| 1 | Effect of direct current pulse stimulating acupoints of JiaJi (T10-L3) and Ciliao (BL 32) with Han's Acupoint Nerve Stimulator on labour pain in women: a randomized controlled clinical study显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the clinical effect and safety of direct current(DC) pulse produced by Han's Acupoint Nerve Stimulator in reduction(HANS) of labor pain.METHODS: Totally 120 participants were enrolled in this clinical trial, and were randomly divided into4 groups including: HANS group, patient controlled intravenous analgesia(PCIA) group, patient-controlled epidural analgesia(PCEA) group and control group. The HANS group was treated by stimulating the acupoints of Jia Ji(T10-L3) and Ciliao(BL 32)with DC pulse of 100 Hz and 15-30 m A produced by a portable battery-powered Han's Acupoint Nerve Stimulator for 30 min. The PCIA group was intravenously infused Ondansetron(8 mg) for 5 min, then tramadol injection(1.5 mg/kg) was slowly dripped by using Baxter APⅡ electronic pump with50 m L tramadol(0.70%) + ondansetron(8 mg),background infusion 2 m L/h, PCA dose of 2 m L,lockout interval of 10 min. In PCEA group, women received intrathecal injection ropivacaine(3 mg) in L2-3, and epidural catheter was connected to Baxter APⅡ electronic pump, with 100 m L Ropivacaine(0.1%) and Sufentanil(50 ug), background infusion5 m L, Patient controlled analgesia(PCA) dose of 5m L, lockout interval of 10 min. The control group was not received analgesia. The visual analogue scale(VAS), stage and manner of labor, Apgar score of newborn, neonatal weights, oxytocin dosage, postpartum hemorrhage and side effects were monitored in all groups.RESULTS: The vital signs were all stable in the four analgesic groups. After analgesia, there was statistical difference in VAS score between HANS group and control group, between PCEA group and the control group, between PCIA group and control group. The analgesic effect in the PCEA group was significantly better than that of other two groups. The second stage of labor in the PCEA group was longer than the other three groups, showing significant difference between them. The Apgar score of newborn 1min after birth in the PCIA group was slightly lower than that of the other two groups, showing significant difference between them. The neonatal weights between four groups were not significantly different. The rate of cesarean sectionin the control group was significantly higher than that of the labor analgesia group, there was statistically difference in four groups. The number of PCIA group that used oxytocin was lower than that of other three groups. There was no significant difference in postpartum hemorrhage between four groups. The side effects of the PCEA group were itching, uroschesis and neonatal asphyxia and PCIA group were nausea and vomiting and neonatal asphyxia. However, fewer side effects were observed in the HANS group.CONCLUSION: The DC pulse produced by HANS may be a non-pharmacological alternative to labor pain with fewer side effects. | Liu Ye Xu Mingjun Che Xiangming He Junqin Guo Dandan Zhao Guosheng Zhang Guogang Zhang Shuo Kang Kai Zhang Chunlei Wang Yinan Li Shan Zhang Qinglin Xu Li Zhang Ming Han Bin Jing Yumiao Zhang Ning | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,6: | 4 |

| 3 | Discovery of a wild, genetically pure Chinese giant salamander creates new conservation opportunities显示文摘Effective conservation of threatened biota relies on accurate assessments and scientific guidance. As an unfortunate example,Chinese giant salamanders(Andrias,CGS)remain critically endangered in nature.Misguided conservation efforts,e.g.,commercial propagation and releasing of millions of likely non-indigenous or interspecific hybrids, have further compromised conservation initiatives.Limited information on wild populations of CGS poses a significant conservation challenge.Following 18-month long field monitoring,we now report the discovery of a wild population of CGS in a closed nature reserve in Jiangxi Province,China.Genomic assessments reveal its genetic distinctiveness and do not detect genetic admixture with other species.Based on morphological and molecular evidences,we describe this CGS as a new species Andrias jiangxiensis sp.nov.This is the only known species of CGS today with a genetically pure, reproducing,in situ population. This discovery emphasizes the important role that closed nature reserves play in protecting species, and the necessity of integrating long-term field monitoring and genetic assessments. It sets a new pathway for discovering and conserving endangered species, especially for those biotas that are similarly being extirpated by anthropogenic translocations and overexploitation. | Jing Chai Chen-Qi Lu Mu-Rong Yi Nian-Hua Dai Xiao-Dong Weng Ming-Xiao Di Yong Peng Yong Tang Qing-Hua Shan Kai Wang Huan-Zhang Liu Hai-Peng Zhao Jie-Qiong Jin Ru-Jun Cao Ping Lu Lai-Chun Luo Robert W.Murphy Ya-Ping Zhang Jing Che | 2022 | Zoological Research2022,43,3: | 2 |

