1五种被动动力减振器对高层建筑脉动风振反应控制的实用设计方法显示文摘本文在建立了五种被动的动力减振器 (TMD, TLCD, LCVA, C TLD, R TLD)对高层建筑结构脉动风振反应控制的统一方程的基础上,导出了被动动力减振器对高层建筑脉动风振反应控制效果的等效结构阻尼比的统一计算公式和被动动力减振器优化参数的设计方法。在此基础上,文中依据我国《建筑结构荷载规范》,对设置被动动力减振器的高层建筑提出了抗风设计的荷载风振系数和脉动增大系数的修正公式,从而使被动动力减振器对高层建筑脉动风振反应控制的设计计算可采用常规的规范方法进行,大大方便了广大结构工程师的应用。瞿伟廉 陶牟华 C.C.CHANG 2001建筑结构学报2001,22,2:30

3撒哈拉以南非洲的国家建设和民主化:谁先谁后,还是同步前进?显示文摘在撒哈拉以南的非洲各国中,新民主制度的确立要依赖于先建设国家能力。本文通过使用民主、治理以及大众观念调查等实证数据,指出国家能力建设中哪些方面最为重要。本文的研究发现,国家基础设施的多少和社会福利的提供对民主化影响很小。但是,法治的建立(体现在个人安全感的提高和公民普遍相信政府领导尊重宪法)对民主化很关键。不过,因为政府的合法性本身也要在民主化过程中形成,所以,目前学术界将非洲各国家能力建设和民主政治分开进行的研究应当联系起来。Michael Bratton Eric C.C.Chang 王正绪 方瑞丰 2007开放时代2007,,5:6
4Effect of Laser Welding on Properties of Dissimilar Joint of Al-Mg-Si and Al-Mn Aluminum Alloys显示文摘This study discusses the welding properties for the components of an aluminum-alloy ultra-high vacuum chamber and beam position monitor (BPM).The welding parameters include the modes of laser output (pulsed wave and continuous wave),welding speed,shield gas flow,welding bead structure,and focusing distance.The results showed that the welding defect rate of the pulsed wave type was larger than that of the continuous wave type.The crack in the welding bead reduced with decreasing welding speed.The fusion penetration of the welding bead was higher when the focusing distance was long enough to deepen into the welding material.Weld morphology during the experimental process revealed the proper flow of shield gas.The adaptability design of the welding bead structure in the preceding processes had more effect on overall welding structure and morphology.C.C.Chang C.P.Chou S.N.Hsu G.Y.Hsiung J.R.Chen 2010Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,3:4

6Detection of Breaking Waves Using X-Band Pulse Radar in the Nearshore Region显示文摘An X-band pulsed Doppler microwave radar has been used to determine the characteristics of breaking waves. Field experiments were conducted at the Shuang-Si estuary in the north of Taiwan in the winter of 2005. Analyses on maxima radar cross section and Doppler frequency shift are done to characterize wave breaking zones. Based on observations of breaking waves, the wave breaking zones are shown to be located at water depths of 1.8 to 2.2 m in the experimental site. 7A correlation between pulse diagnosis of human body and health monitoring of structures显示文摘The concept of health monitoring is a key aspect of the field of medicine that has been practiced for a long time. A commonly used diagnostic and health monitoring practice is pulse diagnosis, which can be traced back approximately five thousand years in the recorded history of China. With advances in the development of modem technology, the concept of health monitoring of a variety of engineering structures in several applications has begun to attract widespread attention.Of particular interest in this study is the health monitoring of civil structures. It seems natural, and even beneficial, that these two health-monitoring methods, one as applies to the human body and the other to civil structures, should be analyzed and compared. In this paper, the basic concepts and theories of the two monitoring methods are first discussed. Similarities are then summarized and commented upon. 8GAP JUNCTIONAL INTERCELLULAR COMMUNICATION (GJIC) IN RAT GLIOMA CELLS — CHARACTERIZATIONS TO DETECT INHIBITORS OF METABOLIC COOPERATION显示文摘Gap junctional intercellular communication (GJIC) as measured by metabolic cooperation was examined in a rat glioma cell line P98F47. X-ray induced mutants of P98F47 cells were grown in 6-thioguanine selective medium (6TG medium) to separate 6TG-resistant HGPRT- mutant cells (6TGr). By co-culturing 200 6TGr cells with varied high densities of the wild type 6TG-sensitive cells (6TGs), it was found that the recovery of 6TGr cells depended on the density of 6TGs cells. Higher densities of 6TGs cells reduced the recovery of 6TGr cells. These results demonstrate the ability of P98F47 cells to perform metabolic cooperation which is indicative of GJIC. When metabolic cooperation was inhibited, increased recovery of 6TGr cells was observed. Presented results also demonstrate metabolic cooperation between P98F47 glioma cells and normal rat glial cells.
