2Ultra-thin metal-organic framework nanoribbons显示文摘Structure engineering of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)at the nanometer scale is attracting increasing interest due to their unique properties and new functions that normally cannot be achieved in bulk MOF crystals.Here,we report the preparation of ultra-thin MOF nanoribbons(NRBs)by using metal-hydroxide nanostructures as the precursors.Importantly,this general method can be used to synthesize various kinds of ultra-thin MOF NRBs,such as MBDC(M=Co,Ni;BDC=1,4-benzenedicarboxylate),NiCoBDC,CoTCPP(TCPP=tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin)and MIL-53(Al)NRBs.As a proof-of-concept application,the as-prepared ultra-thin Co BDC NRBs have been successfully used as a fluorescent sensing platform for DNA detection,which exhibited excellent sensitivity and selectivity.The present strategy might open an avenue to prepare MOF nanomaterials with new structures and unique properties for various promising applications.Bingqing Wang Meiting Zhao Liuxiao Li Ying Huang Xiao Zhang Chong Guo Zhicheng Zhang Hongfei Cheng Wenxian Liu Jing Shang Jing Jin Xiaoming Sun Junfeng Liu Hua Zhang 2020National Science Review2020,7,1:1
3Mechanical properties of nanocomposites reinforced by carbon nanotube sponges显示文摘Carbon nanotube(CNT)sponge exhibits unique porous and hierarchical structure that are beneficial to the design of ultralight and tough composites.In this study,CNT sponges(undoped and boron doped)reinforced polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)composites were fabricated.Mechanical properties of the composite,including compressive modulus,rate-dependent modulus,stress relaxation behaviors,dynamic viscoelastic properties,and their dependency on temperature,were systematically investigated.A micromechanical model,Mori-Tanaka model,was validated to describe the mechanical behaviors of CNT sponge reinforced composites.By coupling with boron-doped CNT sponge,PDMS composites showed remarkable improvement of mechanical properties,including compressive modulus(70%),viscous modulus(243%)and damping capacity(50%).Such reinforcement effects can be controlled by the morphology of CNT sponges,as the boron-doped and undoped nanocomposites showed distinct viscoelastic behaviors.The results proved that CNT sponge reinforcement is a promising strategy to develop engineering composites with both outstanding mechanical stiffness and controllable viscoelastic performances.Wenjie Zhao Tong Li Yupeng Li Daniel J.O'Brien Mauricio Terrones Bingqing Wei Jonghwan Suhr X.Lucas Lu 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,2:1

5Derivation of totipotent-like stem cells with blastocyst-like structure forming potential显示文摘It is challenging to derive totipotent stem cells in vitro that functionally and molecularly resemble cells from totipotent embryos.Here,we report that a chemical cocktail enables the derivation of totipotent-like stem cells,designated as totipotent potential stem(TPS)cells,from 2-cell mouse embryos and extended pluripotent stem cells,and that these TPS cells can be stably maintained long term in vitro.TPS cells shared features with 2-cell mouse embryos in terms of totipotency markers,transcriptome,chromatin accessibility and DNA methylation patterns.In vivo chimera formation assays show that these cells have embryonic and extraembryonic developmental potentials at the single-cell level.Moreover,TPS cells can be induced into blastocyst-like structures resembling preimplantation mouse blastocysts.Mechanistically,inhibition of HDAC1/2 and DOT1L activity and activation of RARγsignaling are important for inducing and maintaining totipotent features of TPS cells.Our study opens up a new path toward fully capturing totipotent stem cells in vitro.Yaxing Xu Jingru Zhao Yixuan Ren Xuyang Wang Yulin Lyu Bingqing Xie Yiming Sun Xiandun Yuan Haiyin Liu Weifeng Yang Yenan Fu Yu Yu Yinan Liu Rong Mu Cheng Li Jun Xu Hongkui Deng 2022Cell Research2022,32,6:1

