1Catalog of Enhanced Geothermal Systems based on Heat Sources显示文摘It is common sense that a deeper well implies higher temperature in the exploration of deep geothermal resources, especially with hot dry rock(HDR) geothermal resources, which are generally exploited in terms of enhanced geothermal systems(EGS). However, temperature is always different even at the same depth in the upper crust due to different heat sources. This paper summarizes the heat sources and classifies them into two types and five sub-types: crustorigin(partial melting, non-magma-generated tectonic events and radiogenic heat production), and mantle-origin(magma and heat conducted from the mantle). A review of global EGS sites is presented related to the five sub-types of heat sources. According to our new catalog, 71% of EGS sites host mantle-origin heat sources. The temperature logging curves indicate that EGS sites which host mantle-origin magma heat sources have the highest temperature. Therefore, high heat flow(>100 m W/m^(2)) regions with mantle-origin magma heat sources should be highlighted for the future exploration of EGS. The principle to identify the heat source is elucidated by applying geophysical and geochemical methods including noble gas isotope geochemistry and lithospheric thermal structure analysis. 2A Novel Attribute-Based Encryption Approach with Integrity Verification for CAD Assembly Models显示文摘Cloud manufacturing is one of the three key technologies that enable intelligent manufacturing.This paper presents a novel attribute-based encryption(ABE)approach for computer-aided design(CAD)assembly models to effectively support hierarchical access control,integrity verification,and deformation protection for co-design scenarios in cloud manufacturing.An assembly hierarchy access tree(AHAT)is designed as the hierarchical access structure.Attribute-related ciphertext elements,which are contained in an assembly ciphertext(ACT)file,are adapted for content keys decryption instead of CAD component files.We modify the original Merkle tree(MT)and reconstruct an assembly MT.The proposed ABE framework has the ability to combine the deformation protection method with a content privacy of CAD models.The proposed encryption scheme is demonstrated to be secure under the standard assumption.Experimental simulation on typical CAD assembly models demonstrates that the proposed approach is feasible in applications.Yueting Yang Fazhi He Soonhung Han Yaqian Liang Yuan Cheng 2021Engineering2021,7,6:3
3Advances in geopolymer materials: A comprehensive review显示文摘Geopolymer is a new environment-friendly cementitious material, and the development of geopolymer can reduce the carbon dioxide emission caused by the development of cement industry. Geopolymer materials not only have excellent mechanical properties, but also have a series of excellent properties such as fire resistance and corrosion resistance. Most industrial solid waste and waste incineration bottom ash are piled up at will, which not only occupies land resources, but also has a bad impact on the environment. Recycling them can be used as raw materials for preparing geopolymers. Geopolymer materials can effectively adsorb heavy metals, dyes, and other radioactive pollution, which is very beneficial to society's future development. However, due to the excellent properties of geopolymer materials, its application goes beyond that. Some useful information about geopolymer materials was introduced in this paper. The paper included the geopolymerization, the source of raw materials, the types of activators, the preparation methods, and the different application fields of geopolymer materials. The factors affecting the fresh properties and mechanical properties of geopolymer materials were discussed. 8Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells protect against ferroptosis in acute liver failure through the IGF1-hepcidin-FPN1 axis and inhibiting iron loading显示文摘Acute liver failure(ALF)is a significant global issue with elevated morbidity and mortality rates.There is an urgent and pressing need for secure and effective treatments.Ferroptosis,a novel iron-dependent regulation of cell death,plays a significant role in multiple pathological processes associated with liver diseases,including ALF.Several studies have demonstrated that mesenchymal stem cells(MsCs)have promising therapeutic potential in the treatment of ALF.This study aims to investigate the positive effects of MSCs against ferroptosis in an ALF model and explore the underlying molecular mechanisms of their therapeutic function.Our results show that in-travenously injected MsCs protect against ferroptosis in ALF mouse models.MsCs decrease iron deposition in the liver of ALF mice by downregulating hepcidin level and upregulating FPN1 level.MSCs labelled with Dil are mainly observed in the hepatic sinusoid and exhibit colocalization with the macrophage marker CD11b fluorescence.ELiSA demonstrates a high level of IGF1 in the CCL4+MSC group.Suppressing the IGF1 effect by the PPP blocks the therapeutic effect of MSCs against ferroptosis in ALF mice.Furthermore,disruption of IGF1 function results in iron deposition in the liver tissue due to impaired inhibitory effects of MsCs on hepcidin level.Our findings suggest that MSCs alleviate ferroptosis induced by disorders of iron metabolism in ALF mice by elevating IGF1 level.Moreover,MSCs are identified as a promising cell source for ferroptosis treatment in ALF mice.Haiqin Cheng Yaqian Shi Xuewei Li Ning Jin Mengyao Zhang Zhizhen Liu Yuxiang Liang Jun Xie 2024Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,2:0
9A novel two-dimensional nanoheterojunction via facilitating electron–hole pairs separation for synergistic tumor phototherapy and immunotherapy显示文摘Nanomaterial-mediated phototherapy in tumor treatment has been developed rapidly in the past few years due to its noninvasive character.However,the low energy conversion efficiency and high recombination rate of the photo-triggered electron–hole pairs of single nano-agent limit the phototherapy efficiency.Herein,we constructed a novel two-dimensional nanoheterojunction MoS_(2)-Ti_(3)C_(2)(MT),which allowed a high photothermal conversion efficiency(59.1%)as well as an effective separation of photo-triggered electron–hole pairs for reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation under single 808 nm laser irradiation.Upon the modification of the mitochondrial targeted molecule(3-proxycarboxylic)triphenyl phosphine bromide(TPP)and 4T1 cell membrane,m@MoS_(2)-Ti_(3)C_(2)/TPP(m@MTT)could effectively target to the tumor cell and further locate to the mitochondria to amplify tumor-specific oxidative stress,which not merely effectively inhibits the local tumor growth but also induces tumor immunogenic cell death(ICD)for activating antitumor immune response.Additionally,cytosine guanine dinucleotide(CPG),as a Toll-like receptor 9(TLR9)agonist,was further introduced to the system to boost adaptive immune responses,resulting in improved level of cytotoxic T cells as well as a decrease in the number of regulatory T cells.In vivo antitumor mechanism studies demonstrated that not only the primary and distant tumors in 4T1 bearing-tumor mice model were significantly inhibited,but also the lung metastasis of tumor was effectively suppressed.Therefore,this work revealed the ROS generation mechanism of MT nanoheterojunction and provided a novel strategy to fabricate a biomedically applicable MT nanoheterojunction for tumor treatment.Xiaoge Zhang Xiaomei Chen Peng Zhang Meiting Li Miao Feng Yaqian Zhang Lili Cheng Junjie Tang Langtao Xu Yadong Liu Zhuoyin Liu Zhong Cao Jie Liu 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
