1Synthesis of Alumina-Coated Natural Graphite for Highly Cycling Stability and Safety of Li-Ion Batteries显示文摘The natural graphite(NG)urdformly coated with alumina ceramics(Al2O3)was successfully synthesized through sol-gel method.The aluminum plastic film soft-packed battery prepared using Al2O3-coated NG as anode material exhibits excellent cycle performance and safety performance.The cycling retention of AN-1 is 84.95% after 200 cycles at a rate of 1 C in a potential window ranging from 3.0 to 4.35 V,which is much greater than 75.07% of NG under the same test conditions.The result of the nail penetration tests shows that the successful nail penetration rate of the NG used as anode is 0%,while that of Al2O3 coated samples AN-1 is 100%.The test results show that the Al2O3 coating could act as a solid electrolyte to suppress side reactions,improve cycle stability,and prevent a thermal runaway under mechanical abuse.Tao Xu Chengkun Zhou Haihui Zhou Zekun Wang Jianguo Ren 2019Chinese Journal of Chemistry2019,37,4:13
2Monthly survey of N-nitrosamine yield in a conventional water treatment plant in North China显示文摘A sampling campaign was conducted monthly to investigate the occurrence of N-nitrosamines at a conventional water treatment plant in one city in North China.The yield of N-nitrosamines in the treated water indicated precursors changed greatly after the source water switching.Average concentrations of N-nitrosodimethylamine(NDMA),N-nitrosomorpholine(NMOR),and N-nitrosopyrrolidine(NPYR) in the finished water were6.9,3.3,and 3.1 ng/L,respectively,from June to October when the Luan River water was used as source water,while those of NDMA,N-nitrosomethylethylamine(NMEA),and NPYR in the finished water were 10.1,4.9,and 4.7 ng/L,respectively,from November to next April when the Yellow River was used.NDMA concentration in the finished water was frequently over the 10 ng/L,i.e.,the notification level of California,USA,which indicated a considerable threat to public health.Weak correlations were observed between N-nitrosamine yield and typical water quality parameters except for the dissolved organic nitrogen.Chengkun Wang Shuming Liu Jun Wang Xiaojian Zhang Chao Chen 2015Journal of Environmental Sciences2015,27,12:11

4A micro-adjusting attitude mechanism for autonomous drilling robot end-effector显示文摘Drilling end-effector is a key unit in autonomous drilling robot.The perpendicularity of the hole has an important influence on the quality of airplane assembly.Aiming at the robot drilling perpendicularity,a micro-adjusting attitude mechanism and a surface normal measurement algorithm are proposed in this paper.In the mechanism,two rounded eccentric discs are used and the small one is embedded in the big one,which makes the drill’s point static when adjusting the drill’s attitude.Thus,removal of drill’s point position after adjusting the drill attitude can be avoided.Before the micro-adjusting progress,four non-coplanar points in space are used to determine a unique sphere.The normal at the drilling point is measured by four laser ranging sensors.The adjusting angles at which the motors should be rotated to adjust attitude can be calculated by using the deviation between the normal and the drill axis.Finally,the motors will drive the two eccentric discs to achieve micro-adjusting progress.Experiments on drilling robot system and the results demonstrate that the adjusting mechanism and the algorithm for surface normal measurement are effective with high accuracy and efficiency.YUAN PeiJiang WANG QiShen SHI ZhenYun WANG TianMiao WANG ChengKun CHEN DongDong SHEN LiHeng 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,12:8

6Characterization of dissolved organic matter as N-nitrosamine precursors based on hydrophobicity, molecular weight and fluorescence显示文摘It is very important to identify the dominant precursors for N-nitrosamine formation from bulk organic matter, to enhance the understanding of N-nitrosamine formation pathways in water treatment plants and allow the development of practical treatment technologies. In this study, dissolved organic matter (DOM) from two source waters was fractionated with XAD resins and ultra- filtration membranes. The N-nitrosamine formation potential (FP) (ng of N-nitrosamines formed per mg of dissolved organic carbon (DOC)) from raw water and each fraction were measured and correlated with the fluorescence excitation-emission matrix (EEM), molecular weight (MW) and other assays. The results showed that the hydrophilic fraction had N-nitrosamine FP 1.3 to 3.5 times higher than the hydrophobic fraction from both source waters. The DOM fraction with low MW was the dominant fraction in these two source waters and contributed more precursors for N-nitrosamine formation than the larger MW fraction. The EEM spectra indicated there were notable amounts of soluble microbial products (SMPs) and aromatic proteins in the two studied rivers, which probably originated from wastewater discharge. The SMPs tended to be more closely correlated with N-nitrosodimethylamine formation potential than the other DOM components. 7A Novel Strategy to Fabricate Core-Sheath Structure Piezoelectric Yarns for Wearable Energy Harvesters显示文摘Wearable and portable electronic devices based on textile structure have been widely used owing to their wearability and comfortableness.However,yarn fineness and the comfort of the fabric cannot satisfy the requirements of smart wearable devices.This work presents a novel strategy to prepare highly integrated PVDF/conductive nylon core-sheath structure piezoelectric yarns for wearable which is fabricated by combining electrospinning strategy with 2D braiding technology.The fineness of single yarns as well as strength are both improved significantly compared to previous works.The piezoelectric outputs of the yarn are still stable after 800 s fatigue test at a frequency of 4 Hz,and the cycle stability can maintain more than 3200 cycles.Furthermore,the piezoelectric yarns are further woven into piezoelectric plain fabric.According to the electrical performance,the length of the piezoelectric yarn and the thickness of the piezoelectric layer would both affect the output electrical performance.The yarn of the 10 cm in length and 600μm in fineness can produce an output voltage of 120 mV.Meanwhile,Both the piezoelectric yarn and the fabric could generate piezoelectric output signals through human movement,such as bending,walking.Therefore,the electrical and mechanical performance of the piezoelectric yarns prepared in our work could be improved significantly,and the comfortableness and durability performance of the piezoelectric fabric can satisfy most wearing requirements,which would provide some help in the field of piezoelectric wearable devices based on yarns and fabrics.Lili Xue Wei Fan Yang Yu Kai Dong Chengkun Liu Yanli Sun Cong Zhang Weichun Chen Ruixin Lei Kai Rong Qi Wang 2021Advanced Fiber Materials2021,3,4:3

