1Preliminary experience with drug-coated balloon angioplasty in primary percutaneous coronary intervention显示文摘We evaluated the clinical feasibility of using drugcoated balloon(DCB) angioplasty in patients undergoingprimary percutaneous coronary intervention(PPCI). Between January 2010 to September 2014,89 STelevation myocardial infarction patients(83% male,mean age 59 ± 14 years) with a total of 89 coronary lesions were treated with DCB during PPCI. Clinical outcomes are reported at 30 d follow-up. Left anterior descending artery was the most common target vessel for PCI(37%). Twenty-eight percent of the patients had underlying diabetes mellitus. Mean left ventricular ejection fraction was 44% ± 11%. DCB-only PCI was the predominant approach(96%) with the remaining 4% of patients receiving bail-out stenting. Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction(TIMI) 3 flow was successfully restored in 98% of patients. An average of 1.2 ± 0.5 DCB were used per patient,with mean DCB diameter of 2.6 ± 0.5 mm and average length of 23.2 ± 10.2 mm. At 30-d follow-up,there were 4 deaths(4.5%). No patients experienced abrupt closure of the infarctrelated artery and there was no reported target-lesion failure. 2拔牙后不同类型骨缺损行位点保存术骨量恢复的CBCT比较研究显示文摘目的:探讨拔牙位点保存术在恢复骨缺损中的作用以及对不同类型骨缺损可能存在的骨增量差异。方法:选取广西医科大学附属口腔医院种植科就诊的患者80例,分为实验组和对照组,每组40例。实验组在行拔牙术的同时行拔牙位点保存术,对照组拔牙术后不填充骨替代材料;两组再根据拔牙窝牙槽骨缺损的类型分为4个亚组:拔牙窝为一壁骨缺损(A组)、二壁骨缺损(B组)、三壁骨缺损(C组)、四壁骨缺损(D组)。实验组无膜拔牙后采用脱矿的牛骨混合10%骨胶原(Bio-Oss Collagen?)保存牙槽骨,所有研究对象拔牙术前行锥形束计算机断层扫描(CBCT),6个月后随访。结果:实验组平均骨高度较术前增加,牙槽骨平均宽度较估计原始骨轮廓恢复72.79%~88.08%,对照组牙槽骨平均宽度较估计原始骨轮廓恢复57.20%~84.91%。结论:拔牙位点保存术对牙槽骨的恢复具有明显效果,可以有效减少拔牙后牙槽骨骨吸收。Ye Myat Thu 李晓 蒋延波 Aung Than Oo 唐礼 2020广西医科大学学报2020,37,1:4

6Angiotensin type 2 receptor activation promotes browning ofwhite adipose tissue and brown adipogenesis显示文摘Brown adipose tissue dissipates energy in the form of heat.Recent studies have shown that adult humans possess both classical brown and beige adipocytes(brown-like adipocytes in white adipose tissue,WAT),and stimulating brown and beige adipocyte formation can be a new avenue to treat obesity.Angiotensin II(AngII)is a peptide hormone that plays important roles in energy metabolism via its angiotensin type 1 or type 2 receptors(AT1R and AT2R).Adipose tissue is a major source of AngII and expresses both types of its receptors,implying the autocrine and paracrine role of AngII in regulating adipose functions and self-remodeling.Here,based on the in vitro studies on primary cultures of mouse white adipocytes,we report that,AT2R activation,either by AngII or AT2R agonist(C21),induces white adipocyte browning,by increasing PPARγexpression,at least in part,via ERK1/2,PI3kinase/Akt and AMPK signaling pathways.It is also found that AngII–AT2R enhances brown adipogenesis.In the in vivo studies on mice,administration of AT1R antagonist(ZD7155)or AT2R agonist(C21)leads to the increase of WAT browning,body temperature and serum adiponectin,as well as the decrease of WAT mass and the serum levels of TNFα,triglycerides and free fatty acids.In addition,AT2R-induced browning effect is also observed in human white adipocytes,as evidenced by the increased UCP1 expression and oxygen consumption.Finally,we provide evidence that AT2R plays important roles in hormone T3-induced white adipose browning.This study,for the first time,reveals the browning and brown adipogenic effects of AT2R and suggests a potential therapeutic target to combat obesity and related metabolic disorders.Aung Than Shaohai Xu Ru Li MelvinKhee-Shing Leow Lei Sun Peng Chen 2017Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2017,2,1:1

