1Significant concurrent decrease in PM_(2.5) and NO_(2) concentrations in China during COVID-19 epidemic显示文摘The strict control measures and social lockdowns initiated to combat COVID-19 epidemic have had a notable impact on air pollutant concentrations.According to observation data obtained from the China National Environmental Monitoring Center,compared to levels in 2019,the average concentration of NO_(2) in early 2020 during COVID-19 epidemic has decreased by 53%,50%,and 30%in Wuhan city,Hubei Province(Wuhan excluded),and China(Hubei excluded),respectively.Simultaneously,PM_(2.5) concentration has decreased by 35%,29%,and 19%in Wuhan,Hubei(Wuhan excluded),and China(Hubei excluded),respectively.Less significant declines have also been found for SO_(2) and CO concentrations.We also analyzed the temporal variation and spatial distribution of air pollutant concentrations in China during COVID-19 epidemic.The decreases in PM_(2.5) and NO_(2) concentrations showed relatively consistent temporal variation and spatial distribution.These results support control of NO x to further reduce PM_(2.5) pollution in China.The concurrent decrease in NOx and PM_(2.5) concentrations resulted in an increase of O3 concentrations across China during COVID-19 epidemic,indicating that coordinated control of other pollutants is needed.Biiuu Chu Shuping Zhang Jun Liu Qingxin Ma Hong He 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,1:21

3Wnt/β-catenin signaling is involved in the Icariin induced proliferation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of icariin on proliferation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs) in Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats.METHODS: BMSCs were obtained from SD rat bone marrow with differential time adherent method. Its characteristic was identified through differentiation cell surface antigens and the multi-lineage(osteo/adipo/chondo) differentiation potential. 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) method and 5-Bromo-2-Deoxyuridine(Brd U) incorporation were applied to detect the effect of icariin on BMSCs proliferation.Flow cytometry was used to detect proliferation in-dex of BMSCs. The m RNA level and the distribution of β-catenin were evaluated by Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) and Immunofluorescent staining respectively. Western blot was used to detect protein expression levels of β-catenin, glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta(GSK-3β), phospho-glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta(p GSK-3β)and cyclin D1.RESULTS: Icariin promoted BMSCs proliferation at the concentration of 0.05-2.0 mg/L. The percentage of Brd U positive cells of BMSCs was increased from40.98% to 70.42%, and the proliferation index value was increased from 8.9% to 17.5% with the treatment of 0.05 mg/L icariin, which significance values were both less than 0.05. Compared with the control group, total and nuclear β-catenin proteins, as well as β-catenin m RNA expression, were all increased with icariin treatment. Meanwhile, the phosphorylation level of GSK-3β and cyclin D1 protein expressions were also increased in BMSCs with icariin treatment.CONCLUSION: The findings of the present study demonstrated that low dosage of icariin could promote BMSCs proliferation. 4Bone biomaterials and interactions with stem cells显示文摘Bone biomaterials play a vital role in bone repair by providing the necessary substrate for cell adhesion,proliferation, and differentiation and by modulating cell activity and function. In past decades, extensive efforts have been devoted to developing bone biomaterials with a focus on the following issues:(1)developing ideal biomaterials with a combination of suitable biological and mechanical properties;(2)constructing a cell microenvironment with pores ranging in size from nanoscale to submicro-and microscale;and(3) inducing the oriented differentiation of stem