1Performance value of high risk factors in colorectal cancer screening in China显示文摘AIM:To analyze the performance value of high risk factors in population-based colorectal cancer(CRC) screening in China.METHODS:We compared the performance value of the immunochemical fecal occult blood test(iFOBT) and other high risk factors questionnaire in a population sample of 13 214 community residents who completed both the iFOBT and questionnaire investigation.Patients with either a positive iFOBT and/or questionnaire were regarded as a high risk population and those eligible were asked to undergo colonoscopy.RESULTS:The iFOBT had the highest positive predictive value and negative predictive value in screening for advanced neoplasia.The iFOBT had the highest sensitivity,lowest number of extra false positive results associated with the detection of one extra abnormality for screening advanced neoplasias and adenomas.A history of chronic cholecystitis or cholecystectomy,chronic appendicitis or appendectomy,and chronic diarrhea also had a higher sensitivity than a history of adenomatous polyps in screening for advanced neoplasias and adenomas.The sensitivity of a history of chronic cholecystitis or cholecystectomy was highest among the 10 high risk factors in screening for nonadenomatous polyps.A history of chronic appendicitis or appendectomy,chronic constipation,chronic diarrhea,mucous and bloody stool,CRC in first degree relatives,malignant tumor and a positive iFOBT also had higher sensitivities than a history of adenomas polyps in screening for non-adenomatous polyps.Except for a history of malignant tumor in screening for non-adenomatous polyps,the gain in sensitivity was associated with an increase in extra false positive results associated with the detection of one extra abnormality.CONCLUSION:The iFOBT may be the best marker for screening for advanced neoplasias and adenomas.Some unique high risk factors may play an important role in CRC screening in China.Wen Meng Shan-Rong Cai Lun Zhou Qi Dong Shu Zheng Su-Zhan Zhang 2009World Journal of Gastroenterology2009,15,48:41
2Immunohistochemical study on p53,H-rasp21,c-erbB-2 protein and PCNA expression in HCC tissues of Hart and minority ethnic patients显示文摘AIM To find out the difference of humanprimary liver carcinogenesis between Han andminority ethnic patients in Xinjiang.METHODS Expression of p53,c-erbB-2,H-rasp21 protein and proliferating cell nuclearantigen(PCNA)in tumor tissues of 50 patients(Han 38,minority 12)with primary hepaticcarcinoma was detected byimmunohistochemistry(LSAB).RESULTS The positive frequency of p53,c-erbB-2,H-rasp21 and PCNA expression was46.0%(23/50),70.0%(35/50),68.0%(34/50)and 82.0%(41/50)in tumor tissues;4.0%(2/50),22.0%(11/50),64.0%(32/50)and 52.0%(26/ 50)in peritumors respectively and asignificant difference,except for H-rasp21,ofoncogene alteration was found(P<0.05)between tumor and non-tumorous tissues.Combined the three oncogenes alteration,26%(13/50)tumor tissues had positiveimmunoreactivity,but in peritumor and normallivers it was negative.The positive rate of p53,c-erbB-2 and H-rasp21 protein expression was39.5%(15/38),60.5%(23/38)and 39.5%(15/38)in tumors of Han patients;66.7%(8/12),100%(12/12)and 75.0%(9/12)in minoritiesrespectively,with statistical difference (P<0.05).CONCLUSION Overexpression of p53,c-erbB-2and H-rasp21 in human primary liver carcinoma isan important biomarker of genetic alteration.The different frequency of these oncogeneticchanges may reflect some environmental or/andethnic hereditary factors affecting the livercarcinogenesis.The special life style of Han,Uygur,Kazak and Mongolia nationalities inXinjiang may also be related to theetiopathogenesis of this disease.Guo Yue Lin Zhao Lun Chen Cai Mo Lu Ying Li Xiao Jia Ping Rong Huang Department of Laboratory Medicine,Chinese PLA 474 Hospital,Urumqi 830011,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomic Region,China Department of Pathology,the 1st Teaching Hospital,Xinjiang Medical University,Urumqi 830054,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomic Region,China 2000World Journal of Gastroenterology2000,6,2:40
3A Review on Metal-Organic Framework-Derived Porous Carbon-Based Novel Microwave Absorption Materials显示文摘The development of microwave absorption materials(MAMs) is a considerable important topic because our living space is crowed with electromagnetic wave which threatens human’s health.And MAMs are also used in radar stealth for protecting the weapons from being detected.Many nanomaterials were studied as MAMs,but not all of them have the satisfactory performance.Recently,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) have attracted tremendous attention owing to their tunable chemical structures,diverse properties,large specific surface area and uniform pore distribution.MOF can transform to porous carbon(PC) which is decorated with metal species at appropriate pyrolysis temperature.However,the loss mechanism of pure MOF-derived PC is often relatively simple.In order to further improve the MA performance,the MOFs coupled with other loss materials are a widely studied method.In this review,we summarize the theories of MA,the progress of different MOF-derived PC-based MAMs,tunable chemical structures incorporated with dielectric loss or magnetic loss materials.The different MA performance and mechanisms are discussed in detail.Finally,the shortcomings,challenges and perspectives of MOF-derived PC-based MAMs are also presented.We hope this review could provide a new insight to design and fabricate MOF-derived PC-based MAMs with better fundamental understanding and practical application.Zhiwei Zhang Zhihao Cai Ziyuan Wang Yaling Peng Lun Xia Suping Ma Zhanzhao Yin Yi Huang 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,4:17
