1Composition and solution properties of fluorinated block copolymers and their surface structures in the solid state显示文摘A series of diblock copolymers composed of methyl methacrylate and 2-perfluorooctylethyl methacry-late(PMMA144-b-PFMAn) with various PFMA block lengths were prepared by atom transfer radical po-lymerization(ATRP).The surface structures and properties of these polymers in the solid state and in solution were investigated using contact angle measurement,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),sum frequency generation(SFG) vibrational spectroscopy,surface tension and dynamic laser light scattering(DLS).It was found that with increasing PFMA block length,water and oil repellency de-creased,the ratio of F/C increased with increasing film depth,and the degree of ordered packing of the perfluoroalkyl side chains at the surface decreased.When the number of PFMA block units reached 10,PMMA segments were detected at the copolymer surface,which was attributed to the PFMA block length affecting molecular aggregation structure of the copolymer in the solution and the interfacial structure at the air/liquid interface,which in turn affects surface structure formation during solution solidification.The results suggest that copolymer solution properties play an important role in struc-ture formation on the solid surface.NI HuaGang XUE DongWu WANG XiaoFang ZHANG Wei WANG XinPing SHEN ZhiQuan 2009Science China Chemistry2009,52,2:6
2One-step preparation of polyimide-inlaid amine-rich porous organic block copolymer for efficient removal of chlorophenols from aqueous solution显示文摘A novel polyimide-inlaid amine-rich porous organic block copolymer(PI-b-ARPOP) was prepared via one-step polymerization by using different molar ratios of melamine(MA)/terephthalaldehyde(TA)/pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA), at molar ratios of 4/3/1, 4/2/2 and 4/1/3. The copolymer contained both aminal groups belonging to ARPOP and imide groups belonging to PI, and the bonding styles of the monomers and growth orientations of the polymeric chains were diversiform, forming an excellent porous structure. Notably, MA/TA/PMDA(4/2/2) had a surface area and pore volume of 487.27 m^2/g and 1.169 cm^3/g,respectively. The adsorption performance of the materials towards 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP) in ultra-pure water was systematically studied. The pH value of 7 was optimal in aqueous solution. Na^+ and Cl^-ions did not negatively affect the adsorption process, while humic acid(HA) slightly decreased the capacity. The equilibrium time was 40 sec, and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 282.49 mg/g at 298 K. The removal process was endothermic and spontaneous, and the copolymer could maintain its porous structure and consistent performance after regeneration by treatment with alkali. Moreover, to further assess the practical applicability of the material, the adsorption performance towards 2,4-DCP in river water was also investigated. 3SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF HYDROPHOBIC-HYDROPHILIC MULTIBLOCK COPOLYMERS FOR BIOMEDICAL APPLICATIONS显示文摘The synthesis and characterization of amphiphilic copolymers of poly(dimethyl siloxane)(PDMS),poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO), and heparin(Hep) were investigated. These multiblock copolymers wereidentified using ~1H-NMR, FTIR, end group analysis, and sulfur elemental analysis. The multiblockcopolymers were characterized by using DSC and X-ray diffractometry. The glass transition temperature,crystalline melting characteristics, annealing effect, and cold crystallization of the block copolymers weredetermined by DSC. 4Modular synthesis of a block copolymer with a cleavable linkage via “click” chemistry显示文摘A diblock copolymer poly(ethylene glycol)-block-polystyrene or PEG-b-PS with an olefinic double bond at the PEG and PS junction has been prepared by modular synthesis via'click'chemistry.This involved the synthesis of PS by atom transfer radical polymerization and the nucleophilic substitution of the terminal bromide group with azide to yield azide-terminated PS. PEG with an alkynyl terminal group was prepared from reacting carboxyl-end-functionalized PEG with 4-hydroxybut-2-enyl prop-2-ynyl succinate,which contained an alkynyl group as well as an olefin group.The PS and PEG polymers were linked via the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of the end azide and alkyne groups.The obtained copolymer was characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy and size exclusion chromatography(SEC).SEC analysis indicated that the diblock copolymer produced could be readily cleaved by ozonolysis to regenerate the constituent homopolymers.Fu, Yu Liu, GuoJun 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,5:1
5Chemoenzymatic synthesis amphiphilic H-shaped copolymer and its self-assembly behavior显示文摘ABA triblock copolymers were synthesized by dihydroxyl-capped PEO initiated enzymatic ring-opening polymerization (eROP) of ε-CL in the presence of biocatalyst Novozyme 435. The chains ended with hydroxyl of block copolymers were modified by the esterification of 2,2-dichloro acetyl chloride (DCAC) to obtain the tetrafunctional macroinitiator,which was used in the ATRP of 4-vinylpyridine (4-VP). CuCl/HMTETA was used as the catalyst system in the ATRP of 4-VP to acquire the H-shaped block copolymers (PVP)2-b-PCL-b-PEG-b-PCL-b-(PVP)2. The H-shaped block copolymers were characterized by FTIR,NMR,and GPC. Copolymers with high molecular weights (Mn = 46121 g/mol) and low polydispersities (Mw/Mn = 1.30) were prepared. Moreover,the morphology of the copolymer was examined with dynamic light scattering (DLS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). 