| 1 | Physical-biogeochemical interactions and potential effects on phytoplankton and Ulva prolifera in the coastal waters off Qingdao(Yellow Sea, China)显示文摘In recent years, the spectacular massive green tide of Ulva prolifera has become a recurrent phenomenon appearing every summer in the coastal waters off Qingdao(Yellow Sea, China), attracting the attention of scientists and local government. Based on multidisciplinary data collected during summer and winter, this study focuses on the hydrological characteristics and regional biogeochemical processes in coastal waters off Qingdao.The results show that the boundary of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass(YSCWM) can reach the Qingdao coastal region in summer and is locally raised to the upper layers to form coastal upwelling beyond tidal mixing and favorable wind. The regional summer upwelling off the Qingdao coast effectively enriches the nutrient concentrations in the upper water column and thus promotes growth of phytoplankton but reduces the dissolved oxygen(DO) concentration and pH value in the bottom. The regional summer upwelling off Qingdao coast may facilitate the growth and regional blooming of the U. prolifera that migrate to this region with the southerly wind.Additionally, the effects of the front on the aggregation of U. prolifera may be significant. In winter, the Yellow Sea Warm Current(YSWC) extends and spreads along the offshore region off the Subei Shoal towards the Qingdao coastal sea. This tongue-shaped warm water meets the cold coastal water off Qingdao, which leads to the formation of a physical front. As a consequence, remarkable fronts of nutrient and chlorophyll a(Chl a) also form between the shoreward warm water and the cold coastal water. | 2 | Photonic engineering of superbroadband near-infrared emission in nanoglass composites containing hybrid metal and dielectric nanocrystals显示文摘Photonic media containing hybrid noble metal-dielectric nanocrystals(NCs)represent a wonderland of nanophotonics,with a myriad of uncharted optical functions yet to be explored.Capitalizing on the unique phase separation and spontaneous formation of Au-metal NCs in a gallosilicate glass,we fabricated Ni^2+-doped transparent nanoglass composites(GCs)containing Au-metal/γ-Ga2O3-dielectric NCs.Compared with GCs free of Au-metal NCs,the super broadband near-infrared emission of Ni^2+with a full width at half-maximum over280 nm is enhanced twice in the Au-metal/γ-Ga2O3 dual-phase GCs.A comparison is given as to the spontaneous emission(SPE)properties of Ni^2+in the dual-phase GCs when pumped resonantly and off-resonantly with the localized surface plasmon resonance band of the Au-metal NCs.The important role of the Au-metal NCs in the SPE enhancement is revealed by theoretical simulation based on the finite-element method.Combining the photonic engineering effect of hybrid Au-metal/γ-Ga2O3 NCs and the sensitization effect of Yb^3+on Ni^2+,a record-high enhancement factor of over 10 of the Ni^2+NIR emission is achieved,and optical gain is demonstrated in the GCs at the fiber communication wavelength. | ZHIGANG GAO HAIBO ZHU BOCHAO SUN YINGKE JI XIAOSONG LU HAO TIAN JING REN SHU GUO JIANZHONG ZHANG JUN YANG XIANGENG MENG KATSUHISA TANAKA | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,5: | 2 |
| 4 | Comparative Study on Tissue Distribution of Tibetan Medicines Renqing Mangjue Compatible with Zuota显示文摘[Objectives]To explore the mechanism for the attenuate-synergistic effect of Zuota to Renqing Mangjue,a contrasted study on the tissue distribution of Tibetan medicines Renqing Mangjue compatible with Zuota was carried out. [Methods] The SD rats gastric ulcer model were made successfully,and then respectively were given Renqing Mangjue compatible with Zuota or not according to the dose of 0. 144 g/kg and normal saline by gavage administration,once a day. After 14 d of administration,various organs and tissue were isolated,including brain,heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney,jejunum,skeletal muscle,fat,skin,submandibular gland,uterus and ovary( or testicle and epididymis).The LC-MS/MS methods were used for determining the contents of brucine and strychnine in various organs and tissue,and significant difference analysis,main target site analysis and clustering analysis were implemented. [Results]Between the Zuota group and non-Zuota group,there was extremely significant difference in the content of brucine in the liver,kidney,muscle,lung,ovary,and heart( P < 0. 01),significant difference in the jejunum( P < 0. 05),and no significant difference in the epididymis,testis,brain,skin and uterus( P > 0. 05); the content of brucine in the submandibular gland,spleen,liver and ovary increased significantly,but significantly reduced in the kidney,muscle,jejunum,lung and heart.
