2The improved element-free Galerkin method for three-dimensional transient heat conduction problems显示文摘With the improved moving least-squares (IMLS) approximation, an orthogonal function system with a weight function is used as the basis function. The combination of the element-free Galerkin (EFG) method and the IMLS approximation leads to the development of the improved element-free Galerkin (IEFG) method. In this paper, the IEFG method is applied to study the partial differential equations that control the heat flow in three-dimensional space. With the IEFG technique, the Galerkin weak form is employed to develop the discretized system equations, and the penalty method is applied to impose the essential boundary conditions. The traditional difference method for two-point boundary value problems is selected for the time discretization. 4Preparation and Mechanical Properties of PAN/HNTs Composite Nanofibers显示文摘The enhanced composite nanofibers have attracted great attention for application in recent years. The electrospinning technique was considered to be a prospective production pattern for them. This paper provided a promising technique to prepare the polyacrylonitrile(PAN)/halloysite nanotube(HNT) composite nanofibers by using the electrospinning method. The PAN/HNTs composite nanofibers with well enhanced performance were successfully fabricated from a mixture of PAN/DMF/HNTs dispersion solution processed by the electrospinning technique. For achieving good dispersion in PAN polymer, the highly dispersed HNTs were obtained by using polycarboxylate modification employing the in-situ spray-drying method. The structure and properties of the composite nanofibers were characterized by TEM, XRD, EDX, IR, and DSC techniques. The obtained PAN/HNTs composite nanofibers with different HNTs contents were about 300—500nm in diameter. 6An Approach for Preparation of Excellent Antiwear PTFE Nanocomposites by Filling As-prepared Carbon Nanotubes/Nanorods(CNT/CNR)Mixed Nano-Carbon Material显示文摘The one-dimensional carbon nanotubes/nanorods(CNT/CNR)mixed nano-carbon material was successfully prepared by halloysite nanotubes(HNTs)as the template for the first time,in which CNT was formed through PVA modification in internal surface of HNTs and CNR was obtained by nanocasting PVA in hollow nanostructure of HNTs.The CNT of the mixture with flexible structure has ca.20 nm in pore diameter and ca.500 nm in length,whereas the CNR with hard and solid structure shows ca.30 nm in diameter and ca.2μm in length.For application as fillers,the CNT/CNR mixed nano-material is used to reinforce the properties of polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE).The mechanical and tribological properties of PTFE nanocomposites were intensively examined by a series of testing.The ring-on-ring counterface was used to evaluate the tribological behavior of the nanocomposites.The results showed that the volume wear rate of the CNT/CNR-reinforced PTFE nanocomposite after being filled with 0.3%of CNT/CNR was only 1/700 of that of the pure PTFE under a load of 200 N and a rotary speed of 200 r/min,while other mechanical and tribological performance was comparable to the performance of pure PTFE,which exhibited a desirable application prospect.Cheng Zhilin Cao Baochong Liu Zan Qin Dunzhong Zhu Aiping 2018China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2018,20,2:2
7Oil production rate predictions for steam assisted gravity drainage based on high-pressure experiments显示文摘Dual-well steam assisted gravity drainage(SAGD) has significant potential for extra-heavy oil recovery.China is conducting two dual-well SAGD pilot projects in the Fengcheng extra-heavy oil reservoir.Quick,direct predictions of the oil production rate by algebraic models rather than complex numerical models are of great importance for designing and adjusting the SAGD operations.A low-pressure scaled physical simulation was previously used to develop two separate theoretical models corresponding to the two different growth stages observed in the SAGD steam chambers,which are the steam chamber rising stage and the steam chamber spreading stage.A high-pressure scaled model experiment is presented here for one dual-well SAGD pattern to further improve the prediction models to reasonably predict oil production rates for full production.Parameters that significantly affect the oil recovery during SAGD were scaled for the model size based on the reservoir characteristics of the Fengcheng reservoir in China.Experimental results show the relationship between the evolution of the steam chamber and the oil production rate during the entire production stage.High-pressure scaled model test was used to improve the gravity drainage models by modifying empirical factors for the rising model and the depletion model.A new division of the SAGD production regime was developed based on the relationship between the oil production rate and the evolution of steam chamber.A method was developed to couple the rising and depletion models to predict oil production rates during the SAGD production,especially during the transition period.The method was validated with experiment data and field data from the literature.The model was then used to predict the oil production rate in the Fengcheng reservoir in China and the Athabasca reservoir in Canada.GUO Jia ZAN Cheng MA DeSheng SHI Lin 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,2:2
