1第二语言教育的教师自主性研究显示文摘广域教师教育研究倾向于把教师自主性等同于教师的专业自由。第二语言/外语教育虽然把教师的专业自由视为教师自主性的一个组成部分,但不是最重要的组成部分。本文首先筒述近20几年第二语言教育的学习者自主性和教师自主性研究,从中勾画出教师自主性概念的主要发展脉络。接着讨论第二语言教育教师自主性概念发展的三个主要阶段并着重分析教师作用、教师专业化和教师专业自由等三个问题。最后探讨第二语言教育教师自主性研究对开展教师教育实践和研究的启示。黄景 Phil Benson 2007外语与外语教学2007,,12:76
2Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for lower extremity motor function in patients with stroke:a systematic review and network meta-analysis显示文摘Transcranial magnetic stimulation,a type of noninvasive brain stimulation,has become an ancillary therapy for motor function rehabilitation.Most previous studies have focused on the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)on motor function in stroke patients.There have been relatively few studies on the effects of different modalities of rTMS on lower extremity motor function and corticospinal excitability in patients with stroke.The MEDLINE,Embase,Cochrane Library,ISI Science Citation Index,Physiotherapy Evidence Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Library,and ClinicalTrials.gov databases were searched.Parallel or crossover randomized controlled trials that addressed the effectiveness of rTMS in patients with stroke,published from inception to November 28,2019,were included.Standard pairwise meta-analysis was conducted using R version 3.6.1 with the“meta”package.Bayesian network analysis using the Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithm was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of different rTMS protocol interventions.Network meta-analysis results of 18 randomized controlled trials regarding lower extremity motor function recovery revealed that low-frequency rTMS had better efficacy in promoting lower extremity motor function recovery than sham stimulation.Network meta-analysis results of five randomized controlled trials demonstrated that highfrequency rTMS led to higher amplitudes of motor evoked potentials than low-frequency rTMS or sham stimulation.These findings suggest that rTMS can improve motor function in patients with stroke,and that low-frequency rTMS mainly affects motor function,whereas high-frequency rTMS increases the amplitudes of motor evoked potentials.More highquality randomized controlled trials are needed to validate this conclusion.The work was registered in PROSPERO(registration No.CRD42020147055)on April 28,2020.Yun-Juan Xie Yi Chen Hui-Xin Tan Qi-Fan Guo Benson Wui-Man Lau Qiang Gao 2021Neural Regeneration Research2021,16,6:20
3Fe_2O_3控制再燃脱硝中间产物HCN显示文摘再燃脱硝过程的中间产物HCN在燃尽过程的二次氧化对最终NO的脱除效率影响很大,有效控制HCN的转化对提高再燃脱硝的效率具有重要意义.以天然气和150目废轮胎粉为再燃燃料,利用模拟烟气在陶瓷管反应器中对典型条件下的再燃脱硝特性和中间产物HCN/NH3的生成特性进行了实验研究.结果表明在典型的再燃条件下,随着再燃区空气系数的增大(再燃燃料的给料量减少),HCN的生成量逐渐下降,再燃过程生成的HCN的浓度远大于NH3,表明HCN是主要的中间产物.进一步对HCN在不同温度下的分解特性以及在Fe2O3的催化作用下的还原特性进行了实验测试,发现Fe2O3能够有效地减少再燃过程HCN的生成,水蒸气和温度对Fe2O3的催化作用具有一定的影响.在再燃温度为1250℃,燃尽温度为1150℃,进口NO体积浓度为0.05%,烟气中水蒸气体积比为6.35%以及再燃段和燃尽段的空气系数分别为0.9和1.2条件下,当Fe的摩尔浓度为4000×10-6时,废轮胎的再燃+燃尽脱硝效率达到88%.苏亚欣 Benson B.Gathitu Chen Weiyin 2011环境科学学报2011,31,6:19

5Geometrically constrained isogeometric parameterizedlevel-set based topology optimization via trimmed elements显示文摘In this paper, an approach based on the fastpoint-in-polygon (PIP) algorithm and trimmed elements isproposed for isogeometric topology optimization (TO)with arbitrary geometric constraints. The isogeometricparameterized level-set-based TO method, which directlyuses the non-uniform rational basis splines (NURBS) forboth level set function (LSF) parameterization andobjective function calculation, provides higher accuracyand efficiency than previous methods. The integration oftrimmed elements is completed by the efficient quadraturerole that can design the quadrature points and weights forarbitrary geometric shape. 7Probiotic metabolites from Bacillus coagulans GanedenBC30^(TM) support maturation of antigen-presenting cells in vitro显示文摘AIM:To study the effects of probiotic metabolites on maturation stage of antigen-presenting immune cells.METHODS:Ganeden Bacillus coagulans 30(GBC30) bacterial cultures in log phase were used to isolate the secreted metabolite(MET) fraction.A second fraction was made to generate a crude cell-wall-enriched fraction,by centrifugation and lysis,followed by washing.A preparation of MET was subjected to size exclusion centrifugation,generating three fractions:< 3 kDa,3-30 kDa,and 30-200 kDa and activities were tested in comparison to crude MET and cell wall in primary cultures of human peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC) as a source of antigen-presenting mononuclear phagocytes.The maturation status of mononuclear phagocytes was evaluated by staining with monoclonal antibodies