6Macroscopic lamellae orientations of diblock copolymer induced by dynamic shear显示文摘Computer simulation based on the coupled map lattices has been carried out for morphologies of the diblock copolymeric system under applied periodic shear deformation.The main effort is concentrated on the influence of pre-annenling history on the lamellae orientations in dynamically sheared diblock copolymers.It is found that whatever the quenching temperature is,the perpendicular orientation (i.e.the lamellae normal is parallel to the vorticity axis) is always observed if the dynamic shear deformation with shear amplitude F=1.0 and reduced shear frequency=0.005 is applied during annealing.In contrast to that,the parallel orientation (i.e.the lamellae normal is parallel to the velocity gradient direction) is observed if the dynamic shear with the same amplitude and frequency is applied to a thoroughly annealed (with the annealing time t>4 000) diblock copolymer.Therefore,it is pointed out that the selection of lamellar orientations in dynamically sheared diblock copolymers is not solely dependent on张红东 杨玉良 1997Science China Chemistry1997,40,1:1
7The Location-influenced Fluorescence of AIEgens in the Microphaseseparated Structures显示文摘The fluorescent probe techniques have been widely applied.When the fluorescence probes are selectively located in nanostructures,the fluorescence properties are highly influenced by the environment.Here,we systematically studied the location-influenced fluorescence of AIEgens in the microphase-separated structures.The AIEgen tetraphenylethene (TPE) was doped into polystyrene-bpolyisoprene (PS-b-Pl).TPE was selectively located in the PS nanodomains.The TPE fluorenscence was affected by the structural relaxation of PS when investigated in a wide range of temperatures,including the glass transiton and secondary transiton.When TPE groups were selectively located in the PI nanodomains,the fluorenscence was affected by the glass transitons of PI and PS blocks.Amphiphilic TPE derivative was located at the interface of the assembly.The fluorescence emission was influenced by the main transition and secondary transiton of PS blocks,as well as the main transition of PI blocks.These results would give new understanding of the interrelation between fluorescence probes and the nanostructures.Ya-Fang Zhi Chao Li Ze-Hua Song Zhong-Jia Yang Hong-Wei Ma Long-Cheng Gao 2019Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2019,37,11:1

11Synthesis and characterization of diblock copolymer of butadiene and 2-ethyl-2-oxazoline显示文摘By mechanism transformation (anionic cationic) polymerization, diblock copolymer of butadiene and 2 ethyl 2 oxazoline (PBd b PEOx) was synthesized in two steps. The first step is the polymerization of butadiene block capped with ethylene oxide and its tosylation; the second step is the cationic ring opening polymerization of 2 ethyl 2 oxazoline. The products were characterized by various methods, such as IR, 1HNMR, DMA, TEM and SAXS. The copolymer sample was found to have a uniform composition as a function of elution volume over the major portion of sample from GPC method. However within one elution fraction, the copolymer chains, although having the same hydrodynamic volume, may have some difference in composition. Two fractions with different composition were obtained by precipitation in ethanol. 15Synthesis of Cobalt Containing Block Copolymers Via Ring Opening Metathesis Polymerizastion (ROMP)显示文摘In order to realize a metal containing nano-structure, a block-copolymer containing alkynyl groups in one block was designed and synthesized by living ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) technique. The newly developed bis-3-bromopyridine complex of Grubbs catalyst was employed in the series of polymerization and it yielded the desired polymers with great molecular weight control and narrow polydispersities. The characteristics of the block copolymers were investigated by gel permeation chromatography, H- and 13H- NMR spectroscopy. Complexation of the alkynyl group containing block copolymers by treatment with dicobalt octacarbonyl occurred smoothly in 5 min at room temperature. GPC analysis before and after cobalt complexation indicated a significant increase of the hydrodynamic volume. On the basis of this two-phase model a number of studies has been made varying the nature and length of hard and soft blocks. After reviewing some papers published in this field, it may be concluded that the system in which properties of thermoplastic elastomers are exhibited can be generally divided into three catalogues, they are polyurethane, polyether-ester, polyesteramide elastomers. 19POLYCAPROLACTONE-POLY (ETHYLENE GLYCOL) BLOCK COPOLYMER Ⅲ DRUG RELEASE BEHAVIOR显示文摘The drug release behavior of degradable polymer--polycaprolactone-poly (ethyleneglycol)block copolymer(PCE) in vitro was investigated by using 5-Fluoro-uracil (5-Fu) asa model drug under a condition of pH 7. 4 at 37C. It is found that the release rate of 5-Fufrom PCE increased with increasing polyether content of the copolymer. The results showthat the increasing polyether content of the copolymer caused increasing hydrophilicity anddecreasing crystallinity of the PCE copolymer. 20SYNTHESES OF STYRENE-METHYL METHACRYLATE BLOCK COPOLYMER BY POLYAZOAMIDE AS INITIATOR显示文摘Polyazoamide(PAA) was used as initiator to prepare block copolymer P(MMA-b-St) byfree radical polymerization. The fraction of block copolymer was about 50%. The structureof the block-copolymer was characterized by IR and the results of ~1H-NMR and GPCshowed that the content of the block and the molecular weight (M_w) of the prepolymerand block copolymer could be controlled by varying the mol ratio of styrene/PAA andMMA/prepolymer.
