1Synthesis and evaluation of an oil-soluble viscosity reducer for heavy oil显示文摘To reduce the viscosity of highly-viscous oil of the Tahe oilfield (Xinjiang,China),an oilsoluble polybasic copolymer viscosity reducer for heavy oil was synthesized using the orthogonal method.The optimum reaction conditions are obtained as follows:under the protection of nitrogen,a reaction time of 9 h,monomer mole ratio of reaction materials of 3:2:2 (The monomers are 2-propenoic acid,docosyl ester,maleic anhydride and styrene,respectively),initiator amount of 0.8% (mass percent of the sum of all the monomers) and reaction temperature of 80 oC.This synthesized viscosity reducer is more effective than commercial viscosity reducers.The rate of viscosity reduction reached 95.5% at 50 oC.Infrared spectra (IR) and interfacial tensions of heavy oil with and without viscosity reducer were investigated to understand the viscosity reduction mechanism.When viscosity reducer is added,the molecules of the viscosity reducer are inserted amongst the molecules of crude oil,altering the original intermolecular structure of crude oil and weakening its ability to form hydrogen bonds with hydroxyl or carboxyl groups,so the viscosity of crude oil is reduced.Field tests of the newly developed oil-soluble viscosity reducer was carried out in the Tahe Oilfield,and the results showed that 44.5% less light oil was needed to dilute the heavy oil to achieve the needed viscosity.Guo Jixiang Wang Heyi Chen Chaogang Chen Yun Xie Xiaohai 2010Petroleum Science2010,7,4:24
2Commercial Application of CPP for Producing Ethylene and Propylene from Heavy Oil Feed显示文摘A new process named CPP (Catalytic Pyrolysis Process) for producing ethylene andpropylene from heavy oil feedstock has been developed. The catalyst CEP was specially designedfor this process, which has bi-functional catalytic activities for both carbonium ion reaction andfree radical reaction, so as to maximize the yields of ethylene and propylene. 3Isotype Heterojunction‑Boosted CO_(2) Photoreduction to CO显示文摘Photocatalytic conversion of CO_(2) to high-value products plays a crucial role in the global pursuit of carbon–neutral economy.Junction photocatalysts,such as the isotype heterojunctions,offer an ideal paradigm to navigate the photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CRR).Herein,we elucidate the behaviors of isotype heterojunctions toward photocatalytic CRR over a representative photocatalyst,g-C_(3)N_(4).Impressively,the isotype heterojunctions possess a significantly higher efficiency for the spatial separation and transfer of photogenerated carriers than the single components.Along with the intrinsically outstanding stability,the isotype heterojunctions exhibit an exceptional and stable activity toward the CO_(2) photoreduction to CO.More importantly,by combining quantitative in situ technique with the first-principles modeling,we elucidate that the enhanced photoinduced charge dynamics promotes the production of key intermediates and thus the whole reaction kinetics.Chaogang Ban Youyu Duan Yang Wang Jiangping Ma Kaiwen Wang Jiazhi Meng Xue Liu Cong Wang Xiaodong Han Guozhong Cao Liyong Gan Xiaoyuan Zhou 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,5:2
4Expression of bkt and bch genes from Haematococcus pluvialis in transgenic Chlamydomonas显示文摘β-carotene ketolase andβ-carotene hydroxylase encoded by bkt and bch,respectively,are key enzymes required for astaxanthin biosynthesis in Haematococcu pluvialis 34-1n.Two expression vectors containing cDNA sequences of bkt and bch were constructed and co-transformed into cell-wall-deficient Chlamydomonas reinhardtii CC-849.Transgenic algae were screened on TAP agar plates containing 10μg mL-1 Zeomycin.PCR-Southern analysis showed that bkt and bch were integrated into the genomes of C.reinhardtii.Transcripts of bkt and bch were further confirmed by RT-PCR-Southern analysis.Compared with the wild type,transgenic algae produced 29.04%and 30.27%more carotenoids and xanthophylls,respectively.Moreover,the transgenic algae could accumulate 34%more astaxanthin than wild type.These results indicate that foreign bkt and bch genes were successfully translated intoβ-carotene ketolase andβ-carotene hydroxylase,which were responsible for catalyzing the biosynthesis of astaxanthin in transgenic algae.ZHENG KaiJing WANG ChaoGang XIAO Ming CHEN Jun LI JianCheng HU ZhangLi 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,10:1