cells for artificial-to-biological transformation. Here we present a comprehensive review of the state of the art of bone biomaterials and their interactions with stem cells. Typical bone biomaterials that have been developed, including bioactive ceramics, biodegradable polymers, and biodegradable metals, are reviewed, with an emphasis on their characteristics and applications. The necessary porous structure of bone biomaterials for the cell microenvironment is discussed,along with the corresponding fabrication methods. Additionally, the promising seed stem cells for bone repair are summarized, and their interaction mechanisms with bone biomaterials are discussed in detail.Special attention has been paid to the signaling pathways involved in the focal adhesion and osteogenic differentiation of stem cells on bone biomaterials. 8Polysaccharides from Tricholoma matsutake and Lentinus edodes enhance 5-fluorouracil-mediated H22 cell growth inhibition显示文摘OBJECTIVE: Few studies have investigated the effects produced by combinations of polysaccharides and chemotherapeutic drugs in cancer treatment.We hypothesized that a combinationo fpolysaccha rides(COP) from Lentinus edodes and Tricholoma matsutake would improve the efficacy of 5-fluorouracil(5-FU)-mediated inhibition of H22 cell growth.METHODS: Mice were injected H22 cells and then treated with either 5-FU, polysaccharides from Tricholoma matsutake(PTM), polysaccharides from Lentinus edodes(PL), PTM+PL, 5-FU+PTM, 5-FU+PL, or 5-FU+COP. The tumor weight and volume,and splenic CD4 + and CD8 + T cell frequencies,were determined. Additionally, splenic natural killer(NK) cell and cytotoxic Tlymphocyte (CTL) activities were assessed and the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),Interleukin-2(IL-2),and Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) were measured. 5-FU, PL, PTM, PTM+PL, 5-FU+PL, and 5-FU+PTM groups, mice treated with 5-FU+COP showed:(a)significantly reduced tumor weight and volume(P<0.05);(b) significantly higher serum levels ofTNF-α,IL-2, and IFN-γ(P<0.05);(c) significantly increased CD4+andCD8+Tcell frequencies in the spleen(P<0.05); and(d) significantly increased splenic NK cell and CTL activities(P<0.05). The tumor weight and volume in mice treated with 5-FU+PL or 5-FU+PTM were significantly reduced compared with mice treated with 5-FU alone(P<0.05). 11Climatic and environmental implications from n-alkanes in glacially eroded lake sediments in Tibetan Plateau:An example from Ximen Co显示文摘Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used to identify a series of n-alkanes in the sediments of a typical glacially eroded lake in the eastern Tibetan Plateau.By comparing the distribution patterns of n-alkanes in lake sediments,surface soils and cow manure,it was shown that n-C 27-n-C 33 alkanes in the soil ecosystem of Ximen Co are derived from vascular plant species and that the distribution pattern of n-C 27-n-C 33 alkanes remains unchanged during the feeding and digestion processes of herbivores.The relative percentage of C 27,C 29 and C 31 n-alkanes decreased from the bottom to the top of the sediment core showing a trend of degradation of higher plants in the Ximen Co lake region during the formation of the 44 cm core.210 Pb dating,combined with pre-existing AMS 14 C dating results showed that the depositional core reflects climatic and environmental variations since about 900 years before present.The n-alkane indexes (ACL 27-33,P aq,P wax) are comparable with regional temperature variation,especially recording the Little Ice Age event (LIA).This study highlights that n-alkanes are valid proxies for paleo-climate and paleo-environment reconstruction,despite the same distribution patterns in n-alkane molecular fossils derived from a typical glacially eroded lake.PU Yang ZHANG HuCai WANG YongLi LEI GuoLiang NACE Trevor ZHANG ShuPing 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,14:10
