| 1 | Shape-free finite element method:The plane hybrid stress-function (HS-F) element method for anisotropic materials显示文摘The sensitivity problem to mesh distortion and the low accuracy problem of the stress solutions are two inherent difficulties in the finite element method.By applying the fundamental analytical solutions (in global Cartesian coordinates) to the Airy stress function of the anisotropic materials,8-and 12-node plane quadrilateral hybrid stress-function (HS-F) elements are successfully developed based on the principle of the minimum complementary energy.Numerical results show that the present new elements exhibit much better and more robust performance in both displacement and stress solutions than those obtained from other models.They can still perform very well even when the element shapes degenerate into a triangle and a concave quadrangle.It is also demonstrated that the proposed construction procedure is an effective way for developing shape-free finite element models which can completely overcome the sensitivity problem to mesh distortion and can produce highly accurate stress solutions. | CEN Song FU XiangRong ZHOU GuoHua ZHOU MingJue LI ChenFeng | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,4: | 7 |
| 2 | Lift enhancement method by synthetic jet circulation control显示文摘A novel circulation control technique is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of blowing jet circulation control,which uses the synthetic jet as the actuator and avoids the limitation about air supply requirement.The effectiveness of synthetic jet circulation control to enhance lift of NCCR1510-7067N airfoil is confirmed by solving the 2-D unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations.The aerodynamic characteristics and the flow structure(especially close to the trailing edge) of NCCR1510-7067N airfoil at zero angle of attack are also presented to discuss the mechanism of lift enhancement of the airfoil with synthetic jet circulation control.The results indicate that the synthetic jet can effectively delay the separation point on the airfoil trailing edge and increase the circulation and lift of the airfoil by Coanda effect.The numerical simulation results demonstrate that the lift augmentation efficiency with synthetic jet circulation control reaches △CL/Cμ=114 in the present study,which is much higher than the value 12.1 in the case with steady blowing jet circulation control. | ZHANG PanFeng YAN Bo DAI ChenFeng | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,9: | 7 |
| 3 | Seasonal variation effects on the formation of trihalomethane during chlorination of water from Yangtze River and associated cancer risk assessment显示文摘For the system of water samples collected from Yangtze River,the effects of seasonal variation and Fe(III) concentrations on the formation and distribution of trihalomethanes (THMs) during chlorination have been investigated.The corresponding lifetime cancer risk of the formed THMs to human beings was estimated using the parameters and procedure issued by the US EPA.The results indicated that the average concentration of THMs (100.81 μg/L) in spring was significantly higher than that in other seasons,which was related to the higher bromide ion concentration resulted from the intrusion of tidal saltwater.The total cancer risk in spring reached 8.23 × 10 ?5 and 8.86 × 10 ?5 for males and females,respectively,which were about two times of those in summer under the experimental conditions.Furthermore,it was found that the presence of Fe(III) resulted in the increased level of THMs and greater cancer risk from exposure to humans.Under weak basic conditions,about 10% of the increment of THMs from the water samples in spring was found in the presence of 0.5 mg/L Fe(III) compared with the situation without Fe(III).More attention should be given to the effect of the coexistence of Fe(III) and bromide ions on the risk assessment of human intake of THMs from drinking water should be paid more attention,especially in the coastland and estuaries. | Shaogang Liu Zhiliang Zhu Chenfeng Fan Yanling Qiu Jianfu Zhao | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,9: | 6 |

| 6 | A study of specific interaction of the transcription factor and the DNA element by atomic force microscopy显示文摘Atomic force microscopy (AFM) was employed to quantitatively detect the interaction between a transcription factor, ZmDREBIA, and its target DNA sequence (DRE).The specificity of the interaction was revealed by comparing the binding probability of ZmDREBIA to DRE element with core sequence ACCGAC and to the ERE element with core sequence AGCCGCC. | 10 | An Ultra-microporous Carbon Material Boosting Integrated Capacitance for Cellulose-Based Supercapacitors显示文摘A breakthrough in advancing power density and stability of carbon-based supercapacitors is trapped by inefficient pore structures of electrode materials.Herein,an ultramicroporous carbon with ultrahigh integrated capacitance fabricated via one-step carbonization/activation of dense bacterial cellulose(BC)precursor followed by nitrogen/sulfur dual doping is reported.The microporous carbon possesses highly concentrated micropores(~2 nm)and a considerable amount of sub-micropores(<1 nm).The unique porous structure provides high specific surface area(1554 m^2 g^-1)and packing density(1.18 g cm^-3).The synergistic effects from the particular porous structure and optimal doping effectively enhance ion storage and ion/electron transport.As a result,the remarkable specific capacitances,including ultrahigh gravimetric and volumetric capacitances(430 F g^-1 and 507 F cm^-3 at 0.5 A g^-1),and excellent cycling and rate stability even at a high current density of 10 A g^-1(327 F g^-1 and 385 F cm^-3)are realized.Via compositing the porous carbon and BC skeleton,a robust all-solid-state cellulose-based supercapacitor presents super high areal energy density(~0.77 mWh cm^-2),volumetric energy density(~17.8 W L^-1),and excellent cyclic stability. | Chenfeng Ding Tianyi Liu Xiaodong Yan Lingbo Huang Seungkon Ryu Jinle Lan Yunhua Yu Wei?Hong Zhong Xiaoping Yang | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,5: | 2 |

The final refinement gave R = 0.0691 and wR = 0.1821 for 6131 observed reflections with I > 2s(I). The cell of the complex contains two uniform mono-manganese molecules [Mn(phen)2(OAc)(H2O)]ClO4 and a solvate water molecule. Four nitrogen atoms from two chelating phenanthroline ligands and one oxygen atom from acetate ligate to the MnⅡ ion, forming a distorted octahedral geometry together with one coordinated water molecule.
