| 1 | An all-round AI-Chemist with a scientific mind显示文摘The realization of automated chemical experiments by robots unveiled the prelude to an artificial intelligence(AI)laboratory.Several AI-based systems or robots with specific chemical skills have been demonstrated,but conducting all-round scientific research remains challenging.Here,we present an all-round AI-Chemist equipped with scientific data intelligence that is capable of performing basic tasks generally required in chemical research.Based on a service platform,the AI-Chemist is able to automatically read the literatures from a cloud database and propose experimental plans accordingly.It can control a mobile robot in-house or online to automatically execute the complete experimental process on 14 workstations,including synthesis,characterization and performance tests.The experimental data can be simultaneously analysed by the computational brain of the AI-Chemist through machine learning and Bayesian optimization,allowing a new hypothesis for the next iteration to be proposed.The competence of the AI-Chemist has been scrutinized by three different chemical tasks.In the future,the more advanced all-round AI-Chemists equipped with scientific data intelligence may cause changes to the landscape of the chemical laboratory. | Qing Zhu Fei Zhang Yan Huang Hengyu Xiao LuYuan Zhao XuChun Zhang Tao Song XinSheng Tang Xiang Li Guo He BaoChen Chong JunYi Zhou YiHan Zhang Baicheng Zhang JiaQi Cao Man Luo Song Wang GuiLin Ye WanJun Zhang Xin Chen Shuang Cong Donglai Zhou Huirong Li Jialei Li Gang Zou WeiWei Shang Jun Jiang Yi Luo | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,10: | 5 |
| 2 | Generation of transgenic cucumbers with expression of a ten-tandem repeat long-acting GLP-1 analogue and their biological function on diabetic rats显示文摘Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) is a 30-amino acid peptide hormone, which has the regulatory function of stimulating the secretion of insulin to balance blood glucose levels. In this study, marker-free expression vector pX6 with a fusion gene of ten tandem repeated GLP-1 analog ([Ser8, Gln26 and Asp34]-GLP-1) genes was constructed and transformed into cucumbers by Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation method. Four transgenic lines were obtained by PCR and Southern blotting analysis and two transgenic lines successfully expressed the fusion protein (named GLP-T), which was revealed by Western blotting analysis. The biological activity test results showed that the serum glucose level of diabetic rats was significantly decreased after oral administration of the fusion protein GLP-T extracted from the transgenic cucumber fruitage. | 3 | Short-Term Traffic Flow Prediction Based on Road Network Topology显示文摘Accurate short-term traffic flow prediction plays a crucial role in intelligent transportation system (ITS), because it can assist both traffic authorities and individual travelers make better decisions. Previous researches mostly focus on shallow traffic prediction models, which performances were unsatisfying since short-term traffic flow exhibits the characteristics of high nonlinearity, complexity and chaos. Taking the spatial and temporal correlations into consideration, a new traffic flow prediction method is proposed with the basis on the road network topology and gated recurrent unit (GRU). This method can help researchers without professional traffic knowledge extracting generic traffic flow features effectively and efficiently. Experiments are conducted by using real traffic flow data collected from the Caltrans Performance Measurement System (PEMS) database in San Diego and Oakland from June 15, 2017 to September 27, 2017. | 5 | Epidemiological Characteristics of Human Parainfluenza Viruses Infections-China,2019-2023显示文摘Introduction:A retrospective study based on sentinel surveillance was conducted in 10 provinciallevel administrative divisions(PLADs)in China to enhance the understanding of the epidemiological characteristics of human parainfluenza viruses(HPIVs).Methods:From January 2019 to June 2023,respiratory specimens were collected from individuals with acute respiratory infections(ARIs)and screened for four HPIVs serotypes and other common respiratory viruses using multiplex real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR).This study analyzed the association