1Deep Auto-encoded Clustering Algorithm for Community Detection in Complex Networks显示文摘The prevalence of deep learning has inspired innovations in numerous research fields including community detection, a cornerstone in the advancement of complex networks. We propose a novel community detection algorithm called the Deep auto-encoded clustering algorithm(DAC), in which unsupervised and sparse single autoencoders are trained and piled up one after another to embed key community information in a lowerdimensional representation, such that it can be handled easier by clustering strategies. Extensive comparison tests undertaken on synthetic and real world networks reveal two advantages of the proposed algorithm: on the one hand, DAC shows higher precision than the kmeans community detection method benefiting from the integration of sparsity constraints. 2Selective potassium uptake via biocompatible zeolite–polymer hybrid microbeads as promising binders for hyperkalemia显示文摘Patients with chronic kidney disease are at high risk of hyperkalemia that is associated with various lifethreatening complications.Treatments primarily rely on orally administered potassium binding agents,along with low curative effects and various side effects.Herein,direct serum potassium uptake was realized via zeolite–heparin-mimicking-polymer hybrid microbeads.The preparation process involved the synthesis of the heparin-mimicking polymer via the in situ cross-linking polymerization of acrylic acid and N-vinylpyrrolidone in polyethersulfone solution,the fabrication of microbeads via zeolite-mixing,electro-spraying and phase-inversion,and the subsequent aqueous-phase modifications based on ion-exchange and metal-leaching.An ultra-high(about 88%)amount of zeolite could be incorporated and well locked inside the polymer matrix.Potassium uptake capability was verified in water,normal saline and human serum,showing high selectivity and fast adsorption.The microbeads exhibited satisfying blood compatibility,negligible hemolysis ratio,prolonged clotting time,inhibited contact activation,and enhanced antifouling property toward serum proteins and cells.The proposed approach toward zeolite–heparin-mimicking-polymer hybrid microbeads provided a cheap,efficient and safe treatment protocol of hyperkalemia for the high-risk patients.Zhoujun Wang Wei Sun Zhiwei Wei Jianxu Bao Xin Song Yupei Li Haifeng Ji Jue Zhang Chao He Baihai Su Weifeng Zhao Changsheng Zhao 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,2:2

12Towards prediction of ordered phases in rechargeable battery chemistry via group–subgroup transformation显示文摘The electrochemical thermodynamic and kinetic characteristics of rechargeable batteries are critically influenced by the ordering of mobile ions in electrodes or solid electrolytes.However,because of the experimental difficulty of capturing the lighter migration ion coupled with the theoretical limitation of searching for ordered phases in a constrained cell,predicting stable ordered phases involving cell transformations or at extremely dilute concentrations remains challenging.Here,a group-subgroup transformation method based on lattice transformation and Wyckoff-position splitting is employed to predict the ordered ground states.We reproduce the previously reported Li_(0.75)CoO_(2),Li_(0.8333)CoO_(2),and Li_(0.8571)CoO_(2)phases and report a new Li_(0.875)CoO_(2)ground state.Taking the advantage of Wyckoff-position splitting in reducing the number of configurations,we identify the stablest Li_(0.0625)C_(6) dilute phase in Li-ion intercalated graphite.We also resolve the Li/La/vacancy ordering in Li_(3x)La_(2/3−x)TiO_(3)(0Yunbing Ran Zheyi Zou Bo Liu Da Wang Bowei Pu Penghui Mi Wei Shi Yajie Li Bing He Ziheng Lu Xia Lu Baihai Li Siqi Shi 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:1

15Synergy of in-situ heterogeneous interphases tailored lithium deposition显示文摘The implementation of a robust artificial solid electrolyte interphase(ASEI)to replace the unstable natural SEI can regulate lithium deposition behaviors and avoid the safety hazards caused by dendrites permeation in lithium metal batteries.Despite of devoted efforts in tailoring components of ASEI,the intrinsic mechanism of interfacial synergy within the heterogeneous interphases has not been well elucidated yet.Herein,we show that the lithium plating/striping behaviors can be substantially enhanced(over 900 h with an overpotential of less than 20 mV at 1 mA·cm^(−2)in Li|Li symmetric cells and 146 cycles in anode-free cells)by regulating the heterogeneous interphases.This favorable ASEI composed of LiF and Li_(3)N components can be in-situ generated during cycling by large-scale fabricated fluorinated boron nitride coatings.Further,the synergy of each heterogeneous component within ASEI was explored theoretically and experimentally.Li_(3)N has high adsorption energy and low ion diffusion barrier,which facilitates the transport of lithium ions and avoids its local accumulation to evolve into dendrites.Both the substrate and LiF are interfacially stable with high electron tunneling barriers,preventing the electrolyte decomposition and parasitic reactions.Finally,the high stiffness of the boron nitride also ensures lithium dendrites are suppressed once they grow,providing a stable environment for long-term cycling of lithium metal batteries.Yinuo Li Anjun Hu Xingdong Gan Miao He Jun Zhu Wei Chen Yin Hu Tianyu Lei Fei Li Yaoyao Li Yuxin Fan Fan Wang Mingjie Zhou An Wen Baihai Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,6:0
16Asymmetric MXene/monolayer transition metal dichalcogenide heterostructures for functional applications显示文摘A versatile two-dimensional(2D)molecular bilayer heterostructure of asymmetric MXene/monolayer transition metal dichalcogenide(aMXene/mTMDC)with a high interfacial built-in electric field is here simulated,where aMXene is an aMXene with the top or bottom electronegative atom plane of MXene removed.The asymmetric structural design of aMXene leads to a high dipole moment perpendicular to the 2D molecular plane.Although the unpassivated metal atoms in the aMXene are unstable and electropositive,coupling them to the electronegative chalcogenide atoms in an aMXene/mTMDC bilayer resolves this deficiency.The dipole field tunable by the specific composition of aMXene/mTMDC is leveraged to engineer unusual band structures,band alignments,and charge redistribution/injection in the bilayer.The simulated design of several aMXene/mTMDC bilayers for possible use in spintronics,microelectronics/optoelectronics,and catalysis/photocatalysis are shown.Baihai Li Haoran Guo Yunrui Wang Wenxu Zhang Qiuju Zhang Liang Chen Xiaoli Fan Wanli Zhang Yanrong Li Woon-Ming Lau 2019npj Computational Materials2019,,1:0
