Rock-breaking mechanism and experimental analysis of confined blasting of borehole surrounding rock显示文摘The rock-breaking mechanism and effect of confined blasting were analysed by blasting and impact dynamic mechanics, fluid dynamic mechanics, fracture mechanics as well as blasting experiment. The results showed that the fracturing of surrounding rock in confined blasting condition is the result of coaction of rock pre-cracking by shock wave and stress wave and the continuing expanding crackenhancement of confined medium, and the model of crack development of borehole surrounding rock in confined blasting condition was established. This study acquired the damage range of surrounding rock under the action of shock wave and stress wave, as well as the crack development characteristics of surrounding rock after the wedge-in confined medium into the crack space. Deep-hole confined blasting experiment on large rock showed that the high-efficient utilisation of in-hole explosive was achieved and the safety of rock blasting operation was ensured. Safe static rock-breaking under the action of high-efficient explosive blasting was achieved as well as the unification of super dynamic load of explosive blasting and static rock-breaking of water medium. | Liu Changyou Yang Jingxuan Yu Bin | 2017 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2017,27,5: | 12
Arch structure effect of the coal gangue flow of the fully mechanized caving in special thick coal seam and its impact on the loss of top coal显示文摘Based on the characteristics of the top coal thickness of the fully mechanized caving in special thick coal seam, the long distance of coal gangue caving,as well as the different sizes of the coal gangue broken fragment dimension and spatial variation of drop flow, this paper uses laboratory dispersion simulation experiment and theoretical analysis to study the arch structure effect and its influence rule on the top coal loss in the process of coal gangue flow.Research shows that in the process of coal gangue flow, arch structure can be formed in three types:the lower arch structure, middle arch structure, and upper arch structure. Moreover, the arch structure has the characteristics of dynamic random arch, the formation probability of dynamic random arch with different layers is not the same, dynamic random arch caused the reduction of the top coal fluency;analyzing the dynamic random arch formation mechanism, influencing factors, and the conditions of instability;the formation probability of the lower arch structure is the highest, the whole coal arch and the coal gangue arch structure has the greatest impact on top coal loss. Therefore,to prevent or reduce the formation of lower whole coal arch structure, the lower coal gangue arch structure and the middle whole coal arch structure is the key to reduce the top coal loss. The research conclusion provides theoretical basis for the further improvement of the top coal recovery rate of the fully mechanized caving in extra thick coal seam. | Zhang Ningbo Liu Changyou | 2016 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,4: | 8
Rational cutting height for large cutting height fully mechanized top-coal caving显示文摘Large cutting height fully mechanized top-coal caving is a new mining method that improves recovery ratio and single-pass production. It also allows safe and efficient mining. A rational cutting height is one key parameter of this technique. Numerical simulation and a granular-media model experiment were used to analyze the effect of cutting height on the rock pressure of a fully mechanized top-coal caving work face. The recovery ratio was also studied. As the cutting height increases the top-coal thickness is reduced. Changing the ratio of cutting to drawing height intensifies the face pressure and the top-coal shattering. A maximum cutting height exists under a given set of conditions due to issues with surrounding rock-mass control. An increase in cutting height makes the top-coal cave better and the recovery ratio when drawing top-coal is then improved. A method of adjusting the face rock pressure is presented. Changing the cutting to drawing height ratio is the technique used to control face rock pressure. The recovery ratio when cutting coal exceeds that when caving top-coal so the face recovery ratio may be improved by over sizing the cutting height and increasing the top-coal drawing ratio. An optimum ratio of cutting to drawing height exists that maximizes the face recovery ratio. A rational cutting height is determined by comprehensively considering the surrounding rock-mass control and the recovery ratio. At the same time increasing the cutting height can improve single pass mining during fully mechanized top-coal caving. | Huang Bingxiang Li Hongtao Liu Changyou Xing Shijun Xue Weichao | 2011 | Mining Science and Technology2011,21,3: | 7
