy based on cloning and mutation operations is proposed. 11广东省乡村聚落空间分布的影响机制及研究内容框架展望(英文)显示文摘Based on land use classification data of remote sensing images, using kernel density, the minimal cumulative resistance model of road traffic accessibility, and a logistic regression model, the characteristics of the spatial pattern and the main factors influencing it were quantitatively examined in Guangdong Province from 1990 to 2013. The framework of the research concerning rural settlement evolution and its effect mechanisms were also discussed and generalized for the future. The results are as follows:(1) The spatial distribution of rural settlements showed spatial directivity of low altitude, low slope, and adjacent to rivers, as well as to villages and towns; thus a special pattern was formed, which was dense on the plains, sparse in mountainous areas, and included two core high density regions of rural settlements in the Chaoshan plain in the east and the Zhanjiang plain tableland region in the west. The spatial distribution of rural settlements was located along the rivers, valleys, and roads with traffic in the mountainous regions surrounding the Pearl River Delta region.(2) In addition to the spatial orientation of the open road, it was important to show that the accessibility of road traffic to the township has had the greatest influence on the spatial distribution of the rural settlements. The connected transport network between towns and villages is significant for rural transformation as a comprehensive increase in township production and service capacity will be the key to optimizing the town-village system in rural areas.(3) Elevation and slope were two basic but influential factors that have affected the distribution, scale, and form of rural settlements. The attributes of the physical geography are the first elements in optimizing village layout and planning spatial reconstruction.(4) In the current Internet and social media era, the reconstruction of market network system orders connects with the global market network system in rural areas. The rural life service circle will be constructed with the township at its core to explore the theory and practice of spatial reconstruction, including its production, life and ecology, and socio-cultural heritage and protection. 12Prevalence of asthenopia and its risk factors in Chinese college students显示文摘AIM:To determine the prevalence of asthenopia and identify any associated risk factors in the college students in Xi'an,China. METHODS:From April to September 2012,1 500 students from five universities in Xi'an were selected according to a multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method.Data on demographic features,lifestyle or dietary habits,health status,living environment conditions,sleep and mental status,and asthenopia symptoms were collected through a self-administered validated questionnaire.Univariate logistic regression and multivariate logistic regression analysis modified by the factor analysis were performed to evaluate risk factors for asthenopia.RESULTS:Fifty-seven percent of the college students complained of asthenopia.Statistically significant risk factors for asthenopia in the univariate analysis included 13 variables.Multivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between the use of computer and asthenopia(OR 1.21,95% CI:1.09 to 1.35).Good sleep and mental status(OR 0.86,95% CI:0.76 to 0.97),good living environment conditions(OR 0.67,95% CI:0.60 to 0.76),and high intake of green leafy vegetables(OR 0.89,95% CI:0.80 to 0.98) were found to be strong predictors of decreasing the occurrence of asthenopia complaints.CONCLUSION:Asthenopia symptom appeares to be common among college students;and it is strongly associated with computer use,psychosocial state,environment conditions and dietary habits,suggesting that additional studies are warranted to verify these risk factors and establish prevention guidelines,especially for college students.Cheng-Cheng Han Rong Liu Ru-Ru Liu Zhong-Hai Zhu Rong-Bin Yu Le Ma 2013International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2013,6,5:12
13Discriminative graph regularized broad learning system for image recognition显示文摘Broad learning system(BLS) has been proposed as an alternative method of deep learning. The architecture of BLS is that the input is randomly mapped into series of feature spaces which form the feature nodes, and the output of the feature nodes are expanded broadly to form the enhancement nodes, and then the output weights of the network can be determined analytically. The most advantage of BLS is that it can be learned incrementally without a retraining process when there comes new input data or neural nodes. It has been proven that BLS can overcome the inadequacies caused by training a large number of parameters in gradient-based deep learning algorithms. In this paper, a novel variant graph regularized broad learning system(GBLS) is proposed. Taking account of the locally invariant property of data, which means the similar images may share similar properties, the manifold learning is incorporated into the objective function of the standard BLS. In GBLS, the output weights are constrained to learn more discriminative information,and the classification ability can be further enhanced. Several experiments are carried out to verify that our proposed GBLS model can outperform the standard BLS. 14An Embedded Feature Selection Method for Imbalanced Data Classification显示文摘Imbalanced data is one type of datasets that are frequently found in real-world applications, e.g., fraud detection and cancer diagnosis. For this type of datasets, improving the accuracy to identify their minority class is a critically important issue.Feature selection is one method to address this issue. An effective feature selection method can choose a subset of features that favor in the accurate determination of the minority class. A decision tree is a classifier that can be built up by using different splitting criteria. Its advantage is the ease of detecting which feature is used as a splitting node. Thus, it is possible to use a decision tree splitting criterion as a feature selection method. In this paper, an embedded feature selection method using our proposed weighted Gini index(WGI) is proposed. Its comparison results with Chi2, F-statistic and Gini index feature selection methods show that F-statistic and Chi2 reach the best performance when only a few features are selected. As the number of selected features increases, our proposed method has the highest probability of achieving the best performance. The area under a receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC AUC) and F-measure are used as evaluation criteria. Experimental results with two datasets show that ROC AUC performance can be high, even if only a few features are selected and used, and only changes slightly as more and more features are selected. However, the performance of Fmeasure achieves excellent performance only if 20% or more of features are chosen. 