8Bismuth clusters pinned on TiO_(2) porous nanowires boosting charge transfer for CO_(2) photoreduction to CH_(4)显示文摘Artificial photosynthesis in carbon dioxide(CO_(2))conversion into value-added chemicals attracts considerable attention but suffers from the low activity induced by sluggish separation of photogenerated carriers and the kinetic bottleneck-induced unsatisfied selectivity.Herein,we prepare a new-style Bi/TiO_(2) catalyst formed by pinning bismuth clusters on TiO_(2) nanowires through being confined by pores,which exhibits high activity and selectivity towards photocatalytic production of CH_(4) from CO_(2).Boosted charge transfer from TiO_(2) through Bi to the reactants is revealed via in situ X-ray photon spectroscopy and time-resolved photoluminescence(PL).Further,in situ Fourier transform infrared results confirm that Bi/TiO_(2) not only overcomes the multi-electron kinetics challenge of CO_(2) to CH_(4) via boosting charge transfer,but also facilitates proton production and transfer as well as the intermediates*CHO and*CH_(3)O generation,ultimately achieving the tandem catalysis towards methanation.Theoretical calculation also underlies that the more favorable reaction step from*CO to*CHO on Bi/TiO_(2) results in CH_(4) production with higher selectivity.Our work brings new insights into rational design of photocatalysts with high performance and the formation mechanism of CO_(2) to CH_(4) for solar energy storage in future.Jiazhi Meng Kaiwen Wang Yang Wang Jiangping Ma Chaogang Ban Yajie Feng Bin Zhang Kai Zhou Liyong Gan Guang Han Danmei Yu Xiaoyuan Zhou 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
9Cosmogenic^(10)Be dating of the oldest moraine in the Hengduan Mountains显示文摘The Hengduan Mountains is in the transitional zone between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP)and the YunnanGuizhou Plateau in China,and a key area for elucidating the Quaternary environmental changes in Asia.The paleo-Daocheng ice cap was located on the Shaluli Hilly Plateau in the northeastern Hengduan Mountains,the oldest moraines in the Hengduan Mountains region were found in the ice cap area.Such glacial landforms provide key evidence to study the timing when this area entered the cryosphere with the uplift of the QTP.However,it is difficult to collect suitable glacial boulders from these moraines for traditional terrestrial in-situ cosmogenic nuclide(TCN)exposure dating because of long-term severe moraine degradation.Here,we collected clast samples from the moraine surface and depth profile to constrain the age of the oldest moraine in Kuzhaori(moraine E)using TCN^(10)Be dating technique.The minimum^(10)Be ages of five clast samples from the moraine surface range from 187.4±1.5 to 576.8±4.3 ka,implying that the moraine has been seriously degraded since deposition.Based on the TCN^(10)Be concentrations of the samples from a depth profile and simulations,the exposure-erosion-inheritance history of the profile was obtained.By fitting to the profile^(10)Be concentrations using the chi-square test,the simulations yielded a reliable age of 626.0±52.5 ka for the moraine.Therefore,the oldest moraine(moraine E)in Kuzhaori was most likely formed at about 0.63Ma ago,corresponding to the marine isotope stage(MIS)16.This glaciation represents the maximum Quaternary glaciation after the QTP was elevated into the cryosphere by the Kunlun-Yellow River Tectonic Movement.Zhigang ZHANG Jiahong ZHENG Haitao CUI Zhijun ZHAO Xinggong KONG Chaogang ZHENG Hong ZHANG Fei GUO Zhiyang CHANG Xue YUAN Mingyang YAN Jie ZHANG Jian WANG 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,10:0
10A new insight into the promoting effects of transition metal phosphides in methanol electrooxidation显示文摘The construction of highly active catalysts for methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)is central to direct methanol fuel cells.Tremendous progress has been made in transition metal phosphides(TMPs)based catalysts.However,TMPs would be partially damaged and transformed into new substances(e.g.,Pt-M-P composite,where M represents a second transition metal)during Pt deposition process.This would pose a large obstacle to the cognition of the real promoting effects of TMPs in MOR.Herein,Co_(2)P co-catalysts(Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC,where NPC stands for N and P co-doped carbon)and Pt-Co-P composite catalysts(Pt-CoP/NPC)were controllably synthesized.Electrocatalysis tests show that the Pt-Co-P/NPC exhibits superior MOR activity as high as 1016 m A/mg_(Pt),significantly exceeding that of Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC(345 m A/mg_(Pt)).This result indicates that the promoting effect is ascribed primarily to the resultant Pt-Co-P composite,in sharply contrast to previous viewpoint that Co_(2)P itself improves the activity.Further mechanistic studies reveal that Pt-Co-P/NPC exhibits much stronger electron interaction and thus manifesting a remarkably weaker CO absorption than Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC and Pt/C.Moreover,Pt-Co-P is also more capable of producing oxygen-containing adsorbate and thus accelerating the removal of surface-bonded CO^(*),ultimately boosting the MOR performance.Junjie Ding Shaojie Jing Changqing Yin Chaogang Ban Kaiwen Wang Xue Liu Youyu Duan Yuxin Zhang Guang Han Liyong Gan Jinsong Rao 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,6:0
