2Highly Efficient Adsorption of Copper Ions by a PVP-Reduced Graphene Oxide Based On a New Adsorptions Mechanism显示文摘Polyvinylpyrrolidone-reduced graphene oxide was prepared by modified hummers method and was used as adsorbent for removing Cu ions from wastewater. The effects of contact time and ions concentration on adsorption capacity were examined. The maximum adsorption capacity of 1689 mg/g was observed at an initial p H value of 3.5 after agitating for 10 min. It was demonstrated that polyvinylpyrrolidone-reduced graphene oxide had a huge adsorption capacity for Cu ions, which was 10 times higher than maximal value reported in previous works. The adsorption mechanism was also discussed by density functional theory. It demonstrates that Cu ions are attracted to surface of reduced graphene oxide by C atoms in reduced graphene oxide modified by polyvinylpyrrolidone through physisorption processes, which may be responsible for the higher adsorption capacity. Our results suggest that polyvinylpyrrolidone-reduced graphene oxide is an effective adsorbent for removing Cu ions in wastewater. 3The Optimization of Ultrasonic Extraction Process of Total Flavonoids from Rhodiola Crenulata by Response Surface Method显示文摘[Objectives]To study the optimal extraction process of total flavonoids in Rhodiola rosea L.,and further facilitate the development and utilization of Rhodiola rosea L. [Methods]With Rhodiola crenulata as raw material,ethanol as extractant,ultrasonic extraction as the extraction method,the single factor method was first used for preliminary investigation of effect of ethanol volume fraction,solid-liquid ratio,extraction temperature and extraction time on the flavonoids extraction rate,and then the Box-Behnken response surface method was used to optimize the extraction process of total flavonoids in R. crenulata. [Results] The optimal extraction conditions: ethanol concentration of 72%;solid-liquid ratio of 1∶ 43; extraction temperature of 66℃; extraction time of 50 min. Under these conditions,the extraction rate of total flavonoids from R. crenulata was 2. 591%. 4Coal analysis using the pulsed neutron generator显示文摘A prototype of elemental analyzer for coal has been developed by using a PFTNA (pulse fast thermalneutron analysis) system. The PFTNA technology is based on the reactions such as (n, γ), (n, n'γ), (n, Pγ), etc. byexamining the characteristic gamma rays emitted. In our prototype a pulsed neutron generator provides 14 MeV pulseneutrons, which contribute to the separation of spectrum Ⅱ (the sum of capture and activation spectrum) fiom spec-trum Ⅰ (the sum of inelastic, capture and activation spectrum), and thus to the measurement of C and O contents incoal. Data management is completed by computer program using the least-square regression method. 5A space power system of free piston Stirling generator based on potassium heat pipe显示文摘The power system of a free piston Stirling generator(FPSG)based on potassium heat pipes has been developed in this paper.Thanks to the advantages of long life,high reliability,and high overall thermal efficiency,the FPSG is a promising candidate for nuclear energy,especially in space exploration.In this paper,the recent progress of FPSG based on nuclear reactor for space use was briefly reviewed.A novel FPSG weighted only 4.2 kg was designed,and one dimensional thermodynamic modeling of the FPSG using Sage software was performed to estimate its performance.The experiment results indicated that this FPSG could provide 142.4 W at a thermal-to-electric efficiency of nearly 17.4%.Besides,the power system integrated with four FPSGs and potassium heat pipes was performed and the single machine failure test was conducted.The results show that this system could provide an electrical power of 300 W at an overall thermal efficiency of 7.3%.Thus,it is concluded that this power system is feasible and will have a great prospect for future applications.Mingqiang LIN Jian MOU Chunyun CHI Guotong HONG Panhe GE Gu HU 2020Frontiers in Energy2020,14,1:5
6Nanostructured ZnO for biosensing applications显示文摘Based on the unique properties, nanostructured ZnO could provide a stable immobilization for biomolecules retaining their biological activity. It has been recently developed as a nice candidate for the construction of biosensors with enhanced analytical performance. In this paper, we reviewed the progress in adapting nanostructured ZnO for several predominantly in biosensing applications based on enzymic reaction, immunoreaction, and molecular compitation. 7Effect of Morphology for Novel Bainite/Martensite Dual-Phase High Strength Steel on Its Hydrogen Embrittlement Susceptibility显示文摘The susceptibility to hydrogen embrittlement ofbainite/martensite dual-phase high strength steel with different morphologies obtained by the conventional and thermo-mechanical heat treatments has been investigated by means of electrolytic hydrogen charging. The results showed that the finer the microstructure, the lower the sensitivity of steel to hydrogen embrittlement. The fractographic analysis suggested that the fracture mode of the hydrogen-charged specimens is of a mixture of quasicleavage and dimple for both treating processes. The quasicleavage facet of the thermomechanical treated specimen is smaller than that of the conventional heated one, which is probably the reason for reducing the susceptibility to hydrogen embrittlement. 