| 1 | Restraining effect of nitrogen on coal oxidation in different stages:Non-isothermal TG-DSC and EPR research显示文摘Nitrogen is widely used to prevent the spontaneous combustion of coal in underground coal mines. A spontaneous combustion-prone coal seam was studied to investigate the restraining effect of nitrogen on coal oxidation in different oxidation stages, based on non-isothermal thermogravimetry-differential scanning calorimetry(TG-DSC) and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR) experiments. We found that the key feature temperatures grow steadily with increasing nitrogen in the oxidation environment,resulting in longer oxidation stages. The most significant finding is that there is a stagnation of the inhibitory effect of nitrogen on coal oxidation in the range of 85.0–95.0% nitrogen in the slow and the rapid oxidation stages, owing to the competitive adsorption of coal by nitrogen and oxygen. However, the restraining effect cannot be reflected by the kinetic parameters of the coal before it reaches the thermal decomposition and combustion stage. Nitrogen can also affect free radical types and free radical concentrations during coal oxidation: the higher the concentration of nitrogen in the oxidation environment, the greater the number of free radical types and the lower the free radical concentration. | 2 | Fabrication and Mechanical Testing of Ultralight Folded Lattice-CoreSandwich Cylinders显示文摘In this research,two novel folded lattice-core sandwich cylinders were designed,manufactured,and tested.The lattice core has periodic zigzag corrugations,whose ridges and valleys are directed axially or circumferentially.Free vibration and axial compression experiments were performed to reveal the fundamental frequency,free vibration modes,bearing capacity,and failure mode of the cylinder.A folded lattice core effectively restricts local buckling by reducing the dimension of the local skin periodic cell,and improves the global buckling resistance by enhancing the shear stiffness of the sandwich core.The cylinders fail at the mode of material failure and possess excellent load-carrying capacity.An axially directed folded sandwich cylinder has greater load-carrying capacity,while a circumferentially directed folded sandwich cylinder has higher fundamental frequencies.These two types of folded lattices provide a selection for engineers when designing a sandwich cylinder requiring strength or vibration.This research also presents a feasible way to fabricate a large-dimensional folded structure and promote its engineering application. | Wanxin Li Qing Zheng Hualin Fan Bin Ji | 2020 | Engineering2020,6,2: | 6 |
| 3 | Reporting quality and effect size comparison in randomized controlled trials of bo's abdominal acupuncture using CONSORT statement and STRICTA显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the reporting quality of randomized controlled trials(RCT) that compared Bo's abdominal acupuncture with conventional body acupuncture, and compare the efficacy and safetybetweenthembyperforminga Meta-analysis.METHODS: All RCTs comparing Bo's abdominalacupuncture with conventional body acupuncture were included. English and Chinese databases were searched from their respective inceptions to March 2014. The reporting quality was assessed according to the 'Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials'(CONSORT) checklist for parallel RCTs and the revised 'Standards for Reporting Interventions in Clinical Trials of Acupuncture'(STRICTA). A Meta-analysis was conducted to synthesize the effect sizes,and publication bias was evaluated by the Egger linear regression test using Stata.RESULTS: Ninety-seven studies were included, of which most lacked adequate reporting information, and 80.4% showed that the efficacy of abdominal acupuncture is superior to conventional body acupuncture, especially for the following diseases:lumbar disc herniation, cervical spondylosis, omarthritis and cervical vertigo, except simple obesity.Effect-sizes were controversial when evaluating different outcomes.CONCLUSION: The international standard CONSORT statement and STRICTA guidelines should be strictly applied when reporting acupuncture RCTs in the future. Abdominal acupuncture appears to be more effective compared with conventional body acupuncture for some diseases. | 4 | Dye-sensitized TiO2@SBA-15 composites: Preparation and their application in photocatalytic desulfurization显示文摘Photocatalytic oxidation desulfurization has become a research hotspot in recent years because of mild reaction conditions, less energy consumption and high selectivity. In this paper, TiO2 was loaded onto SBA-15 molecular sieves and sensitized with organic dyes(2, 9-dichloroquinacridone, DCQ) to extend its spectral response range from ultraviolet light to visible light. The catalyst DCQ-X%TiO2@SBA-15 was characterized by BET measurements, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection spectra, and then it was applied for photocatalytic oxidation desulfurization of gasoline. The effects of different catalytic systems, TiO2 concentration, catalyst dosage, and different model sulfur compounds on catalytic desulfurization performance were investigated. | 5 | Tunable luminescence,energy transfer and excellent thermal stability of SrMg2(PO4)2:Ce^3+,Tb^3+ phosphors for LEDs显示文摘A series of novel SrMg2(PO4)2:Ce^3+,Tb^3+(SMP:Ce^3+,Tb^3+)phosphors with tunable emission spectra were produced via high temperature solid phase method.XRD,fluorescence spectrum and fluorescence lifetime for SMP:Ce^3+,Tb^3+were studied in detail.Under the excitation at 308 nm,SMP:Ce^3+,Tb^3+samples can emit high efficiency tunable blue-green light by controlling the proportion of dopant concentration.Through the spectral overlap and the regular change of fluorescence lifetime,it is proved that there is a significant energy transfer between Ce^3+and Tb^3+in SMP matrix and the energy transfer mechanism is determined to be an electric dipole-dipole interaction with energy transmission efficiency of 55%.In additional,Commission International de L’Eclairage(CIE)color coordinates and thermal stability were studied.All above findings suggest that SMP:Ce^3+,Tb^3+can be regarded as the potential bluish green phosphor for LED applications. | Wanxin Mi Jun Zheng Peng Qiao Lili Cao Siqi Chu Hongping Ma | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,1: | 4 |