| 5 | Lipoprotein(a) is associated with coronary atheroma progression: analysis from a serial coronary computed tomography angiography study显示文摘BACKGROUND Lipoprotein(a)[Lp(a)]has been closely related to coronary atherosclerosis and might affect perivascular in-flammation due to its proinflammatory properties. However, there are limited data about Lp(a)and related perivascular inflam-mation on coronary atheroma progression. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the associations between Lp(a)and the peri-vascular fat attenuation index(FAI)with coronary atheroma progression detected by coronary computed tomography angio-graphy(CCTA).METHODS Patients who underwent serial CCTA examinations without a history of revascularization and with available data for Lp(a)within one month before or after baseline and follow-up CCTA imaging scans were considered to be included.CCTA quantitative analyses were performed to obtain the total plaque volume(TPV)and the perivascular FAI.Coronary plaque pro-gression(PP)was defined as a≥10%increase in the change of the TPV at the patient level or the presence of new-onset coronary atheroma lesions. The associations between Lp(a)or the perivascular FAI with PP were examined by multivariate logistic regres-sion.RESULTS A total of 116 patients were ultimately enrolled in the present study with a mean CCTA interscan interval of 30.80±13.50 months.Among the 116 patients(mean age:53.49±10.21 years,males:83.6%),32 patients presented PP during the follow-up interval.Lp(a)levels were significantly higher among PP patients than those among non-PP patients at both baseline[15.80(9.09−33.60)mg/dL vs.10.50(4.75−19.71)mg/dL,P=0.029]and follow-up[20.60(10.45−34.55)mg/dL vs.8.77(5.00−18.78)mg/dL,P=0.004].However,there were no differences in the perivascular FAI between PP group and non-PP group at either baseline or follow-up.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that elevated baseline Lp(a)level(OR=1.031,95%CI:1.005−1.058,P=0.019)was an independent risk factor for PP after adjustment for other conventional variables.CONCLUSIONS Lp(a)was independently associated with coronary atheroma progression beyond low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and other conventional risk factors.Further studies are warranted to identify the inflammation effect exhibited as the perivascular FAI on coronary atheroma progression. | Xi WANG Dong-Kai SHAN Guan-Hua DOU Yi-Pu DING Jing JING He-Bin CHE Jun-Jie YANG Yun-Dai CHEN | 2021 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2021,18,12: | 1 |

| 17 | Supervised Deep Second-Order Covariance Hashing for Image Retrieval显示文摘Recently, deep hashing methods play a pivotal role in image retrieval tasks by combining advanced convolutional neural networks(CNNs)with efficient hashing.Meanwhile,second-order representations of deep convolutional activations have been established to effectively improve network performance in various computer vision applications. In this work,to obtain more compact hash codes,we propose a supervised deep second-order covariance hashing(SDSoCH)method by combining deep hashing with second-order statistic model.SDSoCH utilizes a powerful covariance pooling to model the second-order statistics of convolutional features, which is naturally integrated into the existing point-wise hashing network in an end-to-end manner. The embedded covariance pooling operation well captures the interaction of convolutional features and produces global feature representations with more discriminant capability, leading to the more informative hash codes.Extensive experiments conducted on two benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed SDSoCH outperforms its first-order counterparts and achieves superior retrieval performance. | Qian Wang YueWu Jianxin Zhang Hengbo Zhang Chao Che Lin Shan | 2020 | 国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2020,,1: | 0 |
