| 1 | Chemical composition of PM_(2.5) during winter in Tianjin,China显示文摘PM2.5 samples for 24 h were collected during winter in Tianjin,China. The ambient mass concentration and chemical composition of the PM2.5 were determined. Ionic species were analyzed by ion chromatog-raphy,while carbonaceous species were determined with the IMPROVE thermal optical reectance(TOR) method,and inorganic elements were measured by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spec-trometer. The daily PM2.5 mass concentrations ranged from 48.2 to 319.2 g/m3 with an arithmetic average of 144.6 g/m3. The elevated PM2.5 in winter was mostly attributed to combustion sources such as vehicle exhaust,heating,cooking and industrial emissions,low wind speeds and high relative humidity(RH) ,which were favorable for pollutant accumulation and formation of secondary pollutants. By chem-ical mass balance,it was estimated that about 89.1% of the PM2.5 mass concentrations were explained by carbonaceous species,secondary particles,crustal matters,sea salt and trace elements. Organic material was the largest contributor,accounting for about 32.7% of the total PM2.5 mass concentrations. | 2 | Programmable time-domain digital-coding metasurface for non-linear harmonic manipulation and new wireless communication systems显示文摘Optical non-linear phenomena are typically observed in natural materials interacting with light at high intensities, and they benefit a diverse range of applications from communication to sensing. However,controlling harmonic conversion with high efficiency and flexibility remains a major issue in modern optical and radio-frequency systems. Here, we introduce a dynamic time-domain digital-coding metasurface that enables efficient manipulation of spectral harmonic distribution. By dynamically modulating the local phase of the surface reflectivity, we achieve accurate control of different harmonics in a highly programmable and dynamic fashion, enabling unusual responses, such as velocity illusion. As a relevant application, we propose and realize a novel architecture for wireless communication systems based on the time-domain digital-coding metasurface, which largely simplifies the architecture of modern communication systems, at the same time yielding excellent performance for real-time signal transmission. | 4 | Distributed cooperative guidance for multiple missiles with fixed and switching communication topologies显示文摘This study investigates cooperative guidance problems for multiple missiles with fixed and switching directed communication topologies. A two-step guidance strategy is proposed to realize the simultaneous attack. In the first step, a distributed cooperative guidance law is designed using local neighboring information for multiple missiles to achieve consensus on range-to-go and leading angle. The second step begins when the consensus of multiple missiles is realized. During the second step, multiple missiles disconnect from each other and hit the target using the proportional navigation guidance law. First, based on the local neighboring communications, a sufficient condition for multiple missiles to realize simultaneous attack with a fixed communication topology is presented, where the topology is only required to have a directed spanning tree. Then,the results are extended to the case of switching communication topologies. | 5 | Curative effect of warming kidney and fortifying spleen recipe on diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the curative effect of a recipe for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen on diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D).METHODS:This multi-center,double-blind,randomized,and controlled trial included 240 patients that met the inclusion criterion and were then divided into two groups of 120.Patients in the treatment group(group A)took modified Sishen Wan orally for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen and patients in the control group(group B)took a placebo,Chao Maiya,for 4 weeks.28 days after withdrawal,there was a 6-month follow-up to observe patient recurrence condition.The total effective rate,curative effect,and recurrence rate were evaluated after treatment.RESULTS:There was statistical difference(P<0.01)between the two groups in total effective rate(92.24%in the treatment group and 49.07%in the control group),in curative effect of TCM syndrome(90.52%and 47.22%,respectively),and in the recurrence rate(15.79%and 56.86%,respectively)within6 months after treatment.CONCLUSION:Modified Sishen Wan,for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen,can effectively treat IBS-D and better control its recurrence. | Xiaolan Su Yanping Tang Jing Zhang Yuebin Dong Wei Wei Yibing Bai Yong Liu | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013，33，5： | 22 |

