| 1 | SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating for subduction-related gran-itic rocks in the northern part of east Junggar, Xinjiang显示文摘SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating on the Xileketehalasu granodiorite porphyry and Kalasayi monodiorite porphyry that intrude middle Devonian Beitashan Formation at the north part of east Junggar region shows that they were formed at 381±6 Ma and 376±10 Ma respectively. They are interpreted as subduction-related granitic rocks, which is the first report that the isotopic ages for the granitic rocks range from 350 to 390 Ma. Another determined age for the Kalasayi monodiorite porphyry is 408±9 Ma, representing the age of underlain Lower Devonian volcanic rocks. Thus, the U-Pb dates suggest that the northeastward subduction of Junggar ocean from southwest occurred at 408 to 376 Ma (the real inter- val may be larger). | 2 | Genome-wide Identification and Classification of HSF Family in Grape, and Their Transcriptional Analysis under Heat Acclimation and Heat Stress显示文摘Heat stress is one of the most serious threats in viticulture. Heat shock transcription factors(HSFs) have been proven to be the most important transcriptional factor family in the plant response to heat. In this study, a total of 19 putative HSF genes(VHSFs) were identified from the 12 × Vitis vinifera Pinot Noir PN4002 genome, and their chromosomal location, phylogenetic tree, exon-intron structure and conserved motifs were also analyzed. In addition, these HSFs transcriptional profiles in Vitis vinifera 'Jingxiu'(weak heat tolerance) and Vitis davidii 'Tangwei'(strong heat tolerance) under heat stress(47℃) and heat acclimation(38℃) were presented. Only VHSF01, VHSF05, VHSF15 and VHSF18 among 19 VHSFs showed different transcriptional models in these two genotypes under the same treatment, suggesting that these four VHSFs may be important factors which result in a thermotolerance difference between 'Jingxiu' and 'Tangwei'. | 4 | Geochronology,Geochemistry and Petrogenesis of Diabase Dyke Swarms in East Tianshan,Xinjiang,NW China显示文摘Diabase dyke swarms are widespread in the East Tianshan and Beishan regions. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb ages of these diabase vary from 305 Ma to 278 Ma, showing that these dykes were formed during Late Carboniferous-Early Permian magmatism. All diabase samples are subalkali calc-alkali, characterized by slight LREE and LILEs enrichment, and weak negative Ti, Nb and Ta anomalies. The diabase samples have positive εNd(t) values (>+3), high Sr isotopic compositions (initial 87Sr/86Sr values=0.7030-0.7097), and large variation of Pb isotopic compositions, indicating they were derived from a deplete mantle source. Regional geology and geochemistry evidences indicate that these diabase dyke swarms were generated in a lithosphere extensional setting and had the same magma sources. | 5 | Newly Discovered Native Gold and Bismuth in the Cihai Iron-Cobalt Deposit, Eastern Tianshan, Northwest China显示文摘The Cihai iron-cobalt deposit is located in the southern part of the eastern Tianshan ironpolymetallic metallogenic belt. Anomalous native gold and bismuth have been newly identified in Cinan mining section of the Cihai deposit. Ore formation in the deposit can be divided into three stages based on geological and petrographical observations:(I) skarn, with the main mineral assemblage being garnet-pyroxene-magnetite;(II) retrograde alteration, forming the main iron ores and including massive magnetite, native gold, native bismuth, and cobalt-bearing minerals, with the main mineral assemblage being ilvaite-magnetite-native gold-native bismuth; and(III) quartz-calcitesulfide assemblage that contains quartz, calcite, pyrrhotite, cobaltite, and safflorite. Native gold mainly coexists with native bismuth, and they are paragenetically related. The temperature of initial skarn formation was higher than 340℃, and then subsequently decreased to ~312℃ and ~266℃. The temperature of the hydrothermal fluid during the iron ore depositional event was higher than the melting point of native bismuth(271℃), and native bismuth melt scavenged gold in the hydrothermal fluid, forming a Bi-Au melt. As the temperature decreased, the Bi-Au melt was decomposed into native gold and native bismuth. The native gold and native bismuth identified during this study can provide a scientific basis for prospecting and exploration for both gold- and bismuth-bearing deposits in the Cihai mining area. | 6 | Geological settings and metallogenesis of high-grade iron deposits in China显示文摘The predominant types of high-grade iron deposits in China include skarn,sedimentary metamorphic(banded ironformation,BIF-type),continental/submarine volcanic-hosted and magmatic Fe-Ti-Voxide deposits.Based on a comprehensive review of current studies on these deposits,this paper suggests that the oxygen concentration in atmosphere played an important role for the formation of BIFs,whereas the tectonic setting and deep magmatic differentiation processes are more important for the other types.Notably,both high temperature and high pressure experiments and melt inclusion studies indicate that during the differentiation,high temperature magmas could develop iron-rich magma via liquid immiscibility but not pure oxide melt('iron ore magma').Fe-P melt could be generated directly by liquid immiscibility under hydrous and oxidized condition.The formation of high-grade iron deposits is mostly associated with the processes related to multiple stages of superimposition,e.g.,desiliconization and iron enrichment,removal of impurity,and remobilization and re-precipitation of iron.According to the temporal evolution,the high-grade iron deposit could be divided into multi-episode superimposition type(temporally discontinuous mineralization)and multi-stage superimposition type(temporally continuous mineralization).The former is represented by the sedimentary metamorphic iron deposit,and the latter includes those related to magmatic-hydrothermal fluids(e.g.,skarn,volcanic-hosted and magmatic types). | Zhaochong ZHANG Houmin LI Jianwei LI Xie-Yan SONG Hao HU Lixing LI Fengmei CHAI Tong HOU Deru XU | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,5: | 4 |
