1Effects of hydrogenation temperature on room-temperature compressive properties of CMHT-treated Ti6Al4V alloy显示文摘Compression tests were performed at room temperature to investigate the effects of hydrogenation temperature on compressive properties of Ti6 Al4 V alloy treated by continuous multistep hydrogenation treatment(CMHT).Pressure-composition isotherms and micro structures were also studied. Results showed that the equilibrium hydrogen pressure increased, and the hydrogen absorption rate decreased with the increase of hydrogenation temperature. The amounts ofβphase andα'martensite increased first and then decreased when Ti6 Al4 V alloy was treated by four times CMHT with the increase of hydrogenation temperature.Hydrogenation temperature played a different role on the compressive properties of CMHT-treated Ti6 Al4 V alloy. The ultimate compression of Ti6 Al4 V alloy treated by 11 times CMHT at850℃increased by 83.3%as compared to the as-received Ti6 Al4 V alloy. The compressive properties of Ti6 Al4 V alloy were dependent on the amounts of different phases and microstructures when Ti6 Al4 V alloy was treated by CMHT at different temperatures.Baoguo Yuan Xing Liu Jiangfei Du Qiang Chen Yuanyuan Wan Yunliang Xiang Yan Tang Xiaoxue Zhang Zhongyue Huang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,13:3

7Influence of phosphate on deposition and detachment of TiO2 nanoparticles in soil显示文摘The widespread use of TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) makes inevitable their release into the soil. Phosphate is also widespread within soil, and is likely copresent with TiO2 NPs. However, the influence of phosphate on deposition/release— and thereby on transport— of TiO2 NPs in soil is yet to be elucidated. In this study we conducted saturated column experiments to systematically examine the transport of TiO2 NPs in soil amended with phosphate at different ionic strengths (ISs) (1, 10, 100 mmol/L NaCl) and pHs (4 and 9). Results show that the deposition of TiO2 NPs decreased with decreasing IS, increasing pH, and when soil absorbed phosphate. These observations are qualitatively in agreement with Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek (DLVO) interaction energy calculations, because the repulsive energy barrier is larger and secondary minimum depth is smaller at a lower IS, higher pH, and in the presence of phosphate. Accordingly, both primary- and secondary-minimum deposition were inhibited. Interestingly, although the deposition was less at higher pH and in the presence of phosphate, the subsequent spontaneous detachment and detachment by reduction of solution IS in these cases were greater. In addition, the presence of phosphate in the solution can cause a small quantity of attached TiO2 NPs to detach, even without perturbations of physical and chemical conditions. Our study was the first to investigate the influence of phosphate on detachment of TiO2 NPs and the results have important implication for accurate prediction of fate and transport of TiO2 NPs in subsurface environments.Zhan Wang Chongyang Shen Yichun Du Yulong Zhang Baoguo Li 2019Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2019,13,5:0
8Radial growth and non-structural carbohydrate partitioning response to resin tapping of slash pine(Pinus elliottii Engelm.var.elliottii)显示文摘Slash pine(Pinus elliottii Engelm.var.elliottii)is a resin-producing species grown worldwide for significant economic benefits for wood production.Resin tapping cre-ates a carbon sink at the expense of carbon allocation for growth and consequently, wood production may be reduced.Non-structural carbohydrates comprising starch and sugars stored in plant organs, may serve as intermediate pools between assimilation and utilisation. However, the effect of resin tapping between tree growth and non-structural carbo-hydrates is not well understood. This study investigated(1)the effects of resin tapping on radial growth,(2)the effects of resin tapping on non-structural carbohydrate pools in different compartments,and(3)the feasibility of resin pro-duction without disruption of tree growth.Twenty one-year-old slash pines were subjected to resin tapping over two suc-cessive years.Non-structural carbohydrate concentrations in needles, branches, stem phloem, and roots of tapped and untapped trees in summer and winter were determined after the second year of resin harvest. The results showed that tapping had no significant effects on annual increments.Starch was the dominant non-structural carbohydrate frac-tion,regardless of tissues and season, and constituted up to 99%of the total non-structural carbohydrates in the phloem and roots.Glucose and fructose were the dominant sugars;sucrose was negligible.Compared with the controls, tapped trees showed 26%lower non-structural carbohydrate concen-tration in the phloem above the tapping wound in summer, which was attributable to the decreased abundance of starch, glucose, fructose, and sucrose. In winter, the altered non-structural carbohydrate profiles in the phloem above the tap-ping wounding were minimised as a result of recovery of the sugar concentrations. In contrast to free sugars, which accu-mulated substantially in needles and branches during winter, starch was enriched in the phloem, roots, and current-year needles. The results provide evidence for a localised effect of resin tapping, and highlight the observation that resin extrac-tion does not always cause a sacrifice in wood growth under a moderate resin-tapping intensity in slash pine plantations.Baoguo Du Qifu Luan Zhanglin Ni Honggang Sun Jingmin Jiang 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,2:0
