1An Important Ornithischian Tracksite in the Early Jurassic of the Shenmu Region,Shaanxi,China显示文摘A large track site with multiple, well-preserved trackways of an Early Jurassic quadrupedal ornithischian dinosaur is the first report of Moyenisauripus-like trackways from Asia, herein named Shenmuichnus youngteilhardorum. The tracks occur in a clastic fluvial sequence in the Fuxian Formation in Shenmu County, Shaanxi Province, which is in the same general region as the discovery site of Sinoichnites,the first dinosaur track reported from China. Based on size and morphology, it is likely that Sinoichnites, which is now lost, also represents an ornithischian. The Shenmuichnus youngteilhardorum trackways show two modes of preservation: the first representing deeper tracks, with sediment rims, results in Deltapodus-like tracks, with indistinct pes digit traces and sub-circular manus traces, the second produces Moyenosauripus-like tracks, with clear tridactyl and pentadactyl digit traces in the pes and manus respectively. Thus the Shenmu trackways play a key role in resolving globally significant ichnotaxonomic problems surrounding the nomenclature of Sinoichnites, Moyenosauripus, Deltapodus and other named (Ravatichnus) and unnamed trackways from Asia, Africa and Europe. In addition they shed important light on the paleogeographical and paleoecological distribution of quadrupedal ornithischians in the Early Mesozoic. The track site has been the focus of a major excavation to transfer the trackways from their original remote location to the new Shenmu Museum, in Shenmu City. 3~1H nuclear magnetic resonance-based metabolomic study on efficacy of Qingrehuatan decoction against abundant phlegm-heat syndrome in young adults with essential hypertension显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To observe the influence of Qingrehuatan decoction(QRHT) on serum metabolic profile in young essential hypertension(YEH) patients with abundant phlegm-heat syndrome and provide a basis for treatment with the decoction.METHODS: Twelve male YEH patients were randomly selected and serum samples were collected for examination before and after 4 weeks of thetreatment with QRHT. Twelve healthy males were randomly selected and their serum samples were collected as a control. All serum samples were detected using metabolomic technology with1 H nuclear magnetic resonance. Differences in metabolites were studied by principal component analysis and partial least squares-discriminate analysis,which produced scores and loadings plots.RESULTS: After 4 weeks of treatment, serum substances could be distinguished between the YEH patients with abundant phlegm-heat syndrome and the control patients. The specific serum endogenous metabolites tended to improve after the treatment. QRHT can appropriately increase the levels of glucose, lactic acid, citric acid, high-density lipoprotein, phosphatidylcholine, glycerophosphate choline, hydroxybutyrate, alanine, and glutamate.QRHT could also decrease the levels of low-density lipoprotein/very low-density lipoprotein, lipids,N-acetyl glycoprotein, and O-acetyl glycoprotein.CONCLUSION: QRHT can effectively ameliorate metabolic disorders in YEH Patients with abundant phlegm- heat syndrome.1H NMR-based metabolomic technology can provide an objective basis for the treatment of YEH patients with abundant phlegm-heat syndrome using QRHT.Feng Xuanchao Yang Zheng Chu Yuguang Du Bai Su Mei Li Yi Wang Yinghong Jiang Chunying Hu Yuanhui 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,1:6
4Comparative study on thermal cracking characteristics and bio-oil production from different microalgae using Py-GC/MS显示文摘The yield and chemical composition of pyrolysis products of Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Schizochytrium limacinum were determined using thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA)and pyrolysis-gas chromatographic mass spectrometry(Py-GC/MS)by varying the temperature ranges.After further analysis of the total ion current(TIC)diagrams of Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Schizochytrium limacinum,it was concluded that both the pyrolysis products of each sample were mainly comprised of hydrocarbons,aromatics,fatty acids,nitrogen compounds,PAHs,phenols,etc,however,the relative content of each compound from Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Schizochytrium limacinum was different.The pyrolysis of Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Schizochytrium limacinum at 350℃ produced a maximum yield of bio-oil production(44.32%and 60.99%);moreover,Chlorella pyrenoidosa could lead to more pollutants(nitrogen compounds and PAHs)release(2.71%)compared to that of Schizochytrium limacinum(0.7%).Considering the reasonable bio-oil production and minimum release of pollutants,Schizochytrium limacinum was found to be superior for producing biofuel against Chlorella pyrenoidosa.Gang Li Fang Ji Xue Bai Yuguang Zhou Renjie Dong Zhigang Huang 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,1:5

6Numerical aerodynamic analysis of bluff bodies at a high Reynolds number with three-dimensional CFD modeling显示文摘This paper focuses on numerical simulations of bluff body aerodynamics with three-dimensional CFD(computational fluid dynamics) modeling,where a computational scheme for fluid-structure interactions is implemented.The choice of an appropriate turbulence model for the computational modeling of bluff body aerodynamics using both two-dimensional and three-dimensional CFD numerical simulations is also considered.An efficient mesh control method which employs the mesh deformation technique is proposed to achieve better simulation results.Several long-span deck sections are chosen as examples which were stationary and pitching at a high Reynolds number.With the proposed CFD method and turbulence models,the force coefficients and flutter derivatives thus obtained are compared with the experimental measurement results and computed values completely from commercial software.Finally,a discussion on the effects of oscillation amplitude on the flutter instability of a bluff body is carried out with extended numerical simulations.These numerical analysis results demonstrate that the proposed three-dimensional CFD method,with proper turbulence modeling,has good accuracy and significant benefits for aerodynamic analysis and computational FSI studies of bluff bodies.BAI YuGuang YANG Kai SUN DongKe ZHANG YuGuang KENNEDY David WILLIAMS Fred GAO XiaoWei 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,2:4