| 7 | Comparative metabolic profiling of Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera during cold acclimation显示文摘Vitis amurensis is a wild Vitis plant that can withstand extreme cold temperatures.However,the accumulation of metabolites during cold acclimation(CA)in V.amurensis remains largely unknown.In this study,plantlets of V.amurensis and V.vinifera cv.Muscat of Hamburg were treated at 4℃ for 24 and 72 h,and changes of metabolites in leaves were detected by gas chromatography coupled with time-of-flight mass spectrometry.Most of the identified metabolites,including carbohydrates,amino acids,and organic acids,accumulated in the two types of grape after CA.Galactinol,raffinose,fructose,mannose,glycine,and ascorbate were continuously induced by cold in V.amurensis,but not in Muscat of Hamburg.Twelve metabolites,including isoleucine,valine,proline,2-oxoglutarate,and putrescine,increased in V.amurensis during CA.More galactinol,ascorbate,2-oxoglutarate,and putrescine,accumulated in V.amurensis,but not in Muscat of Hamburg,during CA,which may be responsible for the excellent cold tolerance in V.amurensis.The expression levels of the genes encodingβ-amylase(BAMY),galactinol synthase(GolS),and raffinose synthase(RafS)were evaluated by quantitative reverse transcription-PCR.The expression BAMY(VIT_02s0012 g00170)and RafS(VIT_05s0077 g00840)were primarily responsible for the accumulation of maltose and raffinose,respectively.The accumulation of galactinol was attributed to different members of GolS in the two grapes.In conclusion,these results show the inherent differences in metabolites between V.amurensis and V.vinifera under CA. | Fengmei Chai Wenwen Liu Yue Xiang Xianbin Meng Xiaoming Sun Cheng Cheng Guotian Liu Lixin Duan Haiping Xin Shaohua Li | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 3 |

| 15 | New insights into the multiple magmatic fluid generations from scheelite in the Bastielieke W-polymetallic deposit,Chinese Altay(NW,China)显示文摘Scheelite is the main ore mineral in skarn-type tungsten(W-Mo,W-Sn,and W-Cu)deposits,and is also a good proxy for ore-fluid evolution and mineralization.The Bastielieke deposit is the first medium-size Wpolymetallic skarn deposit discovered in the Chinese(Xinjiang,NW China)Altay.Scheelite grains at Bastielieke are distributed in biotite granite,skarn and quartz-fluorite veins.They exhibit different textures,and can be divided into four types and six subtypes,including those in granite(Schm),prograde skarn(SchI),retrograde-altered rocks(SchII),and those in late-stage quartz-fluorite veins(SchIII).SchIa and SchIb were formed in the early and late prograde stage,respectively.SchI displays homogeneous texture,enrichments of light rare earth elements(LREEs)relative to heavy REEs(HREEs),and significantly negative Eu anomalies.SchIa has higher Sr-Mo contents and LREE/HREE than SchIb.SchII shows patchy texture by overgrowth and dissolution-reprecipitation,and can be subdivided into dark(SchIIa)and light(SchIIb)zone based in CL imaging.All SchII grains are LREE-enriched with negative Eu anomalies and relatively low LREE/HREE ratios.SchIIb has much higher W-Mo-Nb-Sr contents than SchIIa,which is ascribed to late-stage hydrothermal modifications.Schm and SchIII display homogeneous texture and similar MREE-enriched patterns,as well as very low Mo-W-Sr and different Nb contents.The texture and compositional variations in Bastielieke scheelites reveal that two magmatic fluids derived from different granitic magma reservoirs were involved in the mineralization.The earlier orefluid is relativly oxidized and has low HREE contents,forming the early prograde skarn-stage mineralization.Episodic influxes of later F-rich granitic magmatic fluids may have modified the earlier scheelite compositions,leading to multistage W enrichment and varying intragrain compositions. | Fengmei Chai Zhaochong Zhang Wen Wang Qiuhong Xie He Huang Yan Zhang Dongmei Qi Xuebing Zhang | 2023 | Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,3: | 0 |
| 16 | Early Paleozoic Granite in the Talate Mining District, Chinese Altay, and its Geological Significance for the Altay Orogenic Belt显示文摘Zircon dating,geochemical and Nd-Sr isotopic analyses have been determined for samples from two granitic intrusions in the Talate mining district,Chinese Altay.Our data suggest that these intrusions were emplaced from 462.5 Ma to 457.8 Ma.These rocks have strong affinity to peralumious S-type granite and are characterized by prominent negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.20–0.35),strong depletion in Ba,Sr,P,Ti,Nb,Ta and positive anomalies in Rb,Th,U,K,La,Nd,Zr,Hf.Nd-Sr isotopic compositions of the whole rock show negativeεNd(t)values(-1.21 to-0.08)and Mesoproterozoic Nd model ages(T2 DM=1.20–1.30 Ga).Their precursor magmas were likely derived from the partial dehydration melting of Mesoproterozoic mica-rich pelitic sources and mixed with minor mantle-derived components,under relatively low P(≤1 kbar)and high T(746–796℃)conditions.A ridge subduction model may account for the early Paleozoic geodynamic process with mantle-derived magmas caused by Ordovician ridge subduction and the opening of a slab window underplated and/or intraplated in the middle–upper crust,which triggered extensive partial melting of the shallow crust to generate diverse igneous rocks,and provided the heat for the crustal melting and juvenile materials for crustal growth. | LIU Feng CHAI Fengmei HAN Dan | 2019 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,6: | 0 |