4Experimental exploration and research prospect of physical bases and functional characteristics of meridians显示文摘The physical basis of meridians and acupoints (acupuncture points) is in a complex system mainly of connective tissue and interwoven with the blood capillaries, nerves, lymph vessels,etc. Elements of Ca, P, K, Fe, Zn, Mn, etc are found concentrated in the deep connective tissue structures in locations corresponding to acupoints. On this physical basis, the specific waveband of high efficiency for transmission of infrared rays exists in the collagenous fibre in a liquid crystal state. 6Efficacy and safety of the long-acting fusion inhibitor albuvirtide in antiretroviral-experienced adults with human immunodeficiency virus-1:interim analysis of the randomized,controlled,phase 3,non-inferiority TALENT study显示文摘Background:Albuvirtide is a once-weekly injectable human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-1 fusion inhibitor.We present interim data for a phase 3 trial assessing the safety and efficacy of albuvirtide plus lopinavir-ritonavir in HIV-1-infected adults already treated with antiretroviral drugs.Methods:We carried out a 48-week,randomized,controlled,open-label non-inferiority trial at 12 sites in China.Adults on the World Health Organization(WHO)-recommended first-line treatment for>6 months with a plasma viral load>1000 copies/mL were enrolled and randomly assigned(1:1)to receive albuvirtide(once weekly)plus ritonavir-boosted lopinavir(ABT group)or the WHO-recommended second-line treatment(NRTI group).The primary endpoint was the proportion of patients with a plasma viral load below 50 copies/mL at 48 weeks.Non-inferiority was prespecified with a margin of 12%.Results:At the time of analysis,week 24 data were available for 83 and 92 patients,and week 48 data were available for 46 and 50 patients in the albuvirtide and NRTI groups,respectively.At 48 weeks,80.4%of patients in the ABT group and 66.0%of those in the NRTI group had HIV-1 RNA levels below 50 copies/mL,meeting the criteria for non-inferiority.For the per-protocol population,the superiority of albuvirtide over NRTI was demonstrated.The frequency of grade 3 to 4 adverse events was similar in the two groups;the most common adverse events were diarrhea,upper respiratory tract infections,and grade 3 to 4 increases in triglyceride concentration.Renal function was significantly more impaired at 12 weeks in the patients of the NRTI group who received tenofovir disoproxil fumarate than in those of the ABT group.Conclusions:The TALENT study is the first phase 3 trial of an injectable long-acting HIV drug.This interim analysis indicates that once-weekly albuvirtide in combination with ritonavir-boosted lopinavir is well tolerated and non-inferior to the WHO-recommended second-line regimen in patients with first-line treatment failure.Trial registration:ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier:NCT02369965;http://gffzz90ed6ce9d87f4798s5596cquv0qww6p0k.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn Clinical Trial Registry No.ChiCTR-TRC-14004276;http://gffzz62a03ee25e6f4a77h5596cquv0qww6p0k.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/enindex.aspx.Bin Su Cheng Yao Qing-Xia Zhao Wei-Ping Cai Min Wang Hong-Zhou Lu Yuan-Yuan Chen Li Liu Hui Wang Yun He Yu-Huang Zheng Ling-Hua Li Jin-Feng Chen Jian-Hua Yu Biao Zhu Min Zhao Yong-Tao Sun Wen-Hui Lun Wei Xia Li-Jun Sun Li-Li Dai Tai-Yi Jiang Mei-Xia Wang Qing-Shan Zheng Hai-Yan Peng Yao Wang Rong-Jian Lu Jian-Hua Hu Hui Xing Yi-Ming Shao Dong Xie Tong Zhang Fu-Jie Zhang Hao Wu TALENT Study Team 2020Chinese Medical Journal2020,,24:10
7Engineering T cells for immunotherapy of primary human hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Liver cancers, majority of which are primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC), continue to be on the rise in the world. Furthermore, due to the lack of effective treatments, liver cancer ranks the 4th most common cause of male cancer deaths. Novel therapies are urgently needed. Over the last few years,immunotherapies, especially the checkpoint blockades and adoptive cell therapies of engineered T cells,have demonstrated a great potential for treating malignant tumors including HCC. In this review, we summarize the current ongoing research of antigen-specific immunotherapies including cancer vaccines and adoptive cell therapies for HCC. We briefly discuss the HCC cancer vaccine and then focus on the antigen-specific T cells genetically engineered with the T cell receptor genes(TCRTs) and the chimeric antigen receptor genes(CARTs). We first review the current options of TCRTs and CARTs immunotherapies for HCC, and then analyze the factors and parameters that may help to improve the design of TCRTs and CARTs to enhance their antitumor efficacy and safety. 