towards CD14,CD16,CD80 and CD86 and analyzed by flow cytometry.RESULTS:Treatment of PBMC with MET supported maturation of mononuclear phagocytes toward both macrophage and dendritic cell phenotypes.The biological activity unique to the metabolites included a reduction of CD14+ CD16+ pro-inflammatory cells,and this property was associated with the high molecular weight metabolite fraction.Changes were also seen for the dendritic cell maturation markers CD80 and CD86.On CD14dim cells,an increase in both CD80 and CD86 expression was seen,in contrast to a selective increase in CD86 expression on CD14bright cells.The co-expression of CD80 and CD86 indicates effective antigen presentation to T cells and support of T helper cell differentiation.The selective expression of CD86 in the absence of CD80 points to a role in generating T regulatory cells.CONCLUSION:The data show that a primary mechanism of action of GBC30 metabolites involves support of more mature phenotypes of antigen-presenting cells,important for immunological decision-making.Kathleen F Benson Kimberlee A Redman Steve G Carter David Keller Sean Farmer John R Endres Gitte S Jensen 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,16:8
8Geochemical fractionation and ecological risks assessment of benthic sediment-bound heavy metals from coastal ecosystems off the Equatorial Atlantic Ocean显示文摘This study determines the pollution, fractionation, and ecological risks of sediment-bound heavy metals from coastal ecosystems off the Equatorial Atlantic Ocean. Contamination Factor(CF), pollution load index(PLI), and geoaccumulation index(Igeo) were used to assess the extent of the heavy metal pollution, while the potential ecological risk was evaluated using the risks assessment code(RAC) and Hkanson potential ecological risk. The analysis revealed concentrations(mg/g, dw) of the cadmium(Cd),chromium(Cr), copper(Cu), nickel(Ni), and lead(Pb) in sediments for wet and dry seasons vary from 4.40-5.08, 14.80-21.09. 35.03-44.8, 2.14-2.28, and 172.24-196.39, respectively. The results also showed that the metal fractionation percentages in the residual, oxidizable, and reducible fractions are the most significant, while the exchangeable and carbonate bound trace metals are relatively low. The RAC values indicate no risk for Cd and Ni and low risk for other metals at all the studied sites during both seasons.Potential ecological risk analysis of the heavy metal concentrations indicates that Cd had high individual potential ecological risk, while the other metals have low risk at all investigated sites. 9Lycium barbarum polysaccharides promotes in vivo proliferation of adult rat retinal progenitor cells显示文摘Lycium barbarum is a widely used Chinese herbal medicine prescription for protection of optic nerve.However,it remains unclear regarding the effects of Lycium barbarum polysaccharides,the main component of Lycium barbarum,on in vivo proliferation of adult ciliary body cells.In this study,adult rats were intragastrically administered low-and high-dose Lycium barbarum polysaccharides(1 and 10 mg/kg)for 35 days and those intragastrically administered phosphate buffered saline served as controls.The number of Ki-67-positive cells in rat ciliary body in the Lycium barbarum polysaccharides groups,in particular low-dose Lycium barbarum polysaccharides group,was significantly greater than that in the phosphate buffered saline group.Ki-67-positive rat ciliary body cells expressed nestin but they did not express glial fibrillary acidic protein.These findings suggest that Lycium barbarum polysaccharides can promote the proliferation of adult rat retinal progenitor cells and the proliferated cells present with neuronal phenotype.Hua Wang Benson Wui-Man Lau Ning-li Wang Si-ying Wang Qing-jun Lu Raymond Chuen-Chung Chang Kwok-fai So 2015Neural Regeneration Research2015,10,12:7

11Imaging of the temporomandibular joint: An update显示文摘Imaging of the temporomandibular joint(TMJ) is continuously evolving with advancement of imaging technologies. Many different imaging modalities are currently used to evaluate the TMJ. Magnetic resonance imaging is commonly used for evaluation of the TMJ due to its superior contrast resolution and its ability to acquire dynamic imaging for demonstration of the functionality of the joint. Computed tomography and ultrasound imaging have specific indication in imaging of the TMJ. This article focuses on state of the art imaging of the temporomandibular joint. Relevant normal anatomy and biomechanics of movement of the TMJ are discussed for better understanding of many TMJ pathologies. Imaging of internal derangements is discussed in detail. 