| 2 | Grain yield and water use of winter wheat as affected by water and sulfur supply in the North China Plain显示文摘Water shortage has threatened sustainable development of agriculture globally as well as in the North China Plain(NCP).Irrigation,as the most effective way to increase food production in dry land,may not be readily available in the situation of drought.One of the alternatives is to supply plants with enough nutrients so that they can be more sustainable to the water stress.The objective of this study was to explore effects of irrigation and sulphur(S)application on water consumption,dry matter accumulation(DMA),and grain yield of winter wheat in NCP.Three irrigation regimes including no irrigation(rainfed,I_0)during the whole growth period,once irrigation only at jointing stage(90 mm,I_1),and twice respective irrigation at jointing and anthesis stages(90 mm plus 90 mm,I_2),and two levels of S application including 0(S_0)and 60 kg ha^(–1)(S_(60))were designed in the field experiment in NCP.Results showed that increasing irrigation times significantly increased mean grain yield of wheat by 12.5–23.7%and nitrogen partial factor productivity(NPFP)by 21.2–45.0%in two wheat seasons,but markedly decreased crop water use efficiency(YWUE).Furthermore,S supply 60 kg ha^(–1) significantly increased mean grain yield,YWUE,IWUE and NPFP by 5.6,6.1,23.2,and 5.6%(across two wheat seasons),respectively.However,we also found that role of soil moisture prior to S application was one of important greater factors on improving the absorption and utilization of storage water and nutrients of soil.Thus,water supply is still the most important factor to restrict the growth of wheat in the present case of NCP,supplying 60 kg ha^(–1) S with once irrigation 90 mm at the jointing stage is a relatively appropriate recommended combination to improve grain yield and WUE of wheat when saving water resources is be considered in irrigated wheat farmlands of NCP. | XIE Ying-xin ZHANG Hui ZHU Yun-ji ZHAO Li YANG Jia-heng CHA Fei-na LIU Cao WANG Chen-yang GUO Tian-cai | 2017 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2017,16,3: | 6 |

| 4 | Using Airgun Source Signals to Study Regional Wave Velocity Changes before and after the Yunlong M_S5.0 and Yangbi M_S5.1 Earthquakes显示文摘On the basis of the airgun source signals recorded by the stations from January,2016 to June,2017,we use cross-correlation detection technology to obtain the characteristics of the stable phase travel time change of each station.We used the Yunlong MS5.0 and Yangbi MS5.1 earthquakes as samples.According to regional characteristics,13 stations with high signal-to-noise ratios and complete data were selected(including 3 fixed stations and 10 active source stations).They are divided into four regions,and on the basis of the GNSS baseline data,the characteristics of regional wave velocity changes before and after the earthquake are analyzed.The results show that the station phase travel time change and the regional stress characteristics represented by the GNSS baseline data have good correlation in the short-term.Due to different degrees of regional stress,there are differences in the travel time changes of different stations in the four regions.Before the Yunlong MS5.0 and Yangbi MS5.1 earthquakes,with regional stress adjustment,there is an upward trend in the travel time changes of related stations in the adjacent areas of up to 0.02 s.The difference is that there are differences in the time nodes and duration of the travel time anomalies,and there is a reverse descent process after the Yangbi MS5.1 earthquake.There are different degrees of travel time fluctuations in the relevant stations before and after the two earthquakes,but the fluctuation range before and after the earthquake was small.Compared with the water level change of the reservoir,the adjustment of the regional stress is more likely to have a substantial impact on the travel time changes of the relevant stations. | YANG Jianwen LI Lei ZHANG Pengying YE Beng HE Yingwen CHEN Jia CHA Wenjian | 2019 | Earthquake Research in China2019,33,2: | 4 |

| 7 | A theoretical and 1-D numerical investigation on a valve/valveless air-breathing pulse detonation engine显示文摘The important operating characteristics of pulsed Pressure Gain Combustion(PGC)propulsion are the pressure gain of the combustor component and the propulsive performance gain of the engine.A ramjet-type valve/valveless air-breathing pulsed detonation engine with a supersonic internal compression inlet is investigated.Based on an ideal thermal cycle,the ideal equivalent pressure ratios(pcb)of the Pulsed Detonation Combustor(PDC)are obtained theoretically which are directly related with the propulsive performance of the engine.By introducing an orifice loss model into the cycles,the critical pressure drop ratios through the orifice for the PDC achieving pressure gain and the engine achieving thrust gain are studied.More influencing factors are investigated by the use of a one-dimensional(1-D)numerical simulation model.The operating characteristics of the pulse detonation engine are investigated with changes of the valve type,the inlet/outlet area ratio of the PDC,the nozzle area ratio,and flight conditions.All these factors can affect pcbof the PDC,and pcbcan be optimized by changing the geometry of the engine.The most important influence parameter is the valve type.When using an orifice-type aerodynamic valve,simulation results show that the PDC cannot achieve the pressure gain characteristics.When a supersonic internal compression inlet is introduced to the engine,whether the Pulse Detonation Engine(PDE)can achieve thrust gain comparable with that of an ideal Brayton cycle engine not only is related to the pressure gain of the combustor,but also needs to optimize the engine structure to reduce the total pressure loss. | Hua QIU Cha XIONG Jianling LI | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,1: | 2 |
| 8 | Chitosan and β-cyclodextrin Microspheres as Pulmonary Sustained Delivery Systems显示文摘Chitosan andβ-cyclodextrin were used to prepare microspheres with theophylline for pulmonary delivery by spray drying method.The characteristics,mucociliotoxicity,permeation rate and drug release were studied.The drug entrapments of microspheresⅠ,ⅡandⅢ were from 35.70%to 21.09% and 13.33%,while yields and encapsulation efficiencies were higher than 45% and about 90% respectively. | 12 | Comparative outcomes of subcutaneous and transvenous cardioverter-defibrillators显示文摘Background: The comparative outcomes of subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (S-ICD) and transvenous (T-ICD) have not been well studied. The aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of currently available S-ICD and T-ICD. Methods: The study included 86 patients who received an S-ICD and 1:1 matched to those who received single-chamber T-ICD by gender, age, diagnosis, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), and implant year. The clinical outcomes and implant complications were compared between the two groups. Results: The mean age of the 172 patients was 45 years, and 129 (75%) were male. The most common cardiac condition was hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM, 37.8%). The mean LVEF was 50%. At a mean follow-up of 23 months, the appropriate and inappropriate ICD therapy rate were 1.2% vs. 4.7%(X^2= 1.854, P=0.368) and 9.3% vs. 3.5%(X^2 = 2.428, P = 0.211) in S-ICD and T-ICD groups respectively. There were no significant differences in device-related major and minor complications between the two groups (7.0% vs. 3.5%, X^2 = 1.055, P = 0.496). The S-ICD group had higher T-wave oversensing than T-ICD group (9.3% vs. 0%, X^2 = 8.390, P=0.007). Sixty-five patients had HCM (32 in S-ICD and 33 in T-ICD). The incidence of major complications was not significantly different between the two groups. Conclusions: The efficacy of an S-ICD is comparable to that of T-ICD, especially in a dominantly HCM patient population.