11The Relationships between Erythrocyte Membrane n-6 to n-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids Ratio and Blood Lipids and C-reactive Protein in Chinese Adults:An Observational Study显示文摘Objective To investigate the relationships between erythrocyte membrane n‐6:n‐3 PUFAs ratio and blood lipids and high sensitivity C‐reactive protein (hs‐CRP).Methods The observational study consisted of a population‐based cross‐sectional study of 456 Chinese and a subsequent 1‐year follow‐up study of 171 subjects with the fasting plasma total cholesterol of 5.13‐8.00 mmol/L.Results In the cross‐sectional analysis,plasma low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐c) had a significant and negative association with the erythrocyte membrane n‐6:n‐3 PUFAs ratio (P for trend=0.019) after adjusting for sex,age and total PUFA percentage.In the follow‐up study,171 subjects were categorized into quartiles by the changes of n‐6:n‐3 ratio in erythrocyte membrane (△=month 12‐month 0).In the top quartile whose ratios of n‐6:n‐3 increased by an average of 1.25 during the follow‐up,the LDL‐c‐lowering extent was 3.3 times of that in the lowest quartile whose ratios of n‐6:n‐3 decreased by an average of 1.13 (‐1.07 mmol/L v.s.‐0.32 mmol/L).The hsCRP decreased by 0.11 mg/dL in the lowest quartile while increasing by 0.10 mg/dL in the top quartile (P for difference=0.052).Conclusion Our results suggested that the balance between n‐6 and n‐3 fatty acids may optimize the cardiovascular benefits from dietary PUFAs.ZHANG Bo WANG Ping ZHOU Quan CHEN ChaoGang ZHUO ShuYu YE YanBin HE QiQiang CHEN YuMing SU YiXiang 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,3:0
12Controllability of surface plasmon polariton far-field radiation using a metasurface显示文摘In this study, a point-scattering approach to the plane-wave optical transmission of subwavelength metal nanoslit arrays with varying angles of rotation and that of subwavelength metal supercell arrays consisting of nanoslits capable of various angles of rotation is developed.It is demonstrated that the suggested theories show good agreement with the simulations and experiments. The results show that constructive and destructive interference at each nanoslit can respectively enhance and suppress the surface plasmon polariton (SPP) far-field radiation of a metasurface. 13Regulating local coordination environment of Mg-Co single atom catalyst for improved direct methanol fuel cell cathode显示文摘Fuel cells operated with a reformate fuel such as methanol are promising power systems for portable electronic devices due to their high safety,high energy density and low pollutant emissions.However,several critical issues including methanol crossover effect,CO-tolerance electrode and efficient oxygen reduction electrocatalyst with low or non-platinum usage have to be addressed before the direct methanol fuel cells(DMFCs)become commercially available for industrial application.Here,we report a highly active and selective Mg-Co dualsite oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)single atom catalyst(SAC)with porous N-doped carbon as the substrate.The catalyst exhibits a commercial Pt/C-comparable half-wave potential of 0.806 V(versus the reversible hydrogen electrode)in acid media with good stability.Furthermore,practical DMFCs test achieves a peak power density of over 200 m W cm^(-2)that far exceeds that of commercial Pt/C counterpart(82 m W cm^(-2)).Particularly,the Mg-Co DMFC system runs over 10 h with negligible current loss under 10 M concentration methanol work condition.Experimental results and theoretical calculations reveal that the N atom coordinated by Mg and Co atom exhibits an unconventional d-band-ditto localized p-band and can promote the dissociation of the key intermediate*OOH into*O and*OH,which accounts for the near unity selective 4e-ORR reaction pathway and enhanced ORR activity.In contrast,the N atom in SAC–Co remains inert in the absorption and desorption of*OOH and*OH.This local coordination environment regulation strategy around active sites may promote rational design of high-performance and durable fuel cell cathode electrocatalysts.Kaiwen Wang Hanjun Zou Jiazhi Meng Chaogang Ban Xue Liu Jiangping Ma Cong Wang Liyong Gan Xiaodong Han Xiaoyuan Zhou 2023Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,6:0