9Fish Species Diversity in Upstream and Downstream of Sittaung River,Bago Region,Myanmar显示文摘This research was conducted to generate a primary database on ichthyofauna,distribution and diversities in the upstream and downstream segments of Sittaung River in Bago Region of Myanmar.This study contributes to the information needed on the distribution of river fish in Myanmar.Fish diversities are assessed by calculating the various diversities indices between December,2018 and November,2019.A total of 65 fish species belonging to 9 orders,23 families and 49 genera were recorded.All 65 fish species were found in upstream segment but only 60 species of them were found in downstream segment of the river.In all study sites,Shannon diversity index had value above 3 indicating that the structure of habitat was stable and balanced.Simpson’s index values were close to 1 in all sites indicating that the species richness in the region was satisfactory.The abundance all of above 5%of total catch of Mystus vittatus,M.pulcher,M.cavasius and Erethistes pusillus in their feeding habitat suggested that their upstream and downstream habitats provided suitable feeding conditions.Anguilla bengalensis,Tenualosa ilisha,Mystus gulio,Rita rita and Silonia silondia were least abundant all below 0.1%of total catch showing they could be impacted by unwise anthropogenic activities.Assessing fish species diversity is thus very important to conserve and manage and promote the health of river ecosystem that is necessary for the migration of fish species.Toe Toe Soe San San Oo Khin Thuzar Win Nyo Nyo Aung Aye Aye Su Khine Wai Yin Nu Hninn Kyaing Win Win Than 2020Journal of Environmental Science and Engineering(A)2020,9,4:0

11Effect of Photoanode Modification on Charge Transport,Recombination and Efficiency of Dye Sensitized SolarCells Using Synthetic Organic Dyes显示文摘The DSSCs (Dye-sensitized solar cells) with photoanode using different sizes of particulate TiO2 (18 nm, 30 nm and 200 nm) have been fabricated. The synthetic organic dyes (LEG4) was used as photosensitizer. The present work mainly investigates the influence of TiO2 photoanode modification on light absorption, charge transport and carrier recombination which are then correlated to the device efficiency measured under AM1.5 solar irradiance. The DSSCs with photoanode using larger 200-nm-TiO2 as light scatterer outperform other devices without larger TiO2. It is attributed to an increase in harvesting photons (by UV-vis spectroscopic measurement) via light scattering, smaller ideality factor (by dark current analysis), thus lower recombination possibility, lower charge transfer resistance and longer electron lifetime (by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) which results in longer electron diffusion and higher charge collection efficiency. 13Knowledge,access and utilization of bednets among stable and seasonal migrants in an artemisinin resistance containment area of Myanmar显示文摘Background:Myanmar lies in the Greater Mekong sub-region of South-East Asia faced with the challenge of emerging resistance to artemisinin combination therapies(ACT).Migrant populations are more likely than others to spread ACT resistance.A vital intervention to reduce malaria transmission,resistance spread and eliminate malaria is the use of bed nets.Among seasonal and stable migrants in an artemisinin resistance containment region of Myanmar,we compared a)their household characteristics,b)contact with health workers and information material,and c)household knowledge,access and utilization of bed nets.Methods:Secondary data from community-based surveys on 2484 migrant workers(2013 and 2014,Bago Region)were analyzed of which 37%were seasonal migrants.Bed net access and utilization were assessed using a)availability of at least one bed net per household,and b)one bed net per two persons,and c)proportion of household members who slept under abed net during the previous night(Indicator targets=100%).Results:Over 70%of all migrants were from unstable work settings with short transitory stays.Average household size was five(range 1-25)and almost half of all households had children under-five years.Roughly 10%of migrants were night-time workers.Less than 40%of households had contact with health workers and less than 30%had exposure to information education and communication(IEC)materials,the latter being significantly lower among seasonal migrants.About 70%of households were aware of the importance of insecticide-treated bed-nets/long-lasting insecticidal nets(ITNs/LLINs),but knowledge on insecticide impregnation and retreatment of ITNs was poor(<10%).Although over 95%of households had access to at least one bed net,the number with one bed net per two persons was grossly inadequate(13%for stable migrants and 9%for seasonal migrants,P=0.001).About half of all household members slept under a bed net during the previous night.Conclusions:This study reveals important short-falls in knowledge,access and utilization of bed nets among migrants in Myanmar.Possible ways forward include frequent distribution campaigns to compensate for short transitory stays,matching household distributions to household size,enhanced information campaigns and introducing legislation to make mosquito repellents available for night-time workers at plantations and farms.Better understanding through qualitative research is also merited.Wint Phyo Than Tin Oo Khin Thet Wai Aung Thi Philip Owiti Binay Kumar Hemant Deepak Shewade Rony Zachariah 2017Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1:0