7Regulating electrodeposition behavior through enhanced mass transfer for stable lithium metal anodes显示文摘Electrode process kinetics is a key part that determines the morphology of metal electrodeposition.However,the liquid-phase mass transfer process and its effect on lithium(Li)metal electrodeposition are still poorly understood.Herein,the effect of mass transfer on the electrodeposition behavior of Li metal is explored.Experiments and COMSOL Multiphysics simulations reveal that the enhanced mass transfer,which is induced by ultrasonic wave,can homogenize the ion flow on the surface of electrode to obtain uniform Li nucleation.Meanwhile,the rapid mass transfer of Li^(+)provides sufficient cations around the germinated Li to avoid preferential growth of Li in a specific direction.Based on the simultaneous regulation of nucleation and growth behavior,a smooth and compact Li deposits can be achieved,which exhibit a small polarization voltage during repeated Li plating/striping and a considerably enhanced cyclability.This work enriches the fundamental understanding of Li electrodeposition without dendrite structure and affords fresh guidance to develop dendrite-free metal anodes for metal-based batteries.Yuliang Gao Fahong Qiao Jingyuan You Chao Shen Hui Zhao Jinlei Gu Zengying Ren Keyu Xie Bingqing Wei 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4:0
8Ferroelastic phase transitions in three new layered perovskites:(3-XC_(6)H_(5)CH_(2)CH_(2)NH_(3))_(2)[CdCl_(4)](X=F,Cl,and Br)显示文摘Two-dimensional organic-inorganic hybrid ferroelastics with high-temperature reversible phase transitions are very rare and have become one of the research hotspots in the field of ferroelastic materials.Herein,we report three new layered organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites based on halogen-substituted phenethylaminium,(3-XC_(6)H_(5)CH_(2)CH_(2)NH_(3))_(2)[CdCl_(4)](X=F(1),CI(2)and Br(3)).They undergo structural phase transitions at 376/371 K,436/430 K,and 421/411 K,respectively,between the isomorphic hightemperature phases(space group I4/mmm,Z=2)and different room-temperature phases with the reduced structural symmetries,i.e.,P21/a(Z=2)in 1,Pi(Z=4)in 2,and P21/a(Z=4)in 3,respectively.These ferroelastic transitions arise from the order-disorder transition of organic cations together with the synchronous displacement of inorganic layers,accompanying with feroelastic spontaneous strains of 0.16,0.13 and 0.12 for 1-3,respectively.By enriching layered perovskite ferroelastics based on halogensubstituted cations,this work provides important clues for exploring new ferroic materials based on hybrid crystals.Yaping Gong Xiaoxian Chen Bingqing Zhao Jun Wang Weixiong Zhang Xiaomin Chen 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,12:0

10Analysis of technology pathway of China's liquid fuel production with consideration of energy supply security and carbon price显示文摘Efforts to provide alternative resources and technologies for producing liquid fuel have recently been intensified.Different levels of dependence on oil imports and carbon prices have a significant impact on the composition of the cost-minimizing portfolio of technologies.Considering such factors,how should China plan its future liquid fuel industry?The model for supporting the technology portfolio and capacity configuration that minimizes the total system cost until 2045 is described in this study.The results obtained for different carbon prices and levels of dependence on oil import indicate that the oil-to-liquid fuel(OTL)will remain dominant in China's liquid fuel industry over the next three decades.If the carbon price is low,the coal-to-liquid fuel(CTL)process is competitive.For a high carbon price,the biomass-to-liquid fuel(BTL)technology expands more rapidly.The results also reveal that developing the BTL and CTL can effectively reduce the oil-import dependency;moreover,a high carbon price can lead to the CTL being replaced with the low-carbon technology(e.g.,BTL).Improvement in energy raw material conversion and application of CO_(2) removal technologies are also effective methods to control carbon emissions for achieving the carbon emission goals and ultimately emission reduction targets.Bingqing Ding Marek Makowski Jinyang Zhao Hongtao Ren Behnam Zakeri Tieju Ma 2023Journal of Management Science and Engineering2023,8,1:0
