1Crack-based and Hair-like Sensors Inspired from Arthropods:A Review显示文摘Over a long period of time,arthropods evolve to have two excellent mechanical sensilla of slit sensilla and trichobothria sensilla,which construct a perfect perception system.The former mainly perceives the change of the in-the-plane force while the latter perceives that of the out-of-plane force.In recent years,these two sensilla have attracted researchers as the models for developing artificial mechanical sensors.This review mainly includes the biomechanics and biomimetic manufacturing techniques as well as their future application value.In order to better understand the advantages of biological strategies,this review describes the morphology,mechanical analysis,and information recognition of slit sensilla and trichobothria sensilla.Then this review highlights the recent development of Crack-based Sensors(CBSs)and Hair-like Sensors(HLSs)based on the analysis of biological mechanism.The manufacturing method and substrate of crack in CBS and those of hair rods in HLS are discussed respectively.Finally,the practical applications and potential value of two sensilla,such as flexible wearable electronic devices,robot sensing system,autopilot sensing and wind tunnel speed detection,are briefly discussed.Changchao Zhang Junqiu Zhang Daobing Chen Xiancun Meng Linpeng Liu Kejun Wang Zhibin Jiao Tao Sun Dakai Wang Shichao Niu Zhiwu Han Luquan Ren 2020Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,5:2
2Fouling process and anti-fouling mechanisms of dynamic membrane assisted by photocatalytic oxidation under sub-critical fluxes显示文摘Membrane fouling is often considered as a hindrance for the application of microfiltration/ultrafiltration(MF/UF) for drinking water production. A novel process of photocatalytic membrane reactor/dynamic membrane(PMR/DM), operating in a continuous mode under sub-critical flux, was proposed for the mitigation of membrane fouling caused by humic acids(HAs) in water. The mechanism of membrane fouling alleviation with synergistic photocatalytic oxidation and dynamic layer isolating effect was comprehensively investigated from the characterization of foulant evolution responsible for the reversible and irreversible fouling. The results showed that the PMR/DM utilized photocatalytic oxidation to enhance the porosity and hydrophilicity of the fouling layer by converting the high molecular weight(MW) and hydrophobic HA molecules with carboxylic functional groups and aromatic structures into low-MW hydrophilic or transphilic fractions, including tryptophan-like or fulvic-like substances. The fouling layer formed in the PMR/DM by combination of photocatalytic oxidation and DM running at a sub-critical flux of 100 L·h^-1·m^-2, was more hydrophilic and more porous, resulting in the lowest trans-membrane pressure(TMP) growth rates, as compared to the processes of ceramic membrane(CM), DM and PMR/CM.Meanwhile, the dynamic layer prevented the foulants, particularly the high-MW hydrophobic fractions,from contacting the primary membrane, which enabled the membrane permeability to be restored easily.Tao Yang Fen Liu Houfeng Xiong Qiyong Yang Fushan Chen Changchao Zhan 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,8:1
3Aluminum Alloy Fatigue Crack Damage Prediction Based on Lamb Wave-Systematic Resampling Particle Filter Method显示文摘Fatigue crack prediction is a critical aspect of prognostics and health management research.The particle filter algorithm based on Lamb wave is a potential tool to solve the nonlinear and non-Gaussian problems on fatigue growth,and it is widely used to predict the state of fatigue crack.This paper proposes a method of lamb wavebased early fatigue microcrack prediction with the aid of particle filters.With this method,which the changes in signal characteristics under different fatigue crack lengths are analyzed,and the state-and observation-equations of crack extension are established.Furthermore,an experiment is conducted to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.The Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)of the three different resampling methods are compared.The results show the system resampling method has the highest prediction accuracy.Furthermore,the factors affected by the accuracy of the prediction are discussed.Gaozheng Zhao Changchao Liu Lingyu Sun Ning Yang Lei Zhang Mingshun Jiang Lei Jia Qingmei Sui 2022Structural Durability & Health Monitoring2022,16,1:0