| 11 | Prognosis-related classifi cation and dynamic monitoring of immune status in patients with sepsis:A prospective observational study显示文摘BACKGROUND:The dynamic monitoring of immune status is crucial to the precise and individualized treatment of sepsis.In this study,we aim to introduce a model to describe and monitor the immune status of sepsis and to explore its prognostic value.METHODS:A prospective observational study was carried out in Zhongshan Hospital,Fudan University,enrolling septic patients admitted between July 2016 and December 2018.Blood samples were collected at days 1 and 3.Serum cytokine levels(e.g.,tumor necrosis factor-α[TNF-α],interleukin-10[IL-10])and CD14+monocyte human leukocyte antigen-D-related(HLA-DR)expression were measured to serve as immune markers.Classifi cation of each immune status,namely systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS),compensatory anti-inflammatory response syndrome(CARS),and mixed antagonistic response syndrome(MARS),was defined based on levels of immune markers.Changes of immune status were classifi ed into four groups which were stabilization(SB),deterioration(DT),remission(RM),and non-remission(NR).RESULTS:A total of 174 septic patients were enrolled including 50 non-survivors.Multivariate analysis discovered that IL-10 and HLA-DR expression levels at day 3 were independent prognostic factors.Patients with MARS had the highest mortality rate.Immune status of 46.1%patients changed from day 1 to day 3.Among four groups of immune status changes,DT had the highest mortality rate,followed by NR,RM,and SB with mortality rates of 64.7%,42.9%,and 11.2%,respectively.CONCLUSIONS:Severe immune disorder defi ned as MARS or deterioration of immune status defi ned as DT lead to the worst outcomes.The preliminary model of the classifi cation and dynamic monitoring of immune status based on immune markers has prognostic values and is worthy of further investigation. | Jun Yin Yao Chen Jun-ling Huang Lei Yan Zhong-shu Kuang Ming-ming Xue Si Sun Hao Xiang Yan-yan Hu Zhi-min Dong Chao-yang Tong Chun-xue Bai Zhen-ju Song | 2021 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2021，12，3： | 16 |
| 12 | Effect of Kuanxiong Aerosol(宽胸气雾剂)on Patients with Angina Pectoris:A Non-inferiority Multi-center Randomized Controlled Trial显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the effect and safety of Kuanxiong Aerosol(宽胸气雾剂, KA) on patients with angina pectoris. Methods: Block randomization was performed to randomly allocate 750 patients into KA(376 cases) and control groups(374 cases). During an angina attack, the KA group received 3 consecutive sublingual sprays of KA(0.6 m L per spray). The control group received 1 sublingual nitroglycerin tablet(NT, 0.5 mg/tablet). Log-rank tests and Kaplan-Meier estimations were used to estimate the angina remission rates at 6 time-points after treatment(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and >5 min). Logistic regression analysis was performed to observe the factors influencing the rate of effective angina remission, and the remission rates and incidences of adverse reactions were compared for different Canadian Cardiovascular Society(CCS) classes of angina. Results: The 5-min remission rates in the KA and control groups were not significantly different(94.41% vs. 90.64%, P>0.05). The angina CCS class significantly influenced the rate of remission (95% confidence interval = 0.483–0.740, P<0.01). In the CCS subgroup analysis, the 3-and 5-min remission rates for KA and NT were similar in the CCSⅠ and Ⅳ subgroups(P>0.05), while they were significantly better for KA in the CCSⅡ and Ⅲ subgroups(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Furthermore, the incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the KA group than in the control group for the CCSⅡ and Ⅲ subgroups(9.29% vs. 26.22%, 10.13% vs. 20.88%, P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusions: KA is not inferior to NT in the remission of angina. | 16 | Genotypic Characterization of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Pigs and Retail Foods in China显示文摘Objective To investigate the genotypic diversity of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) isolated from pigs and retail foods from different geographical areas in China and further to study the routes and rates of transmission of this pathogen from animals to food. Methods Seventy-one MRSA isolates were obtained from pigs and retail foods and then characterized by multi-locus sequencing typing(MLST), spa typing, multiple-locus variable number of tandem repeat analysis(MLVA), pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE), and antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Results All isolated MRSA exhibited multi-drug resistance(MDR). Greater diversity was found in food-associated MRSA(7 STs, 8 spa types, and 10 MLVA patterns) compared to pig-associated MRSA(3 STs, 1 spa type, and 6 MLVA patterns). PFGE patterns were more diverse for pig-associated MRSA than those of food-associated isolates(40 vs. 11 pulse types). Among the pig-associated isolates, CC9-ST9-t899-MC2236 was the most prevalent clone(96.4%), and CC9-ST9-t437-MC621(20.0%) was the predominant clone among the food-associated isolates. The CC9-ST9 isolates showed significantly higher antimicrobial resistance than other clones. Interestingly, CC398-ST398-t034 clone was identified from both pig-and food-associated isolates. Of note, some community-and hospital-associated MRSA strains(t030, t172, t1244, and t4549) were also identified as food-associated isolates. Conclusion CC9-ST9-t899-MC2236-MDR was the most predominant clone in pigs, but significant genetic diversity was observed in food-associated MRSA. | 17 | Smart metasurface with self-adaptively reprogrammable functions显示文摘Intelligence at either the material or metamaterial level is a goal that researchers have been pursuing.From passive to active,metasurfaces have been developed to be programmable to dynamically and arbitrarily manipulate electromagnetic(EM)wavefields.However,the programmable metasurfaces require manual control to switch among different functionalities.Here,we put forth a smart metasurface that has self-adaptively reprogrammable functionalities without human participation.The smart metasurface is capable of sensing ambient environments by integrating an additional sensor(s)and can adaptively adjust its EM operational functionality through an unmanned sensing feedback system.As an illustrative example,we experimentally develop a motion-sensitive smart metasurface integrated with a three-axis gyroscope,which can adjust self-adaptively the EM radiation beams via different rotations of the metasurface.We develop an online feedback algorithm as the control software to make the smart metasurface achieve single-beam and multibeam steering and other dynamic reactions adaptively.The proposed metasurface is extendable to other physical sensors to detect the humidity,temperature,illuminating light,and so on.Our strategy will open up a new avenue for future unmanned devices that are consistent with the ambient environment. | Qian Ma Guo Dong Bai Hong Bo Jing Cheng Yang Lianlin Li Tie Jun Cui | 2019 | Light(Science & Applications)2019，8，1： | 13 |