of HPIVs infections with seasonal patterns,geographical distribution,demographic profiles,clinical features,and co-infection status.Results:During the study period,a total of 12,866 ARIs were included.The overall detection rate of HPIVs was 6.15%,varying from 5.04%in 2022 to 9.70%in 2020.The median age of HPIVs-infected patients was 3 years.HPIV2 was more prevalent among individuals aged 5–17 years(42.57%),while HPIV4 was more common in those over 65 years(12.24%).HPIV3(54.16%)and HPIV1(27.18%)were the predominant serotypes,and their prevalence exhibited significant seasonal fluctuations postcoronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.The peak of HPIV3 shifted three months later in 2020 compared to 2019 and returned to a summer peak thereafter.Two peaks of HPIV1 were observed in 2021 following the peak of HPIV3.Additionally,coinfections were frequent in HPIVs cases(overall rate:22.12%),with human rhinovirus being the most common co-infecting virus.Conclusions:The prevalence of HPIVs in China was predominantly due to HPIV3 and HPIV1,and their seasonal patterns were altered by pandemic restrictions.Hence,continuous surveillance of HPIVs is essential. | Yixuan Gao Yingwei Ma Daxing Feng Feng Zhang Biao Wang Xiaoqing Liu Bing Zhu Hui Xie Linqing Zhao Xiaoru Long Ying Chen Bing Wang Jie Jiang Zhen Zhu Yan Zhang Aili Cui Baicheng Xia Naiying Mao | 2024 | China CDC weekly2024,6,12: | 0 |
| 6 | Aerophilic Triphase Interface Tuned by Carbon Dots Driving Durable and Flexible Rechargeable Zn‑Air Batteries显示文摘Efficient bifunctional catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)are vital for rechargeable Zn-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,an oxygen-respirable sponge-like Co@C–O–Cs catalyst with oxygen-rich active sites was designed and constructed for both ORR and OER by a facile carbon dot-assisted strategy.The aerophilic triphase interface of Co@C–O–Cs cathode efficiently boosts oxygen diffusion and transfer.The theoretical calculations and experimental studies revealed that the Co–C–COC active sites can redistribute the local charge density and lower the reaction energy barrier.The Co@C–O–Cs catalyst displays superior bifunctional catalytic activities with a half-wave potential of 0.82 V for ORR and an ultralow overpotential of 294 mV at 10 mA cm^(−2) for OER.Moreover,it can drive the liquid ZABs with high peak power density(106.4 mW cm^(−2)),specific capacity(720.7 mAh g^(−1)),outstanding long-term cycle stability(over 750 cycles at 10 mA cm^(−2)),and exhibits excellent feasibility in flexible all-solid-state ZABs.These findings provide new insights into the rational design of efficient bifunctional oxygen catalysts in rechargeable metal-air batteries. | Kuixing Ding Yu Ye Jiugang Hu Liming Zhao Wei Jin Jia Luo Shan Cai Baicheng Weng Guoqiang Zou Hongshuai Hou Xiaobo Ji | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,2: | 0 |
| 7 | Forebrain excitatory neuron-specific loss of Brpf1 attenuates excitatory synaptic transmission and impairs spatial and fear memory显示文摘Bromodomain and plant homeodomain(PHD)finger containing protein 1(Brpf1)is an activator and scaffold protein of a multiunit complex that includes other components involving lysine acetyltransferase(KAT)6A/6B/7.Brpf1,KAT6A,and KAT6B mutations were identified as the causal genes of neurodevelopmental disorders leading to intellectual disability.Our previous work revealed strong and specific expression of Brpf1 in both the postnatal and adult forebrain,especially the hippocampus,which has essential roles in learning and memory.Here,we hypothesized that Brpf1 plays critical roles in the function of forebrain excitatory neurons,and that its deficiency leads to learning and memory deficits.To test this,we knocked out Brpf1 in forebrain excitatory neurons using CaMKIIa-Cre.We found that Brpf1 deficiency reduced the frequency of miniature excitatory postsynaptic currents and downregulated the expression of genes Pcdhgb1,Slc16a7,Robo3,and Rho,which are related to neural development,synapse function,and memory,thereby damaging spatial and fear memory in mice.These findings help explain the mechanisms of intellectual impairment in patients with BRPF1 mutation. | Baicheng Zhao Hang Zhang Ying Liu Gaoyu Zu Yuxiao Zhang Jiayi Hu Shuai Liu Linya You | 2024 | Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,5: | 0 |