8A Study on Tribological Properties of Polypropylene Nanocomposites Reinforced with Pretreated HNTs显示文摘The polypropylene(PP) nanocomposites filled with pretreated halloysite nanotubes(HNTs) were prepared by the melt-blending method. Before filling, the as-received HNTs powder was at first purified and then modified. The characterization tests showed that the purified HNTs had less impurity and more uniform pore size distribution and the surface hydrophobicity of the modified HNTs was obviously improved. The mechanical and tribological properties of the PP/HNTs nanocomposites were extensively investigated. 10Hydrothermal-assisted grinding route for WS_(2) quantum dots(QDs)from nanosheets with preferable tribological performance显示文摘The 2 D nanomaterials have achieved the superlubrication property whatever in solid or liquid lubrication in recent years.However,whether or not the nanosheets can stably disperse in oils and smoothly enter into the asperity of friction pairs is crucial for exerting the function of antifriction.The structure of 2 D QDs is desirable for addressing these issues due to its smaller 3 D size.In this study,we developed a facile preparation process for WS_(2) QDs with uniform 2 nm size from nanosheets via hydrothermal-assisted grinding approach.The structure of the as-obtained WS_(2) QDs was determined by a series of characterizations.The results showed that the as-obtained WS_(2) QDs exhibited the typical spectrum features of nanosized quantum dot.The results of the tribological performance in grease verified that the average friction coefficient(ACOFs) and wear volume(AWVs) were decreased by 7.89% and 63.90%relative to grease,respectively,exhibiting a preferable friction reducing and wear resistance.Zhi-Lin Cheng Lu Ma Zan Liu 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,1:2
11Concentric UCAs Based Low-Order OAM for High Capacity in Radio Vortex Wireless Communications显示文摘Due to the potential capacity-boosting for wireless communications,radio vortex wireless communication(RowComm)over orthogonal states/modes of orbital angular momentum(OAM)has been paid much attention to in recent years.A uniform circular array(UCA),as an efficient and convenient antenna structure,can transmit/receive multiple OAM beams with different OAM-modes simultaneously when the transmitter and receiver are aligned.However,for high-order OAMmodes,the OAM beams are divergent accompanied by severe attenuation.Thus,it is difficult to directly use high-order OAM-modes to achieve high capacity for RowComms.To obtain high capacity potentially offered by OAM-modes,in this paper we transform the singular UCA into the concentric UCAs,where high capacity can be achieved using multiple parallel low-order OAM-modes instead of all high-order OAM-modes,to increase the capacity of transmitter-receiver aligned Row-Comms.In particular,we study two cases:1).concentric UCAs based RowComms without co-mode interference;2).concentric UCAs based RowComms with co-mode interference.We propose a co-mode-interference-free and a co-mode-interference-contained mode-decomposition schemes to recover transmitted signals for these two cases,respectively.Additionally,we develop optimal power allocation schemes to maximize the capacity for these two cases.Numerical simulations are presented to validate and evaluate that our developed concentric UCAs based low-order RowComms can significantly increase the capacity as compared with that of singular UCA based RowComms.Haiyue Jing Wenchi Cheng Zan Li Hailin Zhang 2018Journal of Communications and Information Networks2018,3,4:2
12Research methods and performance analysis for the moderately high temperature refrigerant显示文摘In China, directly dropping high temperature refrigerant into conventional com- pressor is considered as a dominant technical route for development of moderately high temperature heat pump. Based on this route, selection criteria for high tem- perature refrigerant were presented with consideration of several influencing fac- tors. Moreover, a set of research methods were built including theoretical calcula- tions and experimental tests. Four high temperature refrigerants from HTR01 to HTR04 were compared and analyzed. 15Graphene-intercalated HNTs for Reinforcing PTFE显示文摘The preparation of graphene(GN)and graphene-intercalated halloysite nanotubes(HNTs)to form nanomaterials was achieved by using HNTs template.As a promising application,a series of the polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)nanocomposite filled with GN and GN/HNTs at different mass fractions were prepared.The mechanical and friction properties of PTFE nanocomposites depending on the mass fraction of graphene-intercalated HNTs(GN/HNTs)were intensively investigated.The comparison between the effects of GN and GN/HNTs serving as fillers on properties of PTFE was presented.The results showed that in terms of enhancing the tensile strength of PTFE,the enhancement effect of GN is superior to GN/HNTs,and in terms of the elongation at break,the GN/HNTs filler could reserve more toughness than GN.The Young’s modulus of the GN/HNTs incorporated into PTFE is about 1.9 times larger than pure PTFE,and is superior to GN/HNTs.The friction coefficient of PTFE nanocomposites filled with GN and GN/HNTs was slightly higher than pure PTFE and the latter was lower than the former.The volume wear rate of PTFE nanocomposites filled with GN/HNTs was obviously lower than the case with GN,which exhibited the better wear resistance of GN/HNTs used as filler.Liu Zan Cao Baochong Cheng Zhilin 2020China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,1:1

18Highly dispersed Mn_2O_3 microspheres:Facile solvothermal synthesis and their application as Li-ion battery anodes显示文摘Nanostructured transition metal oxides are promising alternative anodes for lithium ion batteries.Li-ion storage performance is expected to improve if high packing density energy particles are available.Herein,Mn_2O_3 microspheres with a ca.18 μm diameter and a tapped density of 1.33 g/cm^3 were synthesized by a facile solvothermal-thermal coversion route.Spherical MnCO_3 precursors were obtained through solvothermal treatment and they decomposed and converted into Mn_2O_3 microspheres at an annealing temperature of 700 C.The Mn_2O_3 microspheres consisted of Mn_2O_3 nanoparticles with an average 40 nm diameter.These porous Mn_2O_3 microspheres allow good electrolyte penetration and provide an ion buffer reservoir to ensure a constant electrolyte supply.The Mn_2O_3 microspheres have reversible capacities of590 and 320 mAh/g at 50 and 400 mA/g,respectively.We thus report an efficient route for the fabrication of energy particles for advanced energy storage.Jianfei Yu Lin Zhu Cheng Fan Cheng Zan Ling Hu Shuhui Yang Qiang Zhang Wancheng Zhu Lin Shi Fei Wei 2015Particuology2015,13,5:1