9Highly Efficient Synthesis of Environmentally Friendly Ag-modified TiO2 Nanoflowers to Enhance Photocatalytic Performance显示文摘Ag-modified TiO2 nanoflowers were prepared using a two-step process. The experimental process is green and free from contamination and can be synthesized directly at room temperature. Compared with pure TiO2, Ag-modified TiO2 enhances the absorption of visible light and effectively promotes the detachment of photoelectron pairs, Ag-TiO2 has a significantly enhanced visible light response activity to photodecomposition of methyl orange(MO). It is shown that the strong interaction between Ag nanoparticles and TiO2 enhances the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nanoflowers. The self-made open-air reactor was used to test the photocatalytic performance of different samples. The results showed that Ag-modified TiO2 nanoflowers had excellent photodegradation ability. 11Boosting pH-Universal Hydrogen Evolution of Molybdenum Disulfide Particles by Interfacial Engineering显示文摘The design of high-efficiency non-noble and earth-abundant electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is highly paramount for water splitting and renewable energy systems.Molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))with abundant edge sites can be utilized as a promising alternative,but its catalytic activity is greatly related to the pH values,especially in an alkaline environment due to the extremely high energy barriers for water adsorption and dissociation steps.Here we report an exceptionally efficient and stable electrocatalyst to improve the sluggish HER process of layered MoS_(2)particles in different pH electrolytes,especially in base.The electrocatalyst is constructed by in situ growing selenium-doped MoS_(2)(Se-MoS_(2))nanoparticles on three-dimensional cobalt nickel diselenide(mCo_(0.2)Ni_(0.8)Se_(2))nanostructured arrays.Due to the large number of active edge sites of Se-MoS_(2)particles exposed at the surface,robust electrical conductivity and large surface area of mCo_(0.2)Ni_(0.8)Se_(2)support,and strong interfacial interactions between Se-MoS_(2)and mCo_(0.2)Ni_(0.8)Se_(2),this hybrid catalyst shows very outstanding catalytic HER properties featured by low overpotentials of 30 and 122 mV at 10 and 100 mA/cm^(2)with good operational stability in base,respectively,which outperforms most of inexpensive catalysts consisting of layered MoS_(2),transition metal selenides and sulfides,and it performs as well as noble Pt catalysts.Meanwhile,this electrocatalyst is also very active in neutral and acidic electrolytes,requiring low overpotentials of 93 and 94 mV at 10 mA/cm^(2),respectively,demonstrating its superb pH universality as a HER electrocatalyst with excellent catalytic durability.This study provides a straightforward strategy to construct an efficient non-noble electrocatalyst for driving the HER kinetics in different electrolytes.Liling Liao Lun Yang Gang Zhao Haiqing Zhou Fengming Cai Yi Li Xiuzhang Wang Fang Yu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,2:2

15Comparison of Depression and Anxiety between Unmarried Female Youth in Two Groups of Induced Abortion and None-Induced Abortion in Yibin City of China显示文摘Objectives To explore the risk factors influencing the mental status of unmarried female youth. Methods A cross-sectional survey and a qualitative interview were adopted. 1 200 unmarried female volunteers (600 with IA) who aged 15-29 years in Yibin city were investigated, and 8 focus group discussions (FGDs) and 8 in-depth interviews were conducted. Except the investigation of subject’s personal information, econ-socio status, sexual behavior, contraception and reproductive health problems they face, two self- reporting scales, CES-D and SAS were used for assessment of depression and anxiety of the subjects. Results 1) Depression and anxiety among unmarried female youth investigated in current study are relatively common. Proportions of the females with depression and anxiety to the total sample are 27.4% and 33.4%, respectively; 2) Depression and anxiety of the females with IA are more serious than that of the female without IA. Proportions of unmarried females with IA have depression and anxiety to the total unmarried females with IA are 3.45 times and 2.61 times that of unmarried females without IA have depression and anxiety to the total unmarried females without IA, respectively; 3) IA is one of the key risk factors influencing depression and anxiety of unmarried female youth. Other risk factors are lack on basic knowledge about sex/ STD/HIV/AIDS, reproductive tract infections, relatively lower income, age at sex debut is relatively younger, etc. In addition, multiple sex partners and repeat pregnancieswere risk factors influencing anxiety of unmarried female youth. Conclusion Depession and anxiety was more popular in unmarried females with IA.