15Multi-scale object detection by top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network显示文摘While moving ahead with the object detection technology, especially deep neural networks, many related tasks, such as medical application and industrial automation, have achieved great success. However, the detection of objects with multiple aspect ratios and scales is still a key problem. This paper proposes a top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network(TDBU-FPN),which combines multi-scale feature representation and anchor generation at multiple aspect ratios. First, in order to build the multi-scale feature map, this paper puts a number of fully convolutional layers after the backbone. Second, to link neighboring feature maps, top-down and bottom-up flows are adopted to introduce context information via top-down flow and supplement suboriginal information via bottom-up flow. The top-down flow refers to the deconvolution procedure, and the bottom-up flow refers to the pooling procedure. Third, the problem of adapting different object aspect ratios is tackled via many anchor shapes with different aspect ratios on each multi-scale feature map. 16Clinical characteristics and prognosis of young patients with colorectal cancer in Eastern China显示文摘AIM:To explore the clinical characteristics and prognosis of young patients with colorectal cancer patients in Eastern China.METHODS:A total of 1335 patients with colorectal cancer treated from December 1985 to December 2005at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine were studied retrospectively.The patients were divided into two groups,a younger group(aged≤30 years)and an older group(aged>30 years),and comparison was made in the clinical characteristics and prognosis between the two groups.Chisquare test was used for data analysis of all categorical variables,and overall survival(OS)was calculated by the Kaplan-Meier method.A multivariate analysis was performed using the Cox model.RESULTS:There were 42(3.1%)and 1293(96.9%)cases in the younger group and older group,respectively.Univariate analysis showed that the 5-and10-year OS in the younger group were 33.9%and26.1%,respectively,and those in the older group were60.1%and 52.2%,respectively.Younger group had poor survival(χ2=14.146,P=0.000).Multivariate analysis revealed that age was not a dependent factor for prognosis(OR=0.866,95%CI:0.592-1.269,P=0.461).Stratified analysis indicated that in stageⅢandⅣdisease,the 5-and 10-year OS were 24.6%and14.8%in the younger group,and 40.4%and 33.3%in the older group,respectively,with a significant difference between the two groups(χ2=5.101,P=0.024).In the subgroup of radical surgery,the 5-and 10-year OS were 44.3%and 34.2%in the younger group,and69.6%and 60.5%in the older group,with a difference being significant between the two groups(χ2=7.830,P=0.005).CONCLUSION:Compared with older patients,the younger patients have lower survival,especially in the subgroups of stageⅢandⅣdisease and radical surgery.Jian-Fei Fu Yan-Qin Huang Jiao Yang Cheng-Hao Yi Hai-Long Chen Shu Zheng 2013World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,44:11
17Parameters selection in gene selection using Gaussian kernel support vector machines by genetic algorithm显示文摘In microarray-based cancer classification, gene selection is an important issue owing to the large number of variables and small number of samples as well as its non-linearity. It is difficult to get satisfying results by using conventional linear sta- tistical methods. Recursive feature elimination based on support vector machine (SVM RFE) is an effective algorithm for gene selection and cancer classification, which are integrated into a consistent framework. In this paper, we propose a new method to select parameters of the aforementioned algorithm implemented with Gaussian kernel SVMs as better alternatives to the common practice of selecting the apparently best parameters by using a genetic algorithm to search for a couple of optimal parameter. Fast implementation issues for this method are also discussed for pragmatic reasons. The proposed method was tested on two repre- sentative hereditary breast cancer and acute leukaemia datasets. Visual SLAM is essential and plays a significant role in supporting automated and intelligent applications of robots. This paper presents the key techniques of visual SLAM, summarizes the current research status, and analyses the new trends of visual SLAM research and development. 19Feature extraction of welding defect based on machine vision显示文摘There are many flaws in welding images such as noise, low contrast, and blurred edges, which affect feature extraction from welding defect regions and impede classification and recognition of welding defects. To deal with the complexity of welding defect images, this paper proposes an effective method for extracting the features of welding defect regions. Firstly, image preprocessing, image segmentation and image background removal are carried out to a welding image in order to extract welding defect region; and then an 8-connected-component labeling method is used to mark defect regions. Finally, it extracts geometric characteristic parameters including perimeter, area, circularity and others. The experimental result shows that the method proposed in the paper can accurately extract the features of welding defect regions. 20An SAO-based approach to technology evolution analysis using patent information: Case study—graphene sensors显示文摘Purpose: This paper introduces an approach to technology evolution analysis using patent information based on Subject-Action-Object(SAO) structures.Design/methodology/approach: First, SAO structures were extracted from patent documents and were cleaned. Second, several dimension-reduction techniques were used to generate technology topics. Then, the hierarchical relationships between technology topics were calculated based on patent clustering.