17Cu clusters immobilized on Cd-defective cadmium sulfide nano-rods towards photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction显示文摘Single-site metal atoms or clusters(SMCs)present high potential to enable the exploration of energetics and kinetics in heterogeneous photocatalysis owing to their unique properties.Here,we report the first work for highly no ligands-protected atomic-level Cu clusters by mediating them in Cd vacancies at the edge of Cd S nanorods(Cu CR SCC)towards photocatalytic CO_(2)conversion.X-ray absorption spectrometric analysis and photoelectric dynamic characterizations demonstrate that the well-defined Cu clusters across the Cd vacancies induce a synergistic effect on CO_(2)reduction through the interfacial conjunction,accelerating charge carrier mobility and facilitating atom utilization.In situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy,low-coverage calculated isosteric heat,and theoretical studies unveil that the direct cluster/substrate conjunction provides a driving force for interfacial electronic modification and dynamic cooperation.Besides,Cu acts as the active site in the process of CO_(2)photoreduction,which enhances the adsorption and activation of CO_(2).Consequently,this leads to outstanding CO_(2)-to-CO conversion with a turnover number of more than 90 without the addition of any sacrificial agent.Particularly,the Cu clusters-mediated Cd S nanorods are able to serve as carrier provider,allowing the photogenerated electrons transfer from Cd S to Cu clusters.These electrons received from Cd S can further enhance the charge carrier separation and thus achieve high photostability during longtime light irradiation.Lei Cheng Baihai Li Hui Yin Jiajie Fan Quanjun Xiang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,23:0
18Comparison and Correlation Study of Polar Biomarkers of CKD Patients in Saliva and Serum by UPLC-ESI-MS显示文摘There are abundant reports on the use of aromatic amino acids and creatinineas biomarkers in serum and urine forCKD(chronic kidney disease). However, investigationsinto these bio-species in bio-fluids, such as saliva and sweat, are rarely reported. Increasing interest in non-invasive methods for medical diagnosis advocates for the testing of these bio-fluidstoidentify potential biomarkers for prompt clinical andpreliminary screening using advanced analytical equipment. Unstimulated whole saliva samples were obtained from twenty-seven CKD patients and an equivalent number of healthy individuals. Saliva was assayed with ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with electro-spray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-ESI-MS) in hydrophilic interaction chromatography mode. The data were analyzed using a student’s t test and receiver operatingcharacteristic (ROC) to evaluate the predictive power of several potential biomarkers (P<0.01) in saliva for preliminary CKD screening. Through testing of salivary samples between CKD patients and healthy individuals, we found three possible salivary biomarkers that demonstrated significant differences (P<0.01) from the nine reported species in serum and/or urine. The area under the curve (AUC) values for control vs CKDpatientsfor on L-phenylalanine, L- tryptophan, and creatinine were 0.863, 0.834, and 0.916, respectively. This is the first report to compare serum and urine biomarkers in saliva between CKD patients and healthy people. 19Microtubule Assists Actomyosin to Regulate Cell Nuclear Mechanics and Chromatin Accessibility显示文摘Cellular behaviors and functions can be regulated by mechanical cues from microenvironments,which are transmitted to nucleus through the physical connections of cytoskeletons in the cells.How these physical connections determine transcriptional activity were not clearly known.The actomyosin,which generates intracellular traction force,has been recognized to control the nuclear morphology.Here,we have revealed that microtubule,the stiffest cytoskeleton,is also involved in the process of nuclear morphology alteration.The microtubule negatively regulates the actomyosin-induced nuclear invaginations but not the nuclear wrinkles.Moreover,these nuclear shape changes are proven to mediate the chromatin remodeling,which essentially mediates cell gene expression and phenotype determination.The actomyosin disruption leads to the loss of chromatin accessibility,which can be partly recovered by microtubule interference through nuclear shape control.This finding answers the question of how mechanical cues regulate chromatin accessibility and cell behaviors.It also provides new insights into cell mechanotransduction and nuclear mechanics.Jiwen Geng Zhefeng Kang Qian Sun Man Zhang Peng Wang Yupei Li Jiameng Li Baihai Su Qiang Wei 2023Research2023,,3:0
20Dynamics in small worlds of tree topologies of wireless sensor networks显示文摘Tree topologies, which construct spatial graphs with large characteristic path lengths and small clustering coefficients,are ubiquitous in deployments of wireless sensor networks. Small worlds are investigated in tree-based networks. Due to link additions, characteristic path lengths reduce rapidly and clustering coefficients increase greatly. A tree abstract, Cayley tree, is considered for the study of the navigation algorithm, which runs automatically in the small worlds of tree-based networks. In the further study, epidemics in the small worlds of tree-based wireless sen-sor networks on the large scale are studied, and the percolation threshold is calculated, at which the outbreak of the epidemictakes place.