| 6 | Effects of metal ions and heat shock on the expression of a metallothionein-like gene htMT2 in Helianthus tuberosus显示文摘The expression of htMT2 in tissues of Helianthus tuberosus treated with metal ions and heat shock is studied by Northern blot hybridization. The results indicate that htMT2 is not expressed in roots. The expression in leaves and stems can be reduced by Cu2+ and induced by low concentration of Zn2+. However, the expression of htMT2 can be suppressed by Zn2+ when its concentrations are above 500 μmol/L. The effects of Ca2+ on the expression of htMT2 in leaves are similar to that of Zn2+. But Ca2+ induces the expression of htMT2 in stems. The expression levels of htMT2 in various tissues are not significantly affected by heat shock. | 9 | Second-trimester maternal β-human chorionic gonadotropin level associated with subsequent development of pregnancy-induced hypertension显示文摘Objective:To determine whether maternal β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-hCG) level in second-trimester may be associated with subsequent development of pregnancy-induced hypertension(PIH).Methods:Seven hundred and sixty-two women in mid-trimester were to have maternal urine β-hCG standardized concentrations and maternal serum β-hCG measurements.Their case histories were recorded and reviewed from mid-trimester to delivery.The relation was observed between maternal urine,serum markers and subsequent development of PIH.Results:Among 762 women,504 cases were normal pregnancies,42 cases had PIH,94 cases had premature rupture of membrane (PROM),69 cases had preterm delivery (PD),53 other cases were excluded by various reasons.The levels of maternal urine,serum β-hCG in PIH were (61.75±9.78) IU/L and (304.56±54.17) ng/mg respectively,which were higher significantly than normal pregnancy group ([20.65±7.61] IU/L and [146.34±47.81] ng/mg,P<0.05).When maternal serum,urine β-hCG levels ≥2 MOM(multiple of mean),the incidences of developing PIH were increased significantly as compared with those of β-hCG <2 MOM women.The incidence of PIH increased from 5.1% in pregnancies with urine β-hCG ≥2 MOM to 11.7% in cases with urine β-hCG ≥4 MOM.Conclusion:The elevation of maternal mid-trimester urine,serum β-hCG levels is not only an early signal for dysfunction of placenta but also a dangerous signal for development of PIH.Second-trimester maternal urine β-hCG measurement proves to be superior to serum marker in clinical prediction. | Tang Longying Chen Qizhen Zuo Wanxin Sun Tingwei Wang Yianshu Jin Hua | 2010 | Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2010,25,5: | 2 |
| 10 | Essential role of Msx1 in regulating anterior-posterior patterning of the secondary palate in mice显示文摘Development of the secondary palate displays molecular heterogeneity along the anterior-posterior axis;however, the underlying molecular mechanism remains largely unknown. MSX1 is an anteriorly expressed transcription repressor required for palate development. Here, we investigate the role of Msx1 in regional patterning of the secondary palate. The Wnt1-Cre-mediated expression of Msx1(Rosa Msx1^(Wnt1-Cre))throughout the palatal mesenchyme leads to cleft palate in mice, associated with aberrant cell proliferation and cell death. Osteogenic patterning of the hard palate in Rosa Msx1^(Wnt1-Cre)mice is severely impaired, as revealed by a marked reduction in palatine bone formation and decreased expression of the osteogenic regulator Sp7. Overexpression and knockout of Msx1 in mice show that the transcription repressor promotes the expression of the anterior palate-specific Alx1 but represses the expression of the medialposterior palate genes Barx1, Meox2, and Tbx22. Furthermore, Tbx22 constitutes a direct Msx1 target gene in the secondary palate, suggesting that Msx1 can directly repress the expression of medial-posterior specific genes. Finally, we determine that Sp7 is downstream of Tbx22 in palatal mesenchymal cells,suggesting that a Msx1/Tbx22/Sp7 axis participates in the regulation of palate development. | 11 | A Reinforcement Learning System for Fault Detection and Diagnosis in Mechatronic Systems显示文摘With the increasing demand for the automation of operations and processes in mechatronic systems,fault detection and diagnosis has become a major topic to guarantee the process performance.There exist numerous studies on the topic of applying artificial intelligence methods for fault detection and diagnosis.However,much of the focus has been given on the detection of faults.In terms of the diagnosis of faults,on one hand,assumptions are required,which restricts the diagnosis range.On the other hand,different faults with similar symptoms cannot be distinguished,especially when the model is not trained by plenty of data.In this work,we proposed a reinforcement learning system for fault detection and diagnosis.No assumption is required.Feature exaction is first made.Then with the features as the states of the environment,the agent directly interacts with the environment.Optimal policy,which determines the exact category,size and location of the fault,is obtained by updating Q values.The method takes advantage of expert knowledge.When the features are unclear,action will be made to get more information from the new state for further determination.We create recurrent neural network with the long short-term memory architecture to approximate Q values.The application on a motor is discussed.The experimental results validate that the proposed method demonstrates a significant improvement compared with existing state-of-the-art methods of fault detection and diagnosis. | Wanxin Zhang Jihong Zhu | 2020 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,9: | 1 |