8Side-Channel Analysis for the Authentication Protocols of CDMA Cellular Networks显示文摘Time-division multiple access (TDMA) and code-division multiple access (CDMA) are two technologies used in digital cellular networks. The authentication protocols of TDMA networks have been proven to be vulnerable to side-channel analysis (SCA), giving rise to a series of powerful SCA-based attacks against unprotected subscriber identity module (SIM) cards. CDMA networks have two authentication protocols, cellular authentication and voice encryption (CAVE) based authentication protocol and authentication and key agreement (AKA) based authentication protocol, which are used in different phases of the networks. However, there has been no SCA attack for these two protocols so far. In this paper, in order to figure out if the authentication protocols of CDMA networks are sufficiently secure against SCA, we investigate the two existing protocols and their cryptographic algorithms. We find the side-channel weaknesses of the two protocols when they are implemented on embedded systems. Based on these weaknesses, we propose specific attack strategies to recover their authentication keys for the two protocols, respectively. We verify our strategies on an 8-bit microcontroller and a real-world SIM card, showing that the authentication keys can be fully recovered within a few minutes with a limited number of power measurements. 9Cold Water in the Lee of the Batanes Islands in the Luzon Strait显示文摘Using satellite remote sensing data and hydrological observation data,this study investigated the cold water in the lee of the Batanes Islands in the Luzon Strait.The formation of cold water in climate is mainly due to the geostrophic heat advection on the east and west sides of the Batanes Islands:the Kuroshio separates into two branches on the east and west sides of the Batanes Islands.These two branches cause two warm tongues by transferring heat from low latitudes to mid-latitudes,and then the two warm tongues lead to the formation of the relatively cold water in the lee of the Batanes Islands.Further study shows that the cold water range has obvious seasonal and inter-annual variations.Except for August,the seasonal variation of the cold water range is caused by the interaction of geostrophic heat advection and net surface heat flux,whereas the low temperature in August in the lee of the Batanes Islands is caused by the island wake effect.The inter-annual of the cold water range is related to the difference in the meridional velocity between the east and west sides of the Batanes Islands,and the correlation coefficient can reach−0.68 at the 95%confidence level.SUN Ruili ZHAI Fangguo ZHANG Guosheng GU Yanzhen CHI Nianping 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,6:1

12Meticulous Regionalization of Climate Suitability about Spring Potato Planting in Western Guizhou Based on GIS显示文摘[Objective] The study aimed to carry out the regionalization of climate suitability about spring potato planting in Western Guizhou on the basis of GIS technology. [Method] Based on the climatic data of 15 meteorological stations in Western Guizhou during the growing period of spring potato from March to August in 1978-2010, the regionalization indicators of climate suitability about spring potato planting were determined according to the correlation between climatic factors and meteorological yield of spring potato. Afterwards, on the basis of climitic data and corresponding basic geographical information like longitude, latitude, altitude, slope and aspect, the spatial analysis models of division indicators about spring potato planting in Western Guizhou were established by using GIS spatial overlay analysis and used to carry out the township-level regionalization of climate suitability about spring potato planting in Western Guizhou with 100 m×100 m grids. [Result] Based on the relationship between meteorological yield of spring potato and climatic factors in Western Guizhou from 1978 to 2010, eight climatic division indicators, including altitude, average temperature,>10 ℃ active accumulated temperature, precipitation and sunshine hours in the growth stage, average temperature in July, average temperature difference between day and night from July to August, and precipitation from May to July, were chosen for spring potato planting, and each indicator had three levels, namely the most suitable, suitable and sub-suitable. Meanwhile, Western Guizhou was grouped into three areas according to these indicators, including the most suitable area, suitable area and sub-suitable area, and their area accounted for 52%, 45% and 3% of total area of the whole province respectively. 19A silk-based self-adaptive flexible opto-electro neural probe显示文摘The combination of optogenetics and electrophysiological recording enables high-precision bidirectional interactions between neural interfaces and neural circuits,which provides a promising approach for the study of progressive neurophysiological phenomena.Opto-electrophysiological neural probes with sufficient flexibility and biocompatibility are desirable to match the low mechanical stiffness of brain tissue for chronic reliable performance.However,lack of rigidity poses challenges for the accurate implantation of flexible neural probes with less invasiveness.Herein,we report a hybrid probe(Silk-Optrode)consisting of a silk protein optical fiber and multiple flexible microelectrode arrays.The Silk-Optrode can be accurately inserted into the brain and perform synchronized optogenetic stimulation and multichannel recording in freely behaving animals.Silk plays an important role due to its high transparency,excellent biocompatibility,and mechanical controllability.Through the hydration of the silk optical fiber,the Silk-Optrode probe enables itself to actively adapt to the environment after implantation and reduce its own mechanical stiffness to implant into the brain with high fidelity while maintaining mechanical compliance with the surrounding tissue.The probes with 128 recording channels can detect high-yield well-isolated single units while performing intracranial light stimulation with low optical losses,surpassing previous work of a similar type.Two months of post-surgery results suggested that as-reported Silk-Optrode probes exhibit better implant-neural interfaces with less immunoreactive glial responses and tissue lesions.Yu Zhou Chi Gu Jizhi Liang Bohan Zhang Huiran Yang Zhitao Zhou Meng Li Liuyang Sun Tiger H.Tao Xiaoling Wei 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,6:1