12Accelerated degradation of HAP/PLLA bone scaffold by PGA blending facilitates bioactivity and osteoconductivity显示文摘The incorporation of hydroxyapatite(HAP)into poly-L-lactic acid(PLLA)matrix serving as bone scaffold is expected to exhibit bioactivity and osteoconductivity to those of the living bone.While too low degradation rate of HAP/PLLA scaffold hinders the activity because the embedded HAP in the PLLA matrix is difficult to contact and exchange ions with body fluid.In this study,biodegradable polymer poly(glycolic acid)(PGA)was blended into the HAP/PLLA scaffold fabricated by laser 3D printing to accelerate the degradation.The results indicated that the incorporation of PGA enhanced the degradation rate of scaffold as indicated by the weight loss increasing from 3.3%to 25.0%after immersion for 28 days,owing to the degradation of high hydrophilic PGA and the subsequent accelerated hydrolysis of PLLA chains.Moreover,a lot of pores produced by the degradation of the scaffold promoted the exposure of HAP from the matrix,which not only activated the deposition of bone like apatite on scaffold but also accelerated apatite growth.Cytocompatibility tests exhibited a good osteoblast adhesion,spreading and proliferation,suggesting the scaffold provided a suitable environment for cell cultivation.Furthermore,the scaffold displayed excellent bone defect repair capacity with the formation of abundant new bone tissue and blood vessel tissue,and both ends of defect region were bridged after 8 weeks of implantation.Cijun Shuai Wenjing Yang Pei Feng Shuping Peng Hao Pan 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,2:8

14Polygenetic Mineralization of the Early ProterozoicTongkuangyu Metaporphyry Copper Deposit inthe Zhongtiao Mountains,Shanxi Province显示文摘The Tongkuangyu metaporphyry copper deposit formed in the Early Proterozoic is tectonically located in the northern part of the Zhongtiao X -type palaeorift depression, on the southern margin of the North China platform. The genesis of the deposit has long been a hot subject of research of geologists working on mineral deposits. By means of the protolith reconstruction and fluid inclusion and isotope studies of host rocks of the deposits, the authors hold that this deposit is the product of combined exogenic, endogenic and metamorphic processes. 15Reservoir differences and formation mechanisms in the Ke-Bai overthrust belt,northwestern margin of the Junggar Basin,China显示文摘There are some differences in reservoir quality of clastic rock between the hanging wall and the foot wall of the Ke-Bai overthrust belt,northwestern margin of the Junggar Basin,western China,which affect the effi cient petroleum exploration in this highly mature exploration area. Based on a large number of thin-sections,cast thin-sections,and physical property analysis of cores,we systematically discuss the Permian-Jurassic reservoir differences between the hanging wall and the foot wall of the Ke-Bai overthrust fault from the aspects of structural evolution,time-space distribution of the depositional system,diagenesis characteristics,and reservoir quality and analyzed the reasons for the differences in reservoir properties. The overthrusting of the Ke-Bai fault directly results in different burial histories,diagenesis evolution,and porosity evolution between the hanging wall and the foot wall. The differences of reservoir characteristics are mainly embodied in buried depth,grain size,sedimentary facies,diagenetic stage,and reservoir quality. The analysis results showed that burial history and depositional characteristics controlled by overthrusting are direct influencing factors of reservoir differences. Because of shallow burial depth of the hanging wall,the reservoir compaction is weak and primary pores are preserved well. The porosity of reservoir on the hanging wall is generally 10%-25%. The strata on the foot wall are deeply buried,and there are mainly mixed pores with the average porosity of 5%-20%. 