To provide an efficient and easy-to-use platform for managing huge sequence data, here we present Genome Sequence Archive(GSA; http://gffzzdbc7b6aaae734bddh99xb609qukq06qpc.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/gsa or http://gffzz4eaf941a184140e3h99xb609qukq06qpc.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn), a data repository for archiving raw sequence data. In compliance with data standards and structures of the International Nucleotide Sequence Database Collaboration(INSDC), GSA adopts four data objects(Bio Project, Bio Sample,Experiment, and Run) for data organization, accepts raw sequence reads produced by a variety of sequencing platforms, stores both sequence reads and metadata submitted from all over the world,and makes all these data publicly available to worldwide scientific communities. | 19 | Formation and evolution of the Archean continental crust of China:A review显示文摘The mainland of China is composed of the North China Craton,the South China Craton,the Tarim Craton and other young orogehie belts.Amongst the three cratons,the North China Craton has been studied most and noted for its widely-distributed Archean basement rocks.In this paper,we assess and compare the geology,rock types,formation age and geochemical composition features of the Archean basements of the three cratons.They have some common characteristics,including the fact that the crustal rocks prior to the Paleoarchean and the supracrustal rocks of the Neoarehean were preserved,and Tonalite-Trondhjemtite- Granodiorite (TTG)magmatism and tectono-magmatism occurred at about 2.7 Ga and about 2.5 Ga respectively.The Tarim Craton and the North China Craton show more similarities in their early Precambrian crustal evolution.Significant findings on the Archean basement of the North China Craton are coneluded to be:(1)the tectonic regime in the early stage (>3.1 Ga)is distinct from modem plate tectonics;(2)the continental crust accretion occurred mostly from the late Mesoarchean to the early Neoarehean period;(3)a huge linear tectonic belt already existed in the late Neoarchean period,suggesting the beginning of plate tectonics;and (4)the preliminary cratonization had already been completed by about 2.5 Ga. Hadean detrital zircons were found at a total of nine locations within China.Most of them show clear oscillatory zoning,sharing similar textures with magmatic zircons from interrnediate-felsic magmatic rocks. | 20 | On-treatment monitoring of liver fibrosis with serum hepatitis B core-related antigen in chronic hepatitis B显示文摘BACKGROUND Non-invasive evaluation for liver fibrosis is clinically important,especially in patients with undetectable hepatitis B virus(HBV)DNA treated with nucleoside analogs.AIM To clarify the monitoring power of hepatitis B core-related antigen(HBcrAg)for hepatic histologic changes in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB)treated with entecavir.METHODS This prospective multicenter study used multiple ordinal and multivariate logistics regression analysis to assess variables associated with Ishak fibrosis score and regression for fibrosis regression,respectively,in 403 CHB patients,including 374 with entecavir for 72 weeks(291 underwent paired liver biopsy)and 29 as controls.RESULTS Level of HBcrAg correlated negatively with liver fibrosis staging(γ=-0.357,P<0.001)in hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)-positive patients,and positively with liver fibrosis staging in HBeAg-negative patients.Higher HBcrAg concentration was associated with younger age,HBeAg positive status,high HBV DNA loads,high level of hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)and higher necroinflammation,but not with HBV genotype.Serum concentration of HBcrAg,basal core promoter/precore(BCP/PC)mutant,quantitation of HBsAg(qHBsAg)and platelet counts were independently associated with Ishak fibrosis score on multiple ordinal regression.HBV DNA was undetectable in 88.37%of patients treated with entecavir at week 72,while their level of HBcrAg was still detectable.A greater reduction in post-treatment HBcrAg concentration was associated with the regression of hepatic fibrosis and histological improvement.HBcrAg concentration>6.33 log IU/mL at baseline and logarithmic reduction>1.03 log IU/mL at week 72 were associated with a higher chance of regression of liver fibrosis and histological improvement,respectively.CONCLUSION HBcrAg level is associated with liver fibrosis progression.HBcrAg is an excellent monitor of hepatic histological changes,especially in CHB patients treated with nucleoside analogs. | Xiu-Juan Chang Chao Sun Yan Chen Xiao-Dong Li Zu-Jiang Yu Zheng Dong Wen-Lin Bai Xiao-Dong Wang Zhi-Qin Li Da Chen Wen-Juan Du Hao Liao Qi-Yu Jiang Li-Jun Sun Yin-Yin Li Cui-Hong Zhang Dong-Ping Xu Yong-Ping Chen Qin Li Yong-Ping Yang | 2019 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2019，25，32： | 12 |
