Using the Fractal Theory to establish the fractal structure models, we analyze the complexity and stability of various landscapes’ distribution with fractal dimension value. The spatial distribution characteristics of landscape mosaic structure are also expounded. | 4 | Identification of a Cytoplasmic Male Sterile Line NEA in Brassica napus L.and Its Genetic Studies显示文摘Male sterile NEA plants were identified in progenies of the radiated 92P×Aggregate-silique in Brassica napus L. In 1993. Their progeny plants from test crossing and open pollination were 100% male sterile. The double-low male sterile lines JL-4 and JL-18 were bred through successive backcrossing of the double -low variety No. 4 and No. 18 in Brassica napus L. To NEA. Restorer lines 6720 and 6722 with significant heterosis in F1 were developed. | 10 | A new perylene diimide-based colorimetric and fluorescent sensor for selective detection of Cu^(2+) cation显示文摘A new perylene diimide (PDI) ligand (1) functionalized with a dipicolylethylenediamine (DPEN) moiety was synthesized and first used as a colorimetric and fluorometric dual-channel sensor to specifically detect the presence of Cu2+ over a wide range of other cations. The solution of 1 (10 μmol/L) upon ad-dition of Cu2+ displayed distinguishing pink color compared with other cations including K+,Ni2+,Ca2+,Mn2+,Na+,Sr2+,Zn2+,Co2+,Cd2+,Mg2+,Cr3+,Ag+,and Ba2+,indicating the sensitivity and selectivity of 1 to Cu2+. Thus,the advantage of this assay is that naked-eye detection of Cu2+ becomes possible. More-over,among these metal ions investigated,only Cu2+ quenched more than half fluorescent intensity of 1. | 12 | Two Village Ecosystems in the Upper Minjiang River, China: A Comparison of Emergy Flow显示文摘By using the concept of emergy and method of emergy analysis, this paper has studied two mountain settlement (village) ecosystems in two aspects: input and output of energy in the agro-systems and the use of fuel energy. The result reveals that the settlement agro-system in the valley of Minjiang River is better in both structure and function than that at the so-called half-high mountain. The former one is higher than the latter one regarding such indices as emergy yield ratio, labor productivity of emergy and emergy sustainable index, but lower than the latter one regarding environmental loading ratio.