13Controllable Fabrication of Spider-Web-Like Structured Anaphe Panda Regenerated Silk Nanofibers / Nets via Electrospinning / Netting显示文摘An Anaphe panda silk nanofibers / nets( NFN) membrane with attractive structures consisting of common electrospun nanofibers and two-dimensional( 2D) spider-web-like structured nano-nets were successfully fabricated via electrospinning / netting technology. The unique structures of NFN membranes such as extremely small diameter( < 20 nm),high porosity,large specific surface area. and biocompatibility make this Anaphe panda silk NFN membrane a promising candidate for biomedical applications. In the present study, field emission scanning electron microscopy( FESEM) was used to investigate the influence of polymer solution and humidity on nano-nets coverage and morphology. The FE-SEM images revealed that nano-net coverage area increased with increase in concentration of solution while lowering the humidity increased the nano-nets formation. Moreover,the mechanical properties of the membrane were also tested and the result showed that the silk NFN membrane displayed a breaking stress of 3. 7 MPa and breaking strain of 13. 8%. For further structural elucidation, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy( FT-IR) was used to analyze the structural conformation changes from random coil to β-sheet in the NFN membrane which was an important factor effecting the usability of membrane. 15中国经济过热的趋势与风险分析显示文摘中国的经济一段时期以来表现非常强劲,国内消费正以每年9%的速度蓬勃稳步行进,受政府引导的基础设施投资的推动,固定资产投资比例很高,外国直接投资仍有相当规模,而非典的影响很小。面对对中国一片看好的积极观点,本文作者以中国国家统计局公布的数据,从中国的总体贸易情况及其银行贷款情况进行剖析,结合中国改革开放经济发展的历史,分析了中国目前正面临周期性的经济过热风险。中国经济的主要趋势有:中国的贸易顺差与前几年相比在迅速缩小,顺差主要是对美国,而对亚洲其他国家,中国皆为贸易逆差;在贸易顺差急剧下降的同时,外汇储备却暴涨,显示了中国资本项目的监管和控制系统存在着漏洞;此外,银行贷款剧增、无效投资呈上升迹象等等。面对这些问题,作者认为,中央管理当局很可能将开始控制银行借贷,从而导致经济适度放缓,同时指出,银行系统以及监管体系的改革已迫在眉睫。Benson Fung 李进祺 岑健 2003世界经济研究2003,,12:4

18Extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields promote cognitive function and hippocampal neurogenesis of rats with cerebral ischemia显示文摘Extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields(ELF-EMF) can improve the learning and memory impairment of rats with Alzheimer's disease, however, its effect on cerebral ischemia remains poorly understood.In this study, we established rat models of middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion.One day after modeling, a group of rats were treated with ELF-EMF(50 Hz, 1 mT) for 2 hours daily on 28 successive days.Our results showed that rats treated with ELF-EMF required shorter swimming distances and latencies in the Morris water maze test than those of untreated rats.The number of times the platform was crossed and the time spent in the target quadrant were greater than those of untreated rats.The number of BrdU~+/NeuN~+ cells, representing newly born neurons, in the hippocampal subgranular zone increased more in the treated than in untreated rats.Up-regulation in the expressions of Notch1, Hes1, and Hes5 proteins, which are the key factors of the Notch signaling pathway, was greatest in the treated rats.These findings suggest that ELF-EMF can enhance hippocampal neurogenesis of rats with cerebral ischemia, possibly by affecting the Notch signaling pathway.The study was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee of Sichuan University, China(approval No.2019255A) on March 5, 2019.Qiang Gao Aaron Leung Yong-Hong Yang Benson Wui-Man Lau Qian Wang Ling-Yi Liao Yun-Juan Xie Cheng-Qi He 2021Neural Regeneration Research2021,16,7:3
19Grain refinement of primary silicon in hypereutectic Al-Si alloys by different P-containing compounds显示文摘The grain refinement behavior of Si-3 P,Si-25 Mn-10 P,and Al-10 Si-2 Fe-3 P master alloys on hypereutectic Al-24 Si alloy was studied.Microstructure analysis indicates that the P-containing compounds in the three master alloys are Si P,Mn P,and Al P,respectively.The coarse flower-like primary silicon in the Al-24 Si alloy transforms into smaller,well-distributed blocks with the addition of various master alloys.When pouring at 840°C,the average grain size of the primary silicon refined by Si-25 Mn-10 P master alloy with a holding time of 30 min is about 18μm,which is significantly smaller than those refined by Si-3 P and Al-10 Si-2 Fe-3 P master alloys.The grain size shows an increasing trend when the holding time is further prolonged.Higher holding temperature has a positive effect on the grain refinement of Si-25 Mn-10 P master alloy.The grain refinement mechanism of the three master alloys was also discussed.Benson Kihono Njuguna Jia-yan Li Yi Tan Qian-qian Sun Peng-ting Li 2021China Foundry2021,18,1:3