16Preparation and activity evaluation of NiMoB/-Al_2O_3 catalyst by liquid-phase furfural hydrogenation显示文摘Amorphous MoNiB/ -Al 2 O 3 alloy catalysts were prepared by reducing NiCl 2 ·6H 2 O and (NH 4 ) 6 Mo 7 O 24 ·4H 2 O supported on -Al 2 O 3 with NaBH 4 as reducing agent. Using liquid-phase hydro-genation of furfural (FFR) as a probe reaction, the activity of MoNiB/ -Al 2 O 3 was examined. Compared to NiB and NiMoB, NiMoB/ -Al 2 O 3 exhibited excellent activity and selectivity towards furfuryl alcohol (FFA). After reaction for 3.0 h at 80 ℃ and 5.0 MPa in methanol, FFR conversion reached 99% with FFA yield of 91%. The effects of doping amount of Mo and calcination temperature before NaBH 4 reduction on hydrogenation activity were also investigated. The optimum Mo/Ni atom ratio and calcination temperature were found to be 1:7 and 300 ℃, respectively. 17Robust stability and H-infinity control for uncertain discrete-time Markovian jump singular systems显示文摘The robust stability and stabilization, and H-infinity control problems for discrete-time Markovian jump singular systems with parameter uncertainties are discussed. Based on the restricted system equivalent (r.s.e.) transformation and by introducing new state vectors, the singular system is transformed into a discrete-time Markovian jump standard linear system, and the linear matrix inequality (LMI) conditions for the discrete-time Markovian jump singular systems to be regular, causal, stochastically stable, and stochastically stable with γ-disturbance attenuation are obtained, respectively. With these conditions, the robust state feedback stochastic stabilization problem and H-infinity control problem are solved, and the LMI conditions are obtained. 18Correlation between the cumulative analgesic effect of electroacupuncture intervention and synaptic plasticity of hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus neurons in rats with sciatica显示文摘In the present study, a rat model of chronic neuropathic pain was established by ligation of the sciatic nerve and a model of learning and memory impairment was established by ovariectomy to investigate the analgesic effect of repeated electroacupuncture stimulation at bilateral Zusanli (ST36) and Yanglingquan (GB34). In addition, associated synaptic changes in neurons in the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus were examined. Results indicate that the thermal pain threshold (paw withdrawal latency) was significantly increased in rats subjected to 2-week electroacupuncture intervention compared with 2-day electroacupuncture, but the analgesic effect was weakened remarkably in ovariectomized rats with chronic constrictive injury. 2-week electroacupuncture intervention substantially reversed the chronic constrictive injury-induced increase in the synaptic cleft width and thinning of the postsynaptic density. 19淀粉酶处理对竹材防霉性能的影响显示文摘毛竹竹材由于富含淀粉和糖,在适宜的条件下极易受到以此为食的各种霉菌的侵害,给竹材加工业造成重大的损失,因此必须进行竹材的防霉保护。传统的化学药剂浸渍竹材,虽然防霉效果优异,但因其含有对人体有害的化学物质或重金属成分,长期使用会影响人类的身体健康。而利用生物酶进行竹材的防霉处理,不但简便高效,而且绿色无毒。在研究过程中采用7种不同酶量的淀粉酶溶液来处理竹材样品,同时对比了最适加酶量下3种不同处理时间和3种不同处理温度对竹材样品防霉的效果。试验结果表明:随着淀粉酶处理液中酶量的增加,竹材样品的淀粉和还原糖含量下降明显;淀粉酶处理液的处理时间对降低竹材淀粉和还原糖含量起到关键作用,适当延长竹材的酶处理时间有益于降低竹材的淀粉和还原糖含量;适合的淀粉酶处理温度能提高淀粉酶水解效率,降低竹材淀粉和还原糖含量。在竹材的防霉试验中,经淀粉酶溶液处理过的竹材,对3种霉菌(黑曲霉、桔青霉和绿色木霉)均有很好的抗霉效果;随着淀粉酶处理液酶量和处理时间的增加,竹材的防霉性能有了明显的提高。结果表明,最佳淀粉酶处理工艺为:酶量120 U/mL,酶处理时间36 h,酶处理温度95℃。研究结果可为竹材的防霉研究提供参考。黄晓东 黄俊昆 许忠允 TODD Finley Shupe 林金国 李世杰 2019林业工程学报2019,4,3:6
20Sedimentation Rate Rhythms:Evidence from Filling of the Tarim Basin,Northwest China显示文摘Variations of sedimentation rate within a basin over geologic time are a time series that can be filtered into several cyclic wave curves. Based on back-stripping and the empirical mode decomposition method, the cores from 14 wells in the Tarim Basin were selected to do filtering analysis. Four cycles or quasi-cycles(33 Ma, 64.4 Ma, 103.6 Ma, and 224 Ma) were obtained.