Similarity simulation of bolt support in a coal roadway in a tectonic stress field显示文摘In order to study the mechanism of bolt support and the behavior of strata in a coal roadway under tectonic stress, deformation and destruction of a roof, floor and sides were studied using an experiment in similarity simulation. We also studied the mechanism and types of bolt support functions in the coal roadway. The results show that with an increase in horizontal tectonic stress, the strata in the roof and floor of the roadway gradually separate and become shear failure areas.Coal in side walls moves, but its integrity remains intact.Side bolts are mainly affected by tension and roof bolts by the effect of shear. | LU Yan LIU Changyou | 2010 | Mining Science and Technology2010,20,5: | 6
Effects of gully terrain on stress field distribution and ground pressure behavior in shallow seam mining显示文摘This study proposes a novel approach to study stress field distribution and overlying ground pressure behavior in shallow seam mining in gully terrain. This approach combines numerical simulations and field tests based on the conditions of gully terrain in the Chuancao Gedan Mine. The effects of gully terrain on the in situ stress field of coal beds can be identified by the ratio of self-weight stress to vertical stress(η) at the location corresponding to the maximum vertical stress.Based on the function η =j(h),the effect of gully terrain on the stress field of overlying strata of the entire field can be characterized as a significantly affected area, moderately affected area,or non-affected area.Working face 6106 in the Chuancao Gedan Mine had a coal bed Jepth <80 m and was located in what was identified as a significantly affected area.Hence, mining may cause sliding of the gully slope and increased loading(including significant dynamic loading) on the roof strata.Field tests suggest that significant dynamic pressures were observed at the body and foot of the gully slope, and that dynamic loadings were observed upslope of the working face expansion, provided that the expanding direction of the working face is parallel to the gully. | Li Jianwei Liu Changyou Zhao Tong | 2016 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,2: | 6
Effects of caving–mining ratio on the coal and waste rocks gangue flows and the amount of cyclically caved coal in fully mechanized mining of super-thick coal seams显示文摘Aimed at determining the appropriate caving–mining ratio for fully mechanized mining of 20 m thick coal seam, this research investigated the effects of caving–mining ratio on the flow fields of coal and waste rocks, amount of cyclically caved coal and top coal loss by means of numerical modeling. The research was based on the geological conditions of panel 8102 in Tashan coal mine. The results indicated the loose coal and waste rocks formed an elliptical zone around the drawpoint. The ellipse enlarged with decreasing caving–mining ratio. And its long axis inclined to the gob gradually became vertical and facilitating the caving and recovery of top coal. The top coal loss showed a cyclical variation; and the loss cycle was shortened with the decreasing in caving–mining ratio. Moreover, the mean squared error(MSE) of the amount of cyclically caved coal went up with increasing caving–mining ratio, indicating a growing imbalance of amount of cyclically caved coal, which could impede the coordinated mining and caving operations. Finally it was found that a caving–mining ratio of 1:2.51 should be reasonable for the conditions. | Zhang Ningbo Liu Changyou Pei Mengsong | 2015 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,1: | 6
Pleural fluid from tuberculous pleurisy inhibits the functions of T cells and the differentiation of Th1 cells via immunosuppressive factors显示文摘Immunosuppressive mediators in tuberculosis pleurisy(pleural fluid(PF))are associated with the course of disease, but they remain poorly defined. To study the local immune status of patients with tuberculosis pleurisy,we examined the effect of PF on the functions of T cells and the differentiation of Th1 cells.PF could inhibit the ability of T cells to produce cytokines.However,tumor-necrosis factor(TNF)-a derived from non-T cells was not impaired.Further analysis indicated that cell activation and cell cycle progression were also suppressed. Moreover,PF could inhibit Th1 cell differentiation.Importantly,we found that inhibitors of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase(IDO)and adenosine and neutralizing antibodies against IL-10 and transforming growth factor(TGF)-b could reverse cytokine production, suggesting that IDO,adenosine,IL-10 and Transforming growth factor–b1 in PF might take part in impairing T-cell functions.Taken together, our data demonstrate for the first time that several immunopathological factors participate in the downregulation of T-cell functions in local PF. | Qin Li Li Li Yun Liu Xiaoying Fu Dan Qiao Hui Wang Suihua Lao Fengyu Huang Changyou Wu | 2011 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2011,8,2: | 4