7Analysis of characteristics and predictive factors of immune checkpoint inhibitor-related adverse events显示文摘Objective:We aimed to retrospectively analyze the toxicity profiles and predictors of immune-related adverse events(irAEs)as well as the correlation between irAEs and the clinical efficacy of multi-type immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)in patients with advanced pan-cancer in a real-world setting.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed data from 105 patients with advanced pan-cancer treated with multi-type ICIs at the First Hospital of Jilin University between January 1,2016 and August 1,2020.We used logistic regression analyses to investigate the associations of irAEs with clinical baseline characteristics,blood count parameters,and biochemical indicators during treatment.Receiver operating characteristic curves were used to determine cutoff values for parameters and area under the curve values.Kaplan–Meier and Cox multivariate regression analyses were performed to estimate the relationships of baseline characteristics and irAEs with progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS).Results:A lower relative lymphocyte count(cutoff=28.5%),higher albumin level(cutoff=39.05 g/L),and higher absolute eosinophil count(AEC)(cutoff=0.175×10^(9)/L)were significantly associated with the occurrence of irAEs,among which a higher AEC(cutoff=0.205×10^(9)/L)was strongly associated with skin-related irAEs[odds ratios(ORs)=0.163,P=0.004].Moreover,a higher lactate dehydrogenase level(cutoff=237.5 U/L)was an independent predictor of irAEs of grade≥3(OR=0.083,P=0.023).In immune cell subgroup analysis,a lower absolute count of CD8+CD28−suppressor T cells(OR=0.806;95%confidence interval:0.643–1.011;P=0.062),which are regulatory T lymphocytes,was associated with the occurrence of irAEs,although the difference was not statistically significant.Furthermore,a higher percentage of CD19+B cells was associated with the occurrence of irAEs of grade≥3(P=0.02)and grade≥2(P=0.051).In addition,patients with any grade of irAE had a significantly high PFS(8.37 vs.3.77 months,hazard ratios(HR)=2.02,P=0.0038)and OS(24.77 vs.13.83 months,HR=1.84;P=0.024).Conclusions:This retrospective study reports clinical profile data for irAEs in unselected patients in a real-world setting and explored some parameters that may be potential predictive markers of the occurrence,type,or grade of irAEs in clinical practice.Evidence of a correlation between safety and efficacy may facilitate a complete assessment of the risk-benefit ratio for patients treated with ICIs.Rilan Bai Naifei Chen Xiao Chen Lingyu Li Wei Song Wei Li Yuguang Zhao Yongfei Zhang Fujun Han Zheng Lyu Jiuwei Cui 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,4:4

15Inverse analysis of thermal conductivities in transient non-homogeneous and non-linear heat conductions using BEM based on complex variable differentiation method显示文摘This paper presents a new inverse analysis approach to sensitivity analysis and material property identification in transient non-homogeneous and non-linear heat conduction Boundary Element Method (BEM) analysis based on Complex Variable Differentiation Method (CVDM). In this approach, the material properties are taken as the optimization variables, and the sensitivity coefficients are computed by CVDM. The advantages of using CVDM are that the computation of partial derivatives of an implicit function is reduced to function calculation in a complex domain, and the parameter sensitivity coefficients can be determined in a more accurate way than the traditional Finite Difference Method (FDM). Based on BEM and CVDM in evaluation of the sensitivity matrix of heat flux, the parameter such as thermal conductivity can be accurately identified. Six numerical examples are given to demonstrate the potential of the proposed approach. 17Highly Efficient Blue Organic Light-Emitting Diode Based on a Pyrene[4,5-d]Imidazole-Pyrene Molecule显示文摘Organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs),which have been recently utilized in some flat-panel display screens such as mobile phones and televisions,show many merits,including light weight,high flexibility,energy preservation,and so forth,and are considered the next-generation displays and solid-state lightings.Blue-emitting materials that can be applied in nondoped OLEDs with little efficiency roll-offs at high brightness are of great importance.Here,a highly efficient,blue-emitting material,9-phenyl10-(4-(pyren-1-yl)phenyl)-9H-pyreno[4,5-d]imidazole(PyPI-Py),is achieved using pyrene[4,5-d]imidazole and pyrene as the weak electron donor and electron acceptor,respectively.The nondoped blue OLED exhibits excellent performance with a maximum brightness of 75,687 cd m^(−2),a maximum current efficiency of 13.38 cd A−1,and a maximum external quantum efficiency(ηext)of 8.52%.Moreover,theηext is maintained at 8.35%and 8.05%at a brightness of 10,000 and 50,000 cd m^(−2),respectively,displaying extremely small efficiency roll-offs of 2.0%and 5.5%.The device characteristics are among the highest values for nondoped blue OLEDs and correspond to the best performance obtained for nondoped pyrene-based blue OLEDs.The superior performance is attributed to the proper donor–acceptor design strategy which results in a quasi-equivalent hybrid local and charge-transfer excited state with the maximum generation of an 82%fraction of singlet excitons.Yulong Liu Xiaxia Man Qing Bai Hui Liu Pengyuan Liu Ying Fu Dehua Hu Ping Lu Yuguang Ma 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,1:0
