| 1 | Effect of chemical corrosion on charge transport behaviour in epoxy/Al_(2)O_(3)nanocomposite irradiated by gamma ray显示文摘Chemical corrosion and gamma‐ray irradiation appeared with the loss of coolant accident may seriously threaten the safe operation of a nuclear power plant,where epoxy resin(ER)‐based materials are widely used.It is urgent to study the effects of the corrosion and the irradiation on the electrical performance in an ER‐based nanocomposite.In this work,ER/Al_(2)O_(3)nanocomposite samples with 0,1,3,5‐wt%nano Al2O3 filler content were prepared at the thickness of 2 mm,and the total gamma irradiation dose was 0,500,and 1000 kGy.The samples were chemically corroded in a boric acid solution(pH=4.7)and a trisodium phosphate alkaline solution(pH=11)at 60℃and 100℃for 48 h.Charge transport behaviour in the samples was derived from the surface potential decay method.In addition,the sample structures were characterised to analyse the corrosion mechanism in the solutions.The results indicated that the depth and the density of the trap showed a temperature‐dependent manner associated with the corrosion.With the addition of appropriate content of the filler,the trap centre was deepened and the carrier mobility was limited even after the corrosion.It is found that the appearance of hydroxyl and carboxyl groups during corrosion,the interaction between the nanoparticle and the matrix and the crosslinking reaction caused by the irradiation are responsible for the variation in charge transport behaviour. | Yu Gao Jing Li Bangbang Xu Binyuan Ye Boxue Du | 2022 | High Voltage2022,7,1: | 4 |

| 14 | Depletion of insulin receptors leads to β-cell hyperplasia in zebrafish显示文摘Hyperglycemia in type 2 diabetes results from an inability of insulin to regulate gluconeogenesis.To characterize the role of the insulin/insulin receptor pathway in glycometabolism and type 2 diabetes,we created a zebrafish model in which insulin receptors a and b(insra and insrb) have been ablated.We first observed that insra and insrb were both expressed abundantly during embryonic development and in various adult tissues.Increased expression of insulin and number of b-cells were observed in insra-/-/-insrb-/-fish together with higher glucose in insra-/-,insrb-/-,or insra-/-/-insrb-/-fish,indicating that insra and insrb were knocked out effectively.However,compared to the wild-type fish,insra-/-/-insrb-/-fish died between 5 and 16 days post-fertilization(dpf) with severe pericardial edema and increased level of cell apoptosis,which was not induced by increased total body glucose content.Increased gluconeogenesis and decreased glycolysis were also observed in both single and double knockout fish,but no mortality or malformation was observed in single knockout fish.Given the importance of insulin receptors in glucose homeostasis and embryonic development,transcriptome analysis was used to provide an important model of defective insulin signaling and to study its developmental consequences in zebrafish.The results indicated that both insra and insrb played a pivotal role in glucose metabolism and embryonic development,and insra was more critical than insrb in the insulin signaling pathway. | Binyuan Yang Gang Zhai Yulong Gong Jingzhi Su Dong Han Zhan Yin Shouqi Xie | 2017 | Science Bulletin2017,62,7: | 1 |
