| 1 | Crustal deformation on the Chinese mainland during 1998—2004 based on GPS data显示文摘This study focuses on resolving moderate amounts of crustal motion at the continental scale based on a large volume of global positioning system(GPS) data during 1998e2014. A state-of-the-art GPS processing strategy was used to resolve position time series and velocities from carrier beat phases for all available data. Position time series were closely analyzed to estimate linear constant, coseismic displacements, postseismic motions, and other parameters. We present coseismic offsets inferred from the GPS data for the 2010 Yushu and 2014 Yutian earthquakes, and also illustrate transient postseismic motions following the 2001 Kokoxili, 2008 Wenchuan, and 2011 Tohoku-Oki earthquakes. Since not all GPS position time series dominated by postseismic motions can be modeled and corrected reasonably, we present contemporary horizontal velocities from 2009 to 2014 for campaign stations and from 1998 to 2014 for continuous stations, irrespective of postseismic deformations. | 3 | Accuracy of triage strategies for human papillomavirus DNA-positive women in low-resource settings:A cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Objective: Care HPV is a human papillomavirus(HPV) DNA test for low-resource settings(LRS).This study assesses optimum triage strategies for care HPV-positive women in LRS.Methods: A total of 2,530 Chinese women were concurrently screened for cervical cancer with visual inspection with acetic acid(VIA),liquid-based cytology and HPV testing by physician-and self-collected care HPV,and physician-collected Hybrid Capture 2(HC2).Screen-positive women were referred to colposcopy with biopsy and endocervical curettage as necessary.HPV-positivity was defined as ≥1.0 relative light units/cutoff(RLU/CO) for both care HPV and HC2.Primary physician-HC2,physician-care HPV and self-care HPV and in sequential screening with cytology,VIA,or increased HPV test-positivity performance,stratified by age,were assessed for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) grade 2/3 or worse(CIN2/3+) detection.Results: The sensitivities and specificities of primary HPV testing for CIN2+ were: 83.8%,88.1% for physiciancare HPV; 72.1%,88.2% for self-care HPV; and 97.1%,86.0% for HC2.Physician-care HPV test-positive women with VIA triage had a sensitivity of 30.9% for CIN2+ versus 80.9% with cytology triage.Self-care HPV testpositive women with VIA triage was 26.5% versus 66.2% with cytology triage.The sensitivity of HC2 test-positive women with VIA triage was 38.2% versus 92.6% with cytology triage.The sensitivity of physician-care HPV testing for CIN2+ decreased from 83.8% at ≥1.0 RLU/CO to 72.1% at ≥10.00 RLU/CO,while the sensitivity of selfcare HPV testing decreased from 72.1% at ≥1.0 RLU/CO to 32.4% at ≥10.00 RLU/CO; similar trends were seen with age-stratification.Conclusions: VIA and cytology triage improved specificity for CIN2/3 than no triage.Sensitivity with VIA triage was unsuitable for a mass-screening program.VIA provider training might improve this strategy.Cytology triage could be feasible where a high-quality cytology program exists.Triage of HPV test-positive women by increased test positivity cutoff adds another LRS triage option. | Margaret Wang Shangying Hu Shuang Zha o Wenhua Zhang Qinjing Pan Xun Zhang FengChen Jinxiu Han Junfei Ma Jennifer S.Smith Youlin Qiao Caihong Zhou Fanghui Zhao | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,6: | 6 |

| 8 | Dihydromyricetin promotes apoptosis, suppresses proliferation and tumor necrosis factor-α-mediated nuclear factor kappa-B activation in nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2 cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy of dihydromyricetin(DMY) on nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) cell proliferation, apoptosis and to reveal the underlying mechanism in vitro experiments.METHODS: The CNE-2 cell line was treated with different concentrations of DMY and the effects of DMY on cell viability and proliferation were evaluated using cell counting kit-8(CCK-8) assay and plate colony formation assay. Cellular apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry following Annexin V fluorescein isothiocyanate/propidine iodide staining.Nuclei morphology was observed under a fluorescence microscope following Hoechst 333258 staining. The expression of phosphorylated inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit beta(p-IKKβ), phosphorylated inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit alpha(p-IKKα), inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B alpha(IκB-α), nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)/p65 was examined by Western blot analysis and the nuclear translocation of NF-κB/p65 was observed using a confocal laser scanning microscopy.RESULTS: DMY inhibited the proliferative capability and colony formation of NPC CNE-2 cells. Meanwhile, DMY induced apoptosis of CNE-2 cells in a dose and time-dependent manner via upregulating B-cell lymphoma-2 associated X, but downregulating B-cell lymphoma-2 and pro-caspase-3. Importantly, we found that DMY suppressed tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)-mediated NF-κB activation via inhibiting p-IKKβ, p-IKKα and blocking NF-κB subunit p65.CONCLUSION: Our experiments demonstrated that DMY had significant antiproliferative and apoptosisinducing effects on CNE-2 cells. Additionally, DMY promoted inactivation of p-IKKβ, p-IKKα,and blocked the nuclear translocation of NF-κB subunit p65. The results show that the deformation of coal filled with 0.5 MPa gas is more higher than that of coal filled with 0 MPa gas under the same axial stress. | 15 | Multiplicity of solutions to geophysical inversion reflected by rupture slip distribution of the 2015 Nepal earthquake显示文摘The equivalence of geophysical fields,the finiteness of measurements and the measurement errors make the result of geophysical inversion non-unique.For example,the measurements and inversion method used,the priori rupture model determined and the slip distribution smoothing factor selected will have significant influences on the earthquake rupture slip distribution.Using different data and methods,different authors have given different rupture slip distribution models of the 2015 Mw7.9 Nepal earthquake,with the maximum slip ranging from 3.0 m to 6.8 m.In this paper,geometry parameters of the single rectangular fault model in elastic half-space were inferred constraining with the Global Positioning System(GPS) and Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(InSAR) coseismic deformations and bounding the slip with approximate average value;and then,the single rectangular fault was divided into multiple sub-faults,and the final slip smoothing factor,the final slip distribution and the maximum slip were determined with the misfit-roughness tradeoff curve,the cross-validation sum of squares(CVSS) and the third-party observation data or indexes being comprehensively taken into account.The results show that,the rupture of the Nepal earthquake extended by over 100 km east by south.The maximum slip of the earthquake was about 6.5-6.7 m,and most of the slip is confined at depths of 8-20 km,consistent with the depth distribution of aftershocks.The method for reducing the multiplicity of solutions to rupture slip distribution in this paper was ever used in inversion of rupture slip distribution for the 2008 Wenchuan and 2013 Lushan earthquakes,and the third-party measurement-surface dislocation has very large effect on reducing the multiplicity of solutions to inversion of the Wenchuan earthquake.Other priori information or indicators,such as fault strike,dip,earthquake magnitude,seismic activity,Coulomb stress,and seismic period,can be used for beneficial validation of and comparison with inversion results. | Kai Tan Caihong Zhang Bin Zhao Qi Wang Ruilin Du Rui Zhang Xuejun Qiao Yong Huang | 2017 | Geodesy and Geodynamics2017,8,1: | 2 |