Crystalline behaviors and phase transition during the manufacture of fine denier PA6 fibers显示文摘Recently we have successfully produced fine denier PA6 fibers by using additives containing lanthanide compounds.Meanwhile, crystallization and phase transition of PA6 fibers during spinning and drawing processes were investigated.During the spinning process,β phase crystal could be obtained in as-spun PA6 fibers which were produced with relatively high melt draw ratio, while γ phase crystal predominated when the melt draw ratio was relatively low.β phase crystal, whose behaviors are similar with those of γ phase by FT-IR and XRD characterization, could be transformed to α form easily when PA6 fibers are immersed in boiling water. However,γ phase crystal of PA6 remains unchanged in boiling water. Thus,β and γ phase crystals of PA6 can be differentiated by the crystalline behaviors of PA6 fibers after treatment in boiling water.Further experiments demonstrate that the β phase can also be produced during a drawing process where a phase transformation from γ to α occurs. In other words,β phase may act as an intermediate state during the phase transformation. | ZHANG ChengFeng LIU YuHai LIU ShaoXuan LI HuiZhen HUANG Kun PAN QingHua HUA XiaoHui HAO ChaoWei MA QingFang LV ChangYou LI WeiHong YANG ZhanLan ZHAO Ying WANG DuJin LAI GuoQiao JIANG JianXiong XU YiZhuang WU JinGuang | 2009 | Science China Chemistry2009,52,11: | 4
Data-driven Transient Stability Assessment Based on Kernel Regression and Distance Metric Learning显示文摘Transient stability assessment(TSA) is of great importance in power systems. For a given contingency, one of the most widely-used transient stability indices is the critical clearing time(CCT), which is a function of the pre-fault power flow.TSA can be regarded as the fitting of this function with the prefault power flow as the input and the CCT as the output. In this paper, a data-driven TSA model is proposed to estimate the CCT. The model is based on Mahalanobis-kernel regression, which employs the Mahalanobis distance in the kernel regression method to formulate a better regressor. A distance metric learning approach is developed to determine the problem-specific distance for TSA, which describes the dissimilarity between two power flow scenarios. The proposed model is more accurate compared to other data-driven methods, and its accuracy can be further improved by supplementing more training samples. Moreover, the model provides the probability density function of the CCT, and different estimations of CCT at different conservativeness levels. Test results verify the validity and the merits of the method. | Xianzhuang Liu Yong Min Lei Chen Xiaohua Zhang Changyou Feng | 2021 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,1: | 4

A Pragmatic Method to Determine Transient Stability Constrained with Interface Real Power Flow Limits via Power System Scenario Similarity显示文摘In practical power systems, operators generally keep interface flowing under the transient stability constrained with interface real power flow limits(TS-IRPFL)to guarantee transient stability of the system. Many methods of computing TS-IRPFL have been proposed. However,in practice, the method widely used to determine TS-IRPFL is based on selection and analysis of typical scenarios as well as scenario matching.First, typical scenarios are selected and analyzed to obtain accurate limits, then the scenario to be analyzed is matched with a certain typical scenario, whose limit is adopted as the forecast limit. In this paper, following the steps described above,a pragmatic method to determine TS-IRPFL is proposed. The proposed method utilizes data-driven tools to improve the steps of scenario selection and matching.First of all,we formulate a clear model of power system scenario similarity.Based on the similarity model,we develop a typical scenario selector by clustering and a scenario matcher by nearest neighbor algorithm. The proposed method is pragmatic because it does not change the existing procedure. Moreover,it is much more reasonable than the traditional method.Test results verify the validity of the method. | Xianzhuang Liu Yong Min Lei Chen Xiaohua Zhang Changyou Feng Wei Hu | 2020 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,1: | 1

A Novel Cross-Project Software Defect Prediction Algorithm Based on Transfer Learning显示文摘Software Defect Prediction(SDP) technology is an effective tool for improving software system quality that has attracted much attention in recent years. However, the prediction of cross-project data remains a challenge for the traditional SDP method due to the different distributions of the training and testing datasets.Another major difficulty is the class imbalance issue that must be addressed in Cross-Project Defect Prediction(CPDP).In this work,we propose a transfer-leaning algorithm(TSboostDF) that considers both knowledge transfer and class imbalance for CPDP.The experimental results demonstrate that the performance achieved by TSboostDF is better than those of existing CPDP methods. | Shiqi Tang Song Huang Changyou Zheng Erhu Liu Cheng Zong Yixian Ding | 2022 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,1: | 1