9Evidence combination method in time domain based on reliability and importance显示文摘In order to achieve the information fusion in the time domain based on the evidence theory, an evidence combination method in the time domain based on reliability and importance is proposed according to the idea of evidence discount. Firstly, the distortion of the time-domain evidence is judged based on single exponential smoothing. The real-time reliability of the evidence at the adjacent time is obtained by the real-time reliability assessment method of the evidence based on the credibility decay model.Then, the relative importance of the evidence at the adjacent time is obtained by comprehensively considering improved conflict degree and uncertainty. Finally, based on the criterion of evidence discount and the Dempster's rule of combination, the evidence combination is carried out to achieve the sequential combination of time-domain evidence. 10SARS-CoV-2 Omicron RBD shows weaker binding affinity than the currently dominant Delta variant to human ACE2显示文摘Dear Editor,SARS-coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)Omicron variant(B.1.1.529)is of great concern to the world due to its multiple mutations that may have an impact on transmissibility and immune evasion.1 Compared to the wild type(WT),Omicron carries as many as 30 single point mutations,3 deletion mutation and one insertion mutation on its spike protein.Strikingly,there are 15 mutations observed in the Omicron receptor-binding domain(RBD),10 of which are in the receptor-binding motif(RBM)that human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)and most monoclonal antibodies(mAbs)interact directly with.As a comparison,the currently dominant variant Delta(B.1.617.2)has only 2 mutations(L452R and T478K)in its RBM and additional K417N and E484K mutations sometimes.Therefore,Omicron variant may significantly impact the binding affinity to ACE2 and effectiveness of currently available mAbs.Consequently,Omicron mutant has aroused wide concern,many countries have taken measures on entry restrictions to prevent its rapid spread.However,the transmissibility and immune evasion risk of Omicron have not been properly evaluated.Leyun Wu Liping Zhou Mengxia Mo Tingting Liu Chengkun Wu Chunye Gong Kai Lu Likun Gong Weiliang Zhu Zhijian Xu 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,2:2

14Research on the threshold effect of population aging on the industrial structure upgrading in China显示文摘This paper constructs coefficients of the integral and the internal structure upgrading in the secondary and tertiary industries, selects per capita real gross domestic product as a threshold variable and build panel threshold model according to inter-provincial panel data of China from 1998 to 2016. Results indicated that population aging has a double threshold effect on the integral industrial structure upgrading, whose influence increases first and then decreases, significantly promoting the upgrading process. As for internal structure, population aging has no significant threshold effect on the upgrading in the secondary industry, but exerts a single negative threshold effect in the tertiary industry. When economic development is under the threshold, its negative impact is greater. 15Longwall mining under gateroads and gobs of abandoned small mine显示文摘Due to the use of outdated mining technology or room and pillar mining process in small coal mines, the coal recovery ratio is only 10–25%. In many regions of China, the damage area caused by the small coal mines amounted to nearly one hundred square kilometers. Therefore, special mining techniques must be taken to reclaim the wasted resource in disturbed coal areas. This paper focuses on the different mining methods by analyzing the longwall panel layout and abandoned gateroad(AG) distribution in the abandoned area of Cuijiazhai coal mine in northwestern China. On the basis of three-dimensional geological model, FLAC3 D numerical simulation was employed. The abutment pressure distribution was simulated when the panel face passed through the disturbed areas. The proper angle of the inclined face was analyzed when the panel face passed through the abandoned gateroads. The results show that the head end of the face should be 13–20 m ahead of the tail end. The pillars on both sides of abandoned gateroads had not been damaged at the same time, and no large-area stress concentration occured above the main roof.Therefore, the coal reserves of disturbed areas can be successfully recovered by using underground longwall mining.Li Yang Zhu Enguang Zhang Kangning Li Minghao Wang Jiaxing Li Chengkun 2017International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2017,27,